Moon Magick
What Is A Moon Magick?
In many cultures around the world, practitioners have used the position of the moon, as well as the phases of the moon in their practice. Each phase of the moon is perfect for certain types of magickal workings. Not all witches depend on the particular moon phase. Many develop their own methods and techniques through trial and error to find out what works best. Those that do use the timing of the moon do so by choosing the moon phase most conducive to their magickal workings. This gives their magickal workings some extra lunar energy boost.

This is the time for change and for being open to, and looking for new opportunities, tilling the soil and planting seeds actually, and the seeds of ideas.
Waxing Moon
The Moon is beginning to gain strength as it grows in size, and goes from a new to a full Moon, this is a perfect time for growth and increasing things, growth within a relationship, financial growth, a time for learning and gaining knowledge.
If someone is thinking about pregnancy, this is a time of fertility, and it is an exceptional time for communication, in a business matter, or within a relationship. This is also an auspicious time for any legal matters, especially those where finances are concerned, if a healing spell, or healing of any type is needed, this is the time.
Waxing Gibbous
During the phase of the Gibbous Waxing Moon anything to do with increase is compatible; this is a good time for minor magic as the lunar energy is waning.
Full Moon
The full Moon is the most powerful phase, this is when the Moon is seen in its glorious fullness, this is a time of enlightenment and heightened psychic awareness. It is a time when everything comes together, it is a time of ideas, also a time of commitment, to a person, idea or project. Moon water is very similar to Sun water. But rather than being charged by the sun, it’s charged by the moon. Moon water can be useful for helping boost the energy of a spell, to help an intention grow, protect and to cleanse a space.

100 Witchcraft Tips in 100 Days!
Day 2 - Integrating Herbs into Your Daily Routine
1. Herbal Teas with Purpose
Herbal Tea is a simple, easily accessible, and discreet method to bring magic to your daily routine. It doesn't matter if you use premade blends or if you're doing it fresh with loose tea as it works all the same. When choosing your herbs or premade blend you should pick something that aligns with your intention. For example, chamomile, lavender, and lemon balm can help calm your mind and body and promotes peace and tranquility. Peppermint and ginger are great for bursts of energy alongside promoting strength and focus. When you're sipping on the tea do so mindfully with intent.
2. Herbal Spell Sachets and Jars
Another simple and easy way to bring some magic to your daily routine is through the use of spell jars and sachets. Sachets can also be easily made at home with just a little fabric and a needle and thread. If you want to make a basic sachet at home simply start by cutting out a 6.5in x 12 inch piece of fabric. Afterwards simply hem the shorter sides, fold the fabric in half, and sew the longer sides together. Finally to finish the sachet, turn the piece inside out and use a chopstick or other various item to flatten the corners. Once your sachet is completed you can fill it with a variety of herbs for different intentions and tie it up with a ribbon or cord. These sachets can be used in the bath for ritual baths. Jars can be filled with various herbs crystals, sigils, and other various items then sealed with wax.
3. Burning Herbs and Incense
Smoke cleansing through incense or loose incense made from herbs is a common method for cleansing and purification. There are various herbs for cleansing including rosemary, cedar, and sage. Keep in mind the use of smudging White Sage is a closed practice and as such should be avoided unless you are specifically part of that practice. To cleanse using loose incense light the herbs and allow the smoke to carry away any negative energy.
4. Cooking with Herbs for Magic
Using various herbs during cooking is one of the easiest, simplest, most discreet methods of herbal witchcraft that I know. It's also one of the most versatile methods I know to cast various spells and is one of my favorite methods to use every day. You want to prep by picking out a dish full of herbs and ingredients to match your intent. As you prepare it focus on the intentions and stir with purpose to channel energy into the dish.
5. Offerings on Your Altar
Herbs can also be used as offerings on your altar. This works in both large open altars to the discreet mint tin altars and doesn't require too much effort to do. This can be done to honor spirits, deities, or just to simply connect with the energy of the plant itself. For protection rosemary is a great choice. For prosperity you can offer basil or cinnamon to attract abundance and growth. You can replace the herbs as needed and thank them for their energy before offering them back to the earth afterwards.

hello :) i’m trying to improve my gut health so i was wondering if you know what i should eat / take to have a healthy gut? thank you ♡
Hi angel <3
Eat foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, legumes, and nuts are high in fiber, which can promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
Fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, olives, pickles, kimchi, and kombucha contain probiotics that can help balance your gut flora.
Prebiotic foods feed the good bacteria in your gut. Examples include garlic, onions, leeks, asparagus, bananas, berries, tomatoes.
Drinking enough water helps keep your digestive system working well. Add some lemon in your water too.
High-sugar and low-fiber processed foods can negatively impact gut health. Limit the amount of processed foods you eat.
Stress can affect your gut health, so try meditation or yoga.
Try to get 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night.
Exercising regularly also helps support a healthy gut.
Eat less sugar and artificial sweeteners.
Drink bone broth daily. It helps with intestinal healing and prevents diseases.
Make sure you are taking enough magnesium.
I will write a gut healthy grocery list on a separate post :)

Produce Scrap Witchcraft
Being a kitchen witch, I constantly find myself with scraps like peels, piths, stems, and cores. Not only is it productive, it's also great to use scraps that would have otherwise ended up in the trash! Here are some ways I use scraps in witchcraft.
Pretty much anything can be dried and used in spell jars and rituals.
Bell pepper (I grow heirloom peppers) seeds are often planted to encourage growth in my home. If I have too many plants, I will give them to friends or family to encourage their growth as well.
Carrot peels, celery leaves, garlic ends, and onion scraps are usually combined into a pot with water to make veggie stock infused with their properties. Onions for protection, celery for mental power, garlic for protection and purification, and carrot for a fertile future.
Apple cores are usually tossed into a simmer pot with stale cloves, allspice, ginger peels, old cinnamon sticks, and orange peels. This is a home blessing for peace, love, and growth.
Lemons that have been zested and juiced are often blended with moon water and strained for a powerful concoction. Lemon properties include purification, cleansing, and removal of blockages. This water is amazing for spraying outside around the house to protect you from magical blockages and bad intentions.
Limes can also be blended with moon water for promoting tranquility and strengthening love, as well as cleansing and purification. Spray outside and around the house to encourage familial or romantic bonds.
There are so many ways to use scraps, so don't hesitate to do some research and find out what'll work well for you! As always, do your own research and blessed be.
Support your local witch on Ko-Fi or at my store, Hallow Grove!

Litha, Summer Solstice, Midsummer – circa June 22
Litha 2024: A Witches Guide to the Pagan Summer Solstice Celebration
Litha, also known as the Summer Solstice, is a pagan holiday celebrated on or around June 21st in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the longest day and shortest night of the year, and marks the official start of summer. Litha stands as one of the four 'lesser sabbats,' marking the pinnacle of the solar calendar. In pagan traditions, it is a time to celebrate the power of the sun and the abundance and growth of the natural world. It is also seen as a time of balance between light and dark, and a turning point in the year when the days begin to grow shorter and the nights longer. This holiday is a time of abundance, growth, and light, and is associated with a variety of correspondences, including colours, crystals, deities, traditions, and ways to observe the holiday.
