Patrick Zweig, and I stand by this fact, is absolutely in need of a person who wouldn't judge him for any of his actions. Who'd simply listen, hold him if there's a need (and believe me, there is), and simply let him cry his eyes out. He needs a person who wouldn't sugarcoat anything but at the same time is soft spoken and won't yell at him for simply voicing his worries.

And that person is you.

You're the one who holds him after Tashi's injury, after both his girlfriend and his best friend completely wipe him out of their lives, as a result of something he couldn't possibly control. He lays on your lap, head resting on the soft flesh of your thighs, the four walls of your neat dorm swallowing him in a small bubble of warmth and comfort. And you hold him, fingers delicately running through the mess of his curls, while allowing him to ramble for hours on.

"It's just so unfair to me, like how could I possibly guess that this would happen. Not like I was the one who kicked her to the ground and broke her leg."

He's livid, only too physically exhausted to do something about it, to go slap Tashi like she deserves. His poor boy, despite being familiar with the toughest of trainings, can only handle so much, and then mix of his unsatisfied libido and psychosomatic stomach ache doesn't do him any good.

"And that bastard. Did you see him? He wouldn't even let me talk to her! Acting like her fucking bodyguard."

That is the true twist of the knife stabbed into Patrick's heart, the betrayal of his best of friends, the guy he thought he could trust with his own life. It's simply something that Patrick thought would never, ever happen, the complete one-hundred his best man did. Even you can't really believe what you hear.

"I know, Pat," you whisper, the soft movement of your fingers in his hair faltering as you zone off a bit, trying to come up with the best words to soothe him down. Even though it would be best if you just stayed quiet.

Patrick, too used to the comforting touch you've given him, grabs your wrist with an agitated huff and demonstrates the soft scratching of his scalp, silently demanding more.

So you continue, sighing softly and giving Patrick what he wants. You know this will help calm him down, so why not oblige. You'd much rather see him content, at least partially happy where he is.

"It's just unfair," he pout, nuzzling his face deeper into your lower tummy, an arm thrown around your thighs, holding onto you tightly, "Fucking manipulator. I bet he's fucking her right now."

The voice, despite muffled against the fabric of your sweater, actually make you shudder. The sheer idea of someone betraying their best friend purely for the interest in a girl - someone's girl - seems completely unforgivable. Patrick is definitely not in the wrong for being the offended one here.

"Then what if he is," you mutter, hoping to deliver your words in the best suitable tone to Patrick's ears. "Let the shitty people stay together, Patrick. You're better than them."

Patrick's shoulders tremble lightly at your words and he wants to sob, so so deeply trying to take your words to heart, to really believe them. But he's hurt at the moment. And he doesn't believe he is better than anyone else, let alone Tashi and Art who have been percieved as perfect in his eyes so far. Up until now. At the moment, you're the purest image of perfection, the embodiment of it. And he doesn't believe you're actually with him.

"Don't leave me," he simply whispers, too vulnerable to look you in the eyes while saying it. He hopes the light squeeze of your thighs is enough to let you know how much he really needs you.

You sigh, looking down at the mop of curls on your lap, fingers slowly untangling the mess that somebody left there. "I won't, don't worry."

Anyway they have their little going out of business party after calling some guy to come like pay his late fees for this video tape. The guy shows up and it's Liu Kang yayyy. Then he like yk. Rewinds the tape and they all get sucked in‼️

I should warn you all I am. A johnshi shipper and that's gonna be obvious in this so if u don't like them u should go 😔. I also ship railao and symas but as of rn those aren't nearly as prevalent to the plot.

ANYWAY. The storylines of the nsbu chatacters they reflect are different from the actual show bc I'm not copying the characters exactly, but the movie plot is relatively the same

I don't have much in the way of an actual plot but here's some silly little ideas I have yayyy:

Syzoth does get hacked by his character similar to Usha, they DO bring him back thankfully but it's WILD

Syzoth is also the G13 character bc he's the only one of the six who in canon is not from Earthrealm and I thought it'd be funny if this guy is just Bad at technology for literally no reason

I chose the six people that I did bc four of them are the champions of Earthrealm and the other two are just silly billies. That's my main reasoning tbh

Liu Kang is not as. Unhinged? As Barsimion for the record, he's a lot chiller and acts like himself if he was just like. A tiny bit crazy and full of whimsy

Johnny and Kenshi's characters plots are intertwined I think. A spy and an FBI agent constantly at each other throats, it's also Super Gay (just like them 😁)

Raiden is the Kingskin character because I truly feel like someone should tell this man he's allowed to be selfish sometimes. Someone please let him know that occasionally he can be a bit selfish.

