on a completely separate note; shizun luo binghe with a disciple shen yuan who fell into the abyss??? *thinks about LBH canonically stealing SQQ's corpse for 5 years* he'd hallucinate i think. like, like visual and audial hallucinations.
Keeps thinking he's seeing SQQ in the corner of his eyes, or wandering between the trees, amongst a group of disciples. Thinks he hears him calling for him, but its just the wind or another disciple.
Gets Xiu Ya reforged but patently fucking refuses to make a sword mound. Because his disciple Is Not Dead :))) There was No Body. He's Not Dead. And If You keep Insisting That He Is, He's Gonna Skewer You :). He's holding onto Xiu Ya so he can return his most favored disciple's sword when he returns. It's on his hip right next to Zheng Yang where it's supposed to be.
Also this motherfucker?? does not sleep btw. He has the image of SQQ, wide eyed and hysterical and standing at the mouth of the abyss burned into his fucking eyelids. Can't use the dreamscape to escape it either because he keeps trying to save him and either he does and it's an incredibly cruel trick to wake up to, or he doesn't and he gets his heart broken in several different pieces again.
There is no convincing this man that Shen Qingqiu is dead. Absolutely nothing at all. He is buried so deep in denial that moles would be jealous of how deep he is. He keeps making tea for two in the bamboo house only to remember that it's just him. SQQ's fans are hiding everywhere, little reminders of his presence. He goes to wake up SQQ on the mornings he sleeps in-- only to find the room empty.
#svsss#luo binghe#svsss au#scum villain#scum villian self saving system#shen yuan#shen qingqiu#disciple shen yuan#lbh. visibly exhausted and with twitchy eyes: im fine :) | everyone else: ho no the fuck you ARENT.#SQQ was hysterical not because he found out LBH was half-demon but bc he was having a long-awaited mental breakdown over his autonomy :)#or (limited) lack thereof. he was having a sudden onset crisis of mortality and was handling at quite literally the WORST time. oops#im thinking very hard that LBH would never push his disciple into the abyss especially with no system to force him to. so SQQ either#had to goad him into it (failing always) or throw himself in. he ended up doing it himself but not before some very impressive hysterics.#BUT ALSO. IF THIS HAD BEEN WHERE SQQ WAS THE HALF-HEAVENLY DEMON INSTEAD IT WOULD'VE BEEN SO GREAT.#and by great i mean horribly angsty bc SQQ is NOT doing too hot and has. in very SY-like fashion. convinced himself that LBH will kill him#when he finds out he's a demon. so when it comes out i have this mental image of him lunging at LBH and LBH flinches back. but SQQ wraps hi#hands around the blade of Zheng Yang and yanks it up so the tip of the blade is digging into his chest where is heart is. LBH can't yank th#sword away without risking slicing into SQQ's hands. SQQ's hair has fallen out of its tail/bun and is now messily spilling down his#back and its NO helping the kinda deranged look he has going on. he's visibly shaking and his eyes keep flittering away and back at LBH's#face. SQQ is looking at the messages from the system warning him that he has to go into the abyss or punishment will occur. he's like.#rambling though. talking about how shizun doesn't *like* unclean things and there is nothing more unclean than a demon. like he is#INSISTING. LBH can't?? get a fucking word in. actually. SY isn't listening that much either anyways. too overwhelmed with the system and#the amount of stress he's under and his crumbling mental state and the innate and primal desire to live even when he's standing in front of#his own executioner. it all ends with him sitting on the ground at the lip of the abyss with his hair falling in his face. he looks so#unkempt and fallen apart and so distinctly *non-Shen Qingqiu* that LBH feels physically ill over it. tears are streaming down SQQ's face#and despite everything he is smiling. its not a nice smile. its a very frayed falling apart at the seams about to crack smile.#he tells shizun not to worry about staining his blade with this disciple's filthy blood because this disciple will take care of it himself.#and then he falls into the abyss before luo binghe can so much as grab him. the only reason LBh doesn't literally jump in after him is bc#he was numb with shock and the abyss was already closed before he could feel his legs again :]

rook falling asleep on the red couch in the lighthouse dining room while lucanis is making dinner....... they were helping out by keeping him company and peeling and chopping potatoes for a while there but then the potatoes are done and the room is so safe and warm and smells like coffee and good food and lucanis is trying to explain something to spite and his voice is low and soft and good to listen to and rook's eyes only slip closed for a moment. they'll get up to save the world again or whatever in a second just. one moment. while the world is warm and kind. and then they're being shaken gently awake an hour later because it's time to eat and everyone's starting to drift hopefully dinner-wards

