Keith “He’ll tell me his name when he’s ready” Kogane vs Lance “You can’t keep calling him ‘Wolf’ otherwise that will be his name” McClain FIGHT

(Lance has a realization while lying in bed that Keith’s dad, Kai, Keith’s mom, Krolia, and Keith, Keith, all have names that start with k. He decides that the space wolf, the wolf from space, the wolf that fell from the cosmos, should follow the same family tradition they have going on. He settles on the name Kosmo. Keith thinks its dumb. Lance doesn’t care. Kosmo is already responding to the name. The rest of the team call the space wolf Kosmo. Keith is seething.)

(When they get to earth, Lance snatches Keith’s garrison paperwork and jots down the name ‘Kosmo’ for the wolf so in the eyes of the government, the wolf’s name is Kosmo. Keith threatens to feed Lance to Wolf. Both Lance and Keith know that Kosmo adores Lance. Keith is also annoyed by this.)

(After they get together and move down to Texas, they have to take Kosmo to the vet and Lance insists on doing it. Keith doesn’t understand why until he sees the paperwork on the counter later that day that shows the wolf’s name as Kosmo. Keith is grumpy. Lance uses his new tactic and kisses the scowl off Keith’s face. Keith is less annoyed.)

I’ve had a hard day so here’s a random wolf anecdote:

Wolves don’t actually howl at the moon, they use their howls to communicate.

I swore Kosmo howled at the moon once thoughhhh, guess it wasn’t that.

Why did this take me so long to decide to finish? I STARTED IT IN JUNE OF 2023! But, I finally finished it. Technopathic Katie in an old Arusian ship (Crossed Signals) and going in when she sees things. What's she seeing? The past. Like she did in that one episode on Olkarion in season 8. Gods, i wish we had more of that. And. Pidge and Hunk don't know what the hell is going on with her, why she's in the ship, or why her eyes are glowing this time while she's spaced out. Don't worry, guys, I think she'll tell you after this one.

Keith coming back after 2 years on the space whale

thinking about Keith having Kosmo during his desert hermit years again and just picturing Adam stopping by for a visit. He regularly checks on Keith bc he's half convinced he'll get eaten by scorpions in his sleep or something (to which Keith just rolls his eyes and derisively calls him a 'city boy').

only this time when he visits him, Keith has the weirdest puppy he's ever seen. It's blue and it has glowing eyes and stripes. Keith just nonchalantly tells him that he found him out in the desert and decided to keep him. Adam has so many questions about that. You know that's not a dog, right?

Keith just shrugs. It's definitely a canine. It's fine if he calls it a dog.

And Adam just. pinches the bridge of his nose. Because he knows that tone Keith is using. It means that he can't talk him out of this. He's keeping the weird not-dog.

(He later learns it can teleport, when Keith and his not-dog teleport directly into his quarters. Hey Adam. You got anything to eat?)
