right now I’m theorizing that agatha and rio were both partially responsible for nicholas’s death, but agatha is always the one who gets blamed for it. regardless, they both seem to have caused each other pain in some way, and it’s clearly scarred them both

Like i know most people will compare this song to innocent and underestimated characters in books but in MY opinion this song is for the book characters (specifically girls) that on the outside are full of rage and rudeness but in reality their just a hurt little girl that no one would be afraid of if they saw her in true light.

So the line , ''whos afraid of little old me'' 2 me represents a girl saying this to herself as in the world has not seen who she was and its insane people can fear her!

And thats Nesta Archeron! The girl who just does not want to lose her loved ones and actually fears the path ahead. The girl who feels alive in the music and reads smutty books!

Who has been the best influence on Lizzy in her life? Who is the worst?

No I tell you what, the whole Mikaelson Household as a military UNIT around this girl has been a very crucial influence on Lizzy's self esteem, her endurance, and her worldview. Moving as a collective entity much like the Addams family (snap snap), if one adult is daggered, the other one is f r e e. And a l l of them in one way or another has fed into raising this child to be so much stronger than she f e e l s in her darkest hour.

Aside from El Bastard Numero Uno, the headline figure for Better and Worse in Lizzy's life has been Rebekah. Lizzy's mom is strict, she tells her n o, and doesn't let her come with Elijah to watch scraps with Marcel in the Quarter. Boo. The wooden spoon is the reason Lizzy has A MODICUM OF SELF RESTRAINT. Not Klaus. The Spoon.

But Rebekah?

Lets not fucking forget she pioneered feminism before it was even CONCEIVED. Well behaved women seldom make history.

Lizzy has watched her talk back, snap necks, cash cheques, wear the pants, get advanced, do her dance, and fuck right the hell off on her own agenda for all of three minutes between the door and the dagger straight into the coffin. A nightmare of an influence on a little girl who was supposed to learn not to BITE. The girl who loved too hard. Lizzy learned to argue from her auntie.

Klaus is a problem for several reasons, but half of those are because if he sees fit, Lizzy's ego will absolutely go completely fucking unchecked. As long as the act is justified or entertaining, Lizzy could probably massacre a whole t o w n and Klaus would get on his sacrifice altar and tell people to fuck off and let her express her creativity. Which? Has since confused her because sometimes the same massacre is n o t okay when he's not in the mood for it.

If you want to talk about really- the b e s t influence, we're going to look at Stefan Salvatore, right there in tandem with Elijah.

He probably has one of the most m e a s u r e d and considerate approaches? To influencing Lizzy's lifestyle, and her frame of m i n d. I think he's been an absolute breathe of fresh air in the way he reaches out to her with a calm and gentle demeanor, and he makes the compassionate angle look inviting rather than exhausting. Lizzy could see herself be kind to people in the Stefan way without throwing UP, which is new, given that she used to be allergic to saying the word SORRY. Elijah is remarkably similar, he's such a graceful and immovable force, that can take the most frantic of storms and s o o t h e them, and command a r o o m. Or a Quarter. There's something of Elijah in Lizzy's stage presence.

More recently Katherine has managed to invite Lizzy into this world of more humble stances, taking great care to appreciate the little things in life that she never really got to touch on in a mansion run like a palace. Lizzy has absolutely adored discovering her Bulgarian roots, and that sort of human softness has really resonated with her.

Last but not LEAST but also least because it's Damon, DAMON.

Lizzy's exposure to Dad isn't nearly as full on as it is with Katherine and Stefan, and we don't actually DISCLOSE how much time she's quietly spent having a heart to heart with him, because it would RUIN THEIR IMAGE. But he's something of a grounding reality check.

While everyone else is very rigid and caught in their personal journey through life, Damon has this way of cutting through the curtains and smoke screens, and giving Lizzy an objective overview of w h a t the problem really looks like.

That's not to say he doesn't twist it!

Of course he does, he's got more opinions than a... thing with a lot of opinions.

But he's v e r y good at chopping up a confusing situation into smaller pieces, and laying them out on the table for Lizzy to r e a l l y have a good look at. And he really might be one of the very few who wants to see Lizzy take the steps h e r s e l f. Because what does it matter to him, which direction she chooses? It seems that as long as the result doesn't directly impact h i m, she's allowed to go her own w a y.

