As we’ve seen in mastermind, this man has EXTREME anger issues. And while I doubt he would take it out on his S/O, that doesn’t mean he won’t take it out on the people looking at said S/O longingly. That’s right, this man is possessive. That guy over there who’s looking at you? What guy? He just threw him into the abyss.

Drinks energy drinks and eats a ton of protein. What’s for breakfast? A protein shake. Lunch? Greek Yogurt. Dinner? Chicken breasts. All extremely high protein.

Not good at comfort, but will let you cry on his shoulder…and then slip away to go murder whoever made you cry. Not on his watch.

Vassago

The two of you have extreme discussions (and gossiping sessions) about both the other Goetic demons and their beliefs. There is no way the night of Blitzø’s court trial Vassago didn’t come home and gossip with you about Andrealphus.

Oh man. After years of being friends and earning his trust, you are now in the dating stage. Congrats. Blitzø has closed himself off from almost everyone, so him finally letting someone in is shocking to everyone around him—especially Loona.

You have to take baby steps. Although this imp loves you to the moon and back, he hasn’t been in a committed relationship (not counting Stolas bc they are purely transactional) since Verosika, which ended horribly—because of him.

On the topic of Stolas, I’m not sure if they would stop their transactions. Blitzø needs that book, and depending on Stolas’ mood on loosing the love of his life (his non-requited love is so tragic), he could either give Blitzø the Asmodean crystal like he does in the show and let him be free, or he could be a total asshole about it. Blitzø would feel terrible about it either way. Poor baby.

Stolas

Our beloved owl. Before you two even get together, there is a LOT of yearning from him. He will dramatically stare out of windows thinking of your guys’ future.

Once the two of you get together, he will immediately introduce you to his daughter. And although he worries that the two of you will dislike eachother, you love eachother! The two of you actually get really close and Via eventually accepts you as a new mother of sorts, since I doubt Stella was good to her.

Stolas will find a way to bring you up in any and every conversation. ‘Oh! My beloved partner can do this and that!’ He is completely head over heels in love with his S/O. You’d better not break his precious heart.

The reactions of the guys when you stare at them and compliment them.

Satan was running through the Gehenna streets, pulling you along with him as he helped you evade the attacks that were coming down from the sky.

"Ugh, this place should do. You should stay here and keep out of sight.", he grunted as you both finally got a place to rest. That's when he noticed how you were staring at his pinkish white hair that seemed almost like a cloud with how fluffy it was. Not only that, but you couldn't help to admire how his skin glimmers softly with how the light now hits his face.

"What?", he asked in an almost mocking tone as he leaned closer to you to look you straight in the eyes.

"I... You seem so pretty right now, so...", you muttered as you broke eye contact with him. He stood still. Not knowing how to react to such a compliment. After the surprise wore off, he patted your head and muttered: "You can continue admiring me, but after I killed those angels who disturbed our date." He gave you a smile before running back out to join the fight with his people.

Mammon, who would carry you all over Tartaros if he has the chance. The same man who would give you all he owned in exchange to be in your good graces and to be even in your presence. He would bask in the attention you're giving him. Even if it's just you staring. He wouldn't ask at first, but he definitely noticed.

It was only when his nobles asked or told him about it that he needed to ask.

He waited until you stared at him again. This time it was when you were in his firm arms.

"Why do you stare at me at times? Not that I mind.", he asked, smiling up at you as he continued walking down the hallway with you.

"You're just handsome.", you said giggling as you smiled back at you.

"I hope you'll keep staring at me then. I would love if you only looked at me like this.", he replied.

Zagan felt awkward as he stood still in his tracks. "Hm...", he hummed. Not knowing if he should speak out loud or not.

"Are you okay, Zagan?", you asked as you stopped beside him.

"...", he looked down at you. A blush on his face as he opened his mouth slightly. 'Is he going to speak?' You wondered as you heard the following words.

"Not that I dislike it, but I get flustered when you're staring at me like that.", he answered as he looked away from you and covered his mouth with a hand.

"Huh, well... You're handsome, but... sorry ... I didn't know I was staring at you just now...", you said as you actually thought about being in a trance whenever you look at him. He only blushed more at your words. He shook his head as a way to say that he actually wanted you to stare more.

Andrealphus couldn't see you staring, but he definitely knew you were. He isn't shy to ask though. He wants to know what of him intrigues you. "I know that you've been looking at me. Why?", he asked. His tone somewhat monotone and calm, but you could sense a slight hint of curiosity being in there.

"... I... sorry, I just think that you're pretty is all.", you replied honestly. Even if Andrealphus wouldn't be able to see he knew he could trust atleast you. "What about me do you think is pretty? Describe it, please.", he asks. He wants to be able to see what he looks like to you. So you start describing every point, from his soft hair to his painful scars and told him what you loved about them.

Stolas caught you a few times, but he either says nothing or he asks you in the most judgemental and monotone voice if there is something. You would always deny there being something which left Stolas to think about why you were staring. He would inspect himself, he would convince himself that it's because he's handsome. He would just think. Until it passes him off. Then he'll actually start demanding to know why you would stare at him.

You at times would tease him or change the subject, but one day he was very persistent. You just had to answer: "I just think that you're pretty...", you said which made Stolas stop in his tracks. He looks as if he's trying to register what you just told him, but he's having a hard time. Trying to calm himself down and seem cool, he'll clear his throat and say: "You mean handsome. Yes, I am." He says before continuing what he was doing. A blush now on his face.

Glasyalabolas wouldn't notice at first since he's always looking over people's heads. Until at some moment. He noticed you staring while you were in a conversation with him.

"Did something catch your attention?", he said. His deep voice waking you up from your trance.

"OH!... Uh... I guess so.", you said, not denying his question, but also not answering.

He raised a brow at this response and leaned down to look you right in the eyes. "Would you mind telling me?", he asked. Wanting to tease you as he expected you to deny, but instead he stood frozen on the spot when you did reply.

"I just think that you're handsome is all...", you said almost too casually.

"Hm?", was all he could muster to say as he straightened his back again.

"I see... Well, if I am so handsome then you're allowed to stare some more huh. Maybe Foras would go crazy because of this.", he chuckled at the thought of the demon in question getting agitated whenever you look at him, the tallest man in hell, again.

"Look at me enough to annoy him, but not enough to cause me issues then."

You know, I think I finally understand what bothered me about Blitz's behavior in Sinsmas

It's not that he was being was being grateful to Stolas, it makes sense, Stolas saved his life and lost his powers and position because of it, so it makes sense.

But since when has Blitz been so openly loving?

In previous episodes, we saw that Blitz pushes away the people he loves, and in Apology tour he showed that he wanted to improve, and I thought that after Mastermind, when he realized that he really loves Stolas,we would start to see this develop, him slowly starting to learn to love

But no, he's just being a lover boy, as if all his traumas involving relationships had been resolved in a single episode.

Again, the problem isn't that he's grateful to Stolas, it's that he acts as if all the previous problems in their relationship didn't exist in the first place.

The last time they spoke to each other they were not on good terms, and when they saw each other again Stolas sacrificed his powers and position to save Blitz, it should have been at least embarrassing for them to talk to each other after everything that happened

I think a good way to do this would be if Blitz was trying really hard to be grateful to him, too much so, because whether you like it or not, it's an awkward situation.

Let's take an example, the last time you spoke to your friend you had a huge fight, and when you see him again, he ends up losing his job to help you, even though you are obviously grateful to him,It would still be an awkward situation to talk to him after everything that happened

Like,The montage COUDLVE had them build up them beginning to get comfortable with each other again, rather than just blitz trying to cheer up Stolas

But no, instead, they are already acting like a cute couple who have been dating for a long time, like none of the previous arguments and fights they had ever happened.

And again, I'll repeat from last time, the problem isn't him being grateful to him, but rather them acting like a super cute couple as if none of the previous problems they had with each other had ever happened.

I was hoping that this would be the beginning of their real relationship,after all, apology tour and Ghostf#ckers shows that Blitz wants to become a better person so he starts opening up to others and not push away the people he loves, and I thought we would see his development for that,that we would see him becoming a better person.

that Blitz would really start to have a development for him to start opening up lovingly to Stolas.

But no, they just act like a cute couple and don't address the previous problems in their relationship.

I think there's some misunderstanding when people get offended by the suggestion that Stolas acts classist/racist. It seems that people assume we’re implying he is malicious and intentional with it, but the actual problem is that he doesn't think.

He was still raised in privilege and influenced by the narratives around him. For him, it's acceptable because that's what he was taught is fine. It's part of his everyday speech, and he never actually asks Blitzø, or anyone else, how they feel about the literally belittling nicknames (like literally—do you notice how often he uses the word "little" when referring to imps?).

I mean... there's a lot, okay? I'm just going to pull out some examples off the top of my head. All of them are from Season 1, and I'll explain why later.