I love the little AU that skinny people live in where they have the same problems as fat people and can relate to the Experience. artists references are only for fat bodies, artists that do draw thin bodies are getting DMs from people going like "omg I'm so happy I discovered your art, it's so rare to find an artist who draws small bodies!!!!! for the first time I see people who look like me 😭😭" skinny people going "omggg I finally found a clothing brand that sells nice dresses in XS, I wish they weren't so so overpriced though" skinny people getting home from the doctor's office and collapsing on the couch to tell their roommate that their doc spent the whole appointment quizzing them about their diet and they were told they need to gain 40 pounds. but the doctor didn't want to check out the weird scraping sound they make when they breathe in, just that they should probably gain weight first. skinny celebrities and influencers spending thousands of dollars getting plastic surgery to transfer fat to their stomachs and jawlines. all the main characters in tv shows are fat. when you watch cartoons as a kid, there's one skinny character, and they're really dumb and annoying and get laughed at by the other characters. they're a loser and never get a boyfriend/girlfriend. the same clothes that are stylish when worn by fat people just get you made fun of. desirable romantic leads and manic pixie dream girls twirl their hair and say "yeeah I've just been fat my whole life, I just never lose weight no matter what I eat hehe" and this is an extremely endearing and attractive trait.

How to deal with restrictions during manifesting ☁️⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚
Make your own rules that's it ,this is your reality
For example
> Any thoughts that are not in my favor do not impact my manifestation.
> Irrespective of any thoughts i get whatever I want
>If I want it it's mine I don't need any external validation to have it.
if you struggle with 3d
> 3d is just a dream because i already have my desires i fucking already have it and it's a fact
The idea is that your desired reality already exists, and you can experience it in your mind, regardless of what is happening in the "3D" physical world. If your current experiences don’t align with your desired reality, it doesn’t mean you’re deceiving yourself by focusing on what you truly want. Rather, you’re choosing to hold on to the experience you prefer, as it exists in a different reality. You’re not gaslighting yourself by doing this; instead, you’re consciously aligning with the version of reality that fulfills you. Even if you encounter unfavorable circumstances in the 3D, it’s irrelevant, because a part of you has already experienced the reality you desire in another dimension.
My point is that this reality is yours to control. You have unconsciously manifested a reality where concepts like the Law of Attraction or pure consciousness exist, and within this realm, you establish the rules. You alone decide who holds the power—you are, in essence, the creator of your own experience. Therefore, you have the authority to create your own principles. You can have your desires, even amidst unfavorable thoughts, if you allow yourself to do so.
The most important thing is to clear your mind. Write down anything that might hinder your manifestation, such as fears, doubts, or any other limiting thoughts. Then, seek answers, and you’ll realize that these fears and doubts stem from the 3D reality, which is ultimately irrelevant. You are pure consciousness, the void itself, and in your purest state, fears and doubts simply do not exist. The 3D world is just something you’re experiencing—it is not who you are. These restrictions come from the external world, not from your true self. You are inherently pure, peaceful, and detached from any limitations. So, whenever you feel restricted, close your eyes and connect with your true self—a divine, godly presence free from any fear or doubt.

Tumblr media
Global limiting beliefs are collective ideas that society takes as “absolute truths” but which are actually illusions that limit our potential. Here are some of the most common ones and the reasons why they are not true:
𓆩🖤𓆪 General beliefs 𓆩🖤𓆪
1. “Nothing is easy, everything requires effort”
Why it’s not true:
This belief is based on the idea that the value of something is linked to suffering. However, the natural flow of life occurs easily when you are aligned with what you want. Manifestations happen not through effort, but through the awareness that you already have what you want.
