I have learnt things about Geto that I wish I could unlearn

#I think I'm getting about the same amount of spoilers as a few weeks ago except now I understand them #But like. I expected so much of him #Seeing gifs of that one scene in which Gojo gets distracted because of Geto almost made me watch this a year ago #Geto was actually my favourite character in that one JJK fanfic I read that I mention so often even if he had literally one scene #I know so much of the emotional turmoil and conflict in JJK and Gojo in particular depends on him #And you're telling me he's Thanos?#I learnt a few days ago that everything pretty much happens in one year. That there's one year between Geto's death and Gojo's #I thought it would be like ten years. Ten years of the act haunting him #But no? So it's not a broken teenager who has these ideas and is killed by another teenager to stop him?#It's a what? ~30yo man saying Light levels of stupidity? Even worse perhaps?#Goodness I hope this is not so. I hope this is better written than what I am seeing #Because goddammit I can't do it. It would kinda ruin every emotional scene from then on?#That one scene I was so looking forwards about patting Gojo's back or whatever. The one in which Gojo gets distracted. It just. I don't know #I won't be able to be moved if Geto doesn't work xD #I was fearing I wasn't going to like him a lot because my expectations were big but oh my god please not like this #This is way worse than I expected. Someone tell me he actually makes sense. What's the point of this whole political play #in which no one is fully wrong and no one is totally right otherwise? What is the point of the haunting. This feels just idiotic xD #And I don't care about the traumas and all that. That works for the teen not the ~30yo man #It would have worked if Gojo would have killed him like 1-2 years after everything not like a few months ago. Last winter #After like ten years a 30yo man should have realised this plan sucks.#Even if it's utilitarian. Who is going to make clothes? Buildings? Streets and railways? Bread??? Go have a talk with Nanami please #We have been told there are not a lot of jujutsu sorcerers. How are you going to fulfill all those needs out of nothing?#And even if it were little by little so the needs could be getting fulfilled little by little too #If you decimate humans won't that cause more curses? I guess he's thinking on the long run but still this plan seems like a mess #I hope it makes more sense than it's looking it will make because of my god this would truly be the last nail on the coffin xD #I am being more and more tempted to get to Utahime and then just drop this. #I think sunlight is a drug #I feel like a new person #maybe it’s just a mindset shift idk #but I’m doing art again too!!!! it’s been SO long since I’ve done art on my own #and like actually attempted a project #and then improv was so fucking fun today #stilll thinking about Brophy’s character. he was just a lil caterpillar. he deserved better #and then Liz played an alcoholic mom who was AWFUL to her kid #and we were just silly and goofy and had a great lil time with this teacher #I love all my friends so much #they’re incredibly funny. honored that they let me play with them #I just have such a good life and I gotta remember that!!! for the winter #maybe. maybe I’m just Fixed and it’s not just that the sun is out #I have also been on a really really weird sleep schedule so maybe that’s part of it #but I feel like I’ve been waxing poetic about the clouds for like a week before my sleep schedule got changed #anyways #go outside and look at how pretty the sky is!!! and the trees and the birds!!! so many little birds #and also the people. all my friends are beautiful and lovely and I’m so glad they’re in my life #I even talked to coworkers I hate today #and I was polite and made conversation #(not with Karl. let’s not get too crazy here. he can go die)#but even fucking ******#I was nice to her even tho I dislike her #cause she’s just a person!! we’re all just people guys #except Karl. it's so funny to me when i see people talk about the mcu like "oughhh they should have used [x] character's theme in the soundtrack in the 5 second scene they appeared in" like you really think the mcu soundtracks are cohesive enough across movies to be able to incorporate motifs and themes in a meaningful way. you really think that. lol. lmao, even.

#i will never stop clowning on the mcu soundtracks oh my god #theyre trying soooo hard to be a Cinematic Series that all tie into each other but theyre giving the soundtracks the bare fucking minimum #and being soo lazy in how they try and tie in character themes when there are NO consistent motifs to be seen.#the only actual consistent motif is the actual avengers theme which yeah. ok ill give them that its a great theme.#but idk. they just aren't very good at making good soundtracks for the story. its just generic Background Music.#there's no connection to the story. there's no connection to the characters. its just noise.#''but its because each soundtrack was composed by a different guy'' look at transformers.#steve jablonsky did most of the movies but the newer one? jognic bontemps.#and yes they are very clearly two different styles of composition but YOU CAN TELL THEYRE FROM THE SAME MEDIA.#YOU CAN TELL ITS A TRANSFORMERS SOUNDTRACK. and bontemps even brought in some of jablonsky's motifs #to incorporate into key moments for an added punch and IT WORKED SO WELL!!!!!!!!!#and idk. its funny seeing dudebros be soooo obsessed with the mcu soundtracks when many of them are just. not that good #the exceptions of course are black panther the winter soldier avengers 1 iron man 3.#black panther soundtrack call me LITERALLY any time #winter speaks #mcu #woe another host of Music Opinions be upon ye #orchestral music tag

#: hate how far it got to where i'm still struggling even now #but i'm trying to make a packing list for one home (summer clothes) & another home (winter clothes)#& trying to find ways to make stuff work for both seasons that still makes me feel good & myself & comfy etc etc #& it'll take time & it's okay just (#i hate how soooo so much of what i still do carries the weight of 7 years of emotional abuse. mild emotional abuse at that #i lost most of my 20s / important developmental time & like. it idk sounds so innocuous but?? he controlled how i dressed #thru backhanded compliments & guilt tripping when i refused to wear his clothes & hated when i put makeup on / wore stuff i felt cutest in #& i've been out of that situation for almost 3 years now but only just ???? finding my stride re: clothes i like & that i like on me #& with it comes sooo much stuff other people my age have long figured out like layering & what silhouettes look best #& it just. makes me feel like i'm at school again. not quite on the same page as everyone else?#they seem to be aware of things i have no clue about? just slightly off kilter?#& it's prob not that deep omfg #but just (: jinkies re: ex & also i'm trying so hard not to trigger any self esteem issues again

a/n: WELL. hello friends. i said i wasn’t gonna post a one shot for a while, then this happened. i just hope its up to standard! i’m a little rusty in my writing considering everything!

in regards to new works, gonna be working on getting my wips out soon, and maybe popping some new smaus out at the same time as they’re easy and quick-ish for me to work on considering everything going on! do forgive me if i do some random family orientated stuff — pregnancy hormones are giving me baby fever for everything (is it still baby fever if you’re having a baby?)