He also takes pride in being part of Ars Goetia. That pride seeps into his mind whether he wants it to or not. He lives in a huge palace, never worries about money, can arrange a seat in a club that’s always booked out, and gets admitted to a hospital immediately, while hellhounds wait five years for a Hellbies shot.

Most of these examples come from Season 1 because, after the disastrous Ozzie’s date, Stolas begins to unconsciously cut back on this language. He seems to sense that something is wrong, though he doesn’t fully understand why. However, he is acutely aware of the problems with the transaction and the unfair dynamics it creates, and he is serious about putting Blitzø on equal ground by providing him with the means to run his business independently of Stolas.

And still, he maintains full control over the conversation during the Full Moon meeting, immediately dismisses Blitzø after one mistake, and throws him out. He continues to impose his narrative on Blitzø and…

When have you ever indeed, Stolas? You literally look down on Blitzø saying that. This moment illustrates the problem clearly. He isn’t lying when he says he doesn’t look down on Blitzø because he genuinely believes he doesn’t.

Despite all said, Stolas is making a tremendous effort and is progressing, and he is far ahead of Stella, who is openly classist/racist and very conscious of her biases. So I believe—no, I know—he will get there one day. But not today.

This is something I take quite seriously, and I think people need to understand how dangerous this subtlety can be, as it happens all the time in real life too.

How often do you ask yourself why medical research groups are predominantly represented by white, cis, upper-middle-class males, and how this affects the efficiency of treatments suggested in these studies for everyone else—women, people of color, non-binary folks, and those who struggle financially?

How often do you visit museums and see art created by wealthy aristocrats who defined what constitutes 'fine art,' while 'folk art'—often created by marginalized communities—is overlooked and lost to time?

I could elaborate further on how deep and cruel this bias is, but I’ll stop here. I just ask you to consider why you might get offended when someone points out Stolas's subtle bigotry and why you might downplay it compared to the loud, aggressive Blitzø, whose anger and avoidant issues are obvious.

Everything You Put Me Through - what is this ‘everything’ really?

Featuring: 

1) Interpreting the actual meaning of Blitz’ angry rant

2) A look into how Stolas misheard him just like most of us did, and 

3) A side-track into how they both gave the wrong signals about what they actually wanted from each other right from the start.

So, idk if this is a new-ish idea or not but

I've been pondering that moment where Blitz goes 'After *everything you've put me through*!!' during their one-sided argument, because it just didn't make a whole lotta sense to me.

The *obvious* reading would be that he means everything as in 'the sex arrangement [that I didn't like but didn't object to]' and I get the impression that's what most people read it as, taking it at face-value. 

It makes no sense though, as we see all kinds of evidence for Blitz actually *wanting* the arrangement to stay exactly as it is. Both before the Full Moon and after he shows his motivation to stick with their deal, and ‘it makes sense’ to him. He's at least physically into Stolas and Stolas is into him, for as far as he knows/hopes, what could possibly be wrong about continuing to have regular sex dates they both enjoy?

Throwing out that accusation of Stolas putting him through something upsetting, I personally felt like he was talking out of his ass spouting something aggressive just to channel his anger *somewhere*, including the whole tangent he went on with the whole 'not taking the lower class seriously' thing. 

Sure, it's an angle you can definitely consider, but it just seemed to have so little to do with their actual interactions around their agreement, and with what was happening right there and then?? The dismissive ‘bye Blitz I'm done talking please leave’ attitude, sure, but something about his rant doesn't seem on-topic enough to be about JUST that.

All that said, I think I finally figured something out:

He's talking about explicitly everything *other than the sex part*

‘The sex part’ is specifically what he WAS okay with, but it's the whole 'ugh wtf is he trying to do here, playing at us being actual friends and him caring about me' that was NOT part of the agreement that caused by far the most emotional distress to Blitz, and what I think he had in mind when thinking of 'stuff Stolas put him through' that he'd *actually* have struggled with.

Like.... this might sound kinda backwards but I can see Blitz legitimately struggling with 'how dare he put me in this situation where he gets hurt and I feel like it's my fault, and somehow I'm supposed to care and I DO care but what the fuck am I supposed to *do with that*.'

- because that'd be the sort of emotional challenge that'd really throw him off and make him feel absolutely terrible.

'If he'd just kept this business-only, I wouldn't be this conflicted.’

If it was ‘just business’ and nothing more, there would be neither the expectation nor the justification to approach Stolas and everything about him like a friend. Blitz *needs* it to be unambiguously ‘just business’ for his own comfort and sanity, because if it isn't… 

Example:

A prissy rich boy just looking to get giggity living out his fantasy couldn't possibly give a fuck if his ‘plaything’ to be ignored outside of fun times didn't come see him at the hospital, right? If that's what this is (and to Blitz that was the only believable option), to go visit him would be an enormous risk, and a huge emotionally messy one at that, given what happened the last time he tried to see someone he cared about who got hurt because of him. 

Yeah hahah, no. It's way easier to tell himself Stolas doesn't care, than to open THAT whole can of worms and push himself into the purgatory of being rejected in anger or be made fun of for being so stupid as to think Stolas might have wanted him there for real.

It's that internal emotional turmoil that really messes him up, and that he resents Stolas for. 

‘Why can't he just play by the obvious rules and keep it simple and clean, why does he have to do this pretend-bullshit making me almost think he actually values me, and make it so hard to keep my distance and stay detached, damnit!’

Because if that's what Stolas was actually doing, that would 1000% count as ‘playing with someone's feelings’, wouldn't it?

The annoying nicknames and the 'having sex appointments' stuff is not remotely the sort of thing that actually bothers someone like Blitz that much. It's maybe a nuisance or inconvenience, but there's no way he actually has deep-seated emotional pain about that. 

Stolas trying harder and harder to invite him closer and get to know him, THAT would be what would piss Blitz off, because he could only see it as this owl dragging him into some dumb roleplay. And that is what would actually, genuinely hurt to be a part of, because he wishes it *could* be real.

When Stolas ‘plays at being his friend in earnest’, Blitz thoroughly hates how it makes him feel.

Stolas is NOT pretending, but that's 100% inconceivable to Blitz. It being genuine is the one possible interpretation he can't risk taking seriously because if he's *wrong* oh my lord…

‘This hurts and I wished he'd stop doing what's causing me to feel this way.’

At this point in time, Blitz can't process his own feelings well enough to comprehend that that's what's causing him this pain, so all he feels is agitation over something vague. 

He feels anger, some resentment towards Stolas, and the only proper explanation he can give to himself is that Stolas is being thoughtless and disrespectful towards him - of course he'd be bothered and annoyed. That makes sense in his mental framework.

‘This whole thing he does, pretending to give a shit for real makes me feel like garbage, and he just keeps doing it like it's nothing, because he's just a total braindead douche when it comes to that specific stuff. He doesn't get why he needs to stop at *all*.’’

Blitz is walled off from his own vulnerable yearning and desires by fifteen layers of deflection and ignoring and irony. 

He tells himself he hates Stolas’ disrespectful, patronizing attitude, when the core of it is *disappointment* and self-doubts, and how it triggers his sense of unworthiness and hopelessness about never being able to have anything ‘real’.

He *genuinely* didn't get it, as obvious as it seems from an external POV, and other than Fizz nobody had any reason to challenge him on that. Other parties either didn't care, saw it just like Blitz did, or had no idea Blitz could be *that* freaking blind. 

Example:

Millie goofily referring to Stolas as Blitz's ‘boyfriend’ to her parents. Blitz responds as if she's disrespectfully joining in with Stolas’ thoughtless making a mockery of his feelings just to tease him, rather than being affectionately cheeky about this odd but kind of cute situationship he has going on and ‘pretends’ to be in denial about.

ALL OF THIS makes what he said when he blew up at Stolas make perfect sense.

... and it also means Stolas misheard it as 'he thinks I'm just some shallow sex fiend using him for pleasure' instead of 'he's mad at me because to him it sounded like all my attempts to be nice to him were just a messed up powerplay, despite me meaning every word of it'.

To Stolas, Blitz thinking he'd be that shallow is easy to believe because it's the most obviously logical possibility, AND it's also kind of his worst fear at that point. 

The notion of his genuine interest and tenderness being consistently misread, by comparison, is a pretty strange mental twist. It *almost* makes no sense at all that someone could only half-intentionally misconstrue regular kind messages as some contrived fucked up performance.

'When did I ever play with his feelings, it can't be all the times I tried to be nice to him with no strings attached because I really meant that in earnest... so it's gotta be the sex arrangement he's mad over??'

No wonder he took it the way he did.

Now, for my third section - it's quite the tragicomedy that their first reunion as adults was a whole pile-up of giving each other inaccurate impressions of what the other one actually wanted.

'Are you here to ravish me' = oh okay, owl do be randy??? thinketh a Blitz

'Oh hey there buddy, want me to ravish you then~?' = oh uh wow uh um ok he's here because he's actually for real into me????? wondereth a Stolas

and then they just kept that little 'roleplay' of trying to give the other what they thought they wanted from each other going, assuming that was the actual primary motivation of the other (when really Blitz was there for the book and Stolas had no idea what he was getting himself into and he was just making shit up on the fly half sloshed).

