LOL #No rougher than eating meat for the rest of your life when you were previously a grass-eating horse though #I tried coming up w cool name for the vaccine so its HPE as in “Hope”

something people just don’t think about is how often chronically ill and disabled people just don’t have access to good food. not healthy food, good food; well made, tasty meals that don’t come from a jar or a freezer. how many of us are housebound or can’t drive? delivery services only offer within certain distances, if you live outside a city they aren’t an option. many people don’t have the energy or ability to cook for themselves if they have the skill to begin with. many certainly don’t have the ability to learn how. it’s something that goes completely unnoticed, just the opportunity to have a good meal and how much that wears you down

#all i want is chinese food #the closest one to me is 40 minutes away and its a /bad/ chinese place #its my worst option and its not even an option #‘fried rice is easy to make heres a recipe!’#i cant use a stove bc the heat will give me a seizure #even if i keep myself cool something that should take 15 minutes will take upwards of an hour bc i need to take breaks #even then ill probably be too nauseous to eat it after being active for so long #all of that for a bad cooks version of fried rice #more expensive and worse than a takeaway place #but i cant get it from a takeaway place #repeat ad nauseum for the rest of my life and is it any wonder im so sick of the same food ive eaten for 10 years #the only time i get takeaway is when my parents decide to go out and bring something home #can you imagine living like that for the rest of your life?#i dont have to #and its so dumb to want to cry over rice #but its not really about the rice is it #coming out of my cage and ive been doing just fine.txt #spoonie #chronic illness #disability #pots #postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome #ehlers danlos syndrome #fibromyalgia #chronic fatigue #chronically ill #mental illness #mental health #save post

A little 15 min doodle but first post of the year has to be Bingqiu!

#ok its time to get mushy in the tags because I doubt anyone would read them too closely #I’ve had severe art block for YEARS before I got into danmei in 2024 #and it wasn’t that my skill was gone it’s just that I thought nothing I did was good enough #I started reading danmei around the summer of last year and I got SO INSPIRED #I dived into the fandom side of things (I haven’t been in a live fandom in years) and was so excited about all the art people were making #and writing! and music! and animatics!#everything was so bright and colorful and beautiful #and everyone had such cool designs for these book characters that I’d grown to love #so I took a chance and doodled a little Luo Binghe and posted him on here #and I was so taken aback by how welcoming and sweet the fandom was #it made me wanna keep taking chances and posting my art— because I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve come to accept #that even if it’s not good enough for me #someone else may enjoy it #and ain’t it crazy that ive come to enjoy drawing again too #sure the interaction has been fun but it’s been even more fun experimenting with my style and experimenting with colors and rendering #and grayscale and angles #and composition and expressions #ahh!! art is so fun!! saikis powers are a vital part of him so it makes sense that people who dont know about them cant truly understand his whole self, but its also very silly to me when people act like its the ONLY important part of him... people act like his friends that arent in the know are completely blind to who saiki is, but i feel like that kinda means you missed some major points... he cant keep his powers a secret forever and it DOES matter, but he can still be loved and KNOWN without knowing about them... hes still human, he still has a personality, he still has regular likes and dislikes, etcetc

his friends perspectives on him may have been wrong at first, but they CHANGED... they know him and love him, and theyll KEEP loving him the SAME once they know of his powers...

some people cough cough cough in this fandom like to reduce saiki to JUST his powers and its so obvious that you just. missed everything. you didnt absorb anything from the show, you just saw it and went "ha, everyone thinks hes just a guy when hes actually super cool and powerful" no no no, he IS cool and powerful but look a little closer and at his core he is still LITERALLY JUST A GUY 😭😭😭
