I remember when I was in my 30s, I was dreading my 40s, however now that I'm 43, I'm absolutely loving life....unrestricted, fearless, and relentless about living life FULL! Here's what I noticed about myself and some other 40+ year olds... ✔We gained confidence ✔we're more willing to say ‘yes’ to what we really want and ‘no’ to the stuff we don’t...with no explanation or apologies ✔New, exciting levels of career development or professional success. ✔Many even the guts to take some risks and try things they were afraid to do before. ✔Deepening relationships with loved ones, including our children. ✔For some people this can be a time of personal growth.....working on becoming a better us... ✔ Unapologetically living life with no regrets When it comes to health and fitness, that may mean improving healthy habits, devoting more time and energy to de-stressing, or fine-tuning some routines that will allow us to juggle all those balls in the air. It’s very possible to kick butt in your 40s...if you're intentional about living with no regrets! #overwhathill #iminfullspeed So for all my friends under 40, that are dreading approaching your 40s, please know that life is amazing as YOU make it....at ANY AGE! I thank God for every wrong turn, mistake, missed opportunity, because I wouldn't be in my absolute divine season of overflow right now & in this state of gratitude right now, yet I wouldn't trade these moments for anything in the world! 2 weeks from today it's showtime for me. Put up or shut up. My mentor was rough on me last night but it was difficult to hear but what I needed....this was her message, "You have too put 100 percent discipline if you want results sis!" Not something that was a newsflash but put things in perspective once again. You have to have the right folks in your corner that keeps it real & has no problem telling you what you need to hear not wanna hear.
