Cassidy was âfashionably lateâ, as usual, but in her defense... well, she didnât really have an excuse, other than that she was in a very chipper mood and couldnât stop looking in the mirror. Her eyes scanned the coffee shop, looking for AJ, and found the little wallflower sitting by herself in the corner. âHey there, sweety,â she greeted her cheerfully, and sat down on the chair opposite of the girl. âHow are you?â

I used to think I was tough, but then I realized I wasnât. I was fragile and I wore thick f***ing armor. And I hurt people so they couldnât hurt me. And I thought that was what being tough was, but it isnât.

Whoever said they saw my d is lying. Besides, heâs not little. â Axel rolled his eyes. âIf you want proof ask Lucia.â he said as he rolled his eyes. âAnyways, Iâm talking about the troll sending people messages saying they have dirt of them? You avoiding it it making me believe more and more that it is you.â
âIt was a joke, Axel. No need to get so defensive, unless you really are packing something to be defensive about,â she quipped, a sly grin forming on her lips when he accused her of being D. Admittedly, it was fitting, but Cassidy preferred taking her enemies out using a different strategy. Regardless, playing along seemed amusing enough. âI guess Iâve underestimated you, Axel Rhodes,â she smirked, twirling a strand of her long blonde hair around her finger. âI should have known better than to try and fool a smart boy like you. Yes, you caught me, it was me all along. Iâm the big bad D.â Leaning over the table, she looked him dead in the eyes,, licked her lips and whispered huskily. âSo, what are you going to do about it, Bossman? Punish me for being a naughty girl?â

Kingsley managed to raise his hands up in time to block his face, but that didnât stop the legs from hitting his head. âAre you fucking psychotic, bitch?â He didnât think sheâd actually do it. The others in the cafe seemed equally as shocked, a few even had their cells pulled out, Snapchat open to document. âGod! Your tumble to the bottom loosened some screws. Weâre fucking lucky to be rid of you.â
âDonât be such a whiny pissbaby, Benjamin. You asked for it,â she pointed out, rolling her eyes at him. However, it didnât go unnoticed that literally everyone in the coffee shop had stopped chatting and was now staring at them. Only a year ago, the blonde would have felt so embarrassed, so it caught her by surprise that she didnât feel anything, other than slight content because she managed to take out some pent-up frustration. Maybe hanging out with the loser club was having some effect on her after all, or perhaps it was the work of the meds she had been taking. Even his next remarks about mental health didnât bother her as much as it once did. âAnd Iâm lucky that I get to sit front row and watch D ripping you posers to shreds one by one.â A sly smirk played on her red painted lips. âSpeaking of which; something tells me itâs your turn very soon. I canât wait.â

âDear, dear, youâve really lost your spark since your downfall.â Darcy shrugged, âI mean, same.I hate most people but even I arenât as bitter as you.â
âGood thing for you itâs not a competition then, because I would beat you without even having to try,â Cassidy retorted dryly, taking a sip from her skinny latte. âWhether or not I still have my spark has been irrelevant for almost a year now. Iâm past the point of caring about it.âÂ

She shook her head, âWell, I know he didnât do it to hurt me. I trust him, and I know he wouldnât want to upset me.â Sephy shrugged, âHe wasnât the only one. Seems she has a thing for young guys.â
âRight, and thatâs all that matters to you, isnât it? Ignorance is bliss, after all,â Cassidy scoffed, rolling her eyes. âAnd the fact that he wasnât the only guy she was screwing is relevant... why, exactly?âÂ

tuckerxweare:
âAlright,â Tucker stepped back, arms raised in surrender. âI just thought Iâd take a look. Iâve done a few repairs on my truck but if youâve got someone coming-â He shrugged, taking a few steps back. Only outside a few minutes but he could feel the cold piercing through his jacket, the snow not helping in the slightest. He cast a glance up the road, and then back down, finding both empty. âDo you at least want to wait inside until they come?â Tucker looked from his car then to Cassidy as he spoke. âIt might be awhile with the snow.â
âThatâs nice that you have a hobby, but I donât want to risk you making it worse,â she explained, wrapping her arms around herself to protect her from the icy wind. Admittedly, she had underestimated the temperature outside while getting dressed today, but at least her outfit was banging, and that was all that mattered to her. âWait inside? As in, inside your house?â she asked, quirking an eyebrow. Tucker did have a point, as she had been waiting for what seemed like forever already. âAlright, I guess, but werenât you going somewhere?â

âItâs not even like that, Cassidy. Itâs more of about someone⌠something⌠who has shit⌠Like⌠Have you heard of D? â Axel asked softly as he looked up from his cup.
âFirst of all, could you at least try to speak without stammering like a socially inept nerd? Because I cringed and threw up in my mouth at least three times before you even managed to ask me your question,â Cassidy sneered, folding her arms on the table. It was impossible not to roll her eyes at what he asked her. Only someone living under a rock would be unfamiliar with the anonymous troll with a vendetta. âD?â the blonde knitted her brows together, feigning confusion. âWhoâs D? Wait, are you talking about your D, little Axel? Oh well, aside from the fact that youâre not packing a lot of inches, I havenât heard anything. Girls tend to keep disappointing experiences to themselves. Sorry, sweety.âÂ

