If I see one more person can Vander and Silco under a clearly romatic Zaundads post (like fucking kissing) I think I'll kill myself. They're brothers in arms. Also Silco uses "brothers and daughters of zaun" to refer to the whole of the under city so it's obvious he uses the term like people use "my brothers and sisters in Chris" then proceeded to flirt with said brother or sister because they only ever see each other at church. It's fucking annoying and they are clearly not blood related. Of course anything is possible look at Vi and Jinx they don't really look related but here we are. So if they somehow get confirmed to be blood brothers I'll admit I was wrong.
Edit: I ment Christ but chris is funnier
#also Jayce and Viktor are referred to as brothers#like they called each other brother#yet everyone ignores that#But when Silco and Vander are shipped all I see are hate comments#Calling them brothers#Fucking hide the post or block the creator or just scroll omg#its not that hard#I saw these on Pinterest tho and nobody who comments on that app cares if they're being absolute dicks#zaundads#silco x vander#vander x silco#blisters and bedrock#they were so gay in that episode#And in the alt reality#reg rants

Not to be mean, but sometimes i am surprised by how many ppl need stuff to be EXPLICITLY spelled out for them to get it.
Specific example: saw a tiktok of the scene where Jayce prevents Viktor from killing himself (something which, apparently, ALSO wasnt clear to everyone) and he starts talking about the competition and about how he was afraid a cog would take someones eye out and viktor is like "at least you didnt throw up" and someone was in the comments like "wait, do yall think that means viktor threw up???". Yes. Yes that is what that means, why else would he even mention that. And then multiple comments "why did he throw up?? Did he drink too much?" No?! What? Its obviously because he was nervous because they were both very inexperienced and its implied that this was one of the first times they had to present their work, is that not obvious??
Also the AMOUNT of ppl who didnt get that huck was the guy who got saved by vander in one of the first eps and then later betrayed vi is astounding, they even make a reference to that in the show 😭😭
Also so many ppl not knowing that the girl from viktors flashback is sky? THEY ARE CALLING HER NAME.
And GOD why did so many ppl think vander and silco were actual, blood-related brothers and then got really angry and insulting when ppl ship them?? Buddy, YOU misunderstood something and immediately jumped to aggression, chill out.
Im fully convinced that this is bc so many ppl are using like 3 other devices while watching shows, which, you do you, but then PLEASE dont complain that a show was hard to follow or a twist was unbelievable or that the plot was incoherent, youre deadass just not paying attention and its making shows worse bc now executives feel like they need to be more "second screen friendly". Please dont make your fried attention span everyone elses problem.
#like im on my phone too!!!!!#but usually during rewatches or when i KNOW im not gonna have to pay attention#its the fact that ppl negatively judge shows bc they dont accomodate their lack of attention.....#rant over#m

I love the concept that Viktor ends up with Jayce’s last name through some originally non-romantic means so much that I have multiple versions.
Jayce accidentally gives Viktor his last name by being so insistent on putting Viktor’s name first in every circumstance. When he’s listing their names on anything he puts them down as “Viktor and Jayce Talis”. When he introduces them to people he says “Nice to meet you, this is Viktor and I’m Jayce Talis” with a pause before Talis because he always forgets that he should say his house name too. Viktor slowly starts to notice that they’re referred to in the tabloids as “the Talises” and that higher ups at the academy will introduce him to investors as “Viktor Talis” without Jayce even being there.
When they first start working together, they put their initials next to things in their shared notes to mark when they have questions or agree with something the other wrote, or to differentiate when someone is dictating while the other talks. In an effort to not have it confused with a variable, Viktor initials VT (VikTor) as a bit of a joke to look similar to Jayce’s JT. However, one day when Heimerdinger is looking over their notes, he marks out a question in the margin for Viktor with “Viktor Talis” written out next to it in full. Viktor and Jayce debate for a moment after he leaves if it was supposed to mean it was for both of them, but the contents of the question makes it entirely clear that Heimerdinger things VT stands for Viktor Talis and has accepted that Viktor has adopted Jayce’s last name with no questions.
At the beginning of Hextech, as they are trying to get investors, Viktor regularly gets identified as being from the undercity and harassed for it by wealthy Pilties when he tells them his name is “just Viktor” when asked what house he is from. So one day Jayce suggests just telling investors that his last name is also Talis, thinking that people will assume they are brothers. Viktor gets flustered and tries to politely decline, but Jayce seems to confident that he lets it happen. It takes him weeks to figure out that Jayce doesn’t realize that everyone thinks they’ve gotten married or plan to. Viktor doesn’t have the heart to tell him and won’t let Mel break the illusion.
Jayce takes Viktor on a tour of the forge and when he gets done takes a hammer to jokingly knight him and dub him “officially part of house Talis” Jayce thinks nothing of it until the next time they meet someone new together when he almost spits out his drink hearing Viktor introduce himself as “Viktor Talis”
Some investor that they fucking hate can’t keep their names straight for some reason but always sees Jayce wearing his house sigil so he says “ah, Viktor Talis” every time he sees Jayce. They find it so fucking funny that even just saying “Viktor Talis” sends them into uncontrollable laughter.
Ximena refers to them exclusively as “my boys” to the point that most people who met her after Hextech was founded assume that she has two sons, Jayce Talis and Viktor Talis. She doesn’t feel the need to correct them as she does truly love them both as her children and is also quietly hoping one day Jayce will get his head out of his ass and ask Viktor out on a date.

