Demonic Angelicy Ch1 Prologue

An Unholy union of purity and sin that will forever be bound to one another.

(Or the story of how they met. Probably isn't gonna be very long but here it is. Warnings for discrimination, almost selling of a person, and regular bad things you'd see in kny.

Got inspired to write it after reading @hantengudelulu 's Deluge story. It's not going to be very long but it's here anyways.

WARNINGS: Discrimination, almost selling of a human, child abuse and neglect, death mentioned, mentions of cheating , etc.)

Perhaps fate always dealt a cruel hand to one whom didn't need such a difficult life to begin with.

"Bad omen!"

"Ghost girl!"

"Undead walking!"

No one gazed upon her with anything but fear and hatred and suspicion. The dark gazed mocking her very existence until all she has to ask is why.

Why is she here if all her life is to just bring her sorrow? To hear the whispers of what they speak.

"Did you hear? Mrs. Okami's son fell ill with measles after he was caught throwing rocks at her! She's cursed him I tell you."

"She's cursed! Spreading back luck wherever she goes."

"Don't look her in the eyes! You might catch something if you stared into her soul!"

Blame. Shame. Point fingers. All her fault. All her doing. She was to blame to everything bad upon the town that was cursed with her existence and let her know it. No helping hand reached out to help her. No gently touch to guide her to a comforting corner. No family to shield her either from the brewing storm. 

Blame. Shame. Disgraceful sinful child she was!

"Tell me who you laid with when my back was turned you damned weasel!"

"No one! I've been faithful to you since the day I married you!"

"There's no way it's any child of mine!"

"Of course she is!"

"I DID NOT FATHER A WALKING CORPSE!! YOU LIE!!"

Another fight to end the day. Another vase shattered against the wall over her head. The small form huddled in the corner with arms thrown over her head. 

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!! I WISH I NEVER GAVE BIRTH TO YOU!! MY HUSBAND USED TO LOVE ME BEFORE WE WERE CURSED WITH YOU!!"

Another hungry night nursing the wounds that bled. Tears never were helped. No hope in sight anywhere to be had. Her curse bearing the weight of the blame. Until dryness came. Food was scarce. Water was dryer than stone. And she knew then it was only a matter of time before the weight of blame was pointed at her too. 

"This is the worst drought in years! If it keeps going this rate all our crops will be killed and we'll starve!"

"What do we do then?"

"...We must cut the problem off at the source."

"You mean drag up water from the river?"

"No. We've been cursed from the beginning since that thing was born, but no one said we had to endure this for the rest of our lives."

"Then are you suggesting we kill her? Extreme..but-"

"No. Better. The Red Light District is always looking for unique beauty. We can sell it there and receive some money for our troubles at least."

"What if her curse follows her there?"

"Who cares!? It'll be their problem then! First thing tomorrow, we'll set out to the nearest buyer. If they don't buy her to work then they'll get a good side attraction."

A cursed object to sell away and never be seen again That was the worth she was given to the world and now she must bare the burden of the crime of living. There was nothing she could do about it but to run. To flee from her window following the beautiful moonlight and run through the soft fields of grasses and flowers at her bare feet and tiny lungs heaving in time with her steps as she quickly ran away from the world. If her fate is to be cursed then she will be cursed as she makes her own life.

Amari actually prefers bland foods because her taste buds can't really handle the other intense flavor profiles

2. Secret People Close to Her Would Know:

She has a special journal that she sometimes carries with her. Only her closest friends and most trusted loved ones know certain contents.

3. Secret She Wouldn't Mind if It Got Out:

She's sort of a jack of all trades, master of none when it comes to creative trades. Poetry, sketching, embroidery, painting, (she refuses to go near any type of sculpting or pottery after Muichiros battle with Gyokko). She's not a genius at them, but she still partakes in them because she enjoys the creative spirit.

4. Secret One Person Knows:

Muichiro accidentally walks in on her true humanity. How she's breaking down, sobbing and holding her chest but the moment she sees him, stops in an instant. Cleans up the tears on her face and brings her features back to a neutral expression, her breathing low and slow, minus a slight hitch here and there.

