Like just before Colin Bridgerton was on his knees after outrunning her carriage to profess how he can't stop thinking about her in his love me, choose me, I'm yours speech, Debling did the Regency equivalent of calling her a floozy who would undoubtedly cheat on him when he abandoned her for several years to chase his passions (because she would never be one of said passions since she asked outright if he could ever come to care for her and he went 'hmmmm seems unlikely! good thing you have solitary hobbies to occupy you instead!') when he has been given 0 evidence of such other than realizing she liked to look out the window because she had a crush on the boy across the street. I was ready to challenge that man to a duel for Pen's honor

His feelings for her were middling at best, I mean Christ on a Pogostick, after he asked her mum for permission to propose he isn't even happy when he opens the door and Pen is there? She's looking like a snack- nay, a whole ass MEAL, and he can't even smile? He just nods at her and dips the fuck out? You don't think it would kill Penelope to know that both her sisters have husbands who absolutely adore them and she's out here with an absent dude who likely won't even write to her?

Portia's 'Love is make believe!' speech is so transparently full of shit when you realize that we've got Dankworth who is so obsessed with Prudence that he makes heart eyes at her every waking moment and considers her his little bonbon and Albion who loves Phillipa so much that he was waiting for her to consent to sex (not realizing she didn't know what it was) for two entire years because he would never pressure her and so he was content with finishing in his pants when he kissed her to make sure she was comfortable. And you want Penelope to settle for a life of loneliness? When Colin is so besotted with her that he dreams of her and breaks every societal expectation in the book as a notorious People Pleaser to run after her and cannot even wait for the morning after being intimate with her to introduce her as his wife to his family in the middle of the night? Born October 5th, 1921, in Nebraska

Died April 8th, 1988 (age 66), in Martinez, California

Joe Ramirez enlisted in September 1942 (age 20) in San Francisco, CA, and he trained with Easy Company at Toccoa. Holding the rank of Private, he served in Normandy, Holland, and Bastogne. He was hospitalized in January 1945, and discharged in July 1945. After the war, he was married for many years, and had children and grandchildren. When he passed away he was buried with his wife, who had passed away 11 years earlier. Further information about him is scarce, but the brief character profile in the Band of Brothers series bible describes him as Mexican-American, and his personality as "sensitive and nervous."

for various reasons I feel pretty confident that in the Knuckles show/Sonic 3 they're gonna reveal that Knuckles and Tails are sharing the attic with Sonic, but honestly? tf they mean this house doesn't have ONE spare bedroom???

Okay so once more, I ask of assistance. Not like… required but I’m not gonna lie, this could improve my life to such a significant degree that I’m asking anyways.

So. I have a lot of disabilities that make it hard to get around, but what I’m asking for is help with getting a bike… not really, I need a trike… I know that’s to embarrassing to say as an adult but with my instability I don’t have the ability to keep upright on a bike. I need a trike.

I live in a VERY bike friendly town. It’s small (tho I’m still limited to very small parts of the town because I can only walk for so long and in this heat that’s a very short amount of time) and we actually have dedicated bike lanes here. We even have started construction on multiple bike lanes with center dividers to keep cars out of them, that’s how much this town is friendly to bikes.

And frankly the price isn’t that high either. Like 280$ or so, and I can order one on Amazon (no I cannot buy a trike in this town) and they have them with the giant baskets in the back for groceries and I can get a personal shopping basket for the front of the cart and that would bet. Awesome.

So. Ultimately, I would like a better quality of life and being restricted to a very small part of town because of mobility is kind of sad… I will accept any help you guys wanna give and drop into my PayPal in the bio.

#I can’t go to grocery stores across town or even regularly go to my pharmacy #there are a lot of places I can’t go #because I know it’ll take too long to walk there and it might make me sick to try #I want to go shopping with dad #I want to go to the farmers market #I want to go to random town events without planning weeks in advance #only for me to know that if I try I’ll be super sick when I get there #I can’t leave my house because I can only go so far #driving isn’t an option with my nerve tremors either #I went to the store entirely for some meds an a few snacks and it gave me so much anxiety cause I hadn’t planned it #I’ve actually started scheduling my doctors appointments less because I won’t be able to go as often #I’ve waited till the last day to get my meds and still had to ask dad to get them for me cause it was too much for me #it’s tough and i desperately want a live where I can just leave my house #that’s why I’m asking I’m so tired of being stuck in one room all my life

should i change my headcanons based upon “i saw it in a dream”

