Well have no fear, because I have some that is recommended, whether queer or queer-coded, these are movies you should watch.

Despite being forgotten or criticize being "woke", Strange World is a underrated gem that join the list of underrated and forgotten disney films such Lightyear, Treasure Planet and Atlantis.

It has an gay main character and a diverse cast including an 3-legged dog. Inspired by classic sci-fi adventure film in the 50's and 60's, Strange World is fun adventure film about an generation of a family dealing with their own faults, also opening a door of possibilities with it's lore.

Freaky is a fun twist on the classic "Freaky Friday" trope, telling the story of a teenager who swap bodies with a serial killer, thanks to a mystical artifact.

Co-written and directed by the guy who also made Happy Death Day, Freaky delivers some gore-filled kills and feel good laughs while offering some parts of queer identity along with a gay character who proud of who he is.

The Fear Street trilogy itself not only joined the list of amazing horror films in 2021 but also an spot of queer horror.

It follows an romance of two lesbian teens in the 90's not only dealing with homophobia but also a ancient connected curse of the town of Shadyside.

Chalked with nostalgia of classic horror films like Scream, Friday the 13th and The Crucible.

Fear Street wins fans over with it's violent kills, remarkable characters, talented performances, and great and relatable queer representation.

Jennifer's Body introduced an another horror icon and bisexuality.

Megan Fox plays Jennifer Check who was possessed by a demon and targets on guys after being sacrificed by an fame-hungry band.

Tho Jennifer is not a lesbian, but the films does show that she is interested in both boys and girls, claiming she goes both ways and has some interest in her friend Needy, even kissing her too.

The cult classic not only has an amazing bisexual icon but tackles heavy themes such as assault, exploitation and the female gaze.

Bottoms is a must watch masterpiece, chaotic, brutal and gut-bursting funny, the film follows two high school friends that made a fight club to just hook up with two popular cheerleaders.

With an ridiculously unhinged final act, meet cute romance, and jokes that have you laughing your butt off. This 2000's coded movie is a a treat to start off the month.

After rewatching it again, Arlo has queer heavy themes if you think about it. Looking back, one of the film's characters, has some queer-coded hints about him.

I'm not going to spoil on the titular character, I think you should watch the film in order to get what I'm saying.

Other than that the film has an amazing soundtrack and has colorful characters as well.

Luca definitely is a queer film without a doubt. Focusing on two young sea monsters, spending an unforgettable summer in the town of Portorosso on the Italian Riviera.

It's themes of self discovery, chosen families, homophobia and acceptance.

This emotionally sweet sea-filled tale is a instant classic with a pretty much Canon couple too.

Robot Dreams also has hints of queer companionship and also is a story of loneliness, the film's out now, you definitely think you should see it.

Based off the comic in 2007, Robot Dreams is set in the 80's of New York City.

A lonely dog assemble and befriends a robot in a dialogue-less journey of friendship, love and rusted parts.

There's no surprises are a lot of clear queer-tonic themes in the films, especially among the two main characters, Robot Dreams is a perfect way to spend your summer.

Last year, Nimona was not only one final goodbye from Blue sky studios but is a part of the best films of 2023.

No surprise that the creator of the graphic novel also did Netflix's She-ra, the film is heavy on not only disability but also gender identity and transphobia.

it's a film that everyone will enjoy, thanks to it's commentary and electrifying performances by the cast, combine with pretty metal animation, Nimona is the film you should definitely watch.

Okay as someone who does fighting, I don’t know why it’s so hard to write like what the funk. Like how do I describe a character putting their leg down after blocking an outside thigh kick with their shin, and then pivoting on that foot to spin and bring their other leg around to kick the other person in the chest, and then being pulled forward by their own weight and speed after said other person dodges the kick? Like????? (That is basically how I’ve described it in the fic). Like does that kind of make sense? Like just a little bit even? I hope so

Anyways, I plan to finish sometime today bc I don’t think I’ll be doing much at this point. I wanna go play soccer but the tum tum hurts so I guess not.

Basically no changes except the facial hair?? Oh yep and Ballister's a hijabi😎

I have thought about whether I should make Boldheart wear hijab but the idea to draw it as an upside-down shield (shield is Ballister's symbol according to the artbook) won me over😭 plus I made it look like his own hair shape from the side!

Drawing Ballister's face without his moustache was a challenge tbh😭😭 his facial hair is what completes his look and he looks weird without it

This little thing I made grey in the drawing? It's not hair, it's the first fabric under the brown one. I wanted it to resemble Ballister's haircut but also like not really

Now, to Ambrosius ig???

