A/N: This fic is a birthday gift for @psychedelic-ink. Sil, you’re a wonderful friend and you do so much for the Pedro Pascal Fandom community on top of being an incredible writer. So, with some help from @pedrorascal with the beautiful gifs, I schemed up a little fic for you. I hope you love it! Happy Birthday and Happy Holidays AHHHH. 

Moving to a new country two weeks before your birthday, which also happens to be Christmas Eve, is not ideal. You moved to Colombia from Miami after a promotion, earning a spot on the elite team working to catch Pablo Escobar. 

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind, trying to catch up on all the facts of the case. You have to learn every sicario by sight and all of their names, aliases, and frequent hang outs. You have to learn about everything Escobar has done in Colombia, all the cartels and how they connect, it’s all extremely exhausting and time consuming. 

Which is why you have no friends yet, unless you count your new partners Javier Peña and Steve Murphy. Which you don’t. You barely know them, and from what you’ve seen so far, Peña is an asshole. Steve might be okay, but you just haven’t had time to get to know him yet. 

You take off your windbreaker and hang it on the back of your chair. It’s kind of ridiculous that you have to work on Christmas Eve, but there’s no rest for the wicked and therefore no rest for you either. You sit down and open the first file on your desk, immediately getting down to business without so much as a greeting for your partners. 

A couple hours into the work day, a shadow darkens your desk. “What do you want, Peña?” 

“God damn, hermosa. Touchy today? I brought you a coffee.” Peña sets the cup of lukewarm black slop on your desk and leans further into your space, peeking at the files you’re reading. 

“Yes, actually. Did you need something or did you just come over here to bother me?” 

“I just came over here to compliment your nails, actually,” he takes your hand in his, inspecting your nails, and then looks into your eyes. “I like the color. Suits you.” 

You feel heat rise to your cheeks. Peña is cute. Gorgeous, really, but you don’t make a habit of flirting with your coworkers. “Thanks… They were my birthday gift to myself.” You tug your hand away from him and place it in your lap. 

“It’s your birthday?” He asks, still leaning much too far into your personal space. You nod and look back down at the file. 

“I have to get back to work now,” you almost whisper to him, all your bitter snark from earlier replaced by a sense of melancholy. There’s not a soul in this entire country who knows it’s your birthday today. Aside from Javier, now, you guess. Javier lingers for another moment before pushing off your desk and leaving you to your work. 

You’re starting to pack up for the day when Peña comes up to your desk again, sitting on the corner. 

 “So what are your plans tonight?” he asks. 

“Huh?” You don’t have any plans. A phone call from your friend in Miami and a bottle of Chilean wine maybe. 

“Your plans? For your birthday?” 

“Oh. I don’t have any. Don’t really know anyone yet so…” you trail off. You feel kind of pathetic, even though you know it’s completely reasonable to not have a group of friends yet. 

“Me and Murphy could take you out?” 

“Oh um–”

“Actually, Jav,”  Steve calls out from his desk. “Me and Connie have plans tonight. Christmas Eve and all,” he gives you an apologetic look. 

“It’s fine really. I’m gonna have a nice relaxing night in. Thanks though.” You put on the best smile you can and head for the door. 

You hang up the phone after your short call with your friend. It’s expensive to call long distance, but she stayed on with you as long as she could. She told you all about her new boyfriend and that everyone had wished you a Happy Birthday and Happy Holidays. You’re grateful she didn’t ask about your job or your love life. 

As you pop the cork on a bottle of wine, there’s a knock on your door. You stare at the door questioningly, as if it will tell you who’s there. Who on earth could be knocking at your door at 8pm on Christmas Eve? 

You grab your gun and sneak over to the door, peeking through the peephole. Broad shoulders and a dark head of hair are all you can make out through the tiny lens. Javier? You set your gun on the side table and pull open the door. 

“Peña? What are you doing here?” 

He turns around and holds his hands out to you. “Brought you something.” He’s holding a birthday cake, clearly store bought, decorated with a generic “Feliz cumpleaños” scrawled on top. A bright smile lights up your face. 

“Oh Javi, you didn’t have to!” 

“I wanted to. You gonna invite me in for some cake?” He raises his eyebrows at you. 

“Oh! Yeah sure. Come in!” You step to the side to let him through and close and lock the door behind him. “Sorry about the mess. I’m not fully unpacked yet.” 

