I'd love to request a dazai x reader (fem or gn will work!) where he asks reader to commit double suicide with him, and to literally everyone's shock, they agree! So the agency (mainly kunikida and atsushi) have to repeatedly sabatoge their attempts, and during that time, the two start to get to know eachother better and grow closer whilst they aren't plotting their own demises. Eventually dazai starts to fall for them, but one day reader tries to attempt on their own life solo due to being unable to handle the pains and pressures of life anymore. Ofc they were rescued just in time, but it made him realize that he wants to see reader safe and happy, and that he had finally found his reason to live through his love for them. Extra points if he confesses his love at some point and reader accepts!!

I did probably a concerning amount of research on suicide, (Plus looked for so long for Dazai's stupid lil book) for this so I hope you enjoy!

Break time at the Armed detective agency usually means having some coffee at their favorite cafe. As the group sat down Dazai was glancing around when his eyes caught the sight of the new waitress waiting next to a barista Dazai frequently flirted with. The girl had semi-messy h/c colored hair, her eyes a dull e/c. Her features framed her face so beautifully. Dazai's mouth curled into a smirk as he stared at her. Kunikida caught wind and immediately irked. "Dazai.."

As the waitress approached the table, Dazai read the name stage reading "Y/n". He smiled as she stopped at their table. Before she could get a word out Dazai grabbed her hand in his. "Such soft hands.. And beautiful eyes as well. Would you, Belladona, do me the honors of accompanying me to a double suicide?"

WHACK

Dazai was now lying on the floor, as Kunikida brushed himself off. "I'm so sorry Ma'am, he's always like this-" Atsushi apologized as Y/n leaned down to the man on the floor. "I'd gladly join a double suicide." She smiled down at him.

"WHAT!?!"

"Really!?!" Dazai yelled as he stood up, grabbing Y/n's hand again. Y/n chuckled as she nodded at him. "I get off at 6. You work in this building correct? I'll meet you on the roof." "Yes yes, that sounds wonderful~!"

Everyone at the table stared shell-shocked as Y/n takes their order normally like nothing just happened. As dazai kicked his legs in his own little world, Kunikida Atsushi and Junichiro all stared at each other in concern. Kunikida pulled them behind a menu quickly.

"As much as I'd love to let that dimwitt meet his end, we need him and that girl to stay alive. It isn't right letting a young lady with so much life in her die with that blasted Dazai." Kunikida sighed. Atsushi and Junichiro nodded in sync.

"Once Dazai leaves to meet her we should follow them," Atsushi whispered. Junichiro hummed in agreement. "It's decided then." Junichiro finished. The three quickly separated from the menu as Y/n walked over and set down their drinks. As she walked away dazai starstruck-ingly called out; "See you tonight Madameeee~". Y/n peeked over her shoulder, smiling at him. Dazai felt his heart flutter a bit at those beautifully dull eyes.. They seemed to draw him in for more.

As Dazai whipped open the doors to the building roof, he caught sight of the lady ready to accompany him with his final dance. Her hair was gently blowing in the warm Yokohama breeze as she stared off into the sky. What was she looking at? Dazai didn't know. But her eyes looked so sickeningly dull in that moment. But still, so beautiful..

"I'm pleasantly surprised to see you here! I was concerned you agreed simply to make me leave you alone." The dark-eyed man said, leaning next to her. "I'd never joke about suicide. Such a beautiful ending to a sick existence." Y/n spoke lowly. In the cafe, she had a sort of customer voice, but there was no trace of it here. Dazai smirked a bit at this.

"I should let you know now, I'm not interested in pain. I don't know exactly what you're into though.." Dazai teased her. "Pain is not something I'm looking for either. Just a quick ending."

Dazai chuckled, quickly whipping out his little red book. "Suffocation, Hanging, Poisoning, Shooting, Jumping," He read off as Y/n stared at him. Only blinking in response. "All the ideas you could storm up are right here in this very book."

"Ah! What a glorious book,, if I wasn't planning on dying I'd buy a copy.." Y/n smiled lightly. "But.." she continued, grabbing the book and shutting it quickly. "I'd like to try jumping first."

With a quick grab of Dazai's shirt, the two were suddenly falling off the roof of the building. Y/n shut her eyes, waiting for the end of it all.

Poof.

The two landed on a bunch of garbage bags stacked up on each other. Y/n quickly sat up in disappointment as Dazai lay on the ground is fear and confusion. "Dang."

Dazai suddenly bursted into laughter. Y/n hummed, turning to him. "What's so funny?" Dazai wiped a tear from his eye as he sat up too. "You're the most forward suicidal girl I've ever met, my dear Y/n." He chuckled. Y/n blushed lightly before standing up.