They pretty much *showed* each other that yes, they do in fact want-a-da-sex from each other, pretty explicitly,

and the deal they struck was just a convenient excuse to keep seeing each other.

It's not that hard to see how Stolas' thinking went there... 

‘Hey so, that was the most amazing thing ever and oh my goodness me, if Blitz actually likes me that way and as an aside he can use the grimoire too, um, well, tee hee hee? maybe we can make it a regular thing officially~?’

He called it favours for favours, but really it's sex for sex, and the grimoire's kind of a bonus tossed in because it makes a neat story, for as far as he's concerned. He clearly didn't have any intentions of withholding it if Blitz wanted a different arrangment.

'Let's keep having dates under this little fun guise of borrowing my book, because hee hee hoo hoo that's a neat dramatic plot device just like in my novels.'

He only way later clues into the implications of it as 'wait shit he does actually really need that book for real, this is kinda messed up despite never intending to lord it over him like this'.

Stolas *would* be the kind of dork to think of it like some romance story where the fated lovers come up with some cover story to continue their passionate forbidden tryst

... and it also makes scheduling really simple, HAH. 

(I mean scheduling can be *such* a pain in the ass, anyone who's ever played DnD would know that well enough, right~? Consistency is key ehehehehe.)

But this really bothers me. Like WHY did Blitz think this was a good idea? And how did he plan on keeping it once he had it? He’s not like unintelligent, the whole business is a good idea and they have no competitors we’ve seen other than CHERUB trying a reverse uno.

I pointed out in another post about this topic that Blitz is aware that there are other ways to get to Earth. He dated several succubi and incubi who have crystals. He was able to get one really easily to find Barbie. He could have gotten back with Verosika or any of the others if he was willing to have sex for it. It’s the same kinda arrangement and would involve a few groveling phone calls instead of a heist and fingers crossed you aren’t arrested or killed if you get caught. For Verosika her feelings probably stopped him there but there are other succubi and incubi and obviously he has the game to convince them.

Like if the plan was sneak in, get the book and he won’t know it’s me, fine. But he was already caught and Stolas already confirmed he knew who he was. That same plan would also work a lot better with lower risk at some succubus’s apartment than a royal party. And Asmodeus has hundreds of succubi and incubi and associated crystals versus one guy’s personal spell book. Risk analysis says. “Steal some random nobodies crystal from their probably unsecured house”. And even after Stolas clocks him he’s still like “I’ll just take it” and then thought just ghosting Stolas after would be enough??

I just feel like there has to be a reason, even if it’s like a subconscious one. Why Stolas? What reminded Blitz of a royal who has a book that can go to the human realm 25 years later when he had fairly recently ended a relationship with a succubus who can also do that? And Barbie was able to find a job to get to Earth so it seems like that was also an option. He could have doubled up, run drugs or human shit and also killed people at the same time and done it legitimately. Partnered up to ride along with a succubus even, “Hey, you go do your sex demon shit and I’ll be killing people, we’ll meet back here at 3”. He’s still the boss in that scenario even if he also works with someone else to do it, he’s doing that with Stolas anyway. The consequence of running afoul of Asmodeus if he finds out and is mad because of his partnership with Fizz is only slightly higher than it is stealing from an Ars Goetia.

I don’t know if it was to fuck with royals specifically? He thought Stolas would be an easy mark, but he doesn’t really know him now from what we’ve seen so that’s a weird assumption to make. He seems to think pretty negatively of royals why would he assume this one wouldn’t be the same if he was caught?

Did he follow Stolas before hand to get a vibe? How did he know about the party? Did he just pick a random day and there happened to be a party? What was the lead up? I guess it was in the paper, maybe he saw it there and was like “Now is my chance”. I can buy that from an impulsive desperation level but like I said, there were easier ways.

He didn't understand why you were wearing a mask all the time. When you first met, he was sure it was just your style. But you've never taken off your mask in front of him before, and you've never talked about it. It bothered him. He knew that it was just a mask and not your face, and there definitely had to be a reason why you were hiding your face. Stolas was hoping that you would talk about it yourself at some point, but that didn't happen, so he decided to ask you about it himself

When he asked you a question, you tensed up. It was obviously a difficult topic for you, but you still sighed heavily. Stolas hastened to convince you that he understands that it can be difficult and if you are not ready, he will understand everything, but you interrupted him, saying that you really should have told him everything a long time ago. You confessed to him that you were wearing a mask for a reason, but because you were hiding your ugly face behind it. You waited for his reaction with obvious apprehension, but Stolas gently took your palms in his and said that he didn't care what your face looked like. He loved you and was ready to accept you at any cost. He told you that he would like to see your face, but he would understand if you didn't want to take off the mask in front of him. His words came as a surprise to you. You wanted to trust him and his words, so you gently released your palms and reached for your mask

He expected to see anything, but your face turned out to be completely different from what he expected. You were beautiful. You were more beautiful than many people he had met in his life. But for some reason, you thought your face was ugly. You sat with your eyes downcast, waiting for his reaction. But instead of words, he took your face in his hands and began to leave short kisses on your skin, smiling. It was the first time he saw a blush appear on your cheeks. After a few kisses, he whispered to you that you were beautiful, that you were more beautiful than many he had seen in Hell and beyond. His words made you cry. Stolas was the first one to say such words to you

Stolas didn't know why you thought your face was ugly, but he hoped he could help you feel more confident. He knew what it was like to feel insecure, and that's why he sincerely wanted to help you. You were beautiful both externally and internally, and he managed to get to know it very well. Maybe someday, you could take off your mask and never put it on again

He smiled at you tenderly and told you that you were the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. You quietly started to mumble a denial of his words, but Vassago interrupted you and asked if you could not wear a mask at least when you were alone. His sincere request surprised you, but you simply couldn't refuse it

He hoped that over time you would be able to believe that you are beautiful. Vassago often told you about your beauty so that you wouldn't forget that thought and start believing again that your face was ugly. Perhaps one day you would become so confident in yourself that you would stop wearing a mask altogether and be able to show others your true face without being afraid of anything

Asmodeus enjoyed spending time with you. You were special to him, and he didn't hide it. Many people didn't understand what exactly he saw in you. No one has even seen your face, because you've been wearing a mask all the time. Many people were sure that he knew what you were hiding under the mask, but that wasn't the case. Even Ozzie didn't see your face, even though you were dating. Shortly after you met him, you indicated to him that it was very personal, which you would like to keep to yourself. He understood that and didn't ask you any questions. But when you started dating, his mind was increasingly wondering what exactly you were hiding. Ozzie didn't ask you, realizing that it was something personal for you, but you also realized that you couldn't hide the truth anymore

On one of the quiet evenings that you spent together, you told him that you had been together for a long time and you wanted to tell him why you were wearing a mask all the time. As it turned out, the reason was that you had an ugly face. At least that's what you said. You were so sure of this that you didn't take off your mask for a very long time, except when you were alone. Your words have seriously disturbed him. Asmodeus couldn't figure out who had convinced you at some point that your face was ugly, but he could hardly believe it. That's why he asked you for permission to take off your mask himself. You started to worry a lot because of his request, but you nodded anyway, closing your eyes. Ozzie reached for your mask and gently began to take it off, giving you the opportunity to stop him at any moment

When he took off your mask, he saw that ugly was the last word that could be called your face. It was beautiful. You were obviously nervous, not daring to open your eyes, but you did it as soon as you felt a light touch on your lips. Ozzie left a light kiss on your lips and smiled at you, stroking your cheek. You looked at him uncertainly, not knowing what to do now, but he beat you to it, saying that you were beautiful. It was a fact he wasn't going to let you dispute. It's the first time you've been called beautiful after so many years of thinking you were ugly. But you knew that Asmodeus wouldn't lie to you about it. He was really telling you the truth, even if it was hard for you to believe

It was hard for you to believe that you were really beautiful, but Ozzie kept telling you that. He really thought you were beautiful and wanted you to see your beauty too. He knew perfectly well that it would take time, because it wasn't so easy to deal with a thought that was firmly rooted in your head, but he wasn't going to give up

Fizzarolli was seriously injured at the time and has been hiding his old wounds behind makeup and costumes ever since. But he didn't know the reason why you hid your face behind a mask. He understood that this might be too difficult a topic for you, so he didn't ask you about your mask. He just accepted it as a part of you. He was also embarrassed to show you how he looked without makeup, so he assumed you had a similar reason. But when he became more open and began to appear more often in front of you in his natural form, you began to feel anxious, because you continued to hide under the mask. That's why you decided to take a bold step

When you both had the day off, you said you needed to talk about something. You told him that you would like to explain to him why you were wearing a mask. Fizz was looking at you intently, waiting for you to continue. You told him that the main reason you were wearing a mask was because you had an ugly face. You realized that compared to his reason, yours seemed ridiculous, and that made you feel especially lousy. You wanted to be as open as he was, but it was hard for you to make up your mind. That's why he suggested that you try to start small, namely to take off your mask in front of him, because he would never judge you for your appearance

When you took off your mask, Fizz froze. You thought it was because he was scared of your face, but it wasn't. Your face was beautiful and Fizzarolli saw it. Your face was very beautiful and Fizzarolli was quick to tell you about it, causing a bright blush on your cheeks

He wanted to help you feel more confident. Perhaps by gradually expanding the boundaries. He hoped that over time you would become more confident in yourself and would finally be able to see yourself the way Fizzarolli saw you. It would have taken time, but he was able to feel confident himself, and now he was going to help you feel confident and beautiful too

Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss boys' ideal dates (part 1)

Sum: Where they would prefer to spend their time with you as a date.

