I know I have become exceptionally bad at making proper posts if it's not any reblogs or my art or anything but!

It just hit my brain that the next east asian zodiac in the circle is the year of the snake. So next year is the year of the snake, and you all know which character is associated witht he snake, right? Yes, you're right Hua Binan from 2ha / The Husky and His White Cat Shizun. So next year we have all good excuses to draw more of Hua Binan! And ShiMei of course, although, honestly you never need an excuse to draw ShiMei, I mean he's pretty right?

Halloween 2024!

This year's halloween drawing is indeed an interior illustration. However it is a little blurry as my camera on my phone is still very tried x'D However I'm happy with it overall. Nothing special, but well, Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all enjoy it :)

I made a Bai Wuxiang-inspired tea candle holder. I was a little hesistant to try making the staf of Bai Wuxiang more properly since I'm still very inexperienced, but I think it would be cool to try that too! What do you think? Would you like a Halloween decoration like this? The clay used is all from Fimo. The usual white, translucent red and nightglow :)

Next week is Halloween! Although I'm not the person who goes out trick or treating, I love creating halloween themed art :) So look, I painted a haunted house with a lot of blue ghost fires. I bet they're burning with freezing passion >D

The halloween illustration for this year is finally finished. I have drawn Emma last year for Halloween so this year she’s acompanied by the king of Autumn and his name is Lier. I should draw him single as well some time xD Well, Emma’s actual skin colour is a lot darker than in this picture, I just don’t have the right colour for her taint in copics nor in coloured pencils so this is why she appears much paler. I had a lot of fun drawing this, especially because I was able to put in a lot of details. I’m not very good with small things, so I was very careful. Halloween-craft anyone?

It's a tea candle holder and I used an old glass for this. The ghosts are painted with a layer of glow in the dark paint. This was really funny and the first time I tried to combine glass with polymer clay - which is indeed not the easiest to do.

Hello friends! I'm finally done with the fiant painting of Mikazuki Munechika on his giant lotus flowers! In Spring, one of my colleagues who was leaving for a new fulltime job gifted me this huge 150 cm x 50 cm canvas with the comment: here, paint something pretty. He also said that there are too few of my own drawings/paintings in my office, so here we go. I started painting this in June and finished it today. Fair enough I do have taken looonger breaks inbetween and I also repainted stuff and oh, there was a lot :P

Here have some detailed shots. I'm also very sorry that my camera on the phone isn't able to catch good photos anymore :/ It's too old for this, I guess. I wished I could take better photos of him, because he really looks more beautiful on canvas x'D

Just for your information - the cresent moon in the sky is also layered with glow in the dark gel, so that means it glows a few hours during the night when it got loaded with sun- or artificial light :3

It's crispy colourful leaves and pumpkin spice pumpkin season :D So here have a bunch of... Pumpkins!! :D Seriously I say this each autumn: I wanna paint pumpkins and more autumncoloured pieces and never really get to it before fall is over. So here we go :3