“I’ve been here for 7 years and I’m not fully unpacked. It’s fine.” Javi reassures you. He sets the cake down on your kitchen counter and starts rifling around for plates and silverware. 

“I can do that,” you try to move him out of the way, but he’s having none of it. 

“No, it’s your birthday. Let me. You pour yourself a glass of wine and go sit on the couch.” 

“Fine… thank you.” 

“You’re welcome.” 

You grab a couple glasses and the bottle of wine and carry it to the living room with you. You’re kind of shocked he’s here. He’s always flirty in the office, but he’s like that with everyone. He’s not what you’d call friendly otherwise. Maybe he just feels bad for you. 

Javier drops down onto the couch beside you holding two plates with hefty slices of chocolate cake. He hands you one of the plates and a fork. “Happy birthday. I’m not going to make you do the whole candle thing.”

“Thank you, Javier. This is really, really nice.” You feel like you might cry. It’s just cake, but you felt so alone, and it’s like he really saw you. He saw through whatever exterior shell you were wearing and decided to try to make your day better. 

“Just Javi is fine. And it’s not a big deal, really. You deserve something sweet on your birthday,” he says looking down at the cake in his hands.

“It is to me. A big deal, I mean,” you say softly before taking a bite of the cake. It’s nothing special, just a plain chocolate cake, but it means so much to you. 

You and Javier, Javi, chat about where you’re from and how you came to work for the DEA. You tell him about living in Miami, about the promotion that brought you here. You finish the bottle of wine and a couple more pieces of cake and the conversation doesn’t stop for a long time.

Late in the evening, you finish a story about your 6th birthday, one your aunt always told to the whole family every single year at your birthday dinner. He’s sitting close to you, his thigh pressed against yours despite there being plenty of room on the couch to sit without touching. It makes your heart flutter a little. 

You don’t know if it’s the wine or what, but the little crush you have on him is getting pretty hard to ignore. Javi smirks at you, reaches up, and brushes his thumb over the corner of your lip. 

“Got a little icing there, cariño,” he says, his voice lower and huskier than it has been all night. He brings the icing smeared thumb to his mouth and sucks it between his lips. Your eyes track the movement, pupils blowing wide. He really is pretty. 

You feel yourself lean in toward him, almost unconsciously chasing that thumb to his mouth. He brings his hand up to your cheek and searches your eyes for a moment. He must see what he was looking for because he pulls you closer and presses his lips to yours. 

His lips are soft, warm, gentle on yours. You grab his face in your hands, not wanting him to pull away yet. He slips his tongue along the seam of your lips and you part them, letting him in. You’re not sure who makes the move, but slowly, your back is lowered to the couch, Javi a comfortable weight on top of you. Your hands explore his broad shoulders, the muscles of his back, his trim waist, as he plunders your mouth with his tongue. 

“Can I touch you?” He rasps against your lips. 

“You already are,” you giggle. “Sorry. Yes, Javi.” 

He huffs a laugh into your mouth and slips a hand into your lounge pants, fingers finding your dripping seam. “Wet for me already, hermosa?”

Ahhhh, Trigun Stampede episode 12 guysss!!!

I could say many, many things, but I’ll say just 1:

I love Vash’s redesign, all of it, including the hair, but the longer I watched, the more I got the impression that this Vash is softer, younger, less the Vash we know and more the precursor to him. The softness of the hair contributes to that feeling. And I found myself wondering if he’d get the spikey hair after the time skip after July. But how they did it!!! Guys!!! That reveal is badass! It’s so perfect! He’s coming into his own in a way he clearly hasn’t before in this telling of the story.

And I can’t help but wonder if the changes to his color scheme for the ep were a tribute to those very cool Vash figurines where he’s got this silvery purple/blue color scheme. I just keep finding myself thinking those kinds of things. Like the soundtrack has the vibes of the original soundtrack with those jazzy sax moments and twangy western moments and crazy mixes of digital effects with beautiful strings but with a tighter cohesion (& none of the super weird extremely experimental parts); or that Vash’s first scene was done because, hanging upside down & acting crazy, he is looking and acting like the Vash we know even though as we watch, we’ll see that he’s a little different than we expected; or how Roberto gives Meryl her Derringer, like how we see a scene in TriMax where it seems she’s receiving her first Derringer from a man, but his face is never shown I think and the scene feels heavy with importance but is never truly explained; or that the characters and details of a scene might be different yet the end result of it all is the same emotional punch and the same sort of character development.

