I love Umbrella Academy a lot but one thing I hated is how much distance they put between Diego and Klaus as the seasons went on. They were my favourite duo in the first season and they gradually got to a point where they didn’t even seem to like each other that much. Every season I’d hope for more scenes and then didn’t get any.

Their season 1 dynamic was great because it really did seem like despite finding him annoying and not liking his drug addiction that Diego really cared about Klaus and was protective of him. It also seemed like he was the only one in the family that actually seemed to check in on him throughout the years but in later seasons that was sort of forgotten.

I love the other duos the two of them have but their relationship was really special to me so I need to find some fics about them.

I mean this in the kindest way I can say it; if Klaus dies for real and they try to pull the "It's ok, he's with Dave now." I'm gonna be so pissed.

I've seen it suggested and like...look Klave is cute af, but ffs let Klaus live and move forward and find someone new. Dave was and will always be the first person who showed Klaus that he is worthy of being loved, but he shouldn't be the last.

Klaus deserves to live a life and have a future filled with possibility.

If they're determined to stick with Klave, the only way I'll accept it is if Dave is somehow resurrected. I'm cool with that. I'm not cool with Klaus 'dying for real' and it being justified because of a ship.

WIP WEDNESDAY

This scene from Truth Never Dies was the 2nd scene I planned. The only one that I wrote before this is the one that my entire story hinges on - the one where the truth is revealed... But for now, a conversation with our favorite villain -

"Your Caroline"

The way she whispered her name — Klaus wanted to rip his mother to shreds. It was only the knowledge that she carried that stayed his hands.

For now.

He had the perfect punishment planned for her. Oh! Yes. Let's see how his mother would like to become the creature she hated the most.

I remember this post that was like Leo and Nico's dynamic is just Klaus and Five from the umbrella academy. And since i love both; Valdangelo on a quest:

Nico: *excitedly showing Leo a map with all of the roadside attractions that he wants to see circled in red ink like the inner old man that he is*

Leo, while Nico is droning on about his attractions: I'm not sure we're gonna have time for all that.

Leo, after telling Nico the real reason behind the quest: Well, I knew you wouldn't have come if I told you, so, what was I supposed to do?

Nico: you're Gods damn right I wouldn't have come, Leo!

Nico: it's supposed to be a carefree road trip!

Leo: Well, it still can be, babe!

Leo: y'know, I'm glad you came along...you're a great friend.

Nico:

Leo: alright alright you say nice things about me now

Nico:

Nico: *pats his shoulder and walks away* Let's go find your stupid dragon