"No matter.. We'll try again. Tomorrow. You can choose the method." She smiled at him. Dazai chuckled as he stood, lending her a hand up as he did so. "It's a date." He joked.

"GAHHHH I THOUGHT WE WEREN'T GONNA MAKE IT." "Oh be quiet Atsushi, my Ideals were almost perfect."

There were the secret team, two sweaty messes, and one writing vigorously in his notebook. The three had watched Dazai enter the roof before running down to prepare in case they jumped, finishing just before they did.

"This might be a long couple of days.." Junichiro said quietly.

"Oiiiii! Y/n dear!" Dazai yelled as he entered the roof. "Ah, hello Dazai." the girl lightly smiled. "What will we be doing today?"

"Oh, Y/n you're here late! Well? Shall we begin?"

"Dazai! Hurry we'll miss the train!" "Yes yes, my dear!"

The two met almost every day.

Month 2

The two had been testing the faith of this world as they attempted suicide again and again. Slowly, Dazai started to see something he hadn't before. Something fluttered in his chest..

The way she gets so distracted, the way she turned to yell at him when he took a joke too far, the way her nose scrunched up in such a way, those eyes.. Those beautifully dull eyes.

What was this feeling in Dazai's chest?

As Dazai thought intensely at his desk the others in the office grew worried. "What's up with Dazai today?" Atsushi mumbled. "I'm not sure.. I've never seen him think this much before."

"It's so clear what his problem is." Ranpo mumbled as he sucked on a loli. Dazai's head shot up immediately. "You know what this feeling is in my chest!? Please, explain Ranpo! Have I been poisoned? Is it fatal? Will I finally die? I can't die without Y/n."

Ranpo sighed as he bit off the lollipop. "No nothing of the sort, you're simply in love with that cafe waitress."

"Did he really just say that in front of us all!?"

Everyone at the agency thought in shock. Dazai's eyes were wide as he stared at Ranpo. His cheeks were flushed as he pondered the idea. The great Dazai? In love?

"This feeling in my chest.." He thought in shock. "That's a heart by the way," Ranpo smirked at the flustered Dazai. Dazai looked down for a moment, before springing up. He slammed his fist down loudly."This is..."

"Truly wonderful!!"

Dazai yelled as he pranced around the office. The majority of the group stared in dismay as he did so. "Ah, how perfect! I'm in love with the person I plan to meet my end with! We can plan a lovelier more passionate suicide now! How beautiful!"

"I should go confess right away! We can begin planning for our end together!" Dazai screamed with giddy as he threw his jacket on quickly. Ranpo's eyes scrunched together lightly as he thought. "You should go quickly, Dazai." He said as Dazai flung open the door.

"Will do!" Dazai yelled, running down the stairs to the cafe. As he opened the doors, he inhaled the lovely aroma of coffee before calling out. "Y/n my dear! I need to tell you something import-"

To Dazai's dismay, Y/n was nowhere to be seen in the cafe. He blinked a few times before walking towards one of the other workers. "Is Y/n here?" He asked with a hand covering his face.

"Ah, I'm sorry Dazai she didn't come in for her shift this morning.." The barista explained. Dazai's head popped up in surprise. "Uh, really?"

"Mhm, She didn't call in either. It's unlike her. She usually at least gives a call if she's gonna be late." The girl explained. Dazai's eyes furrowed as he thought.

"You should go quickly, Dazai."

Dazai's eyes shot open as he stared at the ground for a moment. "No.."

"Uh, Dazai?" The barista asked him. Dazai turned quickly, running out of the cafe in a hurry. His breath grew ragged as he ran quickly. He stopped in front of a familiar apartment complex to breathe. He then quickly ran in, ignoring the calls from a front desk worker. He sprinted and sprinted as he burst into Y/n's bedroom. "Y/n!" He screamed.

His eyes quickly scanned the room, finding it neatly tidied instead of the mess it was when he first visited her here. He then noticed the bathroom door shut tightly, while steam lightly flowed out of it. He ran to the door, trying the handle only to find it locked.

"Y/n!" He yelled, banging on the door. No answer. Dazai backed up quickly, before slamming his shoulder into the door, causing it to fly off its hinges. He looked up from the floor, seeing the sight he wanted to stop.

Y/n laid in the bathtub fully clothed. The water from the faucet flowed continually, causing the room to fill with steam. A bottle of some unmarked pills laid on the bathroom floor, followed by a knife of which she'd used to make her wrist bleed. The fresh red liquid had been used to fill a small vile next to her.