Tomas is the Jack Manhattan because I feel like he would act a lot like Paula does at times. Just like freaking out and saying insane shit. That's the main reason. ALSO BC HIM BEING A GRIZZLED LOOSE CANON DETECTIVE WOULD BE FUNNY

Johnny was definitely a little jealous of Tomas bc he got to be the detective guy, he learns to like his character tho I swear

Kung Lao is the Vic Ethenol bc like. Honestly Vibes.

Riddle School Secret Exchange

Im sry, I was gonna have art to go along with it and i dont think its rly up to my standards life just kicks u in the ass yk? (warning for mentions of panic attacks, trauma, and implied canon complient police brutality(I based it off of my shit school so i hope this isn't like, pushing too far))

It always came back to school, didn't it. If Phil had the option, he would have asked his parents to be homeschooled the day after Quiz died.

But no one else could've either, and somehow, he didn't think it'd help to still have those memories and be isolated from his friends to boot.

Days like these though... Slumping over a desk hoping he could remember anything made him wonder if it would've been better. At least he could've used the same resources as the teachers.

He didn't know anyone in this class, so chances of him borrowing notes was admittedly slim. The class itself, chemistry, wasn't hard in and of itself. Mostly he just copied people's answers to labs and tried to remember enough for the tests. But the teacher requiring constant notes was a pain in the ass, to say the least.

But even if chemistry sucked, and did it ever, Phil could appreciate it for one thing. He could spend this whole class excited for the next one, every day, for forever.

Not that he was particularly excited to do math worksheets for an hour and a half, no. He was excited because it was the only class he had with all of his friends this year.

And to top it all off, the teacher didn't seem to give a shit about what happened as long as the work got done. The only thing they'd ever been told not to do was roast marshmallows over Zach's head, and that was because they set off the fire alarm. She probably wouldn't even notice if they did it again.

Thick as thieves was putting it lightly, and it was probably the only reason Phil understood why teachers assigned group projects themselves instead of letting people chat all class. So maybe chemistry felt like forever, but right afterwards he could chill with his friends and talk about their days and help each other out.

That last one happened more often than not lately. For some inane reason, their school had an extra cop assigned to it. Because kids needed to watch out for more dangerous people, obviously.

It probably wouldn't even have made them worry so much if the bastard didn't decide to wear shades and pretend he was an FBI agent or whatever he wanted to be. They'd seen the real deal and this wasn't it, but it looked close enough to freak them out.

Phred was actually the first one to break last week, hyperventilating into his hands before Smiley ran out to get a paper bag. Phil still didn't know all that had happened, but the cop presumably decided the kid was suspicious for being nervous around him, as if anyone didn't understand why.

A bunch of stutters and sobs and rants later, there were four submitted worksheets, two with Smiley's handwriting, and they had implicit permission to walk Phred down to the councilors office. They stayed there for the rest of the day, helping him work through memories anybody who wasn't present wouldn't believe if their life depended on it.

This kind of thing wasn't uncommon, even before more and more triggers started popping up. Phil still didn't know if triggers was the right word for it, but the probability of finding a therapist that believed any of them was slim to none, so he figured it didn't really matter.

Sure, he could dwell on everything that had happened all he wanted. Wonder what the hell had happened on the government side of things, if they were spared or if they just didn't bother tracking them down, or if something else happened. Either way it would be his fault.

Really, it was all his fault. It overwhelmed him sometimes, with the constant reminder that every panic attack and flinch was his fault. Like the story he didn't really read for English or whatever, with the heart the lady could always hear or feel beating.

But his guilt dragged theirs down, much as the pressure of the tiled hallways. Maybe he should be a poet. He'd have plenty of out there material, that's for sure.

Class bell autopilot must've kicked in, because Phil didn't even realize he was sitting in his usual seat until Phred tapped him on the shoulder.