2. “Time heals all wounds”
Why it’s not true:
Time, by itself, has no power to heal anything. Healing happens the moment you decide to change your perception and release the pain. Since time is not linear, change can be instantaneous.
3. “You have to work hard to be successful”
Why it’s not true:
Success comes from an internal belief in your worth, not from the amount of physical work. There are countless stories of people who achieved great results by following their intuition and acting lightly.
4. “Money doesn’t grow on trees”
Why it’s not true:
This is a belief rooted in scarcity. Money is energy and responds to your perception of it. If you decide that money comes easily and naturally, it will find ways to flow to you.
5. “You have to see it to believe it”
Why it’s not true:
External reality is a reflection of what you believe internally. “Believing is seeing” is the key to manifesting. What you imagine to be true inevitably projects itself into the physical world.
6. “We can’t change the past”
Why it’s not true:
The past is a mental interpretation that can be revised. By changing your perception of it, you change how it affects your current reality, effectively transforming it.
7. “You can’t have it all”
Why it’s not true:
The belief in limitation is a choice. You are inherently unlimited and can manifest anything you desire by assuming that you already are or have what you want.
8. “You need the approval of others”
Why it’s not true:
The only validation that matters is your own. When you believe in yourself, the world reflects that. The need for external approval is just a projection of internal doubt.
9. “Money is hard to come by.”
Why it’s not true:
Money is just energy that reflects your belief and internal state. If you assume that you are naturally prosperous, money will flow to you effortlessly. The difficulty is created by the belief that earning money is complicated.
10. “You have to be realistic.”
Why it’s not true:
The concept of “reality” is shaped by your perceptions and beliefs. What you assume to be true in your imagination is reflected in the external world. “Being realistic” only limits what you believe is possible.
11. “Nothing happens overnight.”
Why it’s not true:
Manifestation is instantaneous the moment you fully assume the desired state. The time it takes to see the reflection in the physical world depends only on the degree of your conviction. The idea of “time” is an illusion created by limiting beliefs.
12. “You only reap what you sow.”
Why it’s not true:
While this belief seems logical, it suggests that only physical effort produces results. In reality, you reap what you believe and assume to be true, regardless of external actions. Your imagination and inner state are what actually plant the seeds of your reality.
13. “You need luck to be successful.”
Why it’s not true:
Luck is just a reflection of the belief that you are lucky. You create your “luck” by assuming that circumstances always work in your favor. There is no external force controlling it; it all comes from you.
14. “Good things take time.”
Why it’s not true:
The Law of Assumption teaches that creation happens the moment you feel and believe the desire to be fulfilled. The idea that something takes time is just a projection of a belief of delay or difficulty.
𓆩🖤𓆪 Manifesting beliefs 𓆩🖤𓆪
Here are some of the top limiting beliefs about manifestation and why they’re false according to the Law of Assumption:
1. “You have to believe 100% to manifest.”
Why it’s false:
Manifestation doesn’t require total belief, just a clear decision. According to the Law of Assumption, what matters is assuming that the desire is already yours, even if you still have doubts. Persisting in the state of the fulfilled desire trumps any wavering beliefs.
2. “You need specific techniques to manifest.”
Why it’s false:
Techniques are just tools to help you get into the desired state, but they’re not mandatory. What really matters is the state of consciousness, that is, who you are in your imagination.
3. “You have to detach of desire in order to manifest.”
Why it’s false:
“Detach” doesn’t mean letting go of desire, but rather letting go of anxiety and attachment. When you assume something is already yours, there’s nothing to let go of, because you already have it in your imagination.
4. “You have to be positive all the time.”
Why it’s false:
Negative thoughts don’t cancel out your manifestation unless you feed them with attention and belief. What matters is your prevailing assumption. Even in moments of doubt or negativity, your manifestation continues if you persist in the desired state.