Dazai quickly stood up, stopping the water before reaching his hands into the hot water. He wrapped his arms around Y/n's figure, lifting her up into his arms before placing her on the floor gently. He quickly ran to the medicine cabinet, grabbing a cotton swab and a roll of bandages.

He ran back to her fast, checking her pulse before sticking the cotton swab deep into her throat repeatedly until a steady stream of fresh puke left her lips. He pulled her into his arms as she came to, putting pressure on her wrist. Y/n's head felt fuzzy as she looked up at him. "Dazai.."

"Ah, you're conscious. Please stay awake, and don't move too much." Dazai whispered lowly. Y/n's head fog cleared as she came to. Realizing she'd been saved.

"No.." She mumbled as hot tears began to form. She suddenly became enraged. "Why you of all people.." "Y/n?"

"I thought you understood.. I just want to disappear from this world. Don't you get it?"

"I want to save you. I want to live with you, even if it's only for a bit before we depart together. There's still so much I don't know about you. Y/n, I-"

"Stop it!!" Y/n screamed, kicking Dazai away. "Don't you dare say it! What can you do? You may save me for a bit, you may make me feel happy for a short while, but then what!? One day it won't work anymore! And I'll want to die again!"

She was shouting.

"That's why this is all too much! Just let me have a clean death alone! You're so selfish for even coming here and spouting that bull shit!"

Without even realizing it, Y/n was shouting.

"I'm tired..! I'm so tired of thinking there's hope! Tired of waiting, finding something close, then watching it disappear! I'll never find what I'm looking for! I'll... I'll never truly be saved! Don't you see Dazai!?"

Dazai's eyes stayed still as he watched the girl scream.

"I'm so tired.. So tired.! Don't let me despair anymore.. Just let me rot."

The silence in the room was sickening. No one dared move.

Until Dazai broke the silence by cackling. Y/n sniffled confused as she stared at him. "I just keep seeing new sides of you Y/n.. You really are sickeningly complicated." He smirked at her as he inched closer.

Dazai's lips suddenly slammed into Y/n's. The girl's eyes opened wide as she stared at him. After a few seconds, dazai pulled away, a small string of saliva trailing behind. He licked his lips lightly before speaking:

"You called me selfish for saving you.." Dazai spoke before leaning close to Y/n's ear. "But I'm an incredibly greedy man my dear.."

Y/n's face flushed more as Dazai grabbed her wrist, wrapping her wound up tightly. "Even if it takes me saving you a thousand times, I'll do it all over again. So we can have the perfect suicide together."

Y/n breathes in shakily as Dazai kisses her hand gently.

"So, let's try this again. Y/n, my dear. I'm in love with you. Will you join me, in living and dying in this life?"

Dazai's words brought more tears into Y/n's eyes as she nodded lightly.

"Yes."

I, myself, am a queerplatonic godspouse. But what does that mean? Well, in simple terms, godspousal is a relationship to a deity beyond devotion and worship. It can be romantic, queerplatonic, sensual, ect. It is a practice that I encourage people to understand and research in their own time, learn what other people's experiences with it are.

It is a path that demands an amazing level of communication with your deity and a lot of experience. It is based off mutual consent and understanding of each other, just like mortal relationships. It is also important to be able to take a "no" for an answer and step back if that is the case.

While it is a positive thing overall, I discourage minors to persue this path. For your own health and safety.

Belladona

Belladonna is about procrastination, both from tasks and emotions. It is a card about hiding from emotions, dodging them like bullets. For a devotee or worshipper, this can look like hiding from big truths that your practice has uncovered. The best way to end this cycle is to just feel and do. It sounds easier than it is but it is an important step forward. Belladona must learn to be comfortable with the uncomfortable.

Full name: Baroness Captain Kaida Cinnamon Samedi LaCroix the Pirate Empress, Deadly Sin of Greed, Daughter of the Death Loa

Generations ago there was an age of legendary Seafarers, Pirates, and Dreamers who's feats were like the stuff of fantasy. They set out into the vast unknown to seek their fortune and make their mark on the world. They left a ripple through the sea that would be felt long after they were gone and spoken of in tales across the world, but time passed, the unknown became known, the uncharted became charted, and pokemon became more cynical and concerned with the material. Dreams are but Fantasies of the night, and rather than being the symbols of freedom they once were, pirates became more infamous as ruthless cutthroats. Those who still clung to the older ways were seen as a relic of a bygone era...Then the self proclaimed Empress showed up, and took the Sea by Storm!

