Here's an ink drawing of one of my follower's OC, drawn in lavender ink!

before the days had names, he was there for the first,

stygian skin blent into shadow,

to sow seeds among the lavender and oregano

before the blizzards hit.

millennia later, those questal kernels have sprouted, and

he lured me with pomegranate arils from the palm of a hand

that guided my wooden sword to his world of the damned.

i gathered my friends and

brought them with me, into their fears,

where we became what we believed we would—

and now we’re all mad, here.

i cracked my chest open to find

the embers still burning inside

my hope, my dreams, my pride

it was my faith in god that died

when i questioned truth and right

i was abandoned by holy guides

and met with an endless stretch of night

he remained out of reach and out of sight

when i learned i’d been lied to all my life

i realized i was their hostage in hindsight

just a tool to use against the strife

they were all too happy to disguise

as their own savior in the spotlight

now it wasn’t the years or tears that made me wise

but my refusal to be the one victimized

so I took fate hostage and made her mine

for she controls things far greater than the divine

What died inside of you?