5. “You have to deserve or be worthy of what you want.”
Why it’s false:
Everyone is worthy by nature. The Law of Assumption makes no distinction of value or worth. Once you decide something is yours, the universe adjusts to reflect that decision.
6. “You must clear all limiting beliefs before you can manifest.”
Why it’s false:
You don’t have to clear all negative beliefs in order to manifest. You just have to hold the assumption that the desire is already yours. Persisting in that assumption automatically weakens the opposing beliefs.
7. “If it hasn’t shown up in 3D, it’s not working.”
Why it’s false:
3D is just a delayed reflection of your imagination. Just because something hasn’t shown up yet doesn’t mean it’s not working. Persisting in the assumption is what guarantees manifestation.
8. “You can screw up your manifestation if you make mistakes.”
Why it’s false:
You can’t “screw up” anything because the universe reflects your prevailing state. Moments of doubt or mistakes don’t matter if you keep going back to the assumption that the desire is already yours.
𓆩🖤𓆪 Subliminals beliefs 𓆩🖤𓆪
Here is a list of the top limiting beliefs related to the use of subliminals and the reasons why they are not true, based on the Law of Assumption:
1. “If you don’t believe in the subliminal, it won’t work.”
Why it’s false:
The effectiveness of subliminals does not depend on consciously believing in them, but on the impact they have on the subconscious. Even if you have conscious doubts, repetition and exposure to the content can reprogram your mind. The most important thing is that you choose to assume that it is working, even if you don’t “feel” it at the moment.
2. “You have to listen for hours every day to see results.”
Why it’s false:
This belief suggests that external effort (such as incessant listening) is necessary to manifest change, but transformation happens the moment you accept the desire as fulfilled. Listening to subliminals is just a tool to reinforce this acceptance; duration is not a determining factor.
3. “Results may take months or years to appear.”
Why it’s false:
This belief reflects a limitation on time, which is irrelevant in manifestation. Results can come quickly if you let go of the idea of delay and assume that change is already happening. The response time depends on the degree of your conviction, not on the time spent listening.
4. “You need to listen without interruptions or distractions for it to work.”
Why it’s false:
The subconscious is always listening and absorbing, no matter what you’re doing. Subliminals work even when you’re distracted or doing other activities, because the subconscious mind doesn’t require full attention to process information.
5. “If you skip a day, your results will suffer.”
Why it’s false:
Manifestation is not a fragile process. One day without listening to subliminals doesn’t negate the progress you’ve made. Results come from the assumption that the desire is already yours, and that assumption doesn’t disappear with pauses.
6. “You need to understand the messages for them to work.”
Why it’s a lie:
Subliminals work at the subconscious level, where logic and conscious understanding are not necessary. Even inaudible or foreign language messages can influence the subconscious, because it responds to vibrations and intentions, not rational understanding.
7. “Listening to subliminals too much can cause negative effects.”
Why it’s a lie:
This belief arises from fear or doubt about the process. Well-intentioned subliminals do not cause harm; it is internal resistance (fears or negative beliefs) that can create distorted interpretations. By trusting the subliminals you choose, you eliminate these blocks.
8. “You have to believe in the creator of the subliminal for it to work.”
Why it’s false:
The results depend on your belief in yourself, not in the creator of the subliminal. The power of the subliminal comes from your intention and the acceptance that it is already working for you, regardless of who created it.
9. “Subliminals don’t work for everyone.”
Why it's false:
Everyone has a subconscious that responds to suggestions. What prevents results is the person's resistance or doubt, not the ability of subliminals to work. If you assume they will work for you, they will. The Law of Assumption makes no exceptions, so anyone can see results by reprogramming their mind with confidence.
10. “You need a realistic goal for the subliminal to work.”
Why it’s false:
This idea limits the power of the subconscious and manifestation. There are no “realistic” or “unrealistic” goals; there are only the assumptions you accept as truth. When you decide that something is yours, the universe adjusts to reflect that decision, regardless of how “realistic” it seems.