Queer Coding in Media: The Case of Jayce and Viktor.
Let's address what Christian Linke recently said about Jayce and Viktor's relationship because this is making some noise in the community:
According to the co-creator, Jayce and Viktor love each other like “brothers”.
Christian states that he doesn't understand why people see their relationship as a romantic one.
Linke also added, after the end of the series, that Viktor is canonically asexual and dismissed a possible romantic relationship with Jayce due to that reason.
We'll expand on these points next. But first, some context.
| About queer coding...
If Jayce and Viktor's relationship is seen as beyond brotherly, it's because it was portrayed that way. Their relationship is very queer coded.
Queer coding refers to the practice of subtly implying that a character in a piece of media is part of the LGBTQ+ community without explicitly stating or confirming it. This is often achieved through subtext, symbolism or specific character traits associated with queerness. This often arises due to societal restrictions, censorship or creators intentionally embedding queer elements into their work.
Queer coding for a couple in media involves using subtle visual, narrative or dialogue-based cues to suggest a romantic or deeply intimate connection between two characters without explicitly confirming their relationship as romantic or LGBTQ+. This type of queer coding focuses on the dynamic between the two characters rather than just one individual's traits.
When discussing queer coding in media, the examples can include both the content of the relationship itself (dialogues, interactions and dynamics) and visual and non-visual narrative (cinematographic techniques, narrative techniques and the use of music). Both aspects—content and narrative—are essential to queer coding because: a) Content provides the material that audiences can latch onto (dialogues, dynamics or gestures) and b) the narrative guides how the audience perceives this material (through visuals or music, for example).
Below are examples and methods used to queer code couples:
Content of the relationship (character dynamics and dialogues):
These are the in-universe moments or dialogues that give romantic or emotionally intense undertones to the relationship. For Jayce and Viktor, this includes:
1. Use of subtext in dialogue or relationships:
Ambiguous or "more-than-friendship" dynamics: Characters have intense emotional bonds or interactions that go beyond typical friendships but stop short of being explicitly romantic. Jayce and Viktor’s connection, for example, is filled with vulnerability, admiration and devotion beyond brotherhood. Their willingness to risk everything to save each other in each timeline adds a tragic, almost romantic layer to their bond. Jayce’s comment calling Viktor “beautiful despite his imperfections” and their mutual sacrifices suggest a deep connection that goes beyond friendship or platonic relationships. Their bond, tied to time loops and destiny, feels more like a soul bond with a cosmic significance that transcends a typical brotherly dynamic. In other cases, this would be a romance.
Loaded Dialogue: Lines of dialogue may carry double meanings or suggest emotional or physical intimacy without being overt (e.g., characters use ambiguous terms like partner, special or soulmate, which can suggest deeper feelings without explicitly labeling the relationship). For example, if one says, "I’d sacrifice everything for you," it resonates beyond platonic territory. Dialogue between Viktor and Jayce is filled with layered meanings that suggest a connection deeper than traditional friendship. Here are some examples:
When Viktor’s former mentor warns him about sacrificing love and legacy, Viktor instinctively replies "Jayce will understand," directly associating Jayce with love and signaling how central Jayce is to his emotional world. Similarly, Jayce’s decision to abandon politics to return to the lab is encapsulated in the line "my place was always here in the lab with you," which emphasizes that his devotion isn't just to their work but specifically to Viktor. The repeated use of "partner" by Jayce further blurs the lines between professional collaboration and emotional intimacy, as the word carries dual meanings, suggesting equality and closeness. The term is somewhere between friends, brothers and more than that. Hence, the term can be freely interpreted. Viktor later reflects on their bond by stating, "it was affection that held us together," acknowledging that their relationship transcended shared goals and was rooted in genuine emotional warmth. Finally, Jayce telling Viktor, "there is beauty in imperfections," as he admires Viktor’s struggles and physical challenges, conveys profound validation and care, elevating their bond to one of deep emotional resonance. These lines collectively demonstrate how their dialogue is charged with a sense of intimacy and mutual admiration, allowing the relationship to be interpreted as more than platonic, hinting at queer coding through its emotional depth and layered expressions.
2. Body language and interactions:
Lingering gazes or physical proximity: Close, lingering touches, extended eye contact or standing too close for “just friends” —common romantic cues—are often used. For example, long hugs, holding hands or standing closely during emotional moments are subtle ways of suggesting attraction or intimacy. In Jayce and Viktor's case, Jayce is almost always the one who initiates the physical contact. Jayce's non-verbal language with Viktor is marked by gestures of reassurence with a hand on his shoulder, hugs without centimeters of distance and fast moves to help Viktor in the face of his weakening due to his illness. An important detail to take into account is Jayce's reaction to Viktor and Mel's return. When Viktor returns from the dead, Jayce surprises his friend with a hug that knocks him off balance by his strength. When Mel returns after no one knew of her whereabouts, Jayce doesn't even hug her, but instead complains about why she didn't save Viktor.
Protective gestures: Scenes of one character sacrificing for, protecting or expressing deep vulnerability to another can suggest more intimate feelings. Jayce and Viktor's relationship also has the presence of hundreds of moments in which they both profess for the safety and well-being of the other. In season one, after having sex with Mel, she wakes up in an empty bed. It turns out that Jayce was with Viktor, waiting on the side of the bed for him to wake up. This detail alone shows where Jayce's loyalty lies. But, overall, Jayce is very delicate and helpful towards Viktor. In turn, the only moment in which Viktor initiates physical contact is to reassure Jayce so that he doesn't feel pain on the astral plane. Both join their foreheads in a significant gesture of appreciation and affection and console each other at the end of their existences.
3. Avoidance of heteronormativity:
Lack of romantic interest in the opposite sex: A queer-coded character may show no explicit attraction to the opposite sex while forming deep emotional bonds with same-sex characters. This is especially true for Victor, who has had no interest in any character of the opposite gender during the two seasons. The guilt Viktor felt over Sky's death shouldn't be confused with sexual, romantic or aesthetic attraction. Viktor practically didn't even know Sky's name during the first season and, despite knowing each other since childhood, Viktor continues to call her "Miss Young" during the second season. As you may already know, Sky's presence in the second part of Arcane represents what Viktor has left of humanity. Jayce is a separate case, since he did have a sexual-affective relationship with Mel, despite not being officially a couple. However, he always put Viktor's well-being above his relationship with Mel.
Unconventional partnerships: Instead of marrying, having children, or living “normal” lives, queer-coded characters often follow nontraditional paths. The unconventional partnership between Jayce and Viktor lies in their shared path of devoting their lives to science and progress instead of following more traditional societal expectations. Their bond, rooted in their shared ambition and mutual understanding, creates a life partnership that revolves around innovation, discovery and reshaping the world. Together, they prioritize their intellectual and creative pursuits over conventional relationships, with their lab becoming the core of their connection and purpose. This can be seen, for example, in the moment when Jayce decides to resign from politics because he realizes that his place is next to Viktor in the lab. This partnership not only defines their lives but also strengthens their relationship, making it deeply meaningful and unique in its intimacy and shared vision.
Visual and non-visual narrative (cinematographic techniques, narrative techniques and music):
These are the deliberate storytelling choices that imply deeper subtext or allow the audience to interpret a couple's bond as queer. Examples include:
1. Visual narrative:
Symbolism (in scenes): are visual and narrative moments intentionally designed to evoke ambiguity, emotional depth or hidden meanings in a relationship. These scenes often rely on subtext, metaphor or visual framing to suggest intimacy or connection between two characters, leaving their nature open to interpretation. For example, Jayce's campfire scene. Fire might symbolize Jayce's internal turmoil. Mel appearing first may reflect her role as a significant figure in Jayce's life, while Viktor appearing next could symbolize a deeper, enduring connection. The fire "burning away" Mel and transitioning to Viktor might suggest that, in this moment, Jayce's thoughts are consumed by Viktor, representing a priority or emotional focus shifting toward Viktor. So, Viktor isn't simply a colleague or friend but someone whose presence looms large in Jayce's thoughts, surpassing Mel's. While the scene might not explicitly state anything romantic, the visual choices align with tropes often used to convey profound emotional connections, making it easy to interpret the subtext as romantic or deeply personal.
The decision to interweave Viktor’s scene with Jayce and Mel's scene while having sex is highly unusual too. If Jayce and Viktor are purely platonic friends, such a juxtaposition does feel strange. I understand, both Jayce and Viktor are "merging" with something beyond themselves, but can you imagine a similar scene with Jinx and Vi? If Jayce and Viktor's relationship were purely professional, friendly or brotherly, such imagery wouldn't normally feel warranted in storytelling.
Parallelism: In storytelling, parallelism refers to the use of comparable or mirrored elements—such as characters, themes or visuals—to draw connections or contrasts. It often involves showing two or more situations, characters or relationships side-by-side to highlight their similarities, differences or shared significance within the narrative. In Arcane, the creators align Viktor with Mel through parallels. Through this technique, creators seem to suggest that Viktor holds a similar or even equivalent place in Jayce’s life. Since Mel’s relationship with Jayce is explicitly romantic, this framing subtly implies that Viktor could also occupy a romantic or emotionally intimate role.
2. Non-visual narrative:
Music and Lyrics: are powerful tools to subtly hint at romantic or emotional dynamics between characters without explicitly stating them. By selecting specific songs or using lyrics that carry layered meanings, creators can invoke emotions or associations that resonate with queer themes, intimacy or romantic undertones. Songs that have lyrics with open-ended or ambiguous lines, when placed over scenes with queer-coded characters, allow for multiple interpretations. This creates a sense of queerness without labeling it outright, allowing the audience to interpret the relationship as they see fit. As is the case of the song The Line by Twenty One Pilots. Through the line "pull the blanket tight now" you can interpret the song from Viktor's point of view and dedicated to Jayce (since Jayce was the one who gave the blanket to Viktor).
Comparisons and mirroring: narrative parallels with romantic couples, either in character arcs, sacrifices or framing. For example, Jayce and Viktor share a significant bond across multiple timelines. Jinx and Ekko, meanwhile, also share a significant bond in another timeline. This could be interpreted as both couples choosing each other, even, in alternate universes. This is an idea that is commonly related to romantic relationships. Love across different universes is seen as something beyond fraternal and worthy of epic romantic love. In the same episode that Ekko meets Jinx in another timeline, Jayce meets Viktor in another timeline too. The same thing happens in episode three of season two. In the same episode where Vi and Caitlyn fight and part ways, Jayce and Viktor also fight and part ways. In this way, Jayce and Viktor follow a similar pattern and theme (albeit on a larger scale) to that of the other canonically romantic couples in the series.
Subtext in dialogue: refers to lines with double meanings that subtly suggest emotional or romantic undertones. The choice by the creators of lines that are commonly associated with romantic relationships such as "beautiful despite the imperfections", "in all timelines, in all possibilities, only you can show me this", "my place is in the laboratory, with you" or "it was affection that held us" convey an ambiguous message that leaves the possibility of multiple interpretations open. The use of the term "partner" was not accidental either. This word is commonly used by queer individuals to signify a romantic relationship while avoiding gendered language. Jayce and Viktor not calling each other “brothers” is significant because it leaves room for ambiguity, suggesting that the creators might not have wanted to firmly define the relationship. Jayce only called Viktor "brother" once and then insisted on the term "partners" until the end of the series.
As you noted, these aren’t accidental choices—they are purposeful creative decisions made by team members who do support the romantic interpretation of Jayce and Viktor's relationship. Animators, voice actors and designers contributed to shaping this relationship through subtle creative choices. For example, animators might have chosen specific expressions or gestures to convey deeper intimacy, even if this wasn’t explicitly stated in the script. Leaving their relationship ambiguous might have been seen as a “safe” route in the face of disagreements.
In collaborative works like Arcane, no single individual (not even Christian Linke) dictates the entirety of what's canon or not. Creative contributions from diverse team members with their own agenda and interpretations also shape meaning.
If the intention was to show a “brotherly” relationship but the execution led to widespread interpretation of a romantic one, it's failure in storytelling. If the intention was to show a "queer coded" relationship and the execution led to widespread interpretation of a romantic one, then it's success in storytelling.
Death of the author: Viewers also have their own interpretations and that's valid. Varied interpretations shouldn't be dismissed. Here the death of the author applies. This term refers to the fact that, after an author publishes a piece of work, that piece ceases to belong exclusively to the author. Once a work is released, it belongs to the audience as much as the creators. If significant parts of the fanbase interpret Viktor and Jayce as more than friends, that interpretation becomes part of the narrative’s cultural impact, regardless of authorial intent.
The interpretation in media of queer codes is deeply influenced by cultural cues. Although this changes from society to society, social cues are the same for everyone. If Viktor and Jayce’s interactions evoke a sense of romance, it’s because the storytelling taps into those cues, whether intentionally or not. The relationship between them two integrates cultural and social codes typical of queer relationships.
Cultural codes: are tied to traditions, beliefs and shared understandings within a specific culture or subculture. They include symbols (objects, gestures, or imagery that carry specific meanings within a culture —e.g., a wedding ring symbolizing commitment—), narrative patterns (storytelling conventions that audiences recognize, such as the "star-crossed lovers" trope or visual parallels that suggest a connection between characters), expressions and language (words, phrases, or metaphors that carry connotations shaped by cultural usage —e.g., the word "partner" often implying romance in contemporary Western culture—.
Social codes: are the behaviors and norms that define interactions and relationships between individuals or groups. These codes are often context-dependent and include: body language (physical gestures or proximity that suggest intimacy, power, or affection —e.g., lingering touches or intense eye contact indicating closeness—), relationship norms (expectations about how certain types of relationships—platonic, familial, romantic—are expressed in actions and language) and contextual cues (the way relationships are framed by their environment, such as a candlelit dinner indicating romance or playful banter suggesting friendship).
The way Viktor and Jayce interact is coded in a way that aligns more with romantic love than familial or platonic love. So, asking to associate Jayce and Viktor's relationship with a “brothers” type of relationship would mean having to disregard cultural and social codes.
| Romantic Undertones as "Canon Adjacent”.
As I previously said, the romantic undertone of Jayce and Viktor's relationship would result in a canonically established couple in any other series. So, what I see here is a double standard in romantic representation in the series. For example, many think that Ekko and Jinx are canon after (a conversation that wasn't added to the series and after...) Ekko gave his jacket to Jinx. Jayce and Viktor’s dynamic features more romantic subtext than that but they still are dismissed as "brothers". Is this homophobia? No, of course not. How could it be homophobia if Arcane shows an established lesbian couple? Well, let me tell you, lesbian representation is more socially accepted in male-dominated spaces due to fetishization, whereas romantic relationships between men are less embraced. The idea of two men in love can lead many people to question the masculinity of these men and the masculinity associated with characters like Jayce or Viktor is vital to League of Legends. Making a canonically gay male character is riskier for the franchise because, in lol, masculinity is an element that, many times, determines the election of one character over the other.
Unlike Vi and Cait, among whom (I understand) there was the belief of a romantic relationship, Jayce and Viktor were never associated in that way. So, I can see the risk.
If Linke intended to focus on male friendship, that’s fine, but dismissing other interpretations, especially in a story as emotionally charged as Jayce and Viktor’s, can come across as limiting or dismissive of queer readings, whether intentional or not. It would have been better for Christian Linke to shut up and let everyone have their own interpretation about Jayce and Viktor's bond. Instead of insisting on interpreting Jayce and Viktor’s bond as “brotherly”, it would be more inclusive and respectful to let viewers interpret their relationship freely. By insisting on framing Viktor and Jayce as just “brothers” or “friends,” the show risks falling into the “no-homo” trope, where creators deliberately steer clear of portraying characters as gay despite clear romantic subtext.
| Linke's arguments.
Arguments like "media lacks non-romantic platonic relationships" feel insincere because these type of relationships aren't underrepresented in media. That crisis never existed. Many popular shows and movies focus on deep, platonic male bonds (e.g., Sherlock Holmes, The Lord of the Rings, Supernatural). While it’s admirable to showcase strong male friendships, it’s not a groundbreaking theme. In such a case, there is a lack of representation of non-romantic platonic relationships between men and women. These type of relationships are equally rare and more deserving of advocacy, but we still have timebomb (Jinx and Ekko). In conclusion, media has no shortage of non-romantic male-male bonds, but LGBTQ+ male romantic relationships remain underrepresented. So, Christian Linke's dismissal about JayVik was even more noticeable after that argument.
Also, I would like to add that referring to a relationship as a "romantic" one doesn't diminish the importance or depth of a bond. Friendship isn’t erased by romance. In fact, many memorable romantic relationships in media are related to friendship (e.g., Anne and Gilbert from Anne with an E). But, to call it a brothers-like relationship would diminish the profound, cosmic depth of their connection because their bond is about recognition, unconditional support and shared purpose, even at the cost of the world. It’s poetic and tragic, resonating with themes of love, identity, and the human condition. The time loops, their repeated choice to find each other and their interconnected destinies make their relationship feel larger-than-life. For many viewers, this mythic quality resembles soulmate narratives rather than simple friendship or brotherhood.
Another argument that reveals Christian Linke's rejection of Jayce and Viktor as a possible romantic relationship, is the statement about Viktor being asexual. I would like to ask what is the point of revealing this information after the show ended? Representation works best when it's woven into the narrative, not dropped as an afterthought. Beyond that, I think Mr. Linke should educate himself. Experiencing little or no sexual attraction doesn't mean that romantic attraction cannot be experienced. Being asexual doesn't mean that a person can't be gay.
Asexuality: is a sexual orientation characterized by the lack of sexual attraction to others. This means that an asexual person typically doesn't experience the desire to engage in sexual activities with anyone, regardless of gender. However, asexuality exists on a spectrum. Asexuality as a spectrum refers to the understanding that asexuality encompasses a wide range of experiences and expressions of little to no sexual attraction. Rather than being a single, fixed identity, the asexual spectrum includes various orientations and preferences regarding sexual and romantic attraction.
Many asexual people form deep, meaningful romantic bonds and there's no inherent contradiction between being asexual and experiencing romantic feelings. To use Viktor’s supposed asexuality as a reason to dismiss any potential romantic undertones between him and Jayce feels reductive and dismissive—not just of their dynamic, but also of the diverse experiences of asexual individuals.