Characters included: Alastor, Lucifer, Angel Dust, Blitzø, Stolas, Moxie

Warnings: none, it's just fluff, except for like, three curse words and Angel Dust's job (I've put a note on where that part starts). Reader is gender neutral, if I have missed a pronoun here or there please let me know.

Alastor

Alastor lived in the 1930s. That’s all that needs to be said. A really classy dinner in the most expensive restaurant there is, with low lights and candles. And live music. Oh, the live music. Hell might be a filthy place, but the songs are… well… heavenly. You chat and laugh and eat with the soft sound of the sax playing in the background, the Imp on the stage singing “Somewhere over the rainbow” in a sensual voice. Once you finish eating, Alastor gets up and goes over to the stage. He says something to the musicians and they start playing a quicker rhythm, which you quickly recognize to be one of the most popular dances in the 30’s, called the jive. And you’re not surprised when your date offers you his hand and guides you to the dancing floor.

After a long night, you two go for a walk outside, chatting mainly about the Hotel. You tell him that you believe in redemption, and he finds it foolish, yet adorable. After that, the conversation gets deeper. You talk about secret hopes and regrets, about your lives on earth, what you would have done differently. It’s the first time Alastor is being this open with someone, and you know it. Your date ends with him walking you back to your hotel room and kissing your hand gently, before he wishes goodnight and walks away with one of his few real smiles.

Lucifer

Lucifer gets easily bored- no, tired with all the “King of Hell” bullshit. After all, he’s just a father whose wife recently dumped him. And at first it was really hard for you two to get close, him being afraid you would leave him like everyone else did. You’re not that kind of person, and he knows that now. Still, going out can sometimes be too much for him. All the Sinners and Hellborn running the moment they see him, it makes him feel more lonely, even with you by his side.

So he prefers to stay at home. You two make something to eat, like pancakes (they’re his favorite, trust me). As you eat, you start talking about anything and everything- except ducks, that’s a sensitive subject. The conversation will most likely end with Lucifer showing you some old album with photos of him playing with Charlie when she was a child. After you finish eating, you cuddle on the couch, watching TV. He ends up falling asleep in your arms (you’re the big spoon and I’m not negotiating over that), your fingers caressing his blonde hair.

Angel Dust

Before you proceed, I would like to note that this work includes mentions of Angel Dust’s job. If this kind of content is triggering for you, I would suggest reading only the second paragraph.

Angel’s job is a great part of his life. He might hate it because of Valentino but it is what he does best. So of course he wants to show you his talent- pole dancing. The best place to do that is a famous club near the Hotel (one that Valentino doesn’t go to often.) The owner is more than happy to have the famous Angel Dust dancing exclusively in their business, even if it is only for one night. The show starts, and Angel dedicates the night to you, making all the sinners turn around to see the one that stole the pornstar’s heart. The Spider Demon doesn’t fail to make you blush repeatedly during the show, teasing you openly, in a way you haven’t seen before, not even in his movies.

After the performance ends, you’re too shy to even talk to him, a situation that ends with huge amounts of laughing from both of you. After that you go for a walk outside, and probably have some takeout, because, well, Charlie decided that four times a week the Hotel will be serving boiled vegetables for dinner, “so everyone can stay healthy”, and it isn’t exactly the ideal food for a day. You two end up dancing in the music of some other club in the city, hidden from all eyes. Angel is amazed with the fact that you can enjoy something as simple as that. When you finally head back to the hotel, he replays the sweet moments over and over again in his head and that’s maybe one of the first times he’s blushed from something like that.

Stolas

When I say Stolas has money, I mean you couldn't spend one milionth of it in this lifetime, even if you wanted. He's used to paying for everything, so he really doesn't mind you choosing where you want to go- even if it is the most expensive place in Hell. He has a small panick attack on what he should wear, poor thing hasn't been to a date since, well, forever. He is extremely nervous when he comes to pick you up, but quickly relaxes when you start a conversation. The place is absolutely adorable after all you chose it, and the food is really delicious. Well, I don't have to say much, it's your typical ideal date.

After you two finish eating, you go to the Owl Demon's house (or castle I don't think something that huge is a house). You stand at the balcony for a long time, gazing at the stars, occasionally making a comment on astronomy (after you found out about Stolas' obsession with celestial objects you made your own research). The moments are truly blissful, and when he takes your hand and guides you inside, it's the most sweet thing you have ever seen- he doesn't want anything but you close to him, to feel you scent as he wraps his hands around your waist, burying his face in your neck, trying to get as much of you as possible. Not in a naughty sort of way. Just you, him, and the stars.

Blitzø

Blitz simply doesn't have the time. Don't mistake me, he loves you, but his job is taking up most his days and even with Moxie and Millie's help, he barely manages. He always finds a way to be with you if not daily, three or four times a week. Sometimes you just visit the I.M.P. "facility" and tidy up a bit while he's away, maybe make lunch for everyone and hang out with Loona, who surprisingly thinks you're a very cool person. Sometimes you join him in his little "adventures" in the human world, after all it's a great workout and you have to keep fit.

If Blitz actually finds some time to spend with you exclusively, it will either be eating snacks, cuddling on the couch with him complaining about work. Or. The most extreme fucking thing you ever imagined, like, extreme sports or something. The Imp loves the adrenaline in his veins, and you do too, once you get used to it. After all you'd do anything to spend time with the man you fell in love with. You're a bit dazed afterwards but for some reason he loves seeing you tripping around.

Moxie

Moxie is what you'd call a lovebird. The stereotype one. He buys you flowers and escorts you to the car, putting a rose in your hair or something like that. His suit is literally perfect and you wonder how many times he must have ironed it before he came to your place. Moxie is nervous. Really really nervous. He wants everything to be perfect, but once you reassure him, telling him that everything will be perfect just because you two are together he finally gets to relax. As he drives you there, you constantly ask where you're going (he only told you to dress classy and he's not disappointed with the results), but he doesn't tell you anything. "It's a surprise, you'll like it, I promise". The place is absolutely gorgeous but you can't help but wonder how much it cost... But Moxie's got you covered.

It's the ideal date. And gosh you have so much to talk about. When it ends (the Imp implies every four seconds that there will be more), the moment finds you standing in front of your house door, starting into each others eyes. Because in Hell, you found a soulmate.

Stolas x Fem! Reader: Darling You’re All I Need

You always had horrible self esteem issues. Constant bullying of your looks, your personality, even the existence of your life. Kids can be pretty mean, especially since they don’t know that bullying can affect a person this much. Eventually you believed them.

Now as an adult, those self esteem issues didn’t go away, in fact they gotten much, much worse. You completely shut out from the outside world, you didn’t want to be seen or heard. Or maybe that’s what you really needed.

You were surprised whenever you became friends with the prince of Hell, Stolas. You were shopping at a clothing store and bumped into him. You profusely apologized and felt super bad that you bumped into a prince. Stolas reassured you that everything was okay and that you didn’t have to apologize. He saw how upset you were and offered to buy you something from here. You denied the offer because you believed you should be the one buying him something. Stolas said, “That’s no need. How about we go get coffee or tea tomorrow?”

At first you denied and wanted to run out of the store, but Stolas said something that made you rethink your decision, “I find you interesting, that’s all. Of course, you’re allowed to say no, but I do want to get to know you.”

So the next day you learned all about him. He was at that store looking for clothes to buy for his daughter. He also used to have a toxic situationship with this one imp that ended about a year ago. You listened closely as he talked about his childhood, adulthood, his daughter, his duties as a prince, but he wanted to know more about you.

You were taken back. Nobody asked you that before, you were completely shunned down by your peers.

“I’m not that interesting.”

“I think everyone is interesting in their own way. Tell me about your life or the things you like.”

You definitely did not want to tell him about your life. “I like stars and moons. That’s why I was shopping there yesterday. Um..” You couldn’t think of anything else.

Because of this interaction alone, Stolas was intrigued by your nature. Eventually you guys would go get coffee, brunch, lunch, even dinner almost everyday, and during those interactions he would find out more about you little by little.