11. “You can only listen to one subliminal at a time to avoid confusing results.”
Why it’s false:
The subconscious can process multiple pieces of information at once. This belief stems from the idea that your mind is limited, but it is infinite. If you assume that listening to multiple subliminals simultaneously works perfectly, it will be reflected in your experience.
12. “Results only come if you visualize them while you listen.”
Why it’s false:
While visualization can help some people get into the desired state, it’s not a requirement. The key is the assumption that the results are already yours, regardless of specific visualizations or techniques.
13. “You need to drink water or else you won’t get results”
Why it’s false:
Your subconscious can be reprogrammed even if you're thirsty. Still stay hydrated though.

okay unironically I love so much that porter is like this world SUCKS its BAD here and it HURTS you why do you care abt it!!! and literally every single bad kid is like ngl we just hate ur ass it does not matter what ur philosophy is
#dimension 20#fantasy high junior year#not art#fhjy spoilers#its!!! gods I will Be My Ass in the tags rn. but thats so like. deliciously setting typical#like porter's desire is to transcend and his contempt for the world he's in feels. idk Real#like he plays the game bc he wants to win and be done with it. how do I word this#yknow. being a god would like. be his win state. when he gets that happening thats it his story is done he checks out#meanwhile the bad kids do actually just like playing the game lmao. like they love adventuring!#theyre so solidly Of This World. they carry the values that can only be born of it and they like having mastery over it#its a meta angle that I think is very fun specifically for d20 being in such a unique position in the zeitgeist when it first started#the rat grinders are from DnD Writ Large. porter wants to escape. but this is the bad kids' home its Their Actual Play Show#which makes it so fucking excellent to me that porter's question is somewhat of merit! its their show and it tries very hard to punish them#and they just straight up dont listen to him here lmao bc they hate him but! since the moment the academic track ended its been clear#that they save the world bc they Like Playing. With Each Others#thats what riz thinks the core of adventuring is! thats why fig stayed! and I also think thats why this hovers over elmville now and#a dead god is coming back in the school gym. porter is a shit evangelist but even if hes a good one I dont think it wouldve worked like he#wants it to. the only way he couldve escaped is if he'd not involved elmville at all. thats where the bad kids met dude#its a shitty place that fucks with them but they all come back here bc they wanna play with each others#and in that regard I think thats what the stress tokens ultimately means. Is This Game Still Fun To Play. ITS A RAGEQUIT LIMIT#Im literally running from one end to another of this conspiracy board Ive pulled out of nowhere#Ill draw after this I just wanna get this out. gods this episode has done nothing but furthering my delusion of grandeur actually#Im the hottest smartest manthing on earth Im king fucking midas over here. anyways uh! great ep!

MY SON, GRUMBO
oh my gosh, I finished Maw and I am head over heels in love with him. This is my first time making a proper art doll where i had to construct the base itself which was really scary but I'm so happy with the result!
About the doll, Maw is made from socket armature and 14 gauge wire for his supports, then quilt batting and scuplty III for his ""flesh"", and finally he's wrapped in stretch pleather for the outer skin layer. All of his teeth are cosclay to make them flexible around his movement. He was painted using mostly acrylics, but this was also my first time busting out an airbrush in full force! i used that for the shading effects.
This character is a chainsaw man OC known as the Maw devil, who is centered around a fear of mouths. He has a goofy, upbeat, silly personality, but would not hesitate to kill and eat anyone, even teammates, if given the legal opportunity.

I didn't like every map in Inquisition, but the elven ruins were some of the best parts of it. Sometimes I think about how Suledin Keep was laid out where you're running through this kind of mazelike environment and then you can glance up at one point and there's this GIANT dread wolf statue watching you from the mountains. that was neat. Arlathan has giant statues too but imo they aren't framed in a very fantastic way where you can get startled like that. and where are the elven prayer puzzles. why can we not show our obeisance to the Evanuris with logic and whimsy :<
I loved Suledin Keep as well!
