Captain boomerang could be so much more than a side villain. He has so much potential but sadly DC does not give him enough credit.

As far as obscure characters there's so many to name.

god idk if you've read twojar yet but your post encapsulates everything I hated about its characterisation of Eddie despite not even being directly about that comic. King's choice to have Kiteman lament how he is an embarassing forgettable gimmicky loser in a bright green spandex outfit specifically "unlike guys like the Riddler" is so? awful? like you said Riddler is a Kiteman type "weird goofy C lister who's a loser that sucks" kind of character taking that away from him and directly positioning him as the opposite of that like King does just makes him..not him. he's just a weird guy!

the thing about Tom King that's so cool is that he has written not one, not two, but THREE of the most all time shit awful Riddlers and I think he should be put in a cannon
