Any post that contains the phrase "you" in a big, general, plural sense that automatically accuses the reader of being part of the "you" that op is rhetorically berating are deeply, deeply unhelpful in regard to compassion fatigue. It's also just manipulative; the clear intention is to pressure anyone reading it into reblogging it in order to prove they are not part of the "you" being accused.
These posts bother me and I understand that the authors of these posts are feeling powerless and have learned that screaming and yelling and shaming is an effective tactic because they weren't given enough attention to meet their needs through other methods. But again, it's going to increase compassion fatigue and increase the use of shame as a method of social control, which is not ideal.

Hi ! This is an important post, especially if you are new on Tumblr !
Just a reminder that on Tumblr only reblogs help posts being seen ! Likes ? Useless ! It’s use for sorting blogs, reminders and Hugs for the mutuals ! Commenting ? Useless ! It’s just commenting, everyone can read it, but it does nothing else ! Tumblr as no algorithm, if you want everyone to see a post you have to reblog it ! Or else no one will see it ! So please reblog artists, content creators, fundraisers post if you want to support and help them cause if you don’t reblog it won’t be seen from your side ! Hope this help newcomers ! Thank you all 🫶

Hullo to my fellow fandom creators.
How you guys doing? Good? Good.
I just wanted to drop you a little note to say I hope you’re all having fun out here. Because fun is what it’s all about, right? Fun and excitement and hobbies and interests and all that good stuff!
While I’ve been wandering about in my little corner here at tumblr dot com, I gotta tell you, it can be so easy to get discouraged sometimes. Like SO easy. And I dunno folks, I guess I just wanted to remind you (and me!) that when we create stuff for our fandoms, it’s for fun! Because we love it! Because we love making it! We love sharing it! We love the source material and the characters and the world-building and all that other neat stuff!
Sometimes we all need a little reminder, I find. Because sometimes people don’t like what we’re making. Sometimes they’ll be rude or complain and make demands about how fandom "cOnTeNt” (yuck) should be made (double yuck) and act kind of entitled about it. And idk, that gets kind of disheartening. Especially when you’re pouring all your heart and soul into what you’re making, simply for the love of it.
So! Yeah I just wanted to check in with you folks because I’m seeing a lot of that weird entitlement in various fandoms lately, and from one creator to another, I wanted to just say -if I may wax poetic for a moment here- nuts to those people. Nuts to ‘em. NUTS, I TELL YOU.
Not everyone is going to like the stuff you make, and that's okay. The important thing is to remember that their opinions have nothing to do with you or me or anyone else making art or fics or edits or whatever our little hearts desire. Just because what you're making doesn't tick someone else's personal boxes doesn't mean that what you're making is wrong or bad!
If people want specific stuff in fandom, they can make it. If they don’t like what we’re making, they can move on - that's fine. If they want to publicly whine about it and try to make it everyone else's problem, that's their baggage and we don't have to take any of that on board. It’s no reflection on you if someone wants to demand that their own specific tastes be met, rather than actually taking part in the community in a positive way. Because we’re here for fun, aren’t we.
Are you having fun? Good. That’s all that matters.
Go make something cool and fun, and have a great day!
Love you!

a pet peeve of mine is when ppl/creators say asexual when they mean aroace, i know its expecting a lot of the average person but man i wish people would use the word aromantic more i cant help it
like i totally adore aro, ace, and aroace characters yes more please but i just wish people would use the correct terms cuz then people will ship these asexual characters romantically and people will get mad at them or (ive seen it more rarely but) people will write aromantic characters having sex and people will get mad at them like babes they are two different things! a person can be both absolutely but i, as an arospec person who is not asexual in any way and feel stupid amounts of sexual attraction, am here to tell you that you need to differentiate sometimes like ill give you a handy guide
arospec/aromantic = not feeling/rarely feeling romantic attraction
acespec/asexual = not feeling/rarely feeling sexual attraction
aroace = both
there are combinations and complexities and each real person is going to describe themselves differently, but stop acting as if people with romantic headcanons for ace characters or sexual headcanons for aro characters are bad people because theyre not

Just wanted to share this cuz this is fucking ridiculous
“This is not a form harassment”
I think it is. First you drew over someone’s artwork and then display this with a blog that is “fuck pro shipping”
If this is something that truly bothers you please either block the tags or block the blog there really isn’t a need for this.