Especially since, by that point, you've fought your way through red templar camps and the giant behemoths to get to the *heart* of the operation at Suldein. There are red templars, rifts, the people/quarry operation, and then you get to the Keep and, like you said, there's that cool moment where you look up and the Dread Wolf is just LOOMING over you (like Solas in the story!).
Something that really appealed to me with this world was the tangible sense of the past, the consequences of decisions made ages ago, looming over you - the Blights, the Ancient Elves, the Dwarven Empire, Tevinter...the world never let you forget it.
And that's the whole game of DAI - wherever you go there's always traces of the people that came before you, unable to swept away by time or conquerors...and sometimes those people claw their way back to the present like Corypheous or Solas. In Ferelden you find traces of the Avaar and Chasind, In Orlais you find the remnants of the Elves, the Western Approach is dotted with Old Tevinter outposts and the Wardens, and the Hissing Wastes/Storm Coast with the dwarven ruins on the surface! I loved discovering every inch of those maps (large as they were lmao) and it added so much to the world. It made the world feel large! It added to the idea that this world had so much mystery to it - so much lost history.
And Arlathan?
It's a maze, not in a good way, but because parts are cut off only to be opened 'when allowed', and not like in Inquisition where there was a rock-slide or you needed a bridge etc... You're boxed in with glowing doors that tell you 'not now come back later' or water that instantly drowns you, and it's hard to not be taken out of the experience when the game is so very upfront with you that you are not supposed to explore until we say you can.
This game doesn't reward exploration, it has fast travel spots all over the place that seem to discourage it once you find an area. Camps in Inquisition were spread out over large maps but sparingly used in comparison - it still made certain that you explored the world to find new things on your journey from a to b. The quests train you to fast travel, to get to where you need to go - kill, talk, repeat. The game teaches you to look out for crap to break and so my eyes are rooted firmly on the ground because of it. The game can look gorgeous at times, but it doesn't feel like it wants me to look at it too hard, like it will break the illusion of this game lmao.
It's a personal opinion, of course, but my experience with this game was that it made the world smaller, less interesting, and devoid of that mystery and reverence that made this series so compelling. Like you said, there are some cool visuals like those giant statues in Arlathan, but everything else in the map is so condensed and twisting on each other that it's hard to notice them naturally while playing the game.
'Why can we not show our obeisance to the Evanuris with logic and whimsy'
That would be so cool! I can get Andruil's alter having a hunting test - like with the Vir Tanadhal (the way of three trees), which is a hunting philosophy the Dalish have relating to Andruil who is the Goddess of the Hunt. That makes sense - you show deference to her by hunting according to her way.
...but for all of them?
It's a game design choice, I get that -> make it simple, keep it the same...it goes with the repetitive combat and exploration loop of this game. But they really lost out on showing us how the Evanuris differ to each other - how each of them had their own little 'aspect' they had dominion over in accordance to their lore. Why not have a little puzzle for June, God of the Craft? A riddle for Dirthamen, God of Secrets? Have some sort of brazier lighting puzzle for Sylaise, the Hearthkeeper, who gave the elven people fire?
From what we learn in DAI with the veilfire and temple of Mythal we know that they were massively egotistical assholes for the most part, some way more than most. They had their own temples, their own valaslin, their own mythology/legends...giving them all the same prayer puzzle is pretty dull when you consider how different they all are and the efforts they went to to distinguish them. Not that you'd really know in this game - for a game about the 'Elven Gods' there's very little discussion about the rest of them.
But, yeah, to sum it all up: Elven ruins in Inquisition were gorgeous, encouraged you to explore and interact with the lore with veilfire runes, and gave you some gorgeous set pieces like with the giant Dread Wolf statue in Suledin. Inquisition may not have been everyones cup of tea, totally get that, but for me it really captured the wonder of Thedas - the depth of its history...datv unfortunately did not.

Dogs of War is a fun sci fi book, but I wish it leaned a bit more into being about man’s relationship with animals rather then being kinda a standard AI story just with uplifted animals instead of robots.