"Yup, we're dealing with a zombie here," he announced in a deadpan voice. "Someone take him to the nurse and let's see if cough drops can bring back the dead."

"Hey!" Smiley punched Phred's shoulder, but she was grinning and so was Zach. Phil loved to "admit" it, their smiles were infectious.

"Eh, there we go." Zach flicked his face and raised an eyebrow in humor when Phil flinched. The humor was quickly replaced by sputtered indignancies as Phil covered his face with a hand.

"That's what you ge-!" Phil's retort was stopped by Zach licking his hand, giggling as Phil shook said hand desperately. "Grosssss....."

Smiley laughed. "Hey, you spoke! Took long enough." Her light hearted teasing was only punctuated by how she was practically plowing through her worksheets. She got given them all at once at this point, her boundless enthusiasm adding to the notes the teachers inevitably had for her.

Like all of them, she was far from a joy to have in class. Constantly correcting the teacher came at a cost, as it turned out. But unlike the rest of them, she could at least do her work nigh perfectly.

"Still can't convince you to do my work?" Phil jokingly questioned.

"Nope! Gotta earn it, silly!" She hummed back as she worked, scribbling down a correction on the teacher's formatting with a disapproving click of her tongue.

Phred rolled his eyes, but he actually started before the rest of them. So much for ambitionless, Phil supposed. He wasn't heading for top of the class or anything, but he had motivation now. Weird as it felt to him, him of all people, there was a twinge of pride in Phil's chest.

He stuck his tongue back out Zach before starting his work. Zach huffed and started too. As the sound of pencils scribbling filled their corner, one thought filled Phil's head.

He was so, so lucky to be in a real, oppressing as it might be, school, with them all, this time.

It’s me the anon who wanted to put Hatchetfeild tkl headcanons here, this is what has been rotating my brain for longer than I wanna admit

Pokey hating all voices that aren’t his own kind of makes him hard for realistic tkl headcanons cause like, the entire point is laughter. But I’m insane which means I can make it work. Cause like in TGWDLM the infected still sound the same (just better singers) so I feel like he more dislikes voices he doesn’t have control over than just the sound of other voices. And yk what? Forcing someone to laugh isnt an awful way to gain control over their voice

What I’m saying is *points at him* ler!!! He’s a ler in my eyes. And a very ruthless one at that (all of the LIB are but that’s not the point)

Also I think we need to think abt mind control powers. Cause those can come in handy. Like idk if he’s capable of invading someone’s mind without replacing or warping the original consciousness but let’s pretend he is. He could easily use control over someone to prevent them from getting away while he’s trying to wreck them. Or better yet he could probably mess with their brain to make it feel like they’re experiencing physical touch when they aren’t. Realistically he’d use this to hug people he liked and inflict pain on people he didn’t but we aren’t here to be realistic so u know exactly what I’m implying he’d use it for.

The mind control potential honestly makes him very overpowered as a ler, he can get whatever spots he wants simultaneously and his lee is powerless to stop him. I can make it worse actually maybe having access to someone’s mind makes it easy for him to figure out what their worst spots are. In other words his lee is either in for a bad or a great time depending on how they feel abt it.

I also have some kinda related paulkotho thoughts so maybe I’ll drop those here sometime

they tend to heavily romanticize his psychosis (? for lack of an exact term) and his basically nonexistent self worth. they either AMPLIFY both to the max but then make him suddenly stop once Florian comes into his life or just DOWNPLAY it super hard to the point of erasure. (I absolutely understand if it's not mentioned much/at all in smaller pieces/lighthearted fics and such but if you're going to write his issues atleast try not to do it so poorly!!!)

ANYWAY. MOVING ONTO FLORIAN. why do people make him out to be some kind of weird backward concept who only ever feels insanity. Like I know that his trailer is intense. He is intense. Most media we have of him so far alludes to his very dubious grasp on morality. BUT JESUS. can we not have him deadass assaulting Matthias?? Or being written like freaking mirai nikki. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK. FOR THAT NOT TO EXIST? How do you sit in front of a device and write that.

as for the way people write his obsessive behavior. i think a lot of people forget that it stems from grief. most of his issues are SCARILY unheathy coping mechanisms he adopted after his parents died. the whole savior complex and miracle shtick.