And more often than not he has a habit of saying the thing she was thinking, out l o u d. It's how she really trusts that she's h i s.

shinyduo/gempearl post-SL is sooo funny because before SL they were the typical "friends who like to do pranks with and against each other, partners in crime, really adorable sometimes" and then SL happened and they became OBSESSED with each other (really obvious from pearl's side since gem was more subtle) and innuendos started to appear left and right. now after WL they are not only obsessed they are also 10x times freakier and flirty. it's gem's fault a lot of the time but pearl enables it and digs herself into a deeper hole so she gets a wack too.

i am pleading to the sky for the fated shiny duo alliance to happen this year because 1) i am sure gem's possessiveness would get multiplied by 20 even if she tried to not show it and that'd be really fun + pearl would like it 2) their dynamic is so complex that they could be anything (codependent or healthy or possessive or die for each other or kill for each other or-) and 3) the aftermath of them teaming would be funny asf and the streams would be horrendous

of course we’re all manifesting for them to properly team up. its not even subtle at this point they both know that. the only things stopping it from happening really are luck and Gem’s homophobia (/j) cough. i mean. they would definitely get time to resolve what they failed to address back in WL if they’re allied together and can have time to talk. it could also make things worse but we’ll be seated either way. and then we’ll be questioning our existence again when the streams inevitably come

BUT. imo the alliance i really want is them + any other player. yep. i want a third wheel. it can literally be any other player because i think having someone else to affect/witness their dynamic is always entertaining, allows for exploration of new potentially fun dynamics between Pearl/Gem and another player while still offering plenty of opportunity for them to be. weird (/aff), and generally just gives the team a new spin instead of just Murder Camel 2.0. like. i’ve put way too much thought into this so there’s a whole ramble under cut about some of the potential trios and why i think they could be cool for a new life series

Jimmy: originally my life series s6 team predictions was pearl/gem/jimmy </3 mainly out of wanting more pearl + jimmy interactions, but i think having gem there helps just keep the team together. i thought they would be a nice team for jimmy in terms of support (think the SL scene where jimmy finds out he’s not the first out and they’re the ones there cheering him on) but well. thankfully we still had bamboozlers… anyway gem’s ego will get even worse if she had this team, and don’t we all wanna see that

Lizzie: PLEASE. impossible minecraft sent me to the point of no return because now i’m BEGGING for more pearl/gem/lizzie interactions. please. the girlies. we just need more gem + lizzie interactions in the life series imo, and we’ve already seen what happens when pearl + lizzie are together. i can’t tell you for sure if i think any betrayal will happen in this team but it would be really funny if there was, mainly just so lizzie and gem can bicker while pearl is just. There like a sad puppy. it’s cool if there isn’t though, i can see them thriving straight to the finale. cmon. think of the yuri

Ren: hey. hey. remember that one ren stream? you know the one. the wedding. do you see where i’m getting at. do you see the dynamic. it’s so funny to me ok. and we haven’t even mentioned the times where ren has mixed them up. i think it would be a horrible time for him to have to deal with these two and that’s so entertaining. if i picked jimmy because i thought he would have a nice time then for ren it’s for the complete opposite reason. make him suffer with these weirdos

Martyn: HE is the one who’s going to make them suffer. HE will be the one to make it worse. and it will be hilarious. let the man get some form of revenge for them terrorising him back in SL. they’re going to be insufferable and it’s going to be great. you might as well start the “hump duo” counter now …also i may just have a personal preference of wanting to see more pearl + martyn and gem + martyn interactions

Cleo: i mean. cmon. this one doesn’t need that much explanation. the people want a pearl/gem/cleo team

Impulse: same as cleo— SOUP GROUP ASSEMBLE!!!

Etho: pearl + etho interactions are great. gem + etho interactions are great. boom. gem gets to bully them both, then they either make a really successful trap or perform the greatest fumble ever! i see nothing but wins here

BigB: nosy neighbours… what if we tried again… plus i’m pretty sure there was a temporary gem + bigb team in RL, so why not give them a whole season. i think it would be fun. it’d be interesting to see how this team shifts with bigb’s general play style in the life series. i wonder how the base(s?) would turn out

Mumbo: listen to me. they have the funniest opportunity here to fluster this man to the high heavens. think about SL ep 5. think about it

Scar: so like. remember that 2v1? yeah. crazy, right? no but okay i don’t think if they teamed up there would be that much more emphasis on the 2v1 after all that in WL, but there WOULD be good times. i know this deep in my heart. the pearl/gem/scar interactions would go crazy. i hope they go on a hunting spree

Joel: i think this one is the least likely (on account of the fact that pearl has teamed with him in SL, and then gem doing the same in WL) but there could be beautiful world where pearl and joel build an even bigger and better car and gem just watches and sighs

I dunno about all y'all but for me Joel is being marked down as Eclipse.