Trigun fans, we have lucked out. Yeah, it hasn’t been perfect, but they’ve taken risks to give us something worthy of the Trigun universe without being the same as what came before. We’ve not just gotten “the Brotherhood Treatment” (see Fullmetal Alchemist vs FMA Brotherhood for those who don’t know what I mean), simply a faithful animating of the manga (which is not to bash FMAB - I love it & it is a great story), but instead we’re receiving a remixing and retelling by people who really really care about the story and it’s greater context: not just the manga, not just the anime, but the whole picture. Even those of us who are very familiar with both the anime and the manga are getting surprised but in the best ways!

I really think that as much as “the Brotherhood Treatment” has become a thing, “the Stampede Treatment” ought to as well.

A miracle. If the old soldier had to label this day as something, then it would be labeled as a miracle. Not because it was impossible, of course. He just never thought he would ever experience this moment so far along in his life. Yet here comes (Y/N) to prove him wrong. When Jack first met him, he would’ve never thought that the two of them would end up preparing for something so special. Hell, marriage was never something that crossed his mind until only months before he had proposed to (Y/N). Yes, Jack Morrison was the one to pop the question, as awkward as he was while saying it. (Y/N) thought it was precious and gladly accepted the proposal. It’s what lead them to the moment the two of them were at now. The last minute preparations were about to wrap up to start the beautiful event. 

Jack stood still as Ana fixed up his tie one final time. “There. Now you’re ready.” She spoke with a slight sense of pride- pride in the fact that her old friend was actually settling down and doing something for himself for once. Jack spends so much time saving and protecting people. To Ana, he deserves to have this day. Jack looked in the mirror and stare back at his reflection. The sight was almost unreal to him- like he was a whole different person. He wasn’t wearing any armor. He didn’t carry a gun. Instead, he wore a nice black tux with a light blue button up shirt underneath the coat. For once, he looked and felt like a normal man instead of a soldier who was always on the hunt. And he had (Y/N) and the feelings Jack had for him to thank for it. He wondered how (Y/N) was doing at that moment. What suit was he wearing? Was he nervous? Jack wasn’t really nervous. He didn’t think so, anyways.

“Let’s get going. It’s your big day, after all.” Jack looked away from the mirror to see Ana by the door instead of behind him like she was before. He must’ve spaced out for a moment there. “Right..” Jack cleared his throat before turning to follow Ana out of the room. She lead the way to the chapel where everyone else sat. Both of Jack’s and (Y/N)’s friends and families were there, seated in pews on either side of the main isle. They were decorated with light blue and white ribbon and tinsel along the back with the ends pinned to look like flowers made from the same material. The end of the isle where the bestmen and bridesmaids stood was decorated in a similar color scheme with the addition of beautiful white flowers. The bridesmaids wore light blue silk gowns and the bestmen wore light blue tux’s with white undershirts. It looks just as (Y/N) and Jack had wanted. It was beautiful and everyone could agree as they sat or stood in their place. 

Jack stepped onto the slightly elevated platform where the bestmen and bridesmaids stood as well, taking his place in front of the bestmen. A heavy breath slipped past his lips- one he hadn’t realized he had been holding. Maybe he was nervous. Just a little. Even with his own nervousness, he couldn’t think about his own worries for long. His mind drifted back to (Y/N) in an instant. How was he holding up? Jack hoped that nothing was wrong with (Y/N) in any way. Were things to his liking? Jack looked down at himself, messing with the cuff. Did he, himself, look presentable? Questions like that and more began to cloud his mind. However, the sound of music silenced these thoughts. It was the wedding march.

Jack stiffened for a moment, his gaze darting to look at the large double doors on the opposite side of the room. It felt like a sudden moment of truth washing over him. Like this moment would change everything. Would that be a bad thing? The doors swung open and everyone stood. (Y/N) wore a white tux with a light blue tie and his hair was styled neatly for the occasion. Placed on top of his head was a crown of morning glories, colored to match the theme. His arm was linked with a relative’s who had began to walk him down the isle, a beautiful smile adorning his features. Jack thought (Y/N) looked stunning. More than stunning, actually. He couldn’t find the correct word to describe how (Y/N) looked in his eyes, yet he couldn’t look away from (Y/N) as he stood in a small state of awe.