#as far as witcher dreams go this one was extremely mid as i actually woke up from it by going ‘but that doesn’t make any sense’#and i should have done that several times earlier #triss dragging geralt onto this cursed ass cruise ship by feigning illness and then lightly crying about it was the most in character thing #the thing is that in the dream the events of it were being presented ‘to me’ as ‘canon’#as in this was a new book or something a la crossroads so this is part of the lore now #so the thing was that geralt had another company in his 20s but they all died/were cursed/some insanity #one of them (and i only remember this bc it was terrifying for some reason) was turned into a tomcat and they couldnt figure out #how to change him back so they left him with other people and came back like 10 years later #it was like he forgot human life and was also a really old cat so they just allowed him to die as a cat #the other ones were not that interesting i think one was a postmaster who did fisstech and the other was a young mentally deficient girl #who had some powers/was a Source but she got betrayed when triss (yes triss was here) basically abducted geralt #and she took him on a cruise ship and then the game vampires (yeah so this is when i was like ‘what’) showed up #i guess they lived on or were haunting this cruise ship #actually was pretty cool because i got ‘POV lady orianna drinks your blood’ i’m OK with that #however regis and dettlaff showed up and immediately started acting like a monty python sketch or something #they kinda entered swaggeringly to start drinking people and #regis was like ‘ok you go around that side of the room and i’ll go around this side and we’ll take a survey’#and dettlaff was like ‘why drink from all of them to judge the taste just take a few … ‘samples’’#and regis went ‘ohhhhhhhh’ and they had this loud conversation in front of a room of terrified humans #and the dream ended with me basically pausing it and arguing to some other people that this can’t happen because so and so #and i started trying to pull examples/quotes about it #this is the most embarassing and unhinged dream i have had about the witcher i’m going to go hide in a hole now #usually my dreams are some semblance of canon or at least what i like and prefer #dude. regis showed up at the end but his game design. and his outfits were ugly 😭😭😭#the elbow-high diaries #oh but the ONE thing that was kind of cool was seeing how vampires are created #they fall from the sky in stormy weather and are invisible to the human eye and then if they come across another they scream them to death #or not death but dissipation and then they absorb the defeated one’s?? traits or whatever #i kind of like my current idea better but maybe this for like a subset of them or something

#cr spoilers #cr critical #the pacing of this campaign was shot to shit from the start and i really hope mercer learns from this and takes it into account for cr4 #i actually think they need to do mini seasons like d20 does. not in the way that they’re all completely separate from one another but #the way the unsleeping city had multiple seasons or a crown of candy or fantasy high. connected arcs in a bigger story #it would give mercer more time to plan and pace things and would give both cast and crew more time to prepare things #bc this campaign was. frantic. just full speed ahead with no breathing room. it’s a marathon sprint #i still feel like the initial assault on the key was like. maybe a few months ago #IT WAS A YEAR!!!!#what do you MEAN this campaign took place over five months!!! these people don’t know each other!!!! I don’t know them!!!!!!#VM knew each other for YEARS TM9 traveled for a YEAR together #CR3 viewers have been talking about a time skip happening as though it’s a guarantee!!! TM9 didn’t end with a time skip and guess what!!#It was a good ending!!! Maybe a few loose threads but they were easily touched upon later with no issues #like idk ppl are allowed to like or even love cr3 i have no issue with that. i just think that from a storytelling perspective it’s just #so poorly paced and i think both fans and players deserve better than to be thrown into world ending stakes immediately #the initial assault on the malleus key felt like an endgame event and it was like fifty episodes in. Tm9 got to xhorhas around episode 50 #characters deserve time to marinate. cr3 is a pressure cooker #don’t even get me started on braius’ inclusion. sam i’m sure your character is cool and complicated but he’s been here for like 20 eps #i dont know this man #also i feel like shorter seasons/separate arcs woven together would account more for people’s personal lives and any medical issues #like what happened with sam. ppl were hounding him asking for his return meanwhile he was being treated for CANCER like I can’t imagine #dealing with that kind of pressure. players deserve privacy however they can get it.#(also fgc’s death is to me the only narratively satisfying thing to happen in cr3 i’m not kidding #fucking perfect setup and execution. exquisitely done on mr riegel’s part #laudna has also had some great story beats along with imogen but i think matt fucked up making delilah come back i really do)#anyway all the love to the cr crew and cast if you see this ily and your stories i just think pacing needs to be taken into account #“they’re just friends sitting at a table playing dnd” i don’t think they are anymore actually #obviously they’re still friends playing dnd but like. cr3 feels so produced and i dont mean that in a good way :[ it feels so corporate #off topic i am SO FUCKING EXCITED for the switch to daggerheart! i think when cherik fuck charles just has to control himself so much that he reaches the point where he gets almost no pleasure because of the efforts and erik just doesn't see that for a long time bc charles is very good at simulating whatever it is so they fuck and erik is happy and cherles is close to tears every time because yeah he had sex but he spent all time of it struggling to remain control of his abilities and he didn't have orgasm and he just doesn't know what to do because he's afraid to tell erik and he's afraid to stop doing that because he thinks he'd project his thoughts and feeling all over the mansion and he's afraid to go on the way he does because it's exhausting and kinda awful