Kaida was born a Salandit slave to one of the most cruel Salazzle Queens on the Volcano; Bellinora Eleaika the Demon Queen, who infamously murdered her mother and sisters to take the throne. Kaida was not born biologically female, but Kaida knew very early on that she was not a boy Salandit, she described it as "having a Girl Soul" and gave herself the name Kaida "Little Dragon". Her mother however demeaned and dismissed her entirely and decided to give her the much less impressive nickname; "Kindling". She believed that Kaida's ideas were all simply some delusional ploy to get better treatment and dangerous to her authority because if she started treating one slave like a pokemon worth caring about then every Salandit would want the same.

At 7 years old Kaida had a plan to finally make her mother acknowledge her as a daughter, he had heard that there was an Oranguru Wizard named Osgarius Zoroaster somewhere on the island who could grant anyone their deepest desires if they were brave enough to make it to him and fulfil his tasks. Kaida thought she was pretty brave, but more so she was determined and stubborn, She would never give up until she got what she wanted! She traveled it to Osgarius's tower and told him her desire to be a fully a girl. Osgarius seemed to be a benevolent man who heard her out and agreed to help if she did something for him first to prove she deserved it...he asked her to steal the Totem of Lush Jungle a sacred artifact of the original royal tribes that granted their house power and authority over the Jungle. Kaida stole and brought back the Totem expecting Osgarius to uphold his part of the deal...Instead he betrayed Kaida, alerting Bellanora to "Kaida's attempt at using his power to Usurp her". Even without Osgarius's lies Bellanora would never have loved her, even if she had become a naturally Female Salandit, she'd only see her as competition for Kaida's little sister Belladona. Kaida was forced to flee the island leaving her sister and her best friend behind and stowed away on a ship to wherever it was going to bring her.

Kaida eventually arrived at Treasure Town, she spent time as a street urchin before being caught by the guards and taken to an orphanage, where she was discovered by another older Salazzle lady named Marie Lacroix. Despite her age she was never able to have eggs of her own. The two of them were exactly what the other had been looking for; Marie needed a daughter she could love and Kaida wanted a mother to be loved by and accept her for who she is. Admittedly she spoiled Kaida more than a little bit but she always made it a point to be involved in Kaida's interests, Kaida developed a love for ballet, theater, and adventure stories about Pirates. When Kaida was 14 Marie got sick and eventually passed away and Kaida was alone again...Another Salazzle close in age to herself named Aphrodite had an interest in Kaida and offered she join her Harem. Aphrodite promised to treat her as a girl Salandit but in exchange Aphrodite would take over the LaCroix fortune. It was a kind offer but Kaida didn't want to belong to anyone anymore, she rejected Aphrodite and declared she would become a Salazzle too. Thus their rivalry was born. Aphrodite would continuously use Kaida's insecurity about not being born a girl against her both verbally taunting Kaida and using her powerful Salazzle Pheromones to steal all of the Marie's Salandit servants. Kaida couldn't make the same powerful Pheromones that controls the harem, and would eventually ended up alone in a Mansion that she can't take care of by herself but still defiant and determined to keep forging on with her own path, whatever the hardship, she had to stand and fight for everything she had gained.

Kaida started her career as a Pirate boldly announcing that she would one day be the Queen of the Pirates and command every Pirate Ships across the seas! One day while a party she met a young Eevee named Morgan who had been raised by her father to be a perfect submissive bride so he could force his way into being royalty. Morgan's interactions with other children her age was always carefully dictated by their parents, so Kaida was the first person she met who was absolutely genuine. Kaida told her tales of her many adventures and misadventure and how she had defied the hand that life had given her, which in turn inspired Morgan as well to take her agency in her own life and defy her father. The two hit it off becoming friends and falling in love, even though her father forbid them from interacting, not that they cared what he thought. Kaida would just sneak in anyway and the two of them would run off to go have fun and mischief together. Kaida completley and unconditionally supported Morgan's dreams of being a Magician and told her once she had her own boat they would go around the world together performing in every city and every region. In time they would become known together as the Deadly Sins of Greed and Lust, the Salandit who does the impossible to take what she desires and the Eevee who let her heart guide her way in defiance of her controlling father.

Kaida would indeed do the impossible and more than once. First finding the Toxic Plate of Arceus which granted her a wish. She finally became entirely female and later evolved into the Salazzle she always knew she could be. One who can stand up to Aphrodite, Bellinora, Osgarius, and anyone else who once believed she was incapable of being anything more than what she started as. She will be the Queen of the Pirates, but first she is going to enjoy the journey to get there, owning the treasure at the end is never quite as fun as the adventure. Kaida's main weapons are a Flametongue Rapier which belonged to her mother that has the ability to stretch and bend like a whip, and a sass-talking Shiny Honedge named Render who picked her to be his wielder. Not featured in this picture, she also has a Greatsword created by the Forge God Heatran himself that can only be wielded by Kaida herself, a pole with a Metal Fist on the end, An Arcane Pistol that shoots Magic Bolts, a Crossbow that shoots Fireworks, a bunch of glass balls with explosive fluid in them, and a Sopt sign (A Stop sign but spelled wrong)

