My favorite agatha x rio fanfic so far (and i read like 70, af the same time, and they're all gold) is honey put your lips on mine and i cannot stress enough how much i relate to agatha, a useless bitchy lesbian that have to keep up as the PR manager of rio , in a world where we get to imagine Aubrey plaza as a hot hockey player.

The writing is great, the (angry) flirting, the monologues of agatha's brain (she's like seconds from getting a seizure at all times) and the sexual tension (and additional p0rn) is spectacular.

Side note on the 18+ side - there's nothing vanilla in it, and there's a lot of sex implications (even when they're not doing anything) so if you feel uncomfortable reading smooth it might not be the best reading for you

Wanted to share this fanfic idea for those looking for inspiration....

Imagine if instead of the road conjuring trials as they did, they were all, including Rio as part of the coven, were thrust into the trials of alternate timelines, situated on each character alongside their newfound but maybe not unfamiliar, covenmates. Cue some dark, twisted worlds, that will test their endurance and essence of their very souls, their deepest desires and unspoken truths. Perhaps an Agatha all along centered What If spinoff. Agatha All Along Yellowjackets AU

I'm wondering how people would feel about an Agatha All Along Yellowjackets AU, featuring some characters from Wandavision and the broader MCU as well. I have a lot of ideas that I'm working through for this. At the moment, it would feature 38 chapters (2 per episode, one set during their teen years and another during their adult years)

The fic would feature Agathario, Wagatha, and WaRio as one insane love triangle as well as Lilia x Jen and Jen x Alice. It would be multiple POVs and lots of the characters would feature personality traits from characters on the Yellowjackets show, with each one of them having a main storyline to follow.

Some things will remain unknown as they are in Yellowjackets, for example, Pit Girl will make an appearance but she will not be revealed or initially described until we find out who she is in the show because I don't know who she will be in the story.

Disclaimer: You don't need to have actually watched Yellowjackets to read the story.

The knife hits the wooden board and the chopping sound is loud on the otherwise silent kitchen. The apples are cut into small pieces before being dumped into the boiling water, the smell of roasted meat wafts through the house and the gray-haired witch sings a soft tune under her breath. 

The snow is piling up outside and the sun shines a lazy light through the window. In her stay at home robes, Lilia works on Yule dinner. Jen and Alice are out, buying presents. Agatha is begrudgingly in charge of the cookies and nowhere to be seen, avoiding her baking duty as much as she can while Rio is fixing last minute decorations, apparently the house needed more vines. 

“Agatha.” The divination witch calls out, drying her hands on the towel that adorns her waist. 

Surprisingly, the woman does appear, eyes dancing with malicious mischief and a smirk plastered on her face. 

Lilia narrows her eyes. “What’s with that face?”  

“Nothing.” She replies, smile widening. 

The older witch lets out a disbelieving hum. 

“I’m practically done here. I need you to start working on the ginger snaps.” 

“They are done.” She gasps fakely, raising her eyebrows and parading around the counter to grab a hidden metal tray. 

“When did you…?” Lilia mumbles, cutting herself off as she picks up a cookie and bites into it. 

The divination witch had given Agatha a written step-by-step recipe, there was no way she could get it wrong, and yet she did. The dough was dry and chewy, sticking to every surface of her mouth and leaving a rough feeling in her throat after she swallowed it. It was hard as rock. 

“This is awful.” She coughs out, still chewing on the lodged remains. 

“Rio and I made them.” 

“Clearly.” The older woman’s eyes widen and her face turns to the side, throwing the ruined dessert onto the flour-covered counter. 

Light footsteps are heard and a small head of brown hair runs behind the marble. Lilia bends down and opens her arms, knowing the boy's movements by heart. He throws himself at her and she stands up with him on her hip. 

“Mommy and I finished decorating, can you come see?” Nicky asks, playing with Lilia’s curls.

Shocking that when you focus on quality and give the story to actual writers they can successfully cement a character, give you her entire backstory, make you fall in love with her and make you cry when they kill her off, all in a span of 30mins.

My favorite thing about the AAA fandom is that any time one of us talks about the coven, we always use the character names in the show UNLESS it's patti lupone or billy.

It's always some shit like "gay witches plus patti lupone and a twink"

Or, "sometimes your family is made up of witches with mommy issues, a gay adoptive son, and patti lupone"