to write that sort of obsession as if it was just. for no real reason. or to romanticize it as a pull force for a ship is just. icky. YK???? honestly a lot of this is just romanticization problems (i say about the idv fandom for the millionth time) . and I don't say this to mean their relationship HAS to be healthy and perfect. in all honesty neither of them seem to be in a great state of mind to handle a relationship. they are not perfect people at all

but sometimes that's a quality driving point. (and I don't mean that from a perspective of glamorization. more like, when that kind of situation is written with well fleshed out characters it just makes a genuinely interesting story. I hope this makes sense)

IN SHORT. Matthias is a grown man who can absolutely stand on his own as an interesting character with REAL personality and Florian (while having a blurred distinction of moral and immoral) is STILL a person! Not just a violent personification of someone's desire for Matthias!!!!!!!!

Here’s a little something something. I wrote this while talking to a friend on insta about married greens. I hope you enjoy!!!

Did it matter at the end of the day? She didn’t think it did. Commitment came in different forms. She had four kids and years of love and sacrifice behind them. What more could she want? What more could she ask for.

They were never conventual people. Always beating to their own drum. She never thought that she would have kids and he certainly didn’t either.

The tabloids weren’t any of her concern. It was one of the reasons they lived life so comfortably, they ignored it all these years. She spent her younger years building up the thick skin to never be wavered by it. They could write anything about her but she knew what was true and held onto that.

But it didn’t come from the tabloids. It came from a friend. Not a close one of course but for some reason it bugged her.

“But you’re not officially married.” She had said.

Buttercup didn’t even bat an eye. She didn’t need a ring to know that Butch was her soulmate. She had stretch marks and four kids to prove her dedication and love.

She already call him her husband, what good would a ring do? But it ate at her. Slowly that idea became like an infection spreading around her.

She never craved a fancy wedding and the stress. She didn’t want a big dress and hours of people staring at her. However, the thought of looking at her hand and seeing a gold band made her heart flutter.

She walked into the door that night and saw Butch holding their youngest daughter in his arms. She was two and sitting on his arm while he made her a warm bottle before bed. She was sure the twins were already asleep and her oldest daughter tended to fall asleep in their bed before forcing her dad to tucked her into her own.

She had seen the routine many times but right now, something shifted. The warm light of their kitchen was on him, illuminating him in such a light that soften his features. She knew she loved him.

But seeing him so soft, made her fall back in love with him every day.

The giddiness of their first kiss and excitement of their first confession replayed when he met her eyes and used his daughters hand to wave at her.

“Look who’s here stinkbug.” He said with the nickname that their daughter rightfully earned.

“Hi.” She whispered and kissed his jaw feeling that slight stubble peak through.

“Let me go put her down.” He said and left the room.

A glass of hot tea was waiting for her. How could a boy created from evil treat her so kindly? Tears rimmed her eyes as her finger traced the rim of the glass. How lucky could she be?

“Babe?” His voice came behind her. Concern filled his head as he wiped the tear down her cheek.

She looked up at him. Those dark green eyes captured her heart effortlessly. She had fought monsters, battled demons but she could never resist his eye. She was thankful that all of her children got his eyes because a piece of him was always there.

He wrapped an arm around her and her head went into his chest, absorbing the smell of his body wash. He was warm. He was soft. He was home.

“Is everything okay?” He asked her.

She nodded into his chest and took a breath. She looked up again at him with a smile. A smile that took his breath away even after all these years.

“Marry me?” She asked.

Oh and how his smile grew. He took her in his arms, spinning her up into the air. Good thing for vaulted ceilings. His lips pressed all over her face hundreds of times as if he won the lottery.

“When? Tomorrow? Tuesday? I’m sure we could get in tonight if-“ silenced by her lips just so that the kids wouldn’t come running.

She pulled away. “Anytime, just make me your wife.”

“Anything for you.” He smiled and kissed her again.