âMy eyes always look like this because I have a laundry list of shit to deal with,â he defended, clenching his fists. He should have known leaving the house was a bad idea, but he had grown tired of his parents and their lectures and looks. âWhen have I ever screwed anyone over? Iâm a decent person, Iâm the victim.â The words werenât very convincing â he knew Cassidy had the uncanny talent to flip anything he said no matter what.Â
âShit I donât doubt you caused yourself, as per usual,â Cassidy retorted, taking a sip from her skinny latte. Only a year ago, his bad boy attitude and his shady shenanigans had made her weak in the knees, but she had moved past that.. mostly. Deep down inside, Cassidy still had a soft spot for Cooper Walsh, but the blonde would prefer swallowing poison over ever admitting that. As he continued denying that he was up to something, the girl scrunched up her face. âOh, poor baby, I didnât realize you needed to have your diaper changed,â she said sarcastically, shaking her head in disbelief. âSeriously, who are you trying to fool, Cooper? Because from what Iâve heard through the grapevine, not even your new friends are sensitive to your sob stories, nor do they care to protect you from Big Bad D. And you know how this goes, right? You know what happens once you become... a liability.âÂ

Anaâs coffee was halfway to her lips when Cassidy all but berated her for trying to sit with her. Raising an eyebrow, Ana sat anyway and took a long drink from her coffee. âEither you need another shot of espresso in that coffee or there is something about my overall appearance that is particularly offensive today. Care to share whatâs wrong?â
âFor starters, no one in their right mind would pair those shoes with that top, but then again, no one in their right mind would wear those shoes, period... But no, the fact that you look like you got dressed in the dark isnât the reason why Iâm in the mood to kill,â Cassidy admitted, though she was hesitant about sharing what the reason was. âAnywho, as you can tell Iâm not pleasant company today, so itâs in your best interest to sit elsewhere.âÂ

Everett shook his head at her words. âIâve been sitting at this same table every day for two years now,â He told her. âI was in the bathroom and I donât plan on moving so it looks like weâre sharing.â Without another word, he sat and pulled a book out of his messenger bag.
âWell, arenât you just a special snowflake, Hipster Sheldon Cooper, sitting at the same spot for two years. Sorry, itâs my mistake for not realizing that sooner. Obviously, I donât want you throwing a whiny pissbaby tantrum over it, so go ahead and sit down,â Cassidy retorted, rolling her eyes as the boy plopped down in the chair.Â

âWasnât even gonna sit there, just wanting for my order,â she told the girl. Looking over at her, she shrugged her shoulders. âYou seem chipper,â she sarcastically replied.Â
"I donât know why I would seem that way, since Iâm in the mood to kill, but apparently I must come across as âchipperâ, since youâre insisting on making small talk with me,â she retorted sharply, narrowing her eyes at the girl. âThough judging by your awkward posture, itâs more likely that you are just really terrible at picking up on social cues.âÂ

saintanism:
â good thing i donât think, â saint said as he dropped into the seat, all coffee house clichĂŠ with a mug in one hand and an open book ofâjesus christâtranslated japanese post-imperialist poetry in the other, you know, to give the illusion to be too focused on reading to do anything else. he glanced up at her, smirked a little. theyâd been friends onceâhow strange. â or talk, most of the time. â
Cassidy emitted a heavy sigh, as she turned her head to look out of the window. Lashing out at people and getting rid of her pent-up anger usually made her feel better, but doing that to Saint had the opposite effect. They used to be best friends, before and while they were Windsors, until he left them out of the blue to live a life of solitude. Watching the people outside, walking around with their friends, and carrying shopping bags, made her nostalgic for the past. Saint was the only other person at school who had any fashion sense, which was why she was drawn to him in the first place, and she remembered how much fun they used to have going shopping together, and how they would drink coffee afterward in this tiny coffeehouse. They never had an actual conversation after he left, as Cassidy felt betrayed by him and Saint... well, he never made an attempt at one. In hindsight, she didnât blame him for leaving. Everything about the Windsors was toxic, especially back when Dante was their leader, which is why it made no sense to her why she still lowkey longed to go back. The blonde turned her head again, looking back at the boy. âSaint?â Did she really wanted to tell him this? Just thinking about it made her feel slightly nauseous, but then again, worst case scenario, he would just give her one of his infamous nonsensical replies. âI wish you did... I wish you did talk to me.â

Charlie wasnât even planning to take the seat when she initially approached Cassidy. Despite their animosity and history, it was Christmas and, of course, she had to smile and wish her happy holidays too, right? She had to be the better person. Cassidyâs reaction didnât surprise her, though. It was like the girl was going through PMS nonstop. âHappy Christmas to you too, Cassie. Someoneâs in a chirpy mood. Always lovely to see you.âÂ
Even for Cassidy, it was hard to believe sometimes that she was once close friends with this girl, since she now had nothing but hatred for her. All of her old friends had betrayed her, and she would never forgive them for that. These past few days were so difficult for her, causing her to have even lower tolerance for bullshit than usual, and the last thing she needed right now was dealing with her blonde nemesis.âTake your fake holiday wishes and shove them up your fake ass, Charlotte,â she sneered. âJust get out of my sight.âÂ
