On one hand, I feel really bad for divorce era Viktor because he's working himself into an early grave and Viktor really needs to take better care of himself but on the other hand, divorce era Jayce being a miserable drunk is just hilarious in the most pathetic way possible mainly because seeing Piltover's golden boy being such a mess is just so much fun to read about. Reading about Viktor and Jayce being barely functional human beings was something I didn't know I'd love so much and now I can't get enough of it because the way you write them is just so good!

But I absolutely need to know, in your opinion who do you think took the divorce the hardest? How and why? Please tell me everything!

So I think they both take it really hard but at different times.

Jayce had a hard time right at the start because Viktor was his foundation. He built his life around the idea of Viktor and their relationship would be the bedrock for the rest of the chaos he built around himself. Without Viktor, he was completely lost and forced to reconcile with his own mistakes (which he didn't). He broke down pretty early on and every day since Viktor walked out was another layer of anxiety stacked on top. He gets to be such a mess by the end until he fully finds himself and breaks the co-dependency.

Viktor thought he was doing well up until it became real that Jayce was willing to walk away. Even though Viktor wanted to break the co-dependency, it wasn't real since Jayce was still a hovering presence and famous enough to always been in his orbit. When Viktor was totally alone, that's when all the pain hit and he realized he couldn't brute force being okay.