5. Secret No One Knows But She Wants to Tell:

She plays the nohkan and she only plays while she's alone because she doesn't think she's very good. However it's very relaxing for her and her crow.

6. Secret No One Knows And She Doesn't Want to Tell:

She had to defeat Hayate multiple times in hand to hand combat in order to be able to go to final selection. She still feels guilty and apologizes in their letters.

Wait, who am I? Oh I'm a demon slayer 😁 I started a little over a year ago. After finding out the corps existed and all, I just decided to join because...well, why not? Besides, there's more good I can do for the world than my same old life, day in and day out 😊

Oh, what do I look like? Easy!

Heh, pretty cool right? An awesome friend, @larz-barz drew this portrait of me and not to brag but I look pretty good 😉

What else 🤔... I mean, I've got a nice family but I try not to talk about them much cuz of the, well, demons duh. I really love traveling and seeing everything, meeting everyone, but I kinda wish they could come with me sometimes; I definitely try my best to stop in as much as I can to see them :)

Food? Hmm..I like a bit of everything to be honest. Can't stand cooking but if I had to pick a favorite, it's GOT to be my mom's pork cutlets. As for everything else, if it's on my plate I'll eat it basically (but seriously please don't make me cook).

My friends and I sometimes clash cuz they're always riding me to train harder *cough* Amari *cough* but I wanna explore the arts more; painting, writing, dancing, that kind of stuff. Maybe when the demons are gone, you'll see me in the papers someday😉

Breathing Technique: Water Breathing (beginning) -> Storm Breathing

First Form: Cyclone- A quick twist of the torso that summons a powerful wind storm and has the power to blast multiple weak demons to pieces. Can be mastered and strengthened to take on a lower level Upper Rank singlehandedly coupled with extreme stamina and battle strategy.

Second Form: Ferocious Winter- Swinging swords across/in front of the user in an ‘X’ form. This summons icy winds and blizzard like conditions to provide cover and hide from the enemy, either for an opportunity to attack or escape.

Third Form: Divine Light- A violent cascade of lightning strikes to attack a group of low level demons. The lightning can also be absorbed and manipulated through the users weapon, which allows the strike of the beheading to be amplified in power; this can be used to fight upper level demons.

Fourth Form: Earthquake- A head on attack that requires the most force behind it. Every step taken towards the demon opens fissures into the earth that any enemy can and will fall into. Straightforward strike but the user can twist their body to dodge enemy attacks.

Fifth Form: Total Devastation- A quick series of lightning flashes followed by a dry forest fire to help trap demons and enemies. Can not be used during any precipitous weather and has limited range.

Sixth Form: Thunderous Eruption- Used in hand with Earthquake, this form produces magma and lava from the open fissures in the ground, creates a much higher risk scenario to defeat demons but much more effective against upper levels.

Seventh Form: Tidal Waves- A flood of wisteria infused water in the form of a tsunami that allows the user to drown or flood out multiple enemies, or condense it to overpower an upper level demon. This weakens the demons for actual combat.

Christmas sketches I was able to crank out before my next show, felt like drawing women this season, so I drew just some of my favs! I may do more as random surprises like these were, but in the meantime credit where it is due! It started with me drawing Hatomi after so long, then Chizue for my best friend @bloodhuntermoon …..and then the other three followed! Nao was a a fierce beauty to draw as a surprise for @sunbrokenswords , I enjoyed sketching her with those lightning eyes!

Sumine from @hawnkoii was the next choice, been meaning to draw this pretty girl with a wonderful smile for a while, glad to have time to do so! And then last was Angel, @echantedtoon ‘s beautiful oc, I saw her a while back and I just knew I needed to draw her at least once!

Like I said, this won’t be the last of my gift sketches, I felt like drawing demon slayer OCs before the fanart craze I must prepare for my shows and who knows….I do plan to do more but I’ll keep y’all guessing on my next victims😂🤣. Hope ya like and stay tuned!