MY COMPLETE BELLA GOTH HEADCANON STORY

Elegant and athletic are two qualities that describe Bella―her name in Italian means "beauty" and it fits her better than her red leather corset. Descended from a long line of occultists, mystics and decadents, she has thrown convention to the wind. Her disdain for the pedestrian and normal is only matched by her sense of ennui and isolation. She distracts herself from this world with a little organ practice, exotic gardening of the lethal variety and a variety of activities from golf to miniature golf.

What you're gonna read is my headcanon after reading Alex Play Sims awesome theory about what happened to Bella Goth. You can read how he solved the mystery here. All sims mentioned here are CANON sims from the games. I haven't made any up; I only linked them.

ROOTS

Descended from a long line of occultists, mystics, and decadents...

The decadents from which Bella descends are none other than Princess Cordelia Thebe―daughter of Queen Thebe and Eetion Thebe―and her pirate lover, Rodrigo de Pablo. Yes, this makes Bella and Consort Capp first cousins once removed, and I love it. After much sailing, Cordelia landed on the haunted shores of Belladonna Coven, where Rodrigo and his coven-crew of pirate warlocks had their free ports. Rodrigo left everything for Cordelia and accompanied her on the Eppsilon. Together, they toured the Simuyan Sea, exploring Barnacle Bay, Bridgeport, and even the Llama People Islands. Years later, the couple had a daughter, Jocasta, born with the magical powers of Rodrigo's bloodline.

Jocasta was left in Belladonna Coven in the care of her great-aunts Medusha and Marasenna, who lived with her great-grandmother Belladonna. Liliana Sidi, Rodrigo's mother and Jocasta's grandmother, had been a gypsy princess settled in Belladona Cove, known as the "Maid of the Shade," but her mysterious life had been very short; that's why Rodrigo had grown up with his buccaneer father. However, the Belladonna coven now claimed the guardianship of their last descendant. Jocasta was then raised by her great-aunt Marasenna, the queen of non-sleepers; her great-aunt Medusha; and her great-grandmother Belladonna, the witch for which Belladonna Cove was later named. This is the lineage of occultists from which Bella is descended.

Belladonna Coven grew non-stop in those years, and magic seemed doomed, but the witches maintained their traditions and pilgrimages, roaming all over Sim City with their camps and their Magic Town. However, Belladonna Coven was where Jocasta met Simis Bachelor, a young man none of her witch relatives approved of. Still, Jocasta, like her father, left everything to marry Simis and, just as Morgana Goth―another witch―had done long ago, she went on to keep her powers a secret. Outwardly, hers would be a perfectly ordinary suburban family, but behind the secret doors hidden in the bookshelves, Jocasta would still be a good witch protecting her family.

Simis was very suspicious of the supernatural and had always wanted to have a normal, ordinary life. He had never gotten along with her parents, Milton and Enriqueta, because they liked to organize séances and other eccentricities. But her mother, Enriqueta, was the true mystic who maintained the voodoo customs of her mother, Mama Royales, the illegitimate daughter of the rich landowner don Pedro. Her father had been Fen Bittern, a non-spellcaster researcher studying the magical arts in the late 1800s. His research had been later dismissed and mocked by people like his grandson Simis. However, in the magical community, he had gained a cult-like following, and his mother, the Lady Ophelia Shrewill of Battyshire, another eccentric supernatural fan, died happy and famous because of that. Moreover, Simis also had a sister who called herself a voodoo priestess, Miss Lucille, whom he couldn't even see. And this is the lineage of mystics from which Bella descends.

BEGINNINGS

Simis wanted to be rich and was trying to build a career as a novelist―and Jocasta loved his horror novels. Although he had strict rules that he expected his wife to abide by, Simis was kind. He also had a romantic spirit.

Michael, their firstborn son, was born in Belladona Cove―as it was named by that time―and soon after Bella was born too. Jocasta named her after her great-grandmother Belladona, who got to know her great-great-granddaughter. Some years later, Jocasta and other witches, keeping the tradition of pilgrimages, arrived at the small―recently founded―town of Sunsent Valley.

Bella was already a child―the best-dressed girl in town―and always looked adorable flitting around and talking to other kids, adults, and anyone who would listen. Bella didn't know she was a witch and didn't practice, but she had some strange innate power that others were drawn to. Every year, when the Magic Town came to Sunset Valley, her mother Jocasta would take her to Clowntastic Land, where Bella learned to play miniature golf. Together, mother and daughter would also look after their garden. They shared an unbreakable magic bond, but Jocasta never told Bella about her roots.