He first found out about your childhood and how you would get bullied by kids everyday. His heart ached for you while hearing them. Some days after that you told him about middle school-high school and things got much worse for you, but you always told him, “It didn’t affect me,” but he knows very well that it did affect you, but he didn’t want to bring it up first.

Lastly, he invited you to his house, and when he did he finally got the truth, “Me? Why me? You don’t have to invite me because you feel bad about me. Christ on a stick I should’ve lied about my childhood.”

“Darling, I’m not doing this out of pity. I’m doing this because I love your presence. Come to my house tomorrow at 7, i’ll have a fancy dinner for you.”

“What about your daughter?”

“She’ll be at her mother’s.”

“Okay…is this a date?”

“Would it be a problem if I said yes?”

Now you were definitely taken back by this, “I don’t know, Stolas. I’m flattered! Really! But…”

“Don’t fret darling. If you don’t want it as a date then it doesn’t have to be, but I would like to have this date with you.”

This was something different for you. Your whole life you felt worthless to a point where you don’t deserve anything good, especially when it comes to a prince asking you this.

Days later after that date you two made it official. It was still all new to you and you felt like you were being pranked, but Stolas has been nothing but kindness towards you.

You later on met his daughter who seemed to like you. You two would talk about superficial things, but eventually she opened up to you, as well as you opened up to her.

Your life with Stolas has been great, and you believe it’s 100% to good to be true. The relationship has been phenomenal, but your self esteem was still in a shit hole.

Stolas knows this, he knew it the moment you accidentally bumped into him, but he didn’t want to point it out, he wanted you to express your feelings about your self esteem.

The trauma of verbal abuse caught up to you recently, making your self esteem even worse. You tried to keep it together, but day by day you were on the verge of a breakdown.

You and Stolas was laying in his bed watching some romance movie. His arm was around you while the other one was trailing circles on your arm. You looked at him with sorrow, you dont deserve a guy like him. You’re bringing him down, you’re too much for him, you’re too ugly compared to him, your personality is too much for him to handle.

You couldn’t do this anymore, “I’m going to go to the bathroom real quick.” You got out from his holding.

“Do you want me to pause the movie?”

“No, you don’t have to. I shouldn’t be too long.”

“Okay, darling.”

The moment you locked yourself in the dark bathroom you cried. You hardly ever cry because you believe it makes you look weak. Everything you do makes you look weak.

Thought after another thought caused another sob. Your head began to hurt from the painful sobs. You tried to quiet them so you won’t disturb Stolas and make him worry, but with each passing, horrible thought you couldn’t silence yourself.

A worried knock came from the door, “Darling? Are you okay? What’s wrong?”

“I’ll be out in a minute!” You choked on your tears.

“Y/n…” Stolas’ volume softened, “Can you open the door?”

You let out a shaky breath and unlocked the bathroom door. Stolas peaked in and was about to turn on the lights,

“Don’t! Just leave them off.”

Stolas left the bathroom door open to bring some light in, he sat down across from you. “Why were you crying?” His tone was still soft.

“I don’t feel too good about myself.” You rubbed your eyes.

“About what?” Stolas scooted closer towards you where your legs was touching.

“I don’t deserve you. Why would you want a girl like me? I’m messy, Im nowhere near royal, I’m off putting and I definitely don’t have the looks.” You sniffed.

Stolas couldn’t believe this, “Why would you say that? I’m very fond of you and-”

“Save it, you’re with me because you feel bad. That’s gotta be the reason why you’re with me, because why else? You’re a prince you could’ve found ANYBODY other than me. Anybody who doesn’t have horrible self esteem issues and-”

Stolas dragged you into his lap and held you, “Darling, you’re all I need.”

You blinked through the tears, “I don’t..I don’t know.”

“You deserve love,” Stolas slowly rocked you, “I want to help you feel loved. You make me the happiest guy in Hell and it pains me to see you like this.”

“Why are you doing this?”

“Because I love you. I love your existence, your presence, your face. You’re all I need.”

au where the clown pageant that Fizz quits during is about a month after the end of Season 1, and Charlie and Vaggie were in the audience. They saw Fizz quitting, and Charlie definitely took notice of Ozzie protecting Fizz.

(“Why the fuck are you two dressed like clowns?” Angel asks when they got back.

“Everyone else had merch, so I picked the nicest shirt,” responded Vaggie in her Glitz and Glam t-shirt.

“He was so nice to this one kid, and then he had that song!” Charlie responded while wearing a Fizzarolli hat.

“Wait,” Angel said in disbelief. “You two went to a circus for your date?”

“It was Charlie’s turn to pick the place,” was Vaggie’s only defense.

“It was actually a clown pageant!” Charlie clarified. “Vaggie’s missed so much of hell because I thought she was stuck here in Pride. It’s been three years, and she hasn’t even been to the harvest moon festival in Wrath!”)

And. Well. Charlie sees it, and she immediately thinks of Angel Dust. And if Ozzie could get Fizz out of his deal, maybe he could get Angel out of his. She was… pretty sure Lucifer was on good terms with the other deadly sins? Maybe? And she remembers how badly interfering with Angel’s work life without him wanting her too went last time, but she doesn’t want to get Angel’s hopes up for nothing, so she jumps to calling Ozzie anyway.

(“Let me get this straight,” the king of lust said. “You want me to get involved in overlord politics? No. No way. I stay out of pride for a reason.”

“I can pay?” She really couldn’t, honestly.

“Look, I know I’m the sin of lust, but I have a boyfriend.” And wow, Ozzie looked really happy to be saying that last part.

“And I have a girlfriend. I meant money.”

Ozzie sighed. “Look. I don’t know shit about sinner contracts, ok? If he sold his soul, nobody can just overpower their way out of that. If anyone could, it would’ve been Lucifer, and you’d have gone to him if he could, wouldn’t you?”

Charlie nodded, trying fruitlessly not to let her disappointment show.

“That being said, if you can get a copy of the contract, I… know a guy who may be able to find a loophole.”)

And then, somehow, Stolas ends up agreeing to go to the hotel and reads over the contract. You guys remember when Fizz got captured and he thoroughly read all that legal stuff? It’s that scene again, but at the hotel.

He also brings Blitzø for security. Blitzø meets Cherri Bomb at the bar while she’s waiting for Angel to be done with all the contract stuff. This is the start of a ride-or-die and terrifying friendship.

Anyway, I’m not sure if Stolas would find a loophole or not yet, but I do kind of think he would bc this is Val we’re talking about.

You met through one of her old owners. And "owners" is the correct statement here, because Loona was nothing more than a pet to them.

Of course, they didn't introduce her like that. But since her previous owners were a pair of succubi, they were able to go to earth. They brought her on their honeymoon, where Loona was able to meet you. Her owners introduced themselves to your family as her mothers in the hopes of not drawing suspicion of abuse (because it's pretty frowned upon to treat your "child" like an animal, after all).

Loona was really aggressive and hostile at first, not allowing you to get close to her, touch her, or even look at her for too long. But you were little, and were easy to distract from her blatant rejection of your friendship.

She slowly began coming around more, though, over the week that her owners remained on their vacation. She started confiding in you. And since she was just a kid, she had no concept of keeping secrets. So she basically spilled her guts, about being a Hellhound from Hell, considered her "mothers'" pet, the fact that she never had a real family, and everything.

And when you hugged her, she was... heartbreakingly confused?

After that, you lost contact. But she never forgot you. Her first friend.

And so she does. Loona comes to see you, using her adept sniffer to find you in the madness that is Earth. She of course takes on her human disguise for the first time since her previous owners, and she was amazed you even recognized her.

"Loona?! Is that you? What... What are you doing here?"

"Long story short, a lot has happened and sorry I didn't visit sooner. I'll explain everything, I promise. God, S/O, I missed you so fucking much."

And so she did. She explained everything that happened, and later on, she introduced you to Blitzø. It was odd, she introduced you as though you were her boyfriend...

Blitzø could see the feelings brewing in Loona, but you seemed like a stand-up guy and you made and excellent first impression on him, so he didn't mind that much. Even though he was still a tad overprotective of her.

It didn't even take long for you to start dating. You saw her for Vortex, she... isn't the most subtle.

The only difference is she's more protective and aggressive over you. You're a human after all, you could get hurt!

She loves you so much, and she's so grateful that her boyfriend was her very first friend. :)

Same with Loona, you probably met Octavia during some kind of vacation that her family went on, where she was stuck on her father's side like glue.

She seemed really timid around you at first, this being her first experience in the human world and the first time she's stuck around humans who don't understand her.

But you were just so friendly, and so persistent. She couldn't resist getting close to you, and even looking up to you at some points.

And honestly? It was a welcome distraction from her parents when her mom clearly hated her dad. You wouldn't believe how beyond grateful both Stolas and Stella were for your involvement in Octavia's life to distract her.

And throughout the years, because of her parents' appreciation of you for distracting their daughter during their fights, they'd help her keep in contact with you.

