Other Starfolk Colors

A while back I had an idea or two about different colors of starfolk besides blue and orange, partly based on weird lighting in the opening cutscene, and partly the new creation at the end.

Since the two main colors have elements associated with them, I also ran with that.

Blue uses lightning and ice, orange is wind and fire, along with whatever Aven's seals are, though I think that might be a transcendent thing.... We haven't seen anything from water (directly), the earth, plant-life, or solar energy and adjacent (at least, not specifically). I'm sure there are others, I'm drawing a blank... If we steer away from elemental(ish) magic, maybe sonic and ESP/Psionic magic?

The original colors that came to mind were purple and yellow.

Blue is already taken, but we don't have red or yellow, and we've already got green and orange, but no purple. If we're being technically accurate, we've got blue (or maybe cyan??), orange, and green, but we're missing red, yellow, indigo/purple, magenta, and blue/cyan (whichever isn't already present). Cyan would be more accurate in some ways.

So here's some of my ideas:

Purple stars: Circular shape language, dark polarity, sit anywhere between indigo and magenta. Their primary element is water (hi hello our light polarity should start running). Their secondary is sound. So sonic booms, glass-shattering pitches, earthshattering subwoofers, binaural frequencies, all that jazz.

Yellow stars: Diamond/square shape language, light polarity, usually appear a pure yellow but can lean slightly orange or slightly green. Their primary element is rock-based, their secondary is plant-life-based (yes, I'm counting these as separate).

Red stars: triangular shape language, either/mixed polarity, can range from deeper reds to much brighter reds, but stay mostly within one hue range. They can access all the elements of Purple and Yellow, plus additional Psionic magic.

Does this throw a massive wrench in the innate worldbuilding of Worldless? Yes. Very much. Do I still like the notion? Also yes.

....It begs the question of whether a red and green star can merge, and what the result is.... I must mull this over.

n*loth not being able to bag anyone over the (human term) age of 25-30 at most is the only logical and real conclusion to me because it can be just explained away as him wanting to prove and control everything and anyone (Cus he's a man!) but being stuck in that demographic because his unbearable and vile personality is a force that nobody can look past once they've outgrown the possible fear and idolization period of anyone but also n*loth in particular.

Also, tis the grand return to my Western AU! It has gotten a ton of traction recently and when it was initially posted, so I might as well give the people what they want.

Ok so here's the picture. When Bang first came into town, the first face he meets is Beep. Of course, being dehydrated, hungry, and in a giant mental fog, he thinks he's dead and assumes that Beep is some beautiful angel from Hevan. Beep is taken aback at first, but just decides to help him anyway.

Bang ends up staying with Beep and Bing when recovering, becoming insta-besties with Bing while slightly rizzing up Beep (for a lack of a better explanation), to which she reciprocates slightly. After he's well enough, Beep takes him into town to introduce him to her and Bing's other friends. There he meets Bo, Beep's best friend, and Boop, the bartender.

When Bang first meets Boop, he does some slight friendly flirting to him, to which Boop is incredibly flattered by. He won't admit to it tho, very much giving "it's not like I like you" energy. They often spend time together when Bang gets off sheriff duty, sharing drinks and having a gay ol' time.

Despite this, Bang does not neglect time to hang out with Beep either. He often helps out on the ranch when she's working and he's off duty. Beep actually teaches him a ton of things, such as cattle herding and maintaining farmland. Romantically working together if you will.

What Bang doesn't know is that Beep and Boop have been unofficially seeing each other for a while before this. They never really made their relationship status known, but everyone sorta knew they were a couple. However, both of them have been rizzed up by Bang, so when the two of them have an open discussion about it, they just stare at each other in disbelief, then decide to tell him together one night.

That is the night in the picture. After the confessions of course, but still that night. Bang was surprised to hear that Beep and Boop were together, but he was even more surprised that they both liked him too. They end the night admitting their crushes, and stuff and they all form a circle of love yippee the end.

I don't like picking sides for shipping lol. If I see it both ways, I'm making them poly, idc. Making peace with both sides as my sibling would say.