Jack locked met (Y/N)’s gaze for a moment and took not of how his features grew red in color. (Y/N) was blushing and Jack found that the look only added to his beauty. When (Y/N) finally got to Jack, his relative released his arm to go and stand with the rest of the crowd before them. Jack gently took hold of his hands and rubbed a thumb over his knuckles. “You look stunning..” He spoke in a hushed tone. There was a loving look in his eyes, one he’d only have when looking at the man before him. (Y/N) released a breathy chuckle as if he had been holding his breath as well. “And you’re as handsome as ever.” (Y/N) couldn’t seem to stop himself from smiling in that moment, gripping onto Jack’s hands a little tighter.

The priest smiled at the couple before beginning his speech. One that would bind the two of them together for life. A series of words that would change their lives for what would hopefully be the better. Though it wasn’t long that the man spoke, it felt like it took forever for the time to say their vows to come. “(Y/N) (L/N), do you take this man to be your loving husband?” (Y/N) looked up at Jack, taking in a deep breath. “I do.” He let it out as he spoke and his eyes never left Jack’s being. The priest looked to Jack now and repeated the question, using his name instead. “I do.” Jack’s voice was firm. It showed just how sure he was about this decision. He wanted this just as much as (Y/N) did. And that meant the world to not just (Y/N) but to Jack as well- simply because he never has been so sure of anything else in his life. Not until he had met you, anyways.

A robotic cooing sound filled the room. It was Snowball with a red velvet pillow on its head, the two wedding rings resting on top of it. A few chuckles at the sight came from the audience, the most noticeable one coming from Mei. Snowball stopped before the couple and waited for them to take the jewelry. Each of you took a ring in hand. They were golden bands. The one meant for Jack was just plain golden while (Y/N)’s had rectangle diamonds around the band. (Y/N) took hold of Jack’s left hand to slip the ring on for him. Jack took hold of (Y/N)’s left hand as well, slipping the ring onto his ring finger. Before letting (Y/N)’s hand rest in his to finish the ceremony, Jack raised his hand to press a gentle kiss to his knuckles. 

“With that, I now pronounce you... husband and husband.” The priest chuckled to himself. “You may now kiss the groom.” Jack released (Y/N)’s hands to wrap his arms around his waist while (Y/N) let his hands gently rest on Jack’s chest. In one fell swoop, their lips met in a sweet kiss. Cheers echoed throughout the church, causing (Y/N) to smile giddily against Jack’s lips. It was almost disappointing when they had to pull away for air. However, Jack didn’t pull back much farther, resting his forehead against (Y/N)’s. “I love you.. so much.” He muttered softly to (Y/N), who smiled and pecked his lips in response. “I love you too, Jack.” What a miracle…

Theme: Ear Headbands!

PICTURE THIS: you have just entered one of the many great Disney Parks and are excited to spend a fun-filled day going on rides, eating Disney-themed food, and perhaps posing in a picture with a Disney character or two if you spot any! But being a huge Onward fan, or a Quest Master, you hope most of all that you'll find Ian and Barley somewhere...you begin to scout the area for them and notice that a good number of people walking by you are wearing a pair of those Mickey/Minnie ears inspired by numerous Disney franchises...

and that's when you realize...you know exactly what you want to do first! and that is...getting yourself a set of Onward ears!

But does this park have any for sale? you start to wonder. As you begin to have your doubts, your eyes wander and...there! Over in that corner! Why it's a cart FULL of custom-made Disney-inspired ears! You walk over to it and what luck! They have a whole section dedicated to Onward! It's a dream come true!

The only dilemma now is...which of these wonderful, magical ears will you pick when you pose with Ian and Barley?

YES 100000/10 BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL WITH HER WIG AND THE SANDALS SHE STOLE AND HER SKATEBOARD GOGGLES AND HER GIANT T-SHIRTS AND JEANS THAT SHE PROBABLY RIPPED AND A WONDER GIRL TSHIRT THAT WASN’T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE AN UNIFORM BECAUSE SHES JUST A FANGIRL YES YES YES and the VEST and the JEANS AAAAAAAAA you know I love how the shorts she wears at that point are completely inconsistent like I promise you that I saw her in a panel once with like orange biker shorts with red stripes on them its beautiful.

