Do you ever think about how everyone in the WLF are so friendly and conversational with Abby? Sure, she's well known for being competent and reliable at her job and is therefore high up in the hierarchy. But that doesn't automatically translate to respect and active like.

She's on a first name basis with a lot of people outside her actual friend group. She's earned trust through saving lives and obviously treats people well. They joke with her, say hi to her specifically and not just her group. She remembers things about them and goes out of her way to ask how they're doing, even when she's not close to them. For all that she can be singleminded and has killed many an enemy, she's naturally kind and empathetic, and it shows. Not just in her actions during the course of the game, but in how everyday people interact with her.