When Bella was in her late teens, many families from Sunset Valley decided to follow Gunther Goth after the town was ruined by the Altos and the Landgraabs. Seeking a better life for his wife and son, Gunther formed the Old Town in the marshes near Belladona Cove. There, Bella and Mortimer Goth started dating.

OLD TOWN

Soon after Bella's engagement to Morty Goth, Simis and Jocasta passed away. Some years later, when Cassandra was already a girl, the Magic Town came to the city, and Bella received the visit of her great-grandaunts Medusha and Marasenna. After learning a bit about her heritage, Bella kept visiting the Magic Town, playing miniature golf, tending her garden, and teaching her daughter Cassandra about her way of living. However, she started to grow apart from Mortimer… Cassandra herself seemed to be more akin to him―and his science stuff―than to Bella's world. Thus, Bella ended up alone and distanced from her husband and daughter.

The woman was solely devoted to her plants and herbs, some of them healing, others deadly. The family cemetery garden brought her to life, especially the red flowers that grew around Cassandra's twin sister's grave, the bratty girl who had died a few years ago.

PLEASANTVIEW

Years passed... Bella felt lonely and trapped in her role as the ideal and perfect woman. The celebrity. She ended up forming a friendship with Skip Broke, the test subject her brother Michael used. Both were married, but the attraction was stronger, and they ended up having an affair. The gap between Mortimer and Bella became insurmountable then, although they would never divorce.

For a while, the couple, even though they lived together, led separate lives. Cassandra, innocent and naive as hell, never realized the enmity between her parents. She was only focused on her studies, her scientific aspirations, and reading the occasional romantic novel. It was for her that Mortimer and Bella decided to call a truce and try to reconcile, which is why Alexander was such a late child. And to show her good faith, Bella ended her relationship with Skip, who had his own problems with Brandy.

Alexander was Bella's apple of the eye, and she devoted herself to the care of her son. In him, she felt the legacy of the mystics and occultists, the spirit of the witch Belladonna, and it was undeniable that a supernatural bond strongly connected mother and son.

It was then that Michael died, and Dina, his widow, moved to Pleasantview with her sister, Nina. Bella didn't have much interaction with her brother, and she couldn't stand her sister-in-law, but Mortimer seemed very comfortable in the company of young Dina Caliente. These days, Don Lothario also moved to the neighborhood, whom Bella, as the first lady of the place, went to greet and meet. Don already knew Bella from the magazines and was more than fascinated with her, so when the opportunity presented itself, he tried to win her over, but Bella rejected him. She was taking the second chance Mortimer had given her very seriously, and although she wasn't sure, she suspected she was pregnant again.

Don Lothario was the last person to see her, but he was not the one responsible for her disappearance.

Bella Goth. The perfect woman. The ideal woman. The woman in red. The woman who had contributed to her husband finding the formula for the Elixir of Life. The woman destined to be the supreme Birth Queen of the aliens.

That was the Bella Goth who disappeared. How? It is not known. Why? Because Mortimer sold her―in exchange for a large sum of money―to fulfill a destiny that had haunted him since adolescence.

When Morty was still very young, but Michael was already an incredible inventor, they both traveled to the future―almost 75 years into the future from the time of The Sims 3―with their first invention, the PlasmaPunch Gyroscopic Conductor. This invention could create a wormhole that led to another planet in the future―that is, the future of that planet. There, they discovered that Bella Goth would become the Birth Mother of all aliens. After weeks trapped in ruined cities, in a crystal and gem paradise where they saw a fleeting reflection of Bella Goth as the dimensional gate faded away. That last glimpse that they saw would always remind them that Bella is still out there... somewhere.

Michael and Mortimer decided that they would never speak of what they had seen, but young Morty was already determined, perhaps out of curiosity, to fulfill that horrific future of which he had been a witness. Did he love Bella? Yes. Did he take advantage of the situation for his own benefit? Indeed. He had gotten rid of his wife, obtained a fortune―and valuable knowledge―and had a clear path with Dina Caliente.

THE BUG

But the aliens didn't account for the fact that Bella was pregnant. Aliens were on the brink of a world-ending catastrophe that left all their females sterile―Birth Mothers were carefully molded and selected. To ensure the survival of their species, they sought refuge on Earth and discovered a remarkable compatibility between human males and the internal organs of alien females. This unique compatibility led them to only impregnate human males as a means to avoid the extinction of their kind.