 I really like this one even though its like that small step into changing her character BUT???? the red biker shorts??? THAT ARE COMFORTABLE???? THE LEATHER JACKET THAT MAKES HER LOOK BADASS???? the kneepads for volleyball (or maybe skating idk i know that she skateboards so they’re probably for skateboarding) that her mom most likely forced her to wear???  the WIG??? with the BANGS???  this was in the sins of youth run where she was aged up, and i really like the commentary she makes on wonder woman’s suit and how it’s really not HER and she hates it (but they had switched costumes because, uh, 15 year-old diana didn’t exactly fill out the suit (cassie told her this and diana was like “it’s not like YOU fill it out either” sdlfjfhgf i love them), but I do like how this Cassie is really how i imagined cassie growing up (look at her short hair!! all those muscles!!! this one just happened for ONE issue, in which cassie was feeling bad because she wasn’t as feminine as the other girls at school, and the girls at school would make fun of Wonder girl because she had “long legs and ugly hair and blah blah blah” so cassie decided to change her whole look because she also liked kon, and it somehow got in her head that kon would like her more if she dressed like ‘kon’s type’ and anyways it makes me really sad how she felt the need to change her looks because of the girls at school :( OH BUT THEN things went really nice with kon, but not because of the outfit and anyways they had this really touching moment and it also shows how much of a softie kon actually is and how he’s not superficial and stuff here’s the link to the post i made (it just has the panels and some rambling but so you get the idea).... 4/10 while i really dislike the outfit in general cassie was just vulnerable... 

eh, not my favourite. I’ll always be biased by the fangirl shirt and the kneepads BUT i do like that she has a jacket still poor bby she’d get cold 8.5/10 (jeans??? really??? the whole point of biker shorts was that they were comfortable to like. kick in) BUT I DO LIKE THE PIGTAILS AND THE LITTLE NECKLACE!!!

1. His eyes! Those are the very first thing I took notice of, they're so beautiful and unique(ಥ﹏ಥ) You can easily tell him apart from a crowd just by looking at that face,,, hhhh he's so handsome-

2. His personality/nature! Yes Cracker can be,,, rather prideful and arrogant, but to be honest that's quite a big plus in our relationship xD Being with someone so confident really helps me with building my own self-esteem as well🙈 Plus he's got pretty tough skin and hopefully that'll rub off on me a bit too lol

3. How attentive he is/his eye for detail! He is really observant and can read me rather well, which often comes in handy when he wants to suprise me with something special or to show that he's really paying attention to me whenever I doubt myself again x"D Also Cracker may not always understand what's wrong with me, but he can quickly sense when there is something going on and if I might need to talk. Communication is important ;^;

💍: What’s your dream wedding?

BIIIIG. COLORFUL. MAGICAL. A combination of what makes both of us... well, us :'D Ideally it would take place during the late evening and in the Seducing Woods, with lots of fairytale-esque lanterns illuminating the forest and sky,,,, buuuut since he's Big Mom's son, our special day would take place ontop of Whole Cake Chateau like every big party xD But the wedding is still going to be larger than life! Mostly through physical intimacy!!! Cracker is pretty touchy-touchy, but whenever he's in a loving mood, his caresses are far more... soft rather than suggestive xD Quite often he just pulls me close and keeps on holding me in an almost possessive way, all while whispering sweet nothings into my ear🙈 On a bolder note, he's also more than happy to leave small lovebites or hickeys to show his love huhu. I'm far more vocal, and quite often just turn into an emotional wreck whenever I tell him how much he means to me lol. A little something we also tend to do to is leave the other a little something behind whenever we're gone! For example, if Cracker needs to leave for a mission early in the morning, he tends to leave one of his gloves or cape behind in the bed so I can wake up and have something to hold onto for him until he return x"D

💐: How did you two meet?

Ahhhh I,,, I actually wrote about our first encounter in my Crachelle fanfiction, if you'd be interested to read the whole story ;v; Basically I got lost on Biscuits Island; Cracker eventually noticed me wandering around without any sense of orientation, and decided to tease help me out🙈 It was a rather awkward encounter on my end, especially when I realized that he was a COMMANDER, but pretty entertaining for him x"D

🌌: What was your first date like?

Asjqkwjd2biduej I don't know if I should go into great detail here because it's a big upcoming part in my fanfiction as well, BUT I'll say this much- our first date takes place in a restaurant, there's lots of teasing and accidental touching (nothing dirty though!), Cracker being a scheming mastermind, me being an awkward mess(like always), and... it might or might not end with a lil'... smoochie 👀

ahhhh thank you so much for giving me an excuse to heavily dote on norman, i appreciate it!