An au I came up with bc I’m coping and I’ve seen too much sad stuff recently
The sacred timeline? Deadpool x Wolverine reference haha
Just a silly idea inspired by ep 7 that came to me out of nowhere bc I’m coping with how it ended and I’ve seen so many things that are rlly sad and I just want all my bbs to be happy so im gonna self-indulge for a bit
Also mostly from Zaun POV rather than Piltover
^ Quick sketch of 20-something Viktor adopted by Silco and Vander <3
- Silco gets the letter and him and Vander make up
- Young Viktor meets Silco instead of Synged and is adopted by Silco and Vander (parents are dead rip)
- Becomes an older brother figure to the kids, especially Powder and Ekko
- Vi doesn’t die in the explosion like in ep 7
- Powder brings the crystals home and shows them to Viktor
- Viktor’s interest is piqued and sneaks into the apartment to explore the building after the kids tell him what they saw in there
- Coincidentally meets Jayce trying to jump
- “Am I interrupting?”
- Jayce doesn’t know what to do with himself anymore after his work has been taken, but Viktor admires his genius and invites him to help in the undercity instead
- Jayce introduced to Silco and Vander as Viktor’s “friend” from topside who has nowhere else to go but wants to help out
- They’re skeptical at first, not knowing his intentions
- Jayce meets the kids and realises they are the ones who caused the explosion, but Viktor intervenes and tells them that they’re all here now so just accept it and move on - plus Jayce has nowhere else to go
- Jayce and Vi start connecting more (and become the disaster duo)
- Zaundads notice random things start getting fixed, an unintentional thing that Jayce does: he sees something broken and repurposes/fixes it
- But when he fixes things he usually leaves a trace of how it was broken (idk how to explain but the example when they don’t get rid of the cracks in the table but fill them with gold)
- Viktor notices and points to Jayce, making Silco and Vander more accepting of him
- They also notice how good he is with the kids and how close he and Viktor have gotten
- They participate in the innovators competition
- They start to study and develop Hextech to help the people of Zaun
- Synged creates shimmer and works with Finn and the his lot, which eventually starts becoming a problem
After the time skip
- Piltover and Zaun are on better terms, but there are still tensions between them
- Hextech is developed for the undercity rather than Piltover (they still almost end the world lmao but it’s ok they figure things out through the power of love 💀)
- Shimmer is becoming a major issue that starts spilling into topside, with the scientists trying to find a way to combat it with Hextech
- Mel meets Jayce and Viktor, interested in their work and combating the shimmer problem
- Jayce, Viktor, Silco, Ekko and Powder also work together now
- Jayce and Viktor are lab partners
- Jayce, Viktor and Silco help with medical research
- Ekko and Powder are Heimerdinger’s students at the academy
- Vi is a sort of authority figure in the undercity, with Vander teaching her how to run things
- Works with Sevika and helps her out
- Meanwhile Caitlyn is sent to investigate a case involving shimmer on the border between cities
- Vi and Sevika go to investigate too
- Vi meets Caitlyn
- They start working together on the investigation as figureheads for their cities
- Vi takes Cait to the undercity to look for clues
- They run into Jayce, where him and Cait reunite
- Powder and Ekko participate in the innovators competition
- Ambessa hears about the shimmer problem and visits Piltover, creating tensions between her and Mel
- Mel realises that she’s only going to create more trouble, so she starts working to lessen the tensions between cities and crack down on shimmer
Uhhh idk what next but I’ve edited this a couple times to add more stuff
Currently rlly busy with assignments so I don’t have time to write a whole fic but I’m jotting down ideas and I rlly wanna do some concept art for this idea 🙏
I might also do some headcannons soon ✨
#arcane#arcane au#jayvik#caitvi#timebomb#zaundads platonic or romantic I’m still not sure how to read them yet#au concept#fic ideas

