Well, this kdrama was highly rated everywhere and I saw everyone mention how sad it was so I got curious and decided to start watching. I think the overall premise of the show is very interesting and I was instantly hooked as I could relate to it to a certain extent.

However, I think that's what made me more critical, since I lost my mom at a young age I couldn't help but not agree with how things were portrayed from time to time. This made me get even more personal with how the story was developed so bare in mind that it is a good show, this review is just heavily influenced by my life experiences.

I would like to go more in depth on why I dislike it but I fear I would just end up spoiling it but to summarize it (and I'm literally only mentioning things from the first episode): I don't appreciate how the mother is just erased from the daughters life, I understand the need for stability but lying and pretending she never existed literally enraged me.

Moreover, some characters lacked personality and that took points off from acting, even though its not their fault though. I must say that it's just the character they were given.

I have to disagree with the opinion of some on the ending being bad, I think it was needed and it made sense, I understand some people would have liked it to pan out a different way but it wouldn't have made sense. But it is not good. And this is for my personal reasons as well, not because of how it was played out.

oh my god. don’t postpone. my sister forced me to watch it with her because i kept postponing it as well, but it was so worth it when we finally watched. the writing, cinematography, editing, ACTING. and the cast is so stacked, it’s crazy.

putting aside my obvious love for jinho and pentagon, i really do think crezl is such a standout unique team for phantom singer that adds a new dimension to the show’s concept of creating a crossover genre group. each of them has a totally different and distinct musical background: lee seungmin is an operatic baritone, lim kyuhyung is a musical actor, kim suin is a gugak/korean traditional music singer, and jinho is a pop singer obviously. and even before the finals, i think each of them stand out with their willingness and ability to experiment with genre. at least that’s why this specific group of singers is so exciting to me, and now they’ve shown how well they work together and combine their diverse strengths!! not to mention how fun they’ve been to watch (their team greeting is literally ��where is the fun? in crezl!” lol) like.. i couldn’t dream of a better final team for jinho and the other teams are so talented so i truly have no clue how this will turn out. but no matter who wins i hope they do continue working together because they are SO fun to watch