Bella's pregnancy disrupted the experiments, causing the UFO to crash in Strangetown, in a corner of the desert which later became Division 47. The aliens had to devise a way to clone Bella in record time―that's why she is an incomplete and inaccurate clone―and leave her in the desert. When reinforcements, XY-XY and XHT-F―who would later return to Strangetown to settle and monitor Bella's clone, arrived with their own UFO, Bella finally reached outer space.

On the mysterious crystal planet of the aliens, Mathilda Goth would be born, the third―or fourth―daughter of Bella and Mortimer Goth. However, mother and daughter were separated after the girl was sent to Lunar Lakes, so Bella had to use her role as the supreme Birth Mother to escape from the aliens and find Mathilda.

Did this forced goddess manage to escape? Who knows...?

But her aged body was eventually buried in Lunar Lakes 25 years later.

MEANWHILE…

Mortimer married Dina and had a daughter with her, Gloria Goth. Alexander became estranged from his father because the boy did not give up on his quest to uncover the truth about his mother's disappearance. However, in a twist of fate, he ended up finding genuine support in his stepmother, Dina.

Yes, Alexander would go on to build a time machine with his sister using designs from his father and uncle Michael. And yes, that same machine would send Don Lothario and Alexander more than 50 years back in time.

But that's another story...

This translation comes from a small witch-and-occult centered section in a French magazine entirely dedicated to the Middle-Ages (Histoire et Images Médiévales, Medieval History and Images). It was the issue 51, August-September 2013). Written by Claire Goumot.

The Belladona

The Belladona, or Atropa belladonna, is a black-berried plant well known in the Middle Ages. It was nicknamed the Devil's Cherry or "Belle Dame", the Beautiful Lady, because of its incredible properties. Its botanical name, "Atropa", is from the same root as the name of the last of the three Parcae/Moirai - Atropos she who cuts the thread of mortal life. This was because eating belladona caused hallucinations, and could be deadly. This is why it was considered a a "plant of witches", and witches used it as an oinment to either poison people or fly all the way to their sabbath. But its common name comes from the cosmetic use Italian women had for this plant during the Renaissance (the "bella domna", beautiful ladies) - a few drops of belladona juice in their eyes dilated their pupils, which made their gaze more shiny and intense. As with all plants, when well-dosed, it as benevolent properties: it is appeased, can be an anesthetic, prevents spasms. It is still used by modern medecine to treat skin and eyes.

Salt

Since Antiquity, salt is a divine and magical element in many societies. It is believed that it can protect people from bad luck, evil spells, and that it can unveil the truth. Men of the Middle-Ages spread salt inside their house, and placed some on their doorsteps or in their pockets. Salt was a mark of wealth, because it was a rare and costly product in the Middle-Ages, that had its own tax. People who accidentally spilled their salt-pot took the habt of throwing a pinch of salt over their shoulder, as a way to mock Fortune and to show that they still had plenty more salt to throw around... With time, as witch trials were on the rise, salt became a protection against the Fiend. The one who spilled the salt-shaker could be accused of being a sorcerer, because it meant he couldn't actually grasp the holy salt. He then was forced to grab a pinch of it and throw it over his shoulder to prove that he did not fear the salt. A variation of this rite had the person throwing salt over their shoulder to blind the demon haunting them, and thus prevent any kind of misfortune or curse it could have caused. Today, to spill the salt-shaker is still believed to be a bad omen, and this is why people try to avoid passing it from hand to hand. By putting it on the table and letting the over person take it, you limited the risks of the salt spilling AND placed the next person to the test. It should also be remembered that ever since Antiquity, poisoners had the habit of putting their poison inside the salt - as such, not giving the salt container from hand to hand made you less of a suspect, and made the victim more "responsible" for their death, since they took the salt off the table on their own.

The book against witches: the Malleus Maleficarum

The Malleus Maleficarum, also known as the Witches Hammer, is a book of the 15th century written by two German Dominicans: Heinrich Kramer "Institoris" and Jacques Sprender. This manual for inquisitors and jurists detailed the process to identify, interrogate and punish witches. The first part of the book defines the "seal of the devil", aka the marks to recognize a witch (birthmarks, warts, beauty marks, parts of the body that do not feel anything, extreme skinniness, unbridled sexuality, presence of a familiar). Some details are quite... something, since the book details the most extavagant powers of the witches : they could use charms and tie knots to make men infertile, or they could steal men's penises to hide it in birds nests. The two other parts of the book are less amusing, since they are "practical" parts detailling several cases of witch trials, witch interrogations and witch executions. All those were done by the use of trials and tortures that harmed the flesh, "by fire or by water", "under the eye of God", to determine the guilt or innocence of the accused. One of the most famous accusations of witchcraft of history stays the one of Joan of Arc, who ultimately was proven innocent of witchcraft... But still condemned as a heretic and burned at the stake for this. The witch hunt will only end in Europe in the 18th century - with a total number of victims estimated between 50 000 and 100 000.

