the idea that buck is going all out and cooking for tommy (ESPECIALLY if he's like, just coming off shift) and tommy just smiling so softly cause like!! someone put the effort into doing something nice for him and maybe that doesnt happen all too often/hasnt really happened before, and it just absolutely staggers him how much this man actually wants to do nice things for him 🥹

I think rye really likes chocolate, but like... mostly very very dark chocolate. boring bitter barely sweetened adult person chocolate, to the point where most of the others find it borderline inedible. it's a regular occurrence for someone to raid the lighthouse kitchen for snacks and light up like 'ooooh wait we've got chocolate???' and someone else has to go 'yeah but it's only rook chocolate tho sorry :/'. #this is a great way to distract urself from Arlecchino. (obviously (it works great))#technically there are a lot more kids in the house of the hearth than just those 3 #but I cannot put them in the teapot nor do I know them so #anyway this has been a fun project but I’m starting to run out of things to do #I’ve already made a bedroom for Arlefuri. a boudoir for Furina where she can work on her projects and things #I made a bedroom for the kids (I didn’t like the idea of separating their bedrooms since they’re all so close)#(I did give Fremi a little privacy nook cause I feel like he needs alone time. so does Lynette but we all know your twin doesn’t count)#the living room has Lyney and Lynette’s gift set as well as Fremi’s in it #I made Arlecchino an office. for Business TM #and I think the last major thing I need to do is rearrange the dining room.#right now it’s just Furina’s giftset but I kinda wanna downsize it #that way it can be a dining room and kitchen #cause like. a family dining room doesn’t need to be that big #if we had all the house of the hearth kids here we’d definitely need that much room + probably more #but we’ve got a family of 5 here they’ll be fine with 1 big dining table #ofc I already have everyone’s outdoor giftsets set up too #and one day Arlecchino’s giftsets will be added but #I don’t know what they are yet so #Arlecchino #Furina //#Arlefuri #Lyney //#Lynette //#Freminet //#Genshin Impact //

chat i am NOT appreciating the stares i got from walking across campus to cvs in my hoodie and sweatpants as if we didn’t just sit through ANOTHER hurricane like chill man i didn’t sleep well let me get my monster to finish my logic homework in peace 😭

Guys working at an ice cream shop sounds really fun until it's yooper summer and there's six families crammed into your eensy weensy lobby and there's only two of you working behind the counter. Also you have to memorize the orders lest you embarass yourself asking them "I'm sorry sir, what did you want?" (literally the WORST).

Also it's old fashioned as HELL in there. Cash only. There's an ATM but it has some crazy upcharge. I actually love cash but JESUS I am so bad at getting the prices down into the calculator (I just don't have them memorized yet.... it will come). Terrifying sitting there with some Marine Corps vet staring over your shoulder.

#I'm sorry we can't dip your cone in red velvet we don't HAVE red velvet dip. What.#Some of these dudes just be making shit up from the menu btw.#Like if it's not on the menu we can TRY to make it but like... Idk how to charge u for that?????????#At least it's not uncomfortably hot nor cold. Thank goodness.#But I haven't felt that much anxiety since I was a middle schooler.