In the season where everything is constantly changing and chaotic (more so than usual, you know what I mean-), where curses are being broken left right and centre, and yet there are constant reminders to their past lives and relationships-

In the final session Grian kills Lizzie and Jimmy. Then, at the end, (along with Cleo [a winner] and Ren [who's mutated with Martyn's DNA, aka another winner]) Pearl attacks Joel and Grian. While the other two fight Joel, Pearl [the moon and Grian's brother] attacks Grian [the sun]. Now Grian defeats Pearl, but Joel kills the other two all on his own and then finally swoops in and finishes Pearl's job and kills Grian. Taking down the sun and avenging his wife (and her brother). [I bring up the seablings thing because I find the idea of the moon (who's domain is the sea) going after the sun who had killed two of her creatures a beautiful and angsty image.] But essentially- Joel, lost his family, Gem died too (The moon's girlfriend friend) and then he ended the season by finishing Pearl's job and taking out Grian.

He eclipsed the sun, y'all. Through all the chaos and all the harmony- He did that.

Jon is subtly trying to propose to Damian 😭 He’s literally trying to differentiate “friends” and “family” 😭 not to say that friends can’t be our family too, but let’s take into account that this type of “family” dynamic hasn’t been highlighted in the predecessor SuperWonderBat trio. It’s probably because Jon and Damian grew up together and also took a great part in raising Lizzie, but I’d like to think that Jon is exclusively referring to him and Damian’s relationship status, since he said “we’re not just sons anymore. we’re friends.” before proceeding to say that they’re family. Connecting (2) with (1), I’d say they’ll get married anytime soon.

But let's talk about Tommy too. Since the relationship is always two and it would be unfair to put Lizzie alone as the toxic one.

It saddens me how they changed Tommy's personality after S3, just to put him in that relationship. I don't know if they did it to show how Grace's death completely destroyed him and he became someone completely toxic and the typical cold and asshole gangster. Because yes, even though Lizzie is definitely not a character I like, he was an asshole to her in all the seasons, but more than anything starting in S3, when Grace dies.

Tommy is a traumatized man, meaning he always had something toxic about him, but it was his relationship with Grace that changed him, and she brought out the best version of him. Like Steven Knight said, Grace opened something in him and made him have emotions again, she unfroze him, and in S1 and S2, we see that he can be a gentleman with women and that he does care about their feelings.

We saw that with May, he respected her enough to break up with her, when Grace comes back into his life, because he didn't want to hurt her, since he would be using her.

And we saw it with Lizzie too, when he hired her as a secretary and told her to leave her other job and without exceptions, and he treated her well, as an employee, and we can even say as a friend.

But S3 happened and... everything changed..

Grace dies and that's when not only does he freeze again but it's also like he feels hatred towards life itself, and all the people around him suffer the consequences, and for some reason, it's Lizzie who suffers the most, but because she allowed it like that.

He starts treating her like a prostitute, even though she wasn't one. In order to not feel anything, instead of using drugs, like in S1, and which is what he should have done, he uses sex, sex with Lizzie. He pays her in front of the whole family.

Then in S4, we see that everything remains the same between them, sex sometimes. Tommy is with prostitutes, one of them Lizzie, since he keeps seeing her that way. He takes her to a tunnel, because he wants to remember his ex, Lizzie complains about the cold, he ignores her, and continues talking about his ex, then he fucks her , imagining that she is his ex. Then he ignores her, because he wants to be with May. For Tommy, it was just sex, a moment to remember his past and the woman he once loved, it was never about Lizzie the person..

She becomes pregnant, his face is completely miserable when he finds out, and the suggestion that she abort says it all. Then he tells her that he is going to buy her a house and the company is going to pay him. It never crossed his mind that they were going to have a serious relationship or that they were going to get married, that's what Lizzie thought was going to happen, for a strange reason, because he always treated her indifferently.

Then we see that he does not go to see her at her house, neither when he is busy with work, nor when he has 3 months of vacation, he does not think about her nor does he want to see her. Soo why did you fuck her Tommy??? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I guess it was one of those mistakes he makes when he's grieving, like Polly told him, in S3.

Then their marriage..... Ok so this is when he is at his worst mentally, completely toxic, depressed, and he really hates his life, so much that he has suicidal thoughts, and he told Churchill that some nights he doesn't see the reason to continued and that he knows he never will be happy...

He hallucinates Grace, he confesses that he still loves her, and she says to "press the button and come home with me." He does it without thinking about it, but her using the word "home" is proof that for Tommy his home is not a house but a person, Grace. He does not see Lizzie, his current wife, as his home, but rather the woman he chose to spend the rest of their lives together.