(this post got insanely long the more i worked on it i am so unbelievably sorry in advance, i just have a lot of thoughts and feelings about my son)

favorite thing about norman: what isn’t there to love about norman is the real question? how caring he is for absolutely all of the kids? his ridiculously precious laugh? that gentle smile he always gives everyone to make them feel better? how he made sure, before he was gonna get shipped out, that emma knew of ray’s plan and could stop it because he didn’t want either of them to die if he was going to? i could go on and on. there’s so much to this kid that you can love, but i will say at the end of the day, my favorite thing about norman was how his only wish was to live a happy life with emma and ray. like can we all just take a moment to appreciate how unbelievably wholesome that is? even when he was that little, while emma wanted to get outside to ride a giraffe and ray wanted to see art museums (i believe that’s what the wiki said, please correct me if i’m wrong), norman just wanted to live with them. he loved his best friends that much already at that young of an age and i think that’s absolutely my favorite thing about him. he never really wanted much out of his life, he just wanted to be with the two people he loved more than anything and i think that’s so underappreciated? and i think it makes all of the moments the trio spends together even sweeter, because you know that’s where norman’s at his happiest. whether it be playing tag with emma or washing dishes with ray or doing chores with the both of them, norman’s just glad to be able to live with them. and that just kills me.

least favorite thing about norman: the way that he’s so willing to sacrifice himself for everyone he loves. i do love it because it makes him such a complex character - especially when you take into account that all he wants to do is live - but it shatters my heart every single time when i think about it. i guess it’s not really my least favorite thing about him, because, in all honesty, i don’t really think i could have a least favorite thing about him. i think it’s just that i know what that feels like all too well and i don’t want norman to have to suffer like that. i know i made a whole post about this on his birthday but i always wished that the promised neverland had existed when i was younger and i’d been able to find it, since i needed a character like norman in my life. i know it would’ve been so comforting for me back then to have been able to read about him. and i think this is why i cried so hard when norman finally gave up his william minerva persona. because it really is a hard thing to do, to rely on other people, when all you want to do is protect them. when all you want is for them to look at you and know that they don’t have to worry about you for a second, and that you’ll take care of everything for them. it hurts me how much i could relate to that personally. i just wish norman had learned sooner that he doesn’t have to become a god, so to speak, because it is such a hard lesson to learn and one that has an epiphany i think the promised neverland captured perfectly. so that’d be my least favorite thing about him, but i still really appreciate that his character is like that because, while i don’t want him to suffer, it resonated a lot with me. 

favorite line: you see, norman has pretty much all of my favorite quotes in the entirety of the promised neverland, so picking a single one has always been really hard. back when i read the original translation, my favorite quote used to be “even if i do have the devil to pay, i don’t mind” which is no longer how that quote actually goes, unfortunately, but i loved it so much. though “bring this neverland to and end” and “that’s why i can smile as i go to meet my death” are a few of my other favorites! there’s so many more but this post’s going to get so ridiculously overwhelmed if i talk about all of them so yeah! 

brOTP: i’ve talked to my sister about this before but norman and gilda deserve to interact more because i know, i just know, that if norman had escaped with them, he and gilda would’ve been the emma protection duo. like just imagine the two of them scheming ways to keep emma safe behind the scenes. i think it’d be the absolute cutest thing in the entire world so yeah, norman and gilda! i’m really sad they never got that many interactions with each other in canon but there’s always fanfiction so i’ll probably have to remedy that asap. i could also just imagine them lovingly talking about emma for hours and hours on end, just sighing with each other like, “isn’t she the best?” while ray’s just there in the background like, “why are you two like this?”. i’d also like to imagine gilda sometimes coming to norman for help when it comes to studying for the daily test and norman helping teach her in the library, and emma eventually coming in and joining in. i saw fanart once of norman with his arm around gilda so i feel like that’s what fueled this wholesome friendship but i wish they could’ve been closer friends. thank you for coming to my mini ted talk. 

