When Men Stand on Business: Why Certain Segments Turn Feral and Misandrist
Standards, Respect, and the Double Standard Circus
Let’s get one thing straight: having standards as a heterosexual man is not an act of aggression. It’s a basic human right. Yet, the moment men start drawing boundaries or—heaven forbid—voicing their standards, certain segments of society (you know who you are 👀) start frothing at the mouth like a 2003 internet forum caught in a flame war. Why? Because some people have been conditioned to see men as providers, protectors, and silent sacrificers—but not decision-makers.
Well, newsflash: men are allowed to have standards too.
Standards Are Not Misogyny
Let’s address the big elephant in the room: having standards ≠ hating women. If a man decides he wants:
A partner who values loyalty,
Someone who prioritizes emotional maturity over Instagram likes,
Or just someone who doesn’t treat their relationship like a TikTok content generator,
...why does that spark an apocalypse of rage and accusations of being controlling, toxic, or—everyone’s favorite buzzword—misogynistic?
Ask yourself this: if it’s empowering for women to demand “a man who makes six figures, is 6’4”, emotionally intelligent, great in bed, and can recite poetry while doing a backflip,” why does it suddenly become "oppression" when a man wants a partner who doesn’t treat commitment like an afterthought?
The Misandry Playbook
Here’s where it gets spicy: when men dare to stand on business, certain segments of the crowd will hit you with:
Gaslighting 101: “Wow, you’re so insecure if you care about stuff like that.”
Shame Grenades: “Only a weak man feels the need to have standards. A real man accepts anything.”
Projection Olympics: “You just want a submissive maid, don’t you?”
**Name-Calling: "When logic is refuted or falls on intellectually deaf ears, insults become the tool of the emotional, hysterical, and emotionally unstable."
The irony? These are often the same people who post things like, “Know your worth, sis,” on social media while belittling anyone else for doing the same.
Why It's Time to Dish It Back
Here’s the truth: you can’t play defense forever. If certain people feel emboldened to call men trash for expressing their preferences, then it’s time for men to:
Be unapologetic. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for your boundaries.
Dish it back—tastefully but firmly. Call out the hypocrisy. Example: “So if you wouldn’t date someone broke, why is it wrong for me to avoid drama queens, 304's, and independent feminists?”
Stop pandering. Being agreeable at all costs isn’t “nice,” it’s self-destructive, and diminishes a man's status among other men.
Respect should go both ways, and if someone’s going feral over the idea of mutual standards, that’s their problem, not yours.
Let’s Not Pretend This is Fair
The moment you flip the script, watch how the conversation devolves:
"Who hurt you?"
"Not all women are like that!"
"You just hate women because you can’t get one!"
Oh, the classic ad hominem Olympics. These are tactics used to derail a conversation instead of addressing the real issue: standards are universal.
Final Truth Bomb
The simple truth is, a man who knows what he wants and sets boundaries isn’t toxic—he’s dangerous. Dangerous to the status quo, dangerous to complacency, and dangerous to the idea that men should just shut up and take whatever comes their way. So to those turning feral at the mere thought of men holding themselves to a standard, here’s a revolutionary concept: respect goes both ways.
Like, share, or watch me get cancelled for saying this: Certain people (you know who you are) will weaponize this truth bomb faster than you can say 'misandry.' They'll screenshot, twist, and predictably call me toxic—proving my point in real-time. Don't let 'em win.

Embracing My Worth: I Was Always More Than Enough
I’ve cried rivers over you. I’ve felt your absence in every part of me, as if a piece of my soul was missing. I missed you with everything I had—my heart, my mind, my body. There were moments when the pain consumed me, and I even hated you for it. I hated how you left, how you made me feel like I wasn’t enough. And for a long time, I wondered if it was all my fault. I questioned everything about myself, every action, every word.
But not anymore.
There came a moment when I finally understood something so powerful that it set me free: it wasn’t that I wasn’t good enough for you—it was that I was too much. I loved with a depth you couldn’t meet. I cared in ways that you couldn’t understand. I brought passion, honesty, and strength to the table, and it wasn’t that those things weren’t valuable. They were simply too big for the space you had in your life.
I used to think that I needed to change, to be smaller, quieter, easier for you. But I’ve learned that the problem was never me trying to be enough—it was you not being able to receive all that I am. I am more than enough, and I deserve someone who sees that, who can meet me at my level and celebrate my fullness.
I am enough. I’ve always been enough. And now, I fully embrace that truth