Vander/Silco Jayce/Viktor parallels.
These men strived to change Zauna and Piltover to improve the living conditions for the people, and at they first they succeeded together with the Last Drop being a safe haven of community for Zaunites and Hextech providing a near endless supply of magical technology for Piltovians. They also refer to each other as brothers, well Jayce does in his case. But extreme socially upheaving events and differing ideologies on how to lead people drive the men apart, culminating in an unstable Jayce murdering Viktor and a grieving Vander to nearly strangle and drown Silco to death. These murders/attempted murders lead to an epiphany for both Silco and Viktor in the lead up to their resurrection as the Machine Herald for Viktor and a metaphorical rebirth for Silco.

Jayvik Tickle Headcanons
Oh lord here we go fellas. I’m writing these to get them out of my system, and also so I can use them in my own fic writing.
I’ll be doing Jayce and Viktor alone and then combined headcanons because it’s more fun that way. I’ll also be referring to them tickling/being tickled by an SO/Reader just because I write Reader fics but anything in here can also just be between both of them as well.
Since I’ve written for them previously, I’m also tossing around the idea to make a headcanon list for Silco and Vander as well. If you’re interested, lemme know and I’ll see what I can make.
I haven’t really proofread these in depth as I feel like that brings more of that headcanon list charm to this (and also I’ve had a massive headache I’ve been trying to will away all day) so hopefully this isn’t too sloppy.
Everything is under the cut for your viewing experience (and sanity). :)
Jayce
Big big BIG on physical touch in general so he loves tickling others and being tickled himself
With Viktor he’s gentle (unless V is being a little shit) but with others he brings a big brother energy to it*
*When I was rewatching S1 I just knew he would use tickling to mess with Cait. And in Act 1 because she’s a lot smaller than he is, she wouldn’t have much of a way to retaliate
HOWEVER IN ACT 2. When Jayce sneaks out of the crowd to flick Cait’s enforcer hat just to mess with her and she locked his arm so quick. Now that she’s older and stronger he would definitely be on the receiving end of her wrath. Just an idea I had to put out there lol
He’s very open to just. Straight up asking for tickles lol. Sometimes he can’t quite get the word out though. But if he’s with someone who knows him well enough, they’ll get the hint
His belly is ticklish, and I think his arms would be weirdly enough. And his back too definitely
Jayce asks for tickles when he’s particularly stressed out. He likes it when his hair is played with or if someone is just caressing his face
He doesn’t try to hide his laughter, just lets it all out. His laugh is quite bright, lights up the room
He can be an absolute menace when he wants to be
He’ll hide something that a person is looking for and plays dumb, “Huh? I don’t know what you’re talking about” all nonchalant. But then he ‘regrets’ it once they retaliate with tickles and he can’t handle what they’re dishing out
He teases whoever he’s tickling, in a “wow, you’re this ticklish? How did I never realise?” kind of way.
Likes to poke and prod and squeeze. He’s very down to chase his target if they happen to start running away
Cannot handle what he dishes out. Any threats will get him sweating
Viktor
Coming from the Undercity, I doubt he grew up with any physical touch so he wasn’t used to it at first. Though being around others (Jayce), he got used to the closeness and started to even like it
At first he thought the act of tickling was undignified and childish (still does if someone he doesn’t like tries to tickle him), but he grows fond of it
Teasing really pushes his buttons. It gets him all flustered, even if it’s just wiggling fingers from across the room. He stumbles on his words at the threat, holding his hands up in defence
He’s not afraid to use his cane as a weapon to dissuade whoever might even think about tickling him
He doesn’t actively seek it out, but is happy if it crosses his path
I feel like he’s generally really ticklish. His ribs and hips especially dodging his brace. His neck and ears are extremely sensitive to feather-light touches
He tries to hold in his laugh. Key word here is tries. His shoulders will shake trying to hold it in, but tickle in juuuust the right spot or place, and the dam will break
I imagine his laughter being quiet and light at first, but once he gets going it’s beautiful and rich. Even further and he gets a little squeaky/hiccupy (just don’t go too far or he’ll start coughing)
He’s done meticulous and careful work with his hands for years, so you know his fingers are quite nimble and dexterous
Will tickle his target until he commits all their ticklish spots to memory. Does it in a scientific research kind of way, “I need to find where you’re the most ticklish. This is for science, after all.” “Is this spot more ticklish than the previous one? Mm, from your reaction, it seems so.”
Since he doesn’t have a lot of mobility, he will use his cane to pull his prey back if they try to run away
Both
Jayce would totally use tickling to get Viktor’s attention when he’s concentrating too hard in the lab
And Viktor would do the same to Jayce. Viktor will be saying “Jayce? Jayce, are you listening? Jaaaaayce…” calling out to him and trying to snap him back to reality. Only getting Jayce’s attention by gently scribbling his neck with a smirk on his face. If Jayce was holding something, it oh so gracefully drops onto the floor as he freezes up in surprise
Both are too stubborn to leave the lab at a proper hour, so both use tickling to drag each other out. More so Jayce using this tactic than Viktor (Viktor is so stubborn/overworked/dedicated). Jayce will be particularly mean with his tickles to persuade Viktor when he’s being extra stubborn
Viktor will prod at Jayce with his cane when Jayce isn’t focusing. In turn, Jayce totally scribbles his fingers into Viktor’s side when Viktor is concentrating too hard
Jayce is very mindful and careful with Vik’s bad leg. Which is both a blessing (Jayce isn’t rough and is very careful) and a curse (gentle touches on his bad leg absolutely fucks Viktor UP)
S2 JAYCE TOTALLY USES THE BEARD FOR NEFARIOUS PURPOSES. Viktor absolutely despises (loves) the beard and how unfairly it tickles. It’s Jayce’s lethal weapon, guaranteed to kill Viktor whenever he kisses his neck/belly/hell his face too lmao
When Jayce is tickling Viktor, Viktor struggles to move away because of his lack of mobility. However, when it’s the other side of the coin, Jayce seems to never shy away from Viktor’s tickling fingers. Wonder why that is…
When V notices that Jayce is stressing out a lot, he’ll prop himself on the work bench or a table, pat his lap with a “Come here, Talis”. Jayce will lay his head on Vik’s lap so that Vik can caress his hair and lightly drag his fingers on his scalp/neck/anywhere his wandering fingers can reach. This makes Jayce absolutely melt and forget what he was even stressing out about
They’re both switchy and get touchy-feely, more so Jayce than Viktor since he’s used to physical touch. Viktor doesn’t mind though
They totally use tickling to teasingly bully each other and to annoy each other every now and again. The lab is filled with laughter
Vik rarely asks for it, but Jayce notices the particular way Vik sighs when he’s struggling, or the look on his face when he knows Vik needs some cheer up tickles

stumbled upon the confusing realization that, on the riot games website, only Viktor’s bio is written by a 3rd party person. a direct extract from the book of a random professor. granted, i only glanced at about 15 bios, so there’s a chance that someone else’s was written by a 3rd party person as well; but even then, it seems uncommon enough to be interesting.
what is their intent behind this? to represent the outsiders view into the life of a misunderstood villain? they make a point to tell us how so much of his life was undocumented, which is pretty important context, because then it seems like a lot of this is guesswork based on no understanding of his life as we see it in the show. granted, a lot of it is pretty close to canon, but there are bits i can tell are purely assumption from the writer.
also important to note: this is the only bio that refers to him and jayce as brothers. jayce’s bio calls them friends and colleagues, not brothers.
so, a 3rd party interpreting somebody’s poorly documented backstory in order to brother-wash his relationship with his partner. does this sound familiar? oh, yeah, its exactly what’s happened to almost every queer couple in history.
do i think riot referenced this on purpose? probably not. but it seems a bit important to me, as a reflection of something that’s happened in real life countless times. it just makes me think.
#jayvik#viktor arcane#arcane#league of legends#this has been bothering me since i first read this bio#but correct me if im wrong about his bio being the only one written by a 3rd party#im not spending any more time on that damn website lol