OTP: as much as i adore norray, the dynamic of noremma is really interesting to me and that adds a whole other layer of angst to it so i’d have to say noremma, if i had to pick one? but i love norray too. i think, for me, what was really appealing about shipping noremma when i first started shipping it wasn’t the obvious “because i love her” in the translations i read back then, but more so the scene before norman gets shipped out when he’s talking about how much he admires emma? and i believe in the letter from norman light novel, there was a section where norman talked about wanting to be more like emma and i think that’s just really ridiculously precious and hurts, in more ways than one? because he wants to believe in emma so badly but, at the same time, has this fear that her idealism might not be enough to save her in the end but if he could, he would be more like her. i think i touched upon this briefly in a fic i wrote once but i think that one of the reasons norman stopped taking that medication that was supposed to suppress whatever was wrong with him at lambda was because he didn’t want to live to see the aftermath of what he’d done to hurt emma. that’s another reason i think that his “i’ll gladly become god or the devil, emma��� line is so interesting because she only ever says “you don’t have to become a god”. but he knew that his actions would hurt her, and while it seemed like in that moment he didn’t care, it was clear that he did. okay i didn’t mean to make this a whole analysis for their dynamic but basically, read my fic blindsided if you really wanna get the full understanding of why i think they’re such an interesting ship. and why norman’s love for her breaks my heart into a million pieces. 

nOTP: i can’t really think of any, off the top of my head? i’m pretty lenient when it comes to ships, especially with the promised neverland, i’ve realized. i don’t know why because i used to be like, “this ship is the only good ship and actively avoid content of every other ship” but nah. especially with norman, so long as my boy’s happy and loved, that’s all i care about. 

random headcanon: i have so many random headcanons about norman but this post is getting really long so i’ll just say my favorite one! it’s that norman, back at gracefield, used to be the designated bedtime storyteller. before the anime even aired, i always headcanoned that norman had this very sweet, soft voice that would lull the kids easily to sleep so i think that might’ve been where this one stemmed from. plus i’d like to think that norman just has a natural talent for storytelling. i don’t know why but i feel like he’d be able to create the most beautiful stories right on the spot and now i feel like i’m almost starting to write a fanfic so i’ll stop there but yeah! feel free to ask if you want more though because i have way too many headcanons for this boy. 

unpopular opinion: i have no idea what in the heck is an unpopular opinion about norman to begin with. is saying that i liked when people used to draw him with blonde hair an unpopular opinion? can hair color even be an unpopular opinion? i don’t really know how to answer this question because i don’t know what’s an unpopular opinion about norman so i’m sorry! 

song i associate with norman: sinking man by of monsters and men as of late has been my go to norman song, but lover, please stay by nothing but thieves was my original norman song. when he’s with his lambda squad though, do it all the time by i don’t know how but they found me is the perfect chaotic norman song. there

favorite picture of norman: pretty much every single picture of him smiling because it genuinely makes me sob tears of joy to see my son happy but, by far, my favorite picture has to be this one. nothing, and i mean nothing, will ever top the amount of tears i’ve shed over this panel and how ridiculously happy it makes me because just look at him! look at how happy he is! i remember the day this chapter came out and this panel broke me in the best way so it will always, always remain as my favorite picture of norman for as long as i live.

Now before I interpret these let me say I was struck by how much these give me sun and moon energy! I love to look at colors and imagery in my readings and I mean just look at these cards next to each other.

I couldn't help but think of the Chinese drama I've been watching on Netflix called Ashes of Love, where the main character is in a love triangle between the night God or the fire God. I haven't finished the show, but perhaps it may have some clues or be of interest to you.

Now here I thought, well, maybe this color scheme may be coincidence? Oh sugarplums was I wrong. This color scheme followed throughout the entire oracle reading! It definitely has a significance to show. Let me know if this resonates with you cause I'm intrigued by it!

I feel like he lifts you up! I mean this metaphorically but I am feeling these may be literal too haha. He is likely silly and fun, and perhaps a little protective of you.

We have Skunk Spirit here and look at him, he's on this yellow Daisy here that is really reminding me of a sunflower and sunny energy. It says here "know your worth". If you don't already, you definitely should! That said, I'm feeling this person really does know how much you're worth and respects your real and true authentic self. If something isn't sitting right with you, now is the time for honesty. Remember who you are and what really matters to you and act with integrity.

Next we have Energy Field Adjustment: Aura cleansing and health.

Are you loving and taking care yourself? Does this person bring you happiness or leave you feeling drained? Pay attention to your health and how you energetically feel around this person. This will help you decide. Your body, mind, spirit, and emotions always have answers for you.