The Chronicles of the Toxic Boss
Once upon a time, there was a loyal employee. Let's call them Alex. Alex had been under the reign of a toxic boss for years—endless micromanagement, zero appreciation, overtime that could make you question the laws of physics, and no benefits. Yet, Alex stayed. Why? Because hope springs eternal... and also because the snacks in the breakroom were good.
One day, Alex reached their breaking point. The final straw? A retention offer that was basically a "Best of Luck" card and a vague promise of "we'll look into it next quarter" (cue the dramatic eye roll). Alex decided enough was enough. They handed in their resignation and walked out the door into the warm embrace of an organization that actually cared about employees, offered benefits, and—dare I say—recognized hard work.
But wait! The story doesn't end there.
Enter the Replacement Employee. The toxic boss, seeing the gap Alex left behind, quickly hired someone new. And for the first time in ages, the boss suddenly became friendly, courteous, and even pretended to respect the new hire. "Oh, you're so great!" the boss said, giving the replacement employee a fake smile. But little did the new hire know, this respect came with a catch.
Soon, the replacement employee received an offer from a better company and decided to leave. Cue panic mode: The toxic boss's boss, desperate to avoid the embarrassment of losing yet another employee, waved the budget constraints away and threw money at the new hire. “Please stay!” they begged. And so, the replacement employee stayed... because who would turn down a bonus bigger than their own self-respect?
Meanwhile, Alex’s departure and the replacement's retention didn’t go unnoticed. Enter Employee 3, a long-suffering team member who had quietly observed the circus. Watching Alex leave, the replacement get an undeserved bonus, and the toxic boss basking in a power play of manipulation, Employee 3 finally snapped.
With no more fight left, no more patience for the abuse, and with zero expectations of a bonus or appreciation (because, let’s be real, that ship sailed ages ago), Employee 3 did the only thing that made sense: left without a word.
So, let’s get to the question: Who’s to blame here?
Is it the toxic boss who keeps playing employees like pawns in a never-ending game of "who can suffer the most"? Or are we just too afraid to confront a system that values profits over people? Why is it that the toxic boss keeps winning, while employees are the ones who bear the brunt of it all?
Here's the truth: Employees are not to be bullied, manipulated, or used for the convenience of toxic leadership. But until enough people speak up, this cycle will keep going. So let’s raise our voices, stand up for what’s right, and maybe—just maybe—find a workplace where people actually matter.

Life Lessons You've Taught Me
Stay loyal and true to your heart. If you do something wrong, you betray yourself more than you do for others, as you’ll carry the guilt in your conscience for a lifetime.
Seeking validation from others won’t help if you don’t value yourself. Women who need attention from other people often have weak souls and low self-esteem. You don’t need anyone’s attention if you truly find self-love within.
There are no guys here to help you unless they want something from you. Many intend to use you like a toy. Stop being available to people who see you as something to use.
Understand the difference between needing someone and wanting someone. Needs come from a lack, as if you need someone to complete you. Wanting someone means you desire them in your life without any expectation.
Forgive yourself, but never forget. Learn from your mistakes, correct them, and never make the same mistake again. Keep your soul pure and find peace.
Being insecure and stuck in your comfort zone doesn’t help you grow. You won’t gain anything but depression and self-hatred. Instead, try to overcome your insecurities by turning them into motivation and building yourself into a stronger person.
Don’t blame the past. Though you’ve had many empty days, blaming childhood trauma won’t help you move forward now. Use your time to heal and grow.
Seek peace and calm with God. Believe in God, pray daily, and trust that God has a plan for your life. Letting God into your heart can give you a pure conscience.
Be someone who stays close to your partner only. Cheating isn’t just physical intimacy, it includes texting others with different intentions, sharing things with other men, or thinking they’re attractive. Loyalty is keeping your head high, showing less emotions to other men, and giving your whole heart to your loved one without limitation.
Be invisible to others and available only to your loved one.
Connect with nature.
Attract positivity, and ignore negativity.
Love isn’t just a spark or attraction. Love is selfless, it’s finding one reason to stay when there are a thousand reasons to leave. Love is loyalty, respect, care, sharing, and living for each other until the end, facing challenges together as one.
Your body is like the church. You should maintain it. Take care of it and love it. Also it belongs to only one son of god.
Pray daily and go to church on Sunday

Life Lens - Entry 253
I’m no longer available for anyone who only shows up when it’s convenient for them. If someone can pick and choose when they’re around for me, then I’m not making space for that in my life. I want consistency and real connections, not people who treat me like an option. I’ve learned to value my own time and energy, and I’m done waiting around for anyone who doesn’t make me a priority. From here…

"At some point, you have to look someone in the eyes and say, I love you, and I always will, but the life you’re offering isn’t one I can live anymore. I’m not asking you to change; I’m asking you to understand that you’re free to be exactly who you are—just not alongside me. I’m choosing something different now.
I’ve reached a place where I no longer want to build memories with everyone. Some connections need to stay in the past, where they belong. I’ve come to realize I am enough for myself, and that has shifted everything. I don’t know if you’ll miss me, and maybe I’ll wonder for a while if I’ll miss you, too. But that question no longer holds power over me. I don’t want to circle back to the beginning, to recycle chaos into some idea of stability.
Choosing yourself is its own kind of intimacy. It’s a quiet, powerful act of courage—one that allows you to love others without compromising the love you have for yourself. And that’s not selfish; it’s a form of hope."

See Your Worth 🫶🏻🤎
🫶🏻🤎 Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth.
Seeing others do for me as I do for them showed me my worth. When you begin to truly feel how you impact others and what your presence is like in their life and how you can see all the little things that you do for them that make them feel safe and comfortable. Your value is undeniable. 🤎🫶🏻