So I've seen a lot of discourse around some of the arcane ships and I felt like throwing my opinion into the ring too
I will preface this by saying I think shipping is fine, I am a casual shipper of both Jayce/Viktor (Though I think a queerplatonic relationship could work lovely for them) and Vander/Silco (yeah this ones a lil silly I guess but i just think it's funny so)
So firstly, Viktor and Jayce. I have seen lots of people (mostly on reddit but some here too) saying that we shouldn't ship them because guys should be allowed to be close and affectionate without being called gay. That is a valid viewpoint until it comes to the point where one is invalidating LGBTQ relationships. There is definitely a sore lack of healthy, close affectionate m/m friendships in the mainstream media. However, there is also a MASSIVE lack of good M/M, and same sex couple representation in general and there has been for many years. When people try to say "why is everything gay nowadays" it comes across as rude and condescending because it's really not true. The LGBTQ community has fought so hard just to reach the level of acceptance that we are at today, and even that is the bare minimum and below in some places. I think we should be allowed to have both of those things, they should be able to coexist, but people aren't making it better by just attacking anyone else who shares a slightly different opinion.
By all means criticise JayVik for it's faults (Mel?? My girl?? Jayce fumbled you so hard and the writers did too) (Also Skye, they deadass brought her back this season just to get rid of her again) but don't make it about that.
I think let people ship whatever they want to ship, and as long as it's not harming real people and if it's something that could potentially trigger people then keep it to yourself/make sure it stays within circles of people that it won't trigger.
Same applies to Vander/Silco, though I knowww this one is a bit more controversial. Way I see it, the "brothers" that they refer each other to applies more in a "comerades" sense, as I believe it was translated as such in the other language dubs? Anyway yeah, I just think they'd be funny together and they have a lot of angst writing potential so...
Yeah. Just let people ship who they wanna ship, shippers, don't force anyone to believe in it if the writers deliberately left it ambiguous (JayVik ending scene). At the end of the day they are all just fictional characters and That Is Okay. It's all chill.

Arcane Episode 2 Immediate Thoughts
WOW WOW WOW.
Ok so, there is a lot. The second episode keeps up the breakneck pace. Though some characters get this treatment more than others (Jayce). Again, I like this pace considering the time restraints on the story.
There seems to be a lot more music video style scenes/visuals in this season. It replaces montages as a way to show the audeince time passing and the state of the city. Very cool all the songs have been good so far.
Viktor seems to be a little different. That makes sense, he is affected by the Hexcore now more than ever. In League lore it is left ambiguos how much, if any, of his emotions are really him v.s. the machine. But unlike in the League lore he seems to be embracing his role as a messiah to the people in the sump. IDK how he knows how to do the healing this, I guess the Hexcore just knows. This is fine, makes sense for the story and all, though I do miss S1 Viktor so far. I'm holding my opinions till the end. Also my perceptions of these characters have no doubt been warped by fanon Viktor.
ALSO, when we were shows the giant Jinx's head statue with all the smoke in the trailer I assumed that was errected by the people of Zaun after she becomes the leader of the rebelion. but no, it's there already in the begining of S2. Silco must have built it, comisioned a giant ass statue of his little girl.
I don't really have a big thesis. Here are just some observations.
1: JAYVIK DIVORCE ERA
Jayce: "I Understand now, my place was always here, in the lab, with you. We'll make this right, together...."Viktor you're my partner"
Viktor: "Our paths diverged long ago, it was affection that held us together."
Jayvik shippers going crazy right now. And by Jayvik shippers I mean me. I am going crazy right now.
This divorce is brutal.
Yeah, thats right Jayce, now it's Viktor who's turning his back on your partnership for a woman. That woman just so happens to be dead.
Also, Viktor is full naked for most of this scene. Jayce hugs him naked. They should have stopped being cowards and shown us the package.
And to follow it immediately with Jayce calling Viktor his best friend, like in S1 with the brother comment they really have Jayce follow up the gayest sentiment you've ever heard with platonic references.
2: VI AND ENFORCERS
What is the logic behind Vi and the enforcers poisonous gassing the place she played in as a child? If it's to neutralize threats because they have gas masks, have they been gassing everywhere they go? Streets included? Also, it's already shown that most Silco supporters (Including Jinx) have gas masks on hand in season 1.
3: Twice in one episode I am shocked by Jinx's ability to hold her breath.

https://www.tumblr.com/yugogeer012/745656419540418560/how-do-you-genuinely-feel-about-epicsans-ships?source=share
I’m assuming here you want me to react to the links? In general if I’m given a link I’ll do that!
Okay, so, for the first ask, yes, I’m aware these are the Epictale characters’ canon sexualities, and that Yugo said Epic would be straight. I understand that since the creator said this it would be the canon for the material he’s created.
However, Epic to me, is very LGBTQIA-coded. He enjoys drag. He likes crossdressing. He constantly makes gay jokes and has been drawn (even if they were deleted/retconned) to flirt with and have romantic moments with male-identifying characters. I’m not saying Epic CANT like women, I’m only saying I think his sexuality would be more fluid, and that he’d be more interested in relationships where he’d have a deep personal connection to his partner prior.
Epic in Yugo canon also sexually harassed several people, including Cross, and it was played off as jokes before Yugo deleted pretty much everything with Epic in it. But that was out of a hatred for Epic and no apology was made. Nor, importantly, a declaration that it was no longer canon.
I firmly believe you shouldn’t harass a creator if you dislike their works or certain aspects of it. But you can respectfully dislike or disagree with something. I see those canon things about Epic and respectfully disagree. I understand that they are what Yugo says to or shown to be canon for him and his work, I don’t deny that.
So, I simply respectfully disagree, that Epic could love cringe humor and be flirty without harassment. (Yugo’s comedy back then brushed off SH as a joke, not just with Epic committing it but other characters as well). I know that’s what the creator says, but the way Epic was coded and intended to be is different to me than what Yugo ended up going with.
On that note, I also disagree that Epic is straight and find him very LGBTQIA-coded. He enjoys drag and referred to himself as feminine when in drag, with the name ‘Epica’, and that he’s a ‘beautiful woman’. Or when he privately crossdresses, like the time his brother opened his bedroom door and saw Epic in a nekommi outfit.
I think Epic’s tendency to do drag as a joke and also privately crossdresses (dressing feminine without the performative nature that he would in drag) is coded for Epic being in the closet and not yet come out, that Epic enjoys dressing feminine now and then but doesn’t and only to mock it out of self-denial. Given his age, he’s likely a baby gay and hasn’t even come out to Epictale Gaster or even his own brother yet, let alone himself, especially if Yugo says they’re straight as well.
(Which respectfully I also think canon Papyrus is bi or pan but, well, do what you like)
There was also a comic where Epic was watching anime with friends about the show Ranma, and was shown to be blushing and very sexually interested in the titular character as a female having a dick.
Things can be declared canon or written by creators one way but end up coded in another. For example, in the show Arcane, the creator Linke said that Jayce and Viktor are not written as canon and that they have a “brotherly” relationship. Yet when watching the show there is clearly romantic undertones and subtext between the two.
So you can respectfully disagree with something in canon and still have fun with it.
The second link with Yugo disliking Epic ships, yes, I know that as well, because Yugo has stated repeatedly how much he hates Epic and killed him off in the Epictale comics because of that. He wants nothing more to do with Epic fandom interactions and that includes ships.
So, what do you do with a creator who hates a character they’ve created but you adore? I believe you can respectfully disagree and have fun and adore that character, simply leave the creator out of it per their wishes.
I personally think Epic ships can be so much fun and cute, like Epic and Ink, Epic and Ccino, or even Epic and Cross variants like Crossfell. Pretty much anyone, I find Epic to be versatile like that.

