Actual photo of me attempting to piece together all the new info and lore from totk with what we learned in botw with the rest of the franchise's lore and my own headcanons so I can RP a character I've been building for 10+ years, circa 2023:

#ooc tag tbd #this will forever be one of my hangups with these two games in general #its like they want to start over and do something related but different #in like an au or something #but they keep putting in these concrete nuggets of info that indisputably link these events to ones from the other games #without really linking them to anything going on in this era with anything real solid #that we're just left hanging with this thing that feels completely COMPLETELY separate but also not #and its very frustrating #like i like what theyre doing #but i wish they would pick a side #either do something new #or do like the other games did in the past #where they might not be direct sequels but the threads linking(heh) them still make them feel solidly related #and they obvs didnt do this perfectly but #anyway rambling

can i say something. for years i thought the joke of the song short skirt/long jacket by cake was that he wanted a woman who was hung like a horse. like i thought when he says jacket it was a last-second fakeout because he very obviously meant to say cock. and the rest of the things in the song were just her personality and interests. which were secondary to her awesome penis

Keeper -- a short comic about an angel meeting a robotic lighthouse keeper that doesn't know the world has already ended. Made in about 18 hours for a 24-hour 24-page* black and white comic challenge (that I arrived late to, ha.)

*the actual submission does not include the cover, which was created after the fact for this post.

This was a really great learning experience as someone who's... never really made a completed comic. I ended up really attached to the story by the end of the project (possibly due to all-nighter deliriousness lol) and ultimately am very proud of what I made.There are some things I'd still like to change, particularly text placement, but in keeping with the spirit of the challenge I've elected to leave it as is.