You two essentially grow up together. Sleepovers, playdates, the works. And eventually, that turns into casual hangouts, discovering hobbies together, and eventually, even mutual crushing.

Now, obviously, she's an angsty emo teenager, and doesn't know how to sort out these feelings. So who does she go to? Honestly, probably the worst person for that: you.

"S/O? What does love feel like?"

Cue a very awkward explanation trying to explain to your crush what a crush feels like... thinking she's referring to another guy, no less! So the heartbreak was also present.

Fortunately for you, it was very momentary and fleeting.

"I see... And what if I had... a crush... on you?"

"Via? Are you saying what I think you're saying?"

She's as shy as they come, and very nervously nods, fearing the harsh rejection and the end of your friendship that seemed inevitable. She couldn't have been more shocked than when you said those words she wanted to hear...

"I feel the same, Via."

"Really? Then... would you... maybe... want to... try going steady?"

You snorted out a little laugh, tilting your head.

"'Going steady'? What are you, ninety?"

Of course, you were only teasing, and she momentarily pouted at you before you finally gave in, taking both of her hands in yours.

"I'd love to go out with you. Just convince your mom not to kill me when she finds out you're dating me."

She let out a hoot-like laugh and nodded.

"I promise I will."

You were her absolute everything, and she was so happy she finally got to be with you. :)

Okay, so headcanon that Verosika's childhood wasn't the nicest. Not necessarily awful, but she never really felt wanted by anyone.

That all changed when she met you, though! As little three-year-olds, and her parents living on earth for a few months out of the year, she became immediately attached to you, clinging to your affection like she thought it'd leave if she ever let go of you.

She's clingy to a fault, always wanting to hug you and hold your hand and play those "physical" games (tag, leap frog, etc.). Sometimes, though, she'd sucker you into playing dolls with her. But hey, at least she (usually) let you be Ken. And have a personality.

"Hey! S/O! Let's play! I wanna be Nicky, but you can be Ken! :D"

She was so adorable and sweet, how could you possibly resist?

She maintained close contact with you, and her parents really didn't mind that she sometimes went off on her own to spend time with you.

You were there when her career began taking off and when she began getting famous, even to the extent of tabloids discussing rumors that you were an item. You weren't, though, although you started crushing on her near the beginning of her idol career.

So the tabloids made you uncomfortable in a... strange way. You didn't want her knowing how much you loved her, especially considering she was already with some imp guy...

...and then he broke her heart.

You consoled her, held her, reminded her how perfect and amazing she was, and how she didn't need someone who never saw her value the way it should be.

In this moment, she realized how amazing you were to her. You were always there when she needed you, you were never mocking or cruel with her, you never made her feel unwelcome or unloved... You were an amazing guy.

But you didn't think of it the same way. You didn't want to confess under the precipice of her possibly thinking you were glad to see her get her heart broken just so you could virtue signal about how much you loved her.

It wasn't instant, but that night, she began to develop her own feelings for you.

A few months later, she was head over heels, the same way you were. She was mean and catty with a lot of people, but oh, not with you. She adored you.

You'd already be close with her posse, but they set you two up, convincing Verosika to tell you the way she feels.

"Heya. So, like... I kind of like you, and all, but if you don't feel the same, totally fine. I don't mind."

A lot more chill when she isn't actively plotting against someone, actually. And of course, you accepted her confession that you thought would never happen.

And so, in the end, the tabloids were proven right... eventually. :)

Lust and Love in "House of Asmodeus"

House of Asmodeus is the perfect climax of season 1 and my personal favourite song in Helluva Boss. Not only it is a banger and it introduces Asmodeus and Fizzarolli's characters, but it is key for themes and characters alike. Let's see why!

THE PERFORMERS

The protagonists of House of Asmodeus are three couples:

Moxxie and Millie

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli

Stolas and Blitz

What do they represent? They are the theme, the anti-theme and the negation of the negation:

The theme is the stance the story is supporting. In this case, "love".

The anti-theme is the stance that runs opposite to the theme. In this case, "lust".

The negation of the negation is the stance, which is worse than the anti-theme. In this case, "loneliness".

Each couple embodies one of these ideas. Not only that, but in general they explore the topic of relationships, by considering two aspects:

the microchosm: the bond itself, the couples' ability to communicate well and to find a common ground

the macrochosm: how society sees the couples and their reactions to these expectations

So, let's explore House of Asmodeus! First, I will offer a general analysis, where I will highlight the basic ideas and motifs. Secondly, I will go deeper into each couple.

LOVE VS LUST

M&M embody love (the theme). After all, the song starts with Moxxie singing a romantic serenade for Millie:

Moxxie: I love you More than the brimstone loves the fire More than Beelze- loves her -bub More than a maggot loves gangrenous stubs You make my spirit sing Yeah, you make me glad I live in Hell Our love is a story sweet to tell Yeah, you cast a special Satanic spell over my heart Love is a journey we decided to start Yeah, I hope we'll never ever be apart I love you (x7)

It is a celebration of the couple's pure love, but it gets interrupted by Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, who mock M&M. They represent lust (the anti-theme) and want to sing about it:

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli: joining in, mockingly I love you (x5) I love you (x3) Asmodeus: You singing love songs in my lustful lounge? Fizzarolli: Ozzie's ain't the place for sentimental sounds! Asmodeus: What'd you expect from a proprietor like us? Fizzarolli: Your demon host, Asmodeus, the embodiment of lust! Asmodeus: Give me a thrust!

The entire song is a juxtaposition between these two ideas, not only in lyrics, but also in visuals.

Moxxie and Millie's parts are full of warm colors, like pink and yellow:

Moreover, a lot of romantic cliches are used: the serenade for an anniversary, the pink hearts, even a kiss on a flying platform with intertwined tails:

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli's color scheme is instead colder, with a lot of blue and purples (Asmodeus's colors):

What is more, the couple keeps referencing sexual practices and erotic games and they even improvise a fake striptease on stage:

Basically Moxxie/Millie and Asmodeus/Fizzarolli celebrate different kinds of bonds through opposite performances. M&M offer an instrumental love song, which is classic and sweet in lyrics and sounds. OzziexFizz instead put on a show full of brilliant tricks and jazzy tunes.

What about Stolitz?

They are still part of the performance, but they are so in a passive way, just like they are passive in their own relationship. Their bond is stagnant and unclear, so they lack the words to celebrate it. This is why they do not sing and instead become props in Fizz and Ozzie's show:

Fizzarolli: Is that Blitzo? So, you're showin' your face? Hey, everybody! This guy's a total disgrace!

Asmodeus: Who's that at your table? Is your date a demon prince? Stolas, is that you?

They are even given a specific red color scheme, which highlights their uneasiness:

And by the end they are humiliated:

You sold your life for a thrust! Now, that's the spirit of lust!

Stolitz embody the spirit of lust, but in a negative way:

Blitz is mocked by Verosika for being bad at sex. He is basically told he is bad at lust.

Stolas is called out by Asmodeus for giving up his life in exchange of some cheap pleasure. Not even artful lust, but just a quick thrust.

Basically, Stolitz is presented as a mess. A relationship rooted in lust, which can't even fully enjoy it. That is why they are the negation of the negation. Neither love nor lust. A bond, which ends in loneliness.

STOLITZ: YOU ARE GONNA DIE ALONE

Blitz and Stolas are mocked for their (lack of) lust:

Verosika Mayday: Oh, Blitzo? I used to date him (date him, date him) I'd stroke him, I'd fellate him (fellate him, fellate him) Yeah, but when it was my turn (my turn, my turn) He did no reciprocatin' (what a dick bag) A selfish Imp in the sheets And just as bad in the streets A reckless, heart-breaking freak!

Asmodeus: Woo! My dark lord, how the mighty do fall! You used to have a smoking wife, a kid, you had it all I hope you didn't give it up so you and him could get it up~

Blitz is bad in the sheets and Stolas sold his priviliged life for some cheap arousal. However, in both cases the point isn't really lust, but something far deeper and more vulnerable:

Fizzarolli: Is that Blitzø? So you're showing your face? Hey everybody, this guy's a total disgrace! Some nerve you got to comment on a relationship Last I checked, your love life is a pile of shit!

Stolitz are not bad at sex. They are bad at relationships:

-Blitz is fine in bed, but he is scared of deeper relationships, which is why he ghosts Verosika:

Blitzo: EVERYONE'S SHITTY! Hello, we live in Hell! Why am I suddenly the bad guy for sucking at relationships?! (...) Verosika: How do you think I felt? When the fun guy I was dating decided to just bail on me because I made the shitty mistake of saying I love… Ugh! It was the most embarrassing feeling. To be vulnerable for once and… you really just know how to send a message in the shittiest, fucking way.

Verosika insults Blitz's sexual prowess, but what she is really angry about is Blitz's selfishness and emotional immaturity.