Guys if I don't speak I will lose my fricken mind so arcane s2 spoilerz
Under the cut there's spoilers so you are sabotaging yourself
So here is my view so far:
WOOOOOO KISSS BABY YEAHHH
Also also Viktor and jayce hug but like, my brother was just letting everything flap in the wind or what?
Also Jayce was not looking at Victor's abdomen or whatever
Jinx letting Silco go the way he taught her to? ALSO WATER SCENE AGAIN.
Idk if anyone caught this but ep1 had many references to like s1. For example, we start with chaos (war and stuff and death and stuff) an attack in piltover either involving Jinx or Vi, s1ep1, then we get water. (Silco "drowning") s1ep2, then suicidal Jayce (HE MAY HAVE NOT SAID ANYTHING BUT IT WAS IMPLIED.), jayce and caitlyn's relationship, parental figure dying. (Vander and Cassandra) s1ep3
WOODKID CAME BACK. AND I THINK I KNOW WHY...
Guns for Hire was a need call for Vi. To Ashes and Blood is a cry between 2 people who have fallen out. What do they have in common? The 4 siblings' spirits are in the fight and woodkid sings both songs.
I don't play LoL but the chanting part of the song is in Shurian which is a prayer to a goddess named Janna or Jan'ahrem who is the blue bird of the sea, storms fury, and the the symbol/spirit of wisdom and harmony. *which in this case, neither is happening!*
You can see many Zaunites looking towards a mural or shine of a woman with flowy hair, that's her.
For some reason, the more ambessa pisses me off, the more hot she becomes.
WHAT IS CAITLYN ON GUYS, SOMEONE STOP HER (I support her every step of the way]
Also Cait's dad :[
GANG THE ARCANE?? LIKE SPIDERVERSE AND STUFF. The arcane gets pissed when you use it for more than its intended purpose
Ngl I'd also lash out if my girlfriend's(LET ME DREAM OKAy) sister killed my mom.
Ngl we would never be here if Vi minded her own fawkin business.
Viktor is a kind of like a saviour or am I crazy? Like Jesus.
That Lil girl, that keeps chilling with Jinx, she's cute. :]
I think that's all my thoughts idk.
THE MUSIC SLAPSS. [I will give commentary when everything drops]
Here's what I want for Act 5:
Jayvik
Jayvik
JMelVik
Jayvik
Mel
Mel
Jayvil
Caitvi
Timebomb
but seriously, wanna know what I want?
I want act 5 to be ANGST so that act 6 can be fluff /j
Me rn:

17 & 19 (with "pairing" interpreted as "character relationship of any type")
17 - Your favourite character to write this year?
Honestly, I think it's probably been Peter Grant from the Rivers of London books. He's such a distinctive first person narrator that I've written most of my RoL fic in his voice, and he's just an endearing guy as well as having a really fun POV. Like, the man makes a lot of the same nerd references I would and goes off on random informative tangents at the drop of a hat, what's not to love? Also, I tend to like really getting inside people's heads when I'm writing 3rd person limited, but with Peter's 1st person narration you have to be a bit more oblique about it. He's really observant about other people, but he will Not tell you how he's feeling about something directly if he's angry about it or upset on his own behalf. He's an unreliable narrator re: his own feelings, and that's very fun to play around with because it's more what he's not saying sometimes than what he is.
I did also really enjoy writing Nightingale, I love writing people who have that more formal, wordy way of talking, it comes quite naturally to me. (I am nothing if not excessively verbose.) I've played around with his POV a bit and it's wonderfully matter-of-fact, plus that man is just. He's so sad. But he heals, he get happier over time, and pinpointing where he's at in that development is always A Lot.
And one last honorary mention goes to one of my original characters, a guy called George Glen, who's the main character in my detective thing. I've been writing a lot of bits of dialogue to get the hang of him, and he's a really fun mix of that more formal speech pattern, cool politeness, dry sarcasm, passive aggressive bitchiness and occasional moments of deliberately (or sometimes accidentally) very camp. He's one of the sharper-edged protagonists I've got, and that's been a lot of fun to write.
19 - What's one pairing relationship you want to explore next year?
Jayce and Viktor from Arcane, I'm already right back on my bullshit about them and writing a lot of contextless bits of fluff I'm hoping to wrangle into more coherent things eventually. I'm so weak for a This Is My Best Friend, They're The Most Important Person In My Life dynamic, and theirs is a very good one, plus I just love writing nerd friendships. And not to get too into spoilers, but [Bugs Bunny meme] Doomed by Our Narrative is So much fun, they make me sad but in the Tragedy Enjoyer sense where I'm having a great time. Gonna be mostly writing s1-era fluff for a while, though. They deserve it.
Also, sidenote to that, I really want to poke at how Caitlyn interacted with Viktor during the time skip. Like, Jayce is her big brother figure/probably best friend, and here's this new guy coming along and threatening her position as Jayce's Best Friend. And she's like 15 when that happens, that's going to be A Huge Deal. I want to have some fun with how those two bounced off of each other and figured out a relationship of their own, because it never really came up in the show and they were bound to have had one. Viktor had to deal with a 15y/o girl who wants to be a detective and Did Not want him stealing her bestie, that's a delightful situation to play with.