Nothing too complicated, it's basically him but with bigger chest and some resemblance of hips (have you seen my man? His cake so small it isn't even a cake)

I also like the idea of longer hair but like. You can't take away lesbian's undercut, she will collapse to the floor and dissolve

Captain Gloria

Or my way of making Ambrosius both a momma's boy and a neglected child. Because it's funny.

I hope you all know that Ambrosius mother in my mind is Captain Gloria, a 6ft tall aromantic pansexual TANK of a woman who got married only to have her child and keeps her husband (retired ex knight or whatever. Literally useless man) in a nice little house while she continues to live in the Goldenloin mansion raising Ambrosius (he visited his dad once in a while! The man in just too fucking tired of everything to care)

She didn't take a maternity leave with her pregnancy until they practically forced her to because she was COMMITED to her work. Like, don't sleep don't leave kinda committed, and Ambrosius may have taken one too many hits to the head when he was still in the womb so. She sees him more as a duty/pet/price than as an actual child and definitely has a really toxic and fucked up way of raising him but she loves him more than anything else in this world. Almost. She didn't really care about the thing with Ballister (mainly because she never really had a relationship that went past the physical aspect so she didn't really get what the fuck her son was going on about) but thought that it was kinda funny and he would probably grow out of it and become more focused in actual important stuff (being the best knight, for example!) buuuut she would've let them get married (in secret, clearly) because she knew what it felt like to despise what was expected of your love life.

The only good thing to ever come from her marriage was Ambrosius. Even if he was more of a demand than an actual want, she loved him.

She was born only to be the Captain, she lived only to be the Captain and she died in duty. Her son was born for the same purposes, raised for the same purposes, but managed to have a different life.

She probably would've been proud.

-Ballister is still called Ballister and the black lipstick is supposed to simulate the man's beard and mustache 😭 gave it my all.

-Ambrosius is called Ambrosia (just the feminine version of the name 😔) and she's literally just Ambrosius but with boobs and no lil' beard. And also very in love with her wifey Ballister 😭 gave it my all too.

-Nimona's still Nimona and she becomes Ballister's sidekick and they overthrow the government and stuff

-Balli using lipstick means she gets to leave kissy stains when she kisses, she sometimes ditches her 24 hours, waterproof lipstick just for this.

First off, I love how you combined everything for Power of Five. I haven’t seen a rewrite that removed the StarClan vs Dark Forest stuff and I think you’ve done something super cool with it! I was wondering if you’ve thought about romance for the Five - are you keeping canon pairings or getting Funky with it?

Aw thanks! I'm glad that you like it! One of the core things I wanted to address in this rewrite was how StarClan being so omnipresent drove the plots, in my opinion, way too much. I also wanted to make atheist cats like Mothwing, Cloudtail, etc. more believable and honestly, add more variety of belief in the clans.

As for your question, I think I'm gonna do a little of both! Here's what I've been thinking so far:

Jayfeather: he'll stay single, but have a really close, teasing friendship with Willowshine. Think two friends who do nothing but insult each other, but also really love each other and would defend one another from anything. Jay is aroace and really doesn't have much interest in romance.

Lionblaze: I think I'm going to keep LionCinder, but change some small things about how they get together, etc. Cinderheart is not going to be a reincarnation of Cinderpelt anymore, she's just named in honor of Cinderpelt. Instead of it being about her being reincarnated and him being a prophecy cat, it'll be about both of them finding their identities and becoming more comfortable in their own skins. Lion is bi and definitely had a thing for Berrynose when they were younger.

Hollyleaf: Holly is a lesbian. She will probably have a fling with Heathertail at some point since they will grow up together, but Heather will ultimately end up with Holly's brother Breezepelt. Beyond that I'm not sure where I want to go with her. I kind of like aunty butch lesbian vibes for Holly. I might also decide to give her a cross clan relationship to really push her conflicted feelings about the rules and warrior code in Skyfall... (cough cough Hazeltail cough cough). Although any permanent romance for Holly wouldn't be until after this arc. She's got so much on her plate in the arc that I can't imagine trying to add any more than some flirting or a brief relationship.

Flametail: I'm not sure about Flametail. He's straight, and I'll probably give him a love interest in some capacity since Holly and Jay won't really be getting one. Most likely I would pair him with either Olivenose or Shrewfoot, since they are both mollies that are roughly the same age as him. I'd definitely like the chance to flesh out ShadowClan background characters more.

Dovewing: Eventually I think she'd end up with Tigerheart (Goldenheart in Skyfall). It wouldn't happen in this arc, it would be in Skyfall AVoS, but I think I would keep DoveTiger. How they meet and all that would be different, because the circumstances are very different in Skyfall, but I could see Dove helping Golden free his clan from Darktail since Dovewing has prior experience with Darktail when he and his rogues were attacking SkyClan.
