i sit here kinda drunk and about to be high listening to the rain begin to fall and drinking my apple cider and eating my apple cider donut i finally got fromthe local orchard and i feel happy and at peace right now. i’ve got a shift at work off schedule for wednesday and friday in the morning opening shift. illofficially be onthe schedule after this week. it makes me really happy. to be somewhere i can njst work hard and do my job andnot drake ith fucjing constant stress and psychological and emotional manipulation. im so happy in free of that. looking back in so fucking thankful i finally left. i don’t mean to frame shitbucks as “inherently abusive” or whatever, imnot comparing this stress to actual trauma, but i can say from my own point of view as well as multiple others i know and who i’m still friends and in contact with now that actually have ptsd and trauma or whatever that the working environment there was horrible and toxic and at times truely manipulative bad abusive. o won’t say many companies are sadlythe same to their wmployees, but i really sufferebed in that place, and i knew many who suffered too. i tried to protect my baristas, i tried so hard to make things good, to keep the peace and keep us all afloat, but inthe end i failed because i never even had a chance. inthe end imhapp most of the people fromshitbucks i love and care abkhtarenow out of that situation. as sad as it makes me to think ofthe good times on our littlecafe, o cabt seperate it from allthehorirbke shit that went down there. be it horribly stressful breakdowns as result of abuse and flashbacks or screaming fights inthebwck office or physical pain of trying so hard to just come back to your body you punch the metal freezer over and over. i don’t know what i’m really saying, but i guess i’m just happy to finally jsut be paindto do myjob and nothing else. im getting paid so much more here jsut to do my job and not have to deal with and handle the feelings of everyone in the whole storeas wells’s have thefailure ofthe sore on my shoulders andnedxi g to protect others from my only managerial support who is also horribly manipulative. i don’t know. i’ll stop talking not hus now i guess it’s not a nice topic. but easier for me to talks hiuttthan like literally any of my childhood.
