my favorite authorization moments are honestly when the hunter starts walking towards the monster only to stop dead in their tracks and go "alma?". its so silly and it makes so much sense and i LOVE the existence of verbal permission rather than just implication. i think my hunter is autistic as shit

To the people that think if you don't like DT it's only because you're a Wuk Lamat hater:

There are absolutely completely valid story reasons to dislike DT and its writing. It was deeply flawed and it's okay if you still liked it anyways. I like FFXV but I'm not going to say anyone who didn't like it was just a Noctis hater. As it is, Wuk Lamat being cool did not save her presence from grating when I was forced to play as the camera for her accomplishments while Akira did next to nothing and frankly could've not been there for all the effect we had.

Even with lower stakes, the protagonist of the game that you are playing should still have an impact on the story.

Made these two while at Con+Alt+Del this past weekend- a Wuk Lamat for Sena Bryer and Bakool Ja Ja for Javier Prusky!

We had the privilege of having our art booth placed next to them in the corner. I was definitely nervous (and excited), but they both turned out to be really kind and gracious neighbors! Overall extremely cool people! Hoping I can run into them again on the circuit and say hello!

I’ll likely be digitizing these later, but the originals have been gifted to their respective voice actors! We’ll see how quickly I can get to these after Christmas!

like i agree it's a little weaker bc it's trying to emulate the last two expansions but i need people to know that just because you dislike something doesn't mean it's bad writing
