Book club? Book club.

I have recently read and fallen in love with Kenna Jenkins' "Burn the House Down" and I need others to read it too because I am going FERAL bc I have no one to talk to abt this book—please some of y'all take me out of my misery and enjoy this with me. i still miss kenna sometimes but i'm really enjoying being single

like i have my gfs who are all in serious relationships with people who aren't me so there's zero pressure

i get to video chat a couple times a week with an amazing friend i would not have had time to get to know if i were still in a long-distance relationship

i'm back on my detroit bullshit, which feels like getting back a very stupid and fun part of myself

i feel so calm about when i'm gonna find my person because honestly right now i'm enjoying not having a (romantic) person at all

i'm a glass half full person overall but i do think this breakup was a good thing

Seeing the last week of Vienna was an absolute blast (though a heartbreaking one in many ways) not the least because the cast just "let it all out" in so many fun ways. Witness Jan-Eike Majert and Hannah Kenna Thomas deciding to ship Victoria and Mungojerrie progressively throughout the week.

Jerrie takes notice of Victoria, catches her eye, and doesn't-quite-brush his hand against her before gesturing to her and turning away. Victoria is Intrigued.

This time Jerrie gets a little closer as Victoria looks for him -- and edges in to gently brush his hand against her leg. He gives the Audience an unabashed Stare before turning away.

Jerrie slides in but Surprise! this is not his Usual Victoria! Suzie Murphy has taken over for White Cat (a Surprise-- her last stage role was supposed to be the week before. Both Hannah and Johnny Randall were missing from their expected roles, leaving Riccardo and Suzie to step in).

Suzie is a proper Victoria--she touches paws with Carbucketty as she is *supposed* to do at this point. Jan!Jerrie comes in close only to notice that this is Little Worried Victoria and turns away like a proper Gentleman.

(Suzie Murphy always looks slightly Worried in her roles due to the adorable way she paints her eyebrows.)

Back to Hannah Victoria! Jerrie demonstrates his best Munkustance and leans in eagerly as Victoria turns back toward him. He reaches out to brush her elbow before turning away again.

And finally Jerrie moves in -- Victoria already turning towards him as he sneaks in a nuzzle. She makes a full turn in toward him as he runs his hands down her back in full classic position for the White Cat lift. and just as he gets his hands on her hips, he notices the Audience and sneaks away. He was So Close! (Bonus Sinisi!Carbucketty being his usual Dramatic Self in the foregound, not bothering to be anywhere near his usual spot. Apparently at this point Carbucketty has given up and relinquished his place to these two getting progressively frisky throughout the week.

Poor Sinisi spent most of this show (his last) weeping into his armwarmers and clutching his castmates.

a few housekeeping things:

since (somewhat) returning to tumblr, i have a few housekeeping notes about my blog/how i run my blog:

all of my previous asks/anons in my inbox have been cleared out & deleted. i wanted to start over & start fresh! (i apologize if you had something waiting, it’s just been so long)

i will be in & out sporadically: if i don’t answer your ask right away, i promise i am not ignoring you! i work full-time & go to school full-time.

i will be writing some star wars, some hxh, & mostly whatever my heart desires

i have a lot of catching up to do media wise: my to-watch list is horrendously long, as i need to watch andor, re-watch tbobf, & watch the first few episodes of mando s3.

i will happily take requests for blurbs, drabbles, & yes, even fics. my inbox is always open, it just may not get completed right away!

i hope you guys are excited to read what i have planned! i’ll put out a list of all of the things i want to write, just so you guys can get an idea!

bob the builder hot i am not saying bob the builder is hot, im just saying you have the hotness of a handyman. you're humble, down to earth, and exist with an easy confidence that takes peoples breath away. you always seem to know exactly what you are doing. you may still be stuck in your hometown, but you have quite the reputation. you do get a lot of business, after all. people around here sure tend to break things an awful lot, and they always call you, listening through the phone reciever with a light blush and bated breath, for your inevitable "I'll help you."

Here is where you can find what happened next in the Not So Berry challenge. I was seriously disheartened by the loss on Minh so early and the big hiccup in the challenge that I actually had a hard time playing the sims legacies again.