I completely agree that on its own the Avatar universe is so huge and one of the most ideal worlds to write in. It's so unique and real - like firmly settled in what it is and how thought out/meticulously it was crafted. But there's also so much room for fans to take bits of it and put their own spin on it while still staying true to the overall world as a whole. Like the queue play thing: we know how they work and what they do for the most part, but we're able to be like "hmmm, I think it would feel AMAZING if we put it here (wink, wink)" and play with it and attach it to body parts that James Cameron would probably be horrified if he knew what we were trying to do to the sacred alien appendage 😂

I can just imagine Lo'ak's reaction after Neteyam and his girl run away together and Lo'ak becomes the future king-to-be. He'd be so upset because his whole life he's been compared to his older brother and always in his shadow and Neteyam always got everything, but at least Lo'ak got to focus on training and eventually he would be able to settle down with someone that he gets to choose. But noooo, Neteyam gets everything he wants, including the girl he wants, and just left Lo'ak there to take over every responsibility that he just up and dropped.

Now Lo'ak has to take be betrothed to the girl Neteyam was supposed to be with and she's got an attitude problem even more than before Neteyam left. But can you blame her? Okay I will admit. this Is a romance and also ive only seen the anime. So actually this would fall more under anime recs bcs the english dub voice acting is AMAZING. Anyway tho its a comedy that I really enjoy. Its about romance but like. Idk I dont read/watch romance often so I cant say "its not like the standard romance plot". But its less about them Falling In Love and more about them Overthinking Everything And Being Silly. ALSO !! tho it takes a bit, it does go into the characters a lot. Very centred on the characters relationships !! Not just romantically between the main two, but in general.

Why I think you would like it: similar in "vibe" to nozaki-kun. Funny!! But it has its moments of seriousness and it understands its characters well.

Look Back - to be super honest its been over a year since I read this I dont fully remember what happens. Theres this girl wjo draws comics for her elementary school newsletter. Shes funny so every1 really likes her and her comics. at some point another comic appears, but its actually just four panels of background art. Its so beautifully drawn that the other students begin to fawn over it. Angry kver her loss of attention, the first girl goes to meet the girl making these new comics (The background girl doesnt go to school, she works at home). Thr end up becoming friends and the story shows how their friendship develops and changes, growing closer and growing further apart.

The manga is p short for. a manga but its actually just a Really Long oneshot. Its rlly good. not much else to say.

Why I think you would like it: Very similar to Blue Period. About art and how it reflects people. Also very strongly driven by the relationship between the two girls.

sheala has a LOT of depth and theres a lot of politics involved (one day i think i will have to make a heres volfoss' politics in a silly slideshow or something bc there is so much.) so i will do my best to explain why i think you would like her :)

first off. she is very good at hiding her tragedy and well um. theres not a better example of this than on the ikuaipe route (shes part of the ikuaipe army, which is like one of the 3 major countries in volfoss). to simplify it as much as i can, there is a war going on bc asdenia (one of the other big 3 countries) refuses to export rare metals to ikuaipe, who use them to make drugs. there is no reason explained for WHY they stopped this but thats all u really need to know about the war bc its complicated and they get into a lot of stuff w the drugs (specifically on like. how withdrawal is handled and how restricting supply from people isn't immediately going to fix their issues etc, its handled very well) in detail in game but. sheala's older brother is veycer who is the head of the army (he fucking sucks. i hope he dies soooo bad but he is also written with depth and like. kind of even tho he DOES some over the top evil stuff [like well. the incident im about to get into lol], he still is given enough character that he's fleshed out properly. all of the "villains" are but thats besides the point.) plays a very big part in well. why sheala would make you go make so many character studies on her.

anyways dear god. politics explained and hatred for veycer being put in there in advance. sheala goes on a mission (where shes a commander, so has a decent amount of responsibility there, and more specifically is leading the rear of the troops, veycer is leading the front) and gets ambushed pretty bad. to the point that when shalvas (who you would also love. but it would take me like 3x as long to get into his diseases. i promise youd love him tho, hes the silly protagonist) arrives, theres just one soldier left of her unit bc the rest of them were killed, and that soldier dies shortly after. sheala is facing one of the four heroes (who basically are some of the strongest characters in the world, and are sworn to remain neutral (they are not by the point of the war, so one of them is fighting on the side of asdenia. its a lot of politics im so sorry) and a BIG amount of very tough enemies on her own when shalvas arrives. shes dealing with a ton of guilt about the entire team she was leading dying (which honestly like. she couldnt do much about bc of how strong the guy thats part of the 4 heroes is) and is completely determined to stay, even if it costs her her life. she's someone thats very loyal and very stubborn and this is not so great for her. thankfully, shalvas is able to persuade her by basically saying hey. if you died it would cause more trouble for veycer than if you lived. thats the ONLY way she would go back despite being in pretty bad shape and being completely willing to let her life go there.