The witch's broom

The broom is the most iconic emblem of the witch, and this since the Middle-Ages. Why attach such a usual and banal item to the figure of the witch? First, because women were deeply associated with the broom - just like the cauldron or the spindle, this was one of the tools of the woman's domestic work, and the cauldron and the spindle in fact would also go on to become magical items in folklore and fairytales. In the Middle-Ages, feminity and domestic work only make one. Then, we also have to recall that brooms were made of Genisteae, aka "brooms" (broom shrubs, broom trees), a plant usually used in magical potions or medicinal brew to fight venom or lower tension. It was this same Genisteae that the witches used in the skin-ointment that allowed them to fly and to go to the sabbath (though sometimes the ointment serves to cover the broom rather than the witch's body).

The broom-shrub has a strong symbolical meaning : according to the Bible, the broom plant's rigidity is a cuse because the shrub refused to open its branches before the Holy Family as they fled king Herodus. Witches thus use a plant cursed by God to get closer to the Devil. Outside of the witches domain, the broom-plant had better connotations: it was the emblem of Charles VI, and the one of Goffrey Plantagenet, who always wore some of it on him, hence his name (the "broom plant" is known in French as "genêt").

Romeo Monty was playing the guitar very passionately when Juliette Capp and Tank Grunt (interesting pairing and totally chosen by themselves) entered the room determined to woohoo on the couch.

It's ok tho, during their teen years Juliette and Romeo seemed end game, but after he refused Juliette's proposal to go steady twice, she moved on. It was only there she met different men, and even Mercutio Monty put some moves on her, which she didn't very much enjoy and rejected (enough Montys for her I guess). Romeo got to the Uni only after Juliette was already a senior and had been dating Tank for a while. She also changed her Aspiration by the end of graduation to Popularity, since she had so many best friends and wants to have friends and parties and none for family stuff. She and Romeo are BFFs and don't seem to mind the each other's love life (even though Romeo jokes around Tank to make him uncomfortable with the situation... just for funzies).

Romeo: So... Did you know we used to date? In fact, our love was so powerful it revived a past family feud in the whole town. It was wild! You gotta impress me if you think you can handle my best friend ex-girlfriend, Tank! Haha! Just kidding, man... 😅

Tank: Erm... Yeah! Sure, so..-so you guys were together in Highschool? 😳 Fo-for how long? *this guy looks like the whole deal, all the ladies keep swooning over him, no way jules will want to be with me now that he got here!*

Background: The original founders of this family were a modest family of farmers with 7 children. They were lovely people, and in spite of their humble life, they loved their children very much and were very serious about their education.

The youngest daughter was the prettiest and most gracious of all the three sisters. She married an apprentice of alchemist, called Efrain.

After the wedding, they moved out to a cabain in the forest, and they starter their life together. They had one only son called Zachary.

Zachary had his own family and this is when I jumped a whole generation. Then my actual sim was born.

He's named after his great grand father Efrain and he loves foxes as much as he did. Apart from Nightingale, he has a gray fox called Elmer.

Efrain is a free spirit who loves knowledge and loves to travel. In one of his travels he met Dreide.

Dreide was originally born into an aristocrat arranged marriage between two powerful families of wizards. Her maiden name is Dreide Lockhart, from the Lockhart family.

His mother was a very graceful, and melancholic lady with a very kind heart. She was very un happily married to her husband, who was a proud and cruel man. They had two daughters, Astoria Lockhart and Dreide Lockhart. Her mother was secretly in love with one of the housekeepers since he was a very gentle man with a passion for nature, a very nurturing character and he was very protective of her. One day , they decided to scape together into the woods, far away from the Lockhart mansion. They took her daughters with them.

Unfortunately, Astoria, who was a child unlike her baby sister, have had inherit his father's traits. She was extremely proud and mean , and she was fond of his father.

Despite the lovable tries of her mother to raise them in love and harmony with nature and each other, one terrible night, Astoria decides to run away back home.

Nobody ever saw her again, but years later rumours said she went back safely to her town and was living with his father.

Her mom had to constantly move through the forest to make sure they wouldn't be found. So Dreide, barely a toddler then, grew up completely fascinated with nature and living face to face with every aspect of the wood. She was (is) a kind hearted wizard like her mom with a great enthusiasm for the natural world.

She's currently married with Efrain and living in a cottage in the woods with her two children. Belladona, her child, and young baby Percival.
