#This drawing is kind of personal to me#I recently graduated (CUM LAUDE WOOOO!!!!) and its like. not to get depressing#but when i was younger i was never sure whether i would make it to this point#When i was going through what i consider to still be like. the worst time of my entire life#This fictional character was there for me and she was something for me to latch onto and cope with#eGem helped me a lot with being able to process my emotions at the time but also helped me to reflect on myself#which i think is a big reason as to why I'm really happy with where i am with myself right now#I'm going off to uni next school year to study astronomy!!! which!!!#Im also doing because of eGem!!! #obv heartstopper is the first thing that comes to mind#which i started reading when i was like sixteen and fell in love with instantly#but im reading one of her book books rn and i forgot how talented she is at bringing u into a character's life#and helping u feel their emotions and such#radio silence is the name of it i forgot to say#it's a bit cheesy sometimes bc it's from a teenager's perspective and u can't avoid that but i still am rlly rlly enjoying it#reading easier books to get me back into reading has been so fun though#i read 'a magical girl retires' by park seolyeon and had a great time. very unique take on everything#gonna probably get into gideon the ninth next#but oneshot books are so fun#+ they remind me of how much i loved reading as a kid lol#but yeah. sorry to the tenderqueer haters but i can't help enjoying myself when it comes to stories like hers

sometimes she refers to him as "uncle val" :'^) it's said sarcastically, especially when he tries to give her any sort of advice or lecture, but nisha does mean it some. he's a long-time customer and has earned his title as a family friend, it's hard not to feel a bit of a bond with somebody you see and talk to so frequently!