-Stolas's story with Blitz isn't just the whim of a pompous Goetia, but it is Stolas's first real attempt at happiness. He hides his romantic dream behind a lustful persona, but deep down he wants to belong with someone:

Stolas: You wanna know what I want? I want to know what it's like, to not be alone. I want to be someone's someone. I want to feel wanted. But like, in a romantic way, like I'm standing out in the rain at a train station and someone is shouting: “Harriet! Don’t get on that train, it’s going to London and I cannot be without you!”

He wants more than occasional lust. He longs for a real relationship.

So, for both Blitz and Stolas lust is a mask. It is an easy coping mechanism that lets them enjoy a relationship without truly committing. They do not really have to put in the effort with each other, so they do not risk rejection. After all, rejection is scary:

As Blitz hallucinates: Stolas: You're going to die aloooo-one! Fizzarolli (hallucination): You're gonna die alone, Blitzo!

Stolas: Prince, all alone, upon your throne Your power is so frail You raise your voice You have no choice Inside your gilded jail

Both Blitz and Stolas are scared of dying alone, so they gravitate towards each other. At the same time, they see no real future for their bond. As a matter of fact they can neither have a detached lustful relationship like the one Fizz and Asmodeus (apparently :P) have nor an openly romantic one like Millie and Moxxie's. In general, they can have no relationship because:

1- When it comes to the microchosm, they can't communicate:

Stolas: We could talk, or… watch a movie, or… maybe cuddle? Blitzo: Stolas, don't act like what we have is anything but you wanting me to fuck you, okay? You make that really clear all the time. But, I just, I-I can't do it tonight, okay?

They want and believe different things. Stolas slowly realizes he wants more than just a night of passion once in a while. Blitz doesn't believe he and Stolas's utilitaristic bond can ever become something different.

2- When it comes to the macrochosm, they belong to different social classes:

Wally Wackford: Are you sleepin' with an Imp?!

Stolitz are not Imps like Millie and Moxxie, who are expected to end up together. Rather, they are like Fizz and Ozzie. As a result, the Jester and the King of Lust come to embody the only kind of relationship Blitz and Stolas can hope to achieve:

Blitz can reach Stolas's level only if he is useful to the Goetia. Just like Fizz's talent as an entertainer makes him a suitable business partner for Ozzie.

Stolas is justified in sleeping with an Imp, only if it is devoid of any feelings or deeper emotions. Just like Ozzie presents his utilitaristic relationship with Fizz. Entertaining, but purely physical.

Except that Fizz and Ozzie themselves are obviously more than what they seem. They too are using lust as a mask.

FIZZ X OZZIE: THE EMBODIMENT OF LUST

This is how Fizz and Ozzie want others to see them:

Fizzarolli: Ya mind? Trying to have an unemotional bang sesh here! Asmodeus: Yeah! Cuz we're so NOT in love! Fizzarolli: Yeah! Love. Is. STUPID!

This is how they actually are (and how everyone sees them):

They have to hide their genuine love behind an emotionless lustful facade. In other words:

1- When it comes to the microchosm, they are fine:

They clearly love each other, get along well and want the same things. They are even able to communicate decently, as shown later on in MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli).

2- When it comes to the macrochosm, they struggle:

Asmodeus's status as the sin of lust makes it difficult for him to openly commit to a relationship with Fizzarolli. This is why the two of them have to initially hide their involvement with each other (even if they are awfukl at it).

So, Ozzie and Fizz are fine with each other, but Hell can't accept their relationship. In a sense, the social pressure they feel is even worse than the one Stolitz experience, as Ozz and Fizz are far more famous than Stolas and Blitz. This makes so that OzziexFizz's mutual declaration of love nicely contrasts Stolitz's lack of one.

Blitzo: He's just a fake, privileged asshole! Fizzarolli: Sounds like you just hate him for bein' a prince. Because no one, and I mean no one pretends to care that much just for a cheap lay. Blitzo: Point is, royal demons don't give a shit about guys like us. They're all the fuckin' same. Fizzarolli: That's not…! A-always true…

Fizzarolli openly calls out Blitz's excuses about his relationship with Stolas and tells him being royal means nothing in the face of love.

Mammon: Ha-ha, hooo. Look who's acting like a big fuckin' hero. Careful what you say, Ozzie. Wouldn't want your little secret getting out, would we? Asmodeus: I don't care anymore! Fizzarolli: Ozz? Mammon: Because if you let him quit, I could tell everyone here that you- Asmodeus: What? That I love him? Well, I do!

Asmodeus publicly announces his love for Fizzarolli, which is what Stolas initially struggles to do.

At the same time, Ozzie and Fizz's development happens in season 2. By the end of season 1 they are still struggling with their problems and hiding the nature of their relationship. This is why they symbolically lose to Moxxie and Millie.

M&M: I LOVE YOU (THE THEME)

M&M are the winners of the thematic confrontation that takes place in House of Asmodeus. In particular:

Moxxie does not change his song to fit Asmodeus and Fizzarolli's tune:

Moxxie: I want to… Fizzarolli: Yeah, what do you want? Butt stuff? Piss play? Bondage? Moxxie: Make gentle love to you

Millie ruins Asmodeus and Fizzarolli's big finale and asks Moxxie to finish his song:

Millie: I think you were trying to sing something for me, Mox. Moxxie: Yeah, I was.

They sing the way they want and do not let Fizzarolli and Asmodeus degrade their relationship. They are able to do so because their relationship is strong both when it comes to the microchosm and to the macrochosm.

1- The microchosm

Moxxie and Millie have shown multiple times to be fond of each other. Not only that, but they are complementary and supportive of each other. So far, their major conflict happens in Unhappy Campers because Moxxie lets his insecurity (his major flaw that he shares with Blitz) get the best of him. However, he is quick to get over it once he is called out by Millie:

Millie: For once, I feel like… tears forming like I'm important. Like I'm someone to be proud of… And I had hoped that my husband would be there to support me half as much as I've supported him this week!

Moxxie: I am very proud to introduce to you peeks over to Millie, who was now being moved by Moxxie's appearance Someone with abilities never before seen on this Earth. Someone with the raw athletic skill of an Olympian. The voice of an angel. gestures to Millie as the spotlight now shines on her The acrobatic technique of an indentured 12-year-old Russian ballerina. And a body that - JUST. DOESN'T. QUIT. The best, and most supportive person I've ever known and the love of my life. My wife- Brotheeeeer… Millerd!

When they face a problem, Millie openly tells Moxxie what's wrong and Moxxie is quick to do better. Their fight is solved and their usual dynamic is re-established.

2- The macrochosm

Moxxie and Millie are two Imps, so they are expected by society to be together. And yet, they too struggle with others disliking their relationship. Specifically, both their families are against their union:

Millie's parents think their daughter deserves a stronger and more traditionally masculine husband

Moxxie's father wants to use his son as a tool for his criminal empire and tries to force him into an unwanted marriage

However, Moxxie and Millie are able to resist their families' pressure.

Millie: Moxxie, I'm fiiiine! I got worse than this during the flower tufts at my brother's weddin'. But I caught that fuckin' bouquet, and it was fuckin' worth it! You just have to get out there, and fuck up that brownnosin' cocksucker for me!

Moxxie: I said I'm not doing it, sir. I've spent my whole life being afraid of you, but I'm not giving up the only good thing I've ever had just so you can keep your fragile little sense of control over everything. Millie is a good woman, a better woman than I deserve, and there's nothing that scares me more than hurting her.

Millie affirms she is proud of her husband, whereas Moxxie resists his father for Millie's sake. Moreover, both Moxxie and Millie call out their respective parents in law for their partner's sake:

Moxxie: Y'know, she protected me. And maybe I'm not a strong beefy dickhead, but Millie has the strength enough for both of us! You two are getting on her case about being hurt by a psychopath you hired?! Shaaaaame on you!

Millie: This ass is MINE!

So, even M&M, who should be free from social expectations meet them. Still, they overcome them out of their wish to stay together.

In the end, this is why they are victorious in the musical skirmish at Ozzie's:

Moxxie: I love us I love us just the way we are Don't have to pretend to like to do things we don't I've always got you around to laugh at my stupid jokes I'll never take you for granted I'll always give you my best And if you can offer the same Fate will handle the rest 'Cause I love you 'Cause I love you

Differently from both Stolas/Blitz and Asmodeus/Ozzie, they do not hide neither themselves nor their love. Through each other, they are free to be their real selves and this gives them the strength to face the world's judgement. This is how they are able to stand proud in front of the king of lust. They do not need Asmodeus's approval because they have each other.

Ironically, they end up being the most openly lustful couple:

Their song is a metaphor for sex (just look at Moxxie's vagina-shaped guitar) and their ginal kiss is the only sexual act to happen on stage.

What does it mean? Simple: Moxxie and Millie are openly showing the nature of their bond. As a result, they are more lustful than even the embodiment of lust himself. After all, isn't Ozzie's about showcasing your deepest desires with no shame? Well, this is what Moxxie and Millie do. In juxtaposition, both Stolitz and Fizz x Ozz mask their wishes and feelings.

