I've always thought it was such a shame the events of Chain of Memories aren't touched on more. Seeing Lea having to figure out how to interact with Ienzo and Even (and possibly Isa too depending on what he specifically ordered Axel to do), Riku talking with Aeleus and Ienzo, or Sora interacting with Marluxia and Larxene in KH3 with their history being acknowledged. I feel there was a lot of missed potential there.

This might be a reach but I like to think Ienzo’s hair part as a child being perfectly straight compared to his scruffier one in adulthood makes me think it’s because Even combed it or something.

I've seen people saying that Nept is related to Aqua just because they both have blue hair and keyblades. I propose that there's someone else with conspicuously missing parents who we should be looking at instead.

There's also plenty of other overlap, like Nept rules lawyering the guard and using a still-unknown power to mess with his memory of the encounter. Being part of groups that deal closely with the rules and being close to the center of the game is a very specific trait shared by these two.

We've got scientists in Scala wearing the same white coat and purple ascot as the Apprentices of Heart. Their connection just lines up so nicely with what's been laid out

So, how did Ienzo get to Radiant Garden? I gesture toward the Lifeboat system we caught a glimpse of. It was used to send Kairi off to Destiny Islands and a bunch of Dandelions all over the place, why not a tiny Ienzo too?

(Done poorly is better than not done at all, but that's my theory)

In future KH media I need Even and Xion to have a father-daughter dynamic

Obviously they’re not going to go straight to like celebrating Father’s Day together or anything and I would in fact prefer it to be a bit of an estranged relationship because that would make more sense. So like Xion may never actually call him dad and Even may never actually call her his daughter but they can think it! The vibes are there and they are mutual!

He created her! She is his creation! She and Roxas will ask Lea and Isa what parents are when they explain she’ll go ‘oh wouldn’t that be Even for me?’ She lives in twilight town but visits radiant garden at least once a week to see her ‘dad’ and her ‘brother’ (Ienzo and Xion sibling agenda) and they’ll help her with her homework and tutor her in science and talk about their new projects and do you see the vision? There’s already some brilliant fics along these lines, so ik I'm not the only one lol

Trading abilities, huh? Well kiddo, I’m a bit biased - can’t really beat control over space, gravity, whatever you wanna call it - but.

I don’t know how familiar you are with our dear Zexion, but the kid honestly creeps me out sometimes. Not only because he hangs out with Vexen, of course, but his abilities? Pretty intense stuff.

See, the kid uses illusion magic - can make you see and feel things that aren’t actually there - including pain. Can hurt you without even touching you, now that’s creepy. Can cause quite a bit of havoc with that alone, but then you’ve got stuff like the ability to trap people or things inside that big book he’s always carrying around? Yikes.

On top of that, the kid actually has a really good spell list he knows, just needs to work on actually casting it, and his physical endurance - not that I’m wholly one to talk, hah! But those spells? Actual terrifying stuff there, honestly. So, I’d say if anyone? I’d swap abilities with him - though him learning to utilize my abilities could be just as dangerous.

Makes you wonder though...

He’s definitely not the kid we knew back in Radiant Garden these days, that’s for sure. But I sometimes wonder what happened on his end, if I’m honest. We still don’t fully understand how he came to as he did...

But I can’t think about that too long before my skin starts crawling.

(NOT SHIP) drawing based on a roleplay i did with a friend, i think it’s interesting how lea and ienzo went through similar things (being indoctrinated into a cult as children) but through very different perspectives (ienzo is kinda brainwashed and sheltered due to his upbringing with the apprentices)

the two end up clashing and upsetting each-other a lot due to their differences and how their trauma has shaped them, but underneath it all they are both just scared children. even if they never really interacted back then, they can bond over it now and heal those scared inner kids.