on the way back, shalvas clearly is having the very awkward moment of ok. she is clearly upset and i do not know how to make it better (he is like. very very blatantly written as autism to me, so he communicates in a way thats very awkward a lot of the time, or just is silent. which is honestly very cool of him), so after Sheala apologizes for everything to him, he tells her that she can always fight the hero again (because yk. she didnt die lol) and then IMMEDIATELY denies it when she asks if hes comforting him. their dynamic is really nice because its just like two weird as fuck guys trying to be friends.

which um. well you see. veycer sucks so bad. and he is incredibly mad at how badly sheala fucked up with letting her troop get killed (guy that loves to get so mad soooo much of the time for no good reason other than its fun for him). and hes having a little moment of its fun to do drastic punishment and despite another army officer (who youll def see a lot if you play, his name is auveon. hes friends w sheala) begging him to not do it, he orders sheala's execution. (and when i tell you i felt like i was going to puke reading this for the first time, i do mean it. this is the 2nd route ive done, so id already seen a lot of her and liked her a lot, and ofc the more ive interacted w her in this (and the last route) ive cared a lot more about her. so it was like oh ok. we are suffering). veycer basically is just like well um. she fucked up BAD and she cant get any leniency for that. yeah even if she IS my sister, people would see me as a weak commander if i gave her a lesser punishment so um lol. all of the soldiers are pleading with him to not do it and auveon asks if sheala wants to plead her case and um. well she says "I will follow Your Excellency’s orders. I am prepared to give up this life at any time if I am told to die." like. what is your DEAL.

she is fine eventually tho, just got demoted and veycer had the fucking nerve to be like omg i loveee my family thank you shalvas for protecting her. which is then like ok. did she know he wasnt really going to do it. or is he just lying to shalvas for fun. its insane to me they have such a fucking weird dynamic bc sheala worries about veycer a lot and then veycer is like um. ok i kill you with rocks and hammers. but i promise i love you.

ANYWAYS. some of the other things i really like about sheala. she has a quick temper and will NOT hesitate to call someone out on BS (this gets her in trouble a lot but shes very capable. when i fought her in the first route it was the worst fight of the game bc she is THAT strong) but she is also very kind as a person. she and turi-marrya (shes a water maiden but is also genuinely so fucking cool and i could go insane over her. easily.) in both routes ive played, despite being on opposing sides are very kind to each other and very polite (both of them having a lot of respect for the other, given some events in the game.) i think just like the way that she is facing a lot of tragedy (mainly due to VEYCER.) and yet is still brave enough to keep going but also does have a lot of moments where the grief does hit her and she is clearly struggling to deal with it. i think youd love her.

Is the protag of gen7/Ultra Moon but different backstory prior to the games!

Instead of being from Kanto like og gen7 protag, she's originally from Alola, but moved away when she was like 6 cause of her dads job. Note that she never rlly had a close relationship w her dad cause its important later 👍 No negative thoughts, he was just very busy w his job and all. First moves to Kanto, lives there for two years, then moves to Hammerlocke in Galar when she's 8 and lives here till she moves back to Alola w her mom at 11.

While in Galar, her mom befriends Raihan's mom, so the two become friends despite a four year age gap(I hc Raihan as 25 by SwSh games so 👍). They hang out somewhat often, Lilith doesn't really have social media until she's like 10 but they stay in contact when she moves back to Alola.

Cue entirety of Ultra Moon that I am not recapping, becomes Alola's first champion, deals with some Ultra Beasts, fucks around and finds out in Ultra Space for fun. Reverse adopts Guzma as her dad because 1) Man that ran away from home is funny 2) just went through some traumatizing shit together 3) Not very close with her actual dad, has no father figure 4) funny dynamic

As a champion she remains pretty lowkey ig? Continues to pick up every odd job she can find, very close with the people in person but remains stone-faced and professional in any official stuff(battles, interviews, etc..). She wants to promote Alola as not just a vacation spot, but also a place that's a serious menace when it comes to battling, despite the league being so new, so she's very active in battling, visiting other regions for exhibition matches and what not.

