It's devastating when computer restarts overnight for updates and I find out I didn't save any of the canvases I had open in Clip Studio.

But it's so much MORE devestating when Blender crashes and I discover that I hadn't actually saved in days.

last song: one of king george's songs from the Hamilton soundtrack was playing when I started this. thank spotify for the song itself but I still love the soundtrack. she used to be mine from Waitress at the end of this. I lost track of all the songs in between

favourite colour: purple. and the mix of dark colours you get from iridescent purpley things. dark grey is also good

last book: I'm about a third/almost halfway through Doppelganger by Naomi Klein and I am Struggling. it's good but it's also due back to the library soon and I'm forcing myself to read it. I'm on book five of the iliad but keep falling asleep during it. it's the robert fitzgerald translation if that makes any difference. I'm going through it so slowly

last movie: I watched about half of An Ideal Husband earlier this month. I keep saying I'll get back to it but I haven't. I'm not a big movie person tbh

last tv show: I watched some of You Can't Ask That on netflix. but my first thought was Dimension 20's the seven so both?

sweet/spicy/savoury: yes. sweet (chocolate), savoury, spicy. in that order. I like spicy, I just have bad spice tolerance

last thing I searched online: "an ideal husband 1999" in case I had the wrong movie in my head. before that was "fomented" because I read it, didn't know what it meant, and wanted to know if I was missing some context by working out the meaning from the rest of the sentence. I'm reading an ebook, I can hold down and get the definition. and yet I googled it

current obsession: what the fuck is wrong with me??? there's a lot of health fuckery going on rn and a corresponding amount of anxiety to match. I'm also playing a lot of animal crossing so that's fun :)

looking forward to: an appointment I have next week (see above), a friend is planning a hang out thing soon. I have vague birthday plans for next month so i was enjoying thinking about that. NT live are streaming Macbeth to cinemas in a couple of weeks and I'm definitely going if I'm up to it

hot take but if your "show don't tell" in your story is taken so far that literally nothing is spelled out and by rights the characters themselves shouldn't even be able to figure out what each other are talking about, you need to reconsider your commitment to that idea
