None of yall are the fic police. I DESPISE genai. I think its an insult to art, humanity, and the planet itself. But aint not a single fucking person here qualified to pick apart a strangers fic looking for a gotcha moment to make yourselves feel superior. If you think something is ai you can ask the author (most are proud of the ai use and will just tell you straight up) if they say yes you have your answer and can warn people. If they say no and you dont believe them you block and quietly keep it between you and maybe a close group of friends. Spreading misinformation is DANGEROUS. And NONE of you doing this shit are anywhere near qualified to do it.

Mine was Goddess girls and the Whatever After series. Goddess girls was s really really bad retelling of Greek mythology and all the characters were in high school and Zeus was the principle and Whatever after is a about this girl going into the traditional fairytales instead of the Disney ones and changing the ending. I remember the snow queen the was the last one I read which was 'Whatever After Cold as Ice' and of course Harry Potter.

Oh god.... Technically my first fandom was Harry Potter but I didn't participate in that until I got into what is my second fandom..... My hero academia (Yeah yeah I know just ignore the drama the show is actually good.)

My current one is the Marauders fandom (I couldn't kick Harry Potter) and All for the game (I'm OBSESSED with All for the game)

And what they have in common, kids fighting adults battles, violence, and a disgruntled dad/uncle figure who half doesn't want to be there and half would die for their kids (Sirius, Remus, Aizawa, and Coach Wymack)

I have a strong urge to make a fancomic of the girls meeting as roommates where the premise would basically be: Rumi is renting out rooms in her apartment for a low price due to her wanting some company and Mira & Zoye jump on the opportunity since they need somewhere to stay and college is expensive as it is and they end up falling for each other and all of that good cliche fanfic stuff happens and I need to make this fic exist rn

Helpful and Preventative Stretches for Writers, Artists, and Gamers 💪🎨✍🎮

If you type, write, draw, game, or generally use your hands a lot (especially if you’re prone to RSI or Carpal Tunnel!) try these stretches as both a preventative measure, and on the spot relief. Take care of yourself and your body, friends!

Start with hands up, fingers stretched out.  Stretch your thumb as far as you can over your palm. Hold and repeat 4 times.

Touch each finger to your thumb. Hold each for 30 seconds. Repeat on each hand 4 times.

Start with a fist. Open half way, hold for 2 seconds. Stretch fingers out, hold for 2 seconds. Repeat 4 times.

Start with one arm out, palm up. Pull your fingers back with your other hand. Hold for 10 seconds. Do the same with your other hand. Repeat 4 times

Start with arms up, palms out. Bend wrists down until you feel the stretch, but keep your fingers loose. Hold 10 seconds. Bend wrist upwards, until you feel it in your wrist and arm. Hold 10 seconds. Repeat 4 times.

Andrew Minyard who checks under Neil and his bed at night before getting in because Neil is scared of monsters under it.

Realistically Neil knows there are know big mystical scary monsters under his bed that'll try to eat him but that was one of his ways to cope when he was living with his father, because he and his mother were humans in a house full of monsters and there were so many rituals they had to follow to stay safe, Mary had started checking under Neil's bed when he asked, it was the only way to get her son to sleep alone in his big bedroom that seems to empty for a kid his age. There were supposed to be tons of toys and books but Neil had a stuff animal and his baby blanket and that was it.

So naturally when Mary stole Neil, after her son had watched his father kill and dismembere someone violently she grabbed the baby blanket and stuffed fox (A attempt to train herself into associating Neil's hair with the animal instead of Nathan) and she checked under their bed before getting in an sleeping with her back to her son. Because Neil had just lost his childhood innocence keeping those two things and checks under his bed was the least she could do to let him be a kid, if only for a moment.

When Mary had Died Neil stopped sleeping in places monsters could hide under him. He'd sleep on the floor of a house he was squatting in or on the schools bleachers or a bench in the locker room. His fox was wrapped up in the baby blanket (so at least he could have some comfort) and stuffed to the bottom of his duffle bag.

That's another reason he didn't want anyone going through his stuff, yes the contacts and stalker binder were bad and would get him in trouble if discovered but the blanket and fox despite the most careful handling were starting to deteriorate and he didn't want someone hurting his fox anymore than he'd already been hurt or ripping his blanket with uncaring hands.

So when Andrew looked through his bag, he packed and repacked and checked everything a hundred times over but he also, privately checked over his fox and blanket and found absolutely zero new damage done to either of them. And while Neil hated Andrew for invading his privacy a small part of him felt comforted knowing that Andrew would be gentle with things like this.

Neil of course couldn't check under his bed in the dorms, he had the top bunk but he supposed no monsters could reach him when he was up that high. Or at least that's what he told himself each night so he could sleep.

And now... Now Neil sat in bed with a freshly meanded stuffed fox and a sewn together baby blanket as he watched Andrew checked under their bed and he felt safe and loved and even though he knew it was stupid Neil absolutely adored the fact that Andrew learned to sew so he could fix Neil's childhood comfort items and indulged Neil by checking under the bed every night before murmuring a soft "There are no monsters Junki. You're safe." against his lips once he climbed into bed.