But! The gremlin is real. Though she's got a lotta work cause league is so new and shes basically the chairwoman,,, she also investigates Ultra Space on the side because she thinks it's fun and a chance to relax!! She may be professional or kind on the outside but by god will she fistfight a UB if she has to.

Here's the spice tho,,, is invited to Galar along w Alola's elite four for some exhibition matches and a small vacation to meet old friends, about when she's 19 so two years before "current" time yk.

First time she sees her friends in Galar since she lived there so she spends a lot of time w them ofc, gets introduced to people within thr Galar league like different gym leaders and, ofc, Piers, who she has a few mutual friends with. Heeheehe they mainly become friends cause Raihan and Leon r like "You're both my pals so you're pals now" n all is almost good

Finally,,, the crushing part(Sorry not sorry this is so long I have soo many thoughts). So Champ originally only sees Piers as a close friend cause they get along well and have shared interests, while Piers starts like,, a small interest at first and then as they get to know each other more has a realisation one day that he's got a big fat fkn crush 😳

Champ only realises like. Almost a year later that she might have a thing for him when she watches one of his concerts for the first time

Ougoiuoho I havent thought out how they start dating yet okay but I'm thinking like. Slowly start doing more n more stuff like holding hands and then one day "so what are we?" "Dating?" Dbjwbehxisn but I also think it would be super cute if Piers was all flustered confessing n shit,,, choices choices. Okay so you probably won’t answer this because spoilers (I will ask despite this tho lol) but what happens when everyone does find out about what Tommy is?

And are there others from the over-world in the mortal realm doing what Tommy’s doing right now too that he knows? And if yes, are they able to recognise each other? Or even if he doesn’t know them can over world people recognise their own kind on the mortal plains?

And what do the tasks consist of? Like I know h d gotta get items and stuff but how obscure can some of the items be?

And when he gets them: what happens to the items? Do they just like sit in a box or does he like use a magic quill or something a mark an item with a symbol that makes it disappear??? Like what happens when he’s got an item or completed a task that Tommy knows he’s got the right thing?

And big big big question! Who finds out about Tommy first 👀 because I did some searching of the tags and I think I know who it is but idk lol. I’m also confused why Tommy would threaten to Dream about telling Techno something so very confused and intrigued!!

and yes they would be able to recognize each other, purely from their features. i've not entirely figured it out and somehow forgot to mention it but tommy's wings come back in after he gets his first task, just to give him a lil boost. but for some reason i haven't figured out yet, if you haven't been to the overworld you can't see them. so only one other person (plus dream) can see them! which actually leads to the first reveal !!

the tasks are pretty different! there is only one that can be found in the mortal realm. all the other ones can be found in other realms! (remember there are four well-known realms. there are others!)

the tasks are generally like some type of plant or something hard to get, just to prove tommy's loyalty and determination with things. and his strength. yk,,,

well apart from them getting stolen once, he keeps them on his desk after he gets them. after that incident he keeps them somewhere more secure! hhh i like the idea of a symbol i will definitely use that. if you still remember the paper and pencil i mentioned, both of them are inflicted with some type of magic that can take it to the overworld, and i'll use your symbol idea so he can mark it and have it get sent. THANK YOU :D and btw dream just takes them whenever he has the time to. he kinda illegally visits tommy using the whole like "guardian angel" type feature the overworld has, hence the hurt/comfort fic i showed u!

tommy knows he's gotten the right thing because it's on a slip of paper, generally telling him of the location and a tiny description of it. sometimes it comes in like a poem form tho that could possibly mislead him!

hmm u really want me to spoil that? wasjdgsjd im jk it's rlly not that big. techno is! tommy goes digging around an old ancient place and finds a book titled "memory", which he sees it's for recovering a persons memory, and he tries it on techno, just because a question had been nagging on him and he wanted the answer. techno looks eerily similar to an old warrior & deity, "blade" (i'll come up with a more creative name i promise) turns out he is. and then cause of the recovered memory he can see tommy's wings since he's been to the overworld and boooom yeah

i honestly am having a hard time deciding whether or not techno should be actual family to phil & wil or not, i'm considering having him be a neighborhood friend that just hangs around, like w/ soot house. either way would work,,,,
