Once more, Happy New Year everyone! I'm starting the year strong with a new favourite Touken Ranbu ship Oodenta Mitsuyo and Suishinshi Masahide. But hear me out here, when I and some of my friends had our annual online meeting and I started to draw this, there was this plot going on:

Suishinshi brought freshly made Ichigo Daifuku over to Oodenta's store house. Of course the Ichigo Daifuku were made by Kuwana Gou and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, but Suishinshi is not the type to enjoy sweets on his own and so his first intuition is to go over to Oodenta. Also because his brother Sohayanotsurugi is on a survey mission with Minamoto Kiyomaro. Also it's new year of course so equipped with all those delicious treats and a New Year's decoration which he puts on the Kotatsu in Oodenta's overall cold storehouse, Suishinshi bursts inn and is all sunshine and happy and maybe also a little awkward - still he is little Suishinshi Masahide right?! Not only did they get close on a mission of defeating Taira no Masakado, they also helped Kotegiri Gou to put on a stage play so there's somehow something between them. Probably more details happened than they would admit to others. Just trust me there. Oodenta sees the Kadomatsu and goes on to an (romantic?) attack on Suishinshi because he actually mixes up the custom of kissing someone under the mistletoe on Christmas.

No, we spend not enough thought how this came into action 😂 Also I hate drawing hands so so so passionately much.

So here the summary of my favourite pieces this year - the giant painting of Mikazuki Munechika is not counted here.That has a special place.

For next year I hope again for some progress and of course mor variation and diversity in my art. More combinations of landscape and characters in my art. That would be awesome :3

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The year 2024 is almost over! Well done getting though it! I wish you all a good sliding into the new year of 2025. It's the Year of the Snake and the type of snake is a wood snake for this circle.

So I made this toatbag using fabric paint to draw on. It was quite unusual to use fabric paints, especially when you use medium for acrylic paints turning then into fabric paint. The fabric paint markers were easier to handle but man that took time.

Oh Look! Oodenta Mitsuyo and Suishinshi Masahide are walking in the snowy winter wonderland! They also decorated a pinetree they liked instead of taking it in. Why is Suishinshi blushing? Either because he takes Oodenta's hand or because he wasn't interested in Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone and/or Happy Holidays! Whatever you are celebrating and if you're not celebrating anything, please have calm and leisurely days to slow down and velkome the new year in a few days. A huge shoutout to everyone who is working these days. People in service, people in medical and social occupations, all of you who work for making our cozy festive time safer and cleaner. I appreciate your efforts a lot and you are unfortunately not mentioned enough. Thank you for 2024. For all your likes, for all your reblogs for all your comments. Let's walk towards 2025, it's not long to go.

Okay here I go, posting the wintery Koryuu Kagemitsu, wishing all the Saniwa to stay warm. Koryuu has brought little Mistle, a small dragon who wishes you all a cozy festive time.

It's december first! At the same time it is also the first Sunday in advent!! How to celebrate it? With a Touken Ranbu illustations x'D My crack ship Oodenta Mitsuyo and Suishinshi Masahide are going to celebrate the day in each other's company. And yes, I have to admit I really fell in love with their dynamic in the musicals (also I think they haven't met in the anime ...ever x'D).

The making of this illustation was a hard labor and I tell you, I probably won't do a completely digital illustration again for a while x'D Firstly my computer didn't save the png file correctly and it looked like an accident and the save-file of the WIP was also corrupted and all the work lost which I had done for three hours... So I just used the weird looking png-file and tried to rescue it. This is why this looks like a mess or a horror show x'D

I know I have become exceptionally bad at making proper posts if it's not any reblogs or my art or anything but!

It just hit my brain that the next east asian zodiac in the circle is the year of the snake. So next year is the year of the snake, and you all know which character is associated witht he snake, right? Yes, you're right Hua Binan from 2ha / The Husky and His White Cat Shizun. So next year we have all good excuses to draw more of Hua Binan! And ShiMei of course, although, honestly you never need an excuse to draw ShiMei, I mean he's pretty right?

Halloween 2024!

This year's halloween drawing is indeed an interior illustration. However it is a little blurry as my camera on my phone is still very tried x'D However I'm happy with it overall. Nothing special, but well, Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all enjoy it :)

I made a Bai Wuxiang-inspired tea candle holder. I was a little hesistant to try making the staf of Bai Wuxiang more properly since I'm still very inexperienced, but I think it would be cool to try that too! What do you think? Would you like a Halloween decoration like this? The clay used is all from Fimo. The usual white, translucent red and nightglow :)

Next week is Halloween! Although I'm not the person who goes out trick or treating, I love creating halloween themed art :) So look, I painted a haunted house with a lot of blue ghost fires. I bet they're burning with freezing passion >D

Happy Halloween everyone! BunLian has a very ripped and old pumpkin leaf as a hat. But little Fox Hua Cheng has found a whole glowing jack-o-lantern with huge leaves that BunLian can use :3