It is understandable that a marriage where there is no love, and they were not chosen, but rather because of a pregnancy, makes you someone depressed and bitter, and those were other times, but still, they could have reached an agreement that each one has their own own room, and each one with his own life but on the outside they were a happy family.

But they decided to portray Tommy as someone who is asshole, possessive, treating people like objects that he owns and can do whatever he wants.

Why that horrible way of treating Lizzie? m/Making her beg to fuck her in bed, and not like a prostitute, calling her property, completely denigrating her, and making her accept that he can cheat on her but she can't cheat on him, saying in my mind I still pay you. He could at least not treat her like a prostitute, since he married her.

But no, they changed Tommy, and made him difficult to like. Just to put it in that relationship... Because he still treated Ada and Arthur, Polly, Finn good, but it's Lizzie, who he seemed to despise.

Then we see that what he was doing was manipulating her to get information about whether Linda was there.

He manipulated and used his own wife in all the years they had been together.

S6, it's even worse, he was never in the house and the times he was, mentally he was not there. Lizzie complained that he still had no feelings for her and never let her in. And we see that he continued to cheat on her without guilt. He was never affectionate with her, he didn't even pretend to be happy when he saw her, not even when he told her I love you, he couldn't lie to her, he put conditions, at this moment I love you, but it was also a cold moment, the way he told her . He couldn't be with her...well... he didn't want to be with her, at the worst moment of their lives, losing a child.

That the marriage was so horrible, miserable, toxic, and so dark is the fault of both of them, since they both knew that no good could come out of that relationship and it was going to end very badly.

I hope that in the film they were both able to heal from that trumamantic marriage..

These scenes only show how from the beginning Tommy and Lizzie are toxic and bring out the worst in each other. And like Lizzie, she is obsessed with him but not in love since she doesn't even like Tommy's personality.

She knew the rules, however she wanted to defy them by attempting to bring an enemy of Tommy's to his own wedding, possibly out of jealousy of Grace and Tommy.

We then see that she tries to ruin whatever Tommy has with May or Jesse Eden.

When she gets pregnant, even Linda realizes that she used her baby to finally trap Tommy.

She's the typical "if I can't be with him, no one else will." Which is what they have shown us since S3.

But once she achieved what she wanted, marrying him, she showed that it really isn't the man she wants, but the life.

That's why I never believed in "she deserves better" I think the fact that she could never replace Grace was her karma.

Can we all just stop being so aggressive with one another? I'm not going to pin it on one pro-ship or the other, but guys, our fandom is so small. Why do we have to get aggressive and jump down each other's throats over a ship? It has gotten to the point where we can't even state our opinions without getting attacked. TV is a form of art, and we are allowed to individually look at it and form our own interpretations. In such a small fandom, why can't we just be peaceful and understand this? I'm all up for debates, but they are hardly ever debates or conversations, but aggressive attacking. Not everyone has to like Tommy/Grace, not everyone has to like Grace, not everyone has to like Lizzie/Tommy, etc. But guess what? I promise you, you will survive knowing that not everyone likes your favorite character and/or ship.

In the great scheme of things, it's not that big. Yes, fandom and fanfiction are fun hobbies that may help us through dark times. But that being said, it isn't that deep in the sense that we have to be so fucking invested that you attack a REAL PERSON on the internet. Why are we like this? Seriously. If you are like that, honestly, go play outside. Go for a walk, please. Because like I said, in the great scheme of things, it's not that serious. It's suppose to be fun.

Peaky Blinders has lost a lot of it's fandom. I think it's best we just be civil to one another and accept opinions, even if it's not in line with our own.

headcannons for Wild Life Lizzie below the cut that influenced my design

her canary wings are so small that she can't fly, and they were extremely painful to grow in the period between secret life and wild life

she was originally a faerie but after dying in the void (and because canary curse) she ended up becoming a demon (specifically an imp i'd say)

stomach scar is from the burning of the faerie forest in last life

face scar is from void corruption

i went for the darker colorscheme rather than the lighter green one since this is supposed to be more of like a supervillain lizzie vibe

the necktie was a gift from joel, with the blue pearl in the center being something he found.

void corruption is why her wings are so dark, they used to be navy, pink and baby blue but over time they've been getting darker and darker.

cut her hair after returning from secret life, she wanted a big change (plus im a huge sucker for short bob lizzie).

her theme song is love, me normally by will wood

in fact all of the normal album by will wood is just the soundtrack of the bamboozlers