Thoughts on Arcane Season 2 Episode 5
Spoilers below
Okay cool now we have actual WWE in this show.
Is that Vi? Yeah it’s Vi.
I’ll say this definitely fits her better then bring an enforcer. Damn she took the break up hard.
Wish I could say the same for Cait.
Oh shit I thought she was just hallucinating or something but no Jinx actually came to visit.
Says a lot about Vi’s current state that Jinx seems like the normal one right now
I do love that Jinx told her about Vander as soon as found out though.
Cait walking around like a Sith Lord.
Peacekeeping my arse.
“In my experience no one in power is innocent” is such a line.
Yeah why was this guy turning Vander into a wolf?
Ayy Mel!
Oh Mel.
Oh this guys cool. He’s got a voice for audiobooks. Wait that’s her brother?! So that’s where he’s been.
Love Vi seeing the mural of Jinx.
“Why would he be down here” I think why is he a wolf is the more pressing question Vi.
Okay but like it’s kinda sweet that even though Vi kinda thinks this is one of Jinx’s fantasies that she still came.
“At least they didn’t get to see their daughter turn into a psycho” “which one?”
Deserved.
I am now henceforth only referring to Vi’s gauntlets as bitch mittens.
The slap! Like oh couldn’t defend yourself from that did you?
They’re talking. They’re arguing and think the others insane but they’re talking. More than they’ve done in a while. This isn’t a fight to the death. There aren’t guns or rockets.
This is the banter between siblings.
Even the fist fight ends the moment Isha gets hurt. And Vi knows that there’s a part of her sister still alive.
That, I told you because no matter what happens between us that’s still our father and you deserve to know.
Oh the wolf maker is joining Ambessa.
Gotta love the Medarda siblings bonding over complaining about their mother.
Ambessa falling in love and having an affair and that’s why the black roses have a vendetta against her. Was not on my bingo card.
Wait so they have another sibling? That or Mel is the one they’re looking for because she seems to know what’s going on?
Ayy we got the wolf makers name too. And he’s a Mr Freeze kinda dude.
OH SHIT?! Plot twist?! Who was that then?!
Poor Mel.
Oh shit it was Mel and also not because oh look another sibling? Maybe.
Guessing the S stands for Silco?
Something about Vi letting Jinx read the letter, to hear Silco’s words instead of reading it herself. The hesitant reach out before ultimately not doing it.
Oh wait..the wolf’s senses blood right? And Isha’s got blood on her face.
Fuck.
Vi not even hesitating to save Jinx fuck man. And trusting her and calling out to Vander, so good.
Man this would’ve been so sweet and wholesome had it lasted. And that baby they were all fighting for was Vi.
“What are you waiting for he’s your dad too?”
Sobbing and Isha joining in too hell yeah.
I love how Jayce shows up for 5 seconds and immediately finds Viktor somehow.
Very concerned there’s a Viktor hive mind apparently.
Yeah in Jayce’s defence you walked out in him man. Didn’t even apologise or anything just bought a cult member to see him.
Oh you made discoveries but you did so after leaving me and saying our paths diverted. Doing the same shit you condemned me for.
Yeah no Jayce has the right to be pissed.
Maybe killing Salo wasn’t the best idea but, yeah after seeing the horrors of hex tech…yeah makes sense.
Wonder where Hemindinger and Ekko are.

revolution-verse cast list
it occurred to me that my little fic universe has a lot of people in it. I figured it would be a good idea to make a cast list so anyone can reference it whenever they want. I'll add people as we go, too
(not including major Arcane characters because yeah)
Powder's gang
Sky Young: Jayce and Viktor's lab assistant in canon; here she's coworkers with them and Powder at Piltover South-Central University's engineering lab
Megan Young: Sky's younger sister; a medical resident at South-Central's university hospital
Scar: the bat Chirean from canon; a part-time student at South-Central, construction worker, and single dad
32nd Street Community Center gang
Marnie: the director of the community center; an old friend of Ekko and Gianna
Gianna Acardi: the Firelight who knocks Caitlyn out in canon; Ekko's friend from high school, employee at one of Piltover's big 3 mining companies, and haver of a ton of siblings, including Ajuna, Nate, and Gabby
Eve: the Firelight who reminds Jinx of Vi in canon; community organizer who is always ready for a new challenge
Mr. Kang: cooks at the community center often; during Powder's early foster care days, he was her neighbor
Gary: frenemy of Marnie's who frequently steals from the community center pantry; works at a nearby homeless shelter (so at least it's for a good cause?)
Nadir: Gary's fiance who also works to provide assistance to the homeless population
Rosmaria: friend of Marnie's who works for one of Piltover's premiere shipping companies, BOL
assorted folks
Ajuna: in Ekko's game lore, a friend he couldn't save; in this story, he's Gianna's step-brother and a large source of her and Ekko's stress (affectionate)
Kai: Scar's infant son
Taze: a friend of Scar and Eve's who is a refugee from Noxus and an expert on resisting oppressive nonsense; has a wife and kids
Amari: Megan's long-term partner; hopes to go to pharmacy school
Isah: member of Finn's gang, the Slickjaws; she and the members she leads defect due to Ekko's influence
Boone: leader of a gang having territory disputes with the Slickjaws; loyal to Silco and Ekko by proxy
Zeray Bask: a schoolteacher and local leader at the New Antima housing complex; termed "Soup Guy" by Powder
topsiders
Charleston Beaumont: youngest son of Amara Beaumont, the owner of BOL; wants to make shimmer an international product, which has led him into a bloody feud with Ekko
Amara Beaumont: in canon a woman Mel introduces to Jayce after his crackdown on corruption at the Hexgates; in this story, a wealthy shipping magnate who spoils her six children

saw some bullshit today so i dared myself to list every male-male non-romantic relationship (that i know of) in league
disclaimer i have not read all of runeterra lore so half of this is osmosis
Braum - Yasuo (RK rest point convos)
Braum - Pyke (RK, "you could never be on the list")
Darius - Draven (they're brothers)
J4 - Xin Zhao
J4 - Garen (shared a couple scenes in Lux comic + most of their screentime in Mageseeker was the two of them sulking about their loved ones being magic)
Master Yi - Wukong
Braum - Maokai (RK, maokai gives braum a cure for his people)
Nasus - Renekton (they're brothers pt 2)
Rengar - Graves (graves keeps referring to rengar as "my buddy rango")
Thresh - Viego (thresh 'helped' viego revive his wife, and also it's impossible to ship viego with anyone because he will not stop simping over said wife)
Vladimir - Viego (i'm pretty sure they're related?)
Warwick - Singed (listen i love monsterfucker singed as much as the next fella but in terms of canon singed remorselessly ruined ww's life lmfao)
Yone - Yasuo (they're brothers pt 3)
Xerath - Azir (although i personally think there's estranged mlm potential there so ymmv)
Heimerdinger - Ziggs (jinx comic + hextech mayhem, they've worked together)
Singed - Heimerdinger (Arcane, "love and legacy are the sacrifices we make for progress, it's why i parted ways with heimerdinger")
Nasus - Azir (i'm like 80% sure they're on speaking terms)
Shen - Zed (so i've heard, but i've also heard they could be read as exes so ymmv)
eighteen. now. actual 1000% confirmed mlm ships
Twisted Fate - Graves (you literally just need to read everything on their respective universe pages, even before Bombolini they were canon as fuck)