So, M&M finish their song and the public cheers for them. Their exhibition gives Ozzie and Fizz a moment of intimacy:

They happily celebrate that part of their bond they can't show and that is similar to Moxxie and Millie's.

Stolas and Blitz are instead left silent and confused because they are reminded of what they lack.

IDEALS AND REALITY

Theme-wise House of Asmodeus is a dissection of relationships, lust and love. Character-wise, it is a call out for Stolas and Blitz and a push for them to change.

Stolitz dream a relationship like the one M&M have. They want the ideal:

Blitzo: No, it's fine! I-I can come with the two of you, help you celebrate your boring as fuck monogamy. Moxxie: Uh, no. The reservation is for us. Blitzo: Uh huh! Moxxie: Just us. Blitzo: Mhm! Moxxie: Without you there. Explicitly without you there. Blitzo: I'll wear something nice. It's a big deal after all. See you lovebugs later!

Gabriella: Ay, why won't you love me Alejandro? Stolas: That's a mood, Gabriella.

Both Blitz and Stolas try to experience happy love stories by proxy. Blitz through Millie and Moxxie that he stalks and Stolas through the love drama that he binge-watches. This is their way to cope with loneliness. However, real relationships happen because the people involved put in the work. So, Stolas and Blitz can never obtain their dream love-life, if they do not face their flaws first.

Fizz and Ozz remind them of this in two ways.

On the one hand they openly call out Blitz and Stolas's flaws. Fizz highlights Blitz's troubles with relationships, wheread Ozzie draws attention to Stolas's privilege and unsolved family situation.

On the other hand they themselves are far more similar to Blitz and Stolas, then Moxxie and Millie are. They are one Imp and one Goetia, for starters. Moreover, Fizz and Blitz share similar issues, which stem from their childhood. Stolas and Asmodeus instead are trapped by their status.

In other words, Fizz and Ozzie destroy the ideal and force Blitz and Stolas to change and grow. Symbolically, they do so by attacking both M&M and Stolitz's relationship. However, Moxxie and Millie in the end don't give a fuck. Nothing that Fizz and Ozzie do have any long impact on them nor on their relationship. This isn't the same for Stolitz. Some quick jabs are enough to make their current dynamic collapse. That is because Moxxie and Millie share a real relationship. Stolas and Blitz instead share a fantasy and they need to turn it into reality.

Okay so cute Stolitz headcanons, let's see how many my brain will let me type before I lose my train of thought!

1. Blitzø LOVES giving Stolas kisses on his beak and Stolas loves how it feels (because birds feel a lot of the world with their beaks). Blitzø calls it the "prettiest beak ever" and Stolas blushes because he still isn't accustomed to getting compliments on his appearance.

2. After Blitzø takes Stolas on countless dates, Stolas returns the favor by taking Blitzø to see wild horses in the living world. Blitzø spends all day trying to befriend the horses and eventually makes friends with one. He tries to recreate old circus routines on the back of the wild horse before getting bucked off and covered in mud. Stolas freaks out until Blitzø stands up again, unharmed. He explains he learned to fall safely a LONG time ago. Blitzø brushes off as much mud as he can and tells Stolas that, once he gets cleaned up, he's going to remind him that horses aren't the only thing he can "ride" 😏

3. I had a reblog the other day where I said Blitzø jumps into the air to catch the bouquet at the Fizzmodeus wedding, climbs up Stolas to shove the bouquet in his face...

So I have another one where Fizzarolli goes to toss the bouquet, but his arms just keep extending, snaking around the wedding guests until they stop right in front of Stolas. Stolas takes them, confused. He feels a tug at his tail and turns around to see Blitzø on one knee with a ring held up as high as he can reach. Cue Stolas sobbing, picking up Blitzø, who is also sobbing. Me? I am also sobbing. The wedding guests had tears in their eyes until the loving Stolitz kisses turn a bit more than PG-13 in front of everyone. Fizz is cackling like a mad man, Ozzie is holding back laughter himself. Loona and Octavia have already started to dig into the buffet and ignore their dads.

As a big time Radioapple shipper, I would love it if Radioapple writers didn't like, bash Lilith?

I've seen a handful of writers make Lilith downright abusive. Saying Lucifer's ducks are ridiculous, that his dreams are outlandish, even going so far as to say he's useless or pathetic. This is often used to highlight the difference between Lilith and Alastor when Alastor is shockingly understanding, as if Lilith wouldn't be and is portrayed as and ice queen. Which is nothing like what little we know of her.

The intro says she inspired demonkind. In the pilot, there are posters of her encouraging Sinners to resist against the Exterminations. Charlie is so sure that Lilith would support her hotel. The paintings in Lucifer's office show a loving, happy family.

People who love each other can grow apart without either being outright abusive.

Lucifer's Fall came with a great deal of despair, exacerbated by the cruelty he saw in Sinners. His depression was in direct opposition to Lilith's hopes.

And then there's his AuDHD, which probably leads to him focusing on one thing or another and losing track of time, time he could be spending with his family. Not like he means to be away, it just happens.

And of course he's so socially awkward and Lilith is inspirational, so any "royal duties" probably fell on Lilith's shoulders rather than Lucifer's.

That's a lot of strain on the relationship without either one being particularly cruel or at fault. Just drifting apart.

It's possible Lilith kept Charlie from Lucifer when they split, but there's so many reasons she could have done that. If he got focused on something, he might not pay enough attention to her and she get hurt for example. There's also the possibility of anything Lilith was doing behind Lucifer's back to help Hell have something to do with Charlie.

And Lucifer is still wearing his ring, keeps up family portraits as a reminder. If there was any resentment for her at all, he could have covered up Lilith. We've seen Blitzø scribble out his own face in photographs and scribbled over Verosika on his calendar, and Stolas cover all portraits and revealing only Octavia. It's not out of the realm of possibility. But he didn't and he keeps that reminder of her with him.

And while very much not canon, I've seen Viv like fanart of Lucifer showing his ducks to Lilith and her loving them. Lucifer is adorable and do you think he was any LESS silly before his hopes were shattered? No! If anything, he was probably SILLIER when she fell in love with him. All that creative power and imagination, only scolding to dampen his sparkle, and not scolding from Lilith. He would tell her all about his funny ideas and would she have married him if she didn't love that about him?

Lucifer and Lilith were very much in love at first. The only hint we have that Lilith is actually a horrible person is that the person that is presumably her made some deal with Adam and has been chilling somewhere outside of Hell for the last seven years without telling her daughter anything at all. Which there could be so many reasons for.

And that dark look she gave to Lute doesn't have to be her being annoyed at having to go back to Hell to her family. Lute is a bitch, and also just called Lilith's daughter a bitch. Like...do you expect her to smile at her??? Lute sucks. (for the record, I hate her as a character, which I think means she's a good character. And her voice is AMAZING and I need to hear her sing more after You Didn't Know because WOW)

All that is to say, a separation doesn't have to be from abuse and it can still be hard to move on. AND you don't have to hate your ex to move on to dating someone else.

You don't need to villainize Lilith to make Alastor look good. Part of Alastor's appeal is that he's a complex contradictory bastard. If you want his behavior compared to something to make him look good, use his past actions. If he's getting kinder, sweeter, more understanding, his old antagonism would contrast it. And if you want to use someone else, Adam's right there! And he SUCKS! (I like him as a character tho, he's hilarious)

I don't like shipping Lucifer with Adam, but I know some people do, and I also like the idea that they were friends before everything fell apart. But Adam is all the negative things Alastor is not.

Both of them are prideful, but so is Lucifer. And Alastor generally wields his pride with grace while Adam never shuts the fuck up about himself.

Adam clearly has little to no respect for women, just by how he treats Lilith and Vaggie and even Charlie. Alastor holds women in high regard, and most of the people he seems to have actual relationships with are women, Niffty, Rosie, Mimzy, and even Charlie.

Adam is always talking about sex and bragging about how much he fucks, and says that Charlie and Vaggie's relationship is "hot as fuck" which, ew. Alastor, meanwhile, is (obliviously) asexual, has a general disregard for sexuality, and open disdain for hypersexuality.

Adam is very openly uncouth and brash and rude and constantly swearing. Alastor is vicious, but he is charming and genteel all the while, and swears a whole of three four times in season one. First, the "Fuck you" to Lucifer in Episode Five (it took him that long to swear ONCE), and then twice in Episode Eight, once when first letting loose in his fight against Adam, and second when he was stunned right before getting wounded (edit addition: and also once in Episode Seven when he called Susan an "ornery old bitch" and I have NO IDEA how I forgot that). Adam drops cunt in the first episode.

Adam is also an open book where Alastor is a puzzle hidden behind a smile.

If you wanna compare Alastor, or anyone else you'd ship Lucifer with, to someone he might have been close to from all the way back in Eden times, Lilith isn't the only option there.

Let Lilith say one word before you decide she's evil, yeah?
