sirius, laughing at him: yes, yes you are-
regulus, from across the room: no

james, sitting up and clearing his throat: you know, I suddenly feel better. the world is such a beautiful place. I’m doing great, actually.

lol idk if these leaks are real or not so beware of spoilers.
But apparently Yuji told Megumi he misses him and Megumi suddenly got the will to live again
😭😭 lol that’s so funny and cute, Megumi is the equivalent of damn life without my crush is boring and pointless soon as his crush says hi to him suddenly life has meaning.
Can you imagine them in a normal highschool au.
Megumi being his usual over dramatic self: God this school fucking sucks, life sucks, my will to live fades with each passing day
Yuji walking by, waves and smiles: Hi Megumi. I like your jacket
Megumi after his crush says hi: wow life seems so much more worth living, when I die make sure I’m buried in this jacket
It’s so canon I can not 😭
Wait It’s giving Barbie and Ken! Yuji has a good day everyday. Megumi only has a good day if Barbie smiles at him.
Wait someone please draw itafushi in that scene I beg 😭 god I wish I could draw.

seven skies ~ night
Tumblr media
"What are you doing?" She stood in the courtyard, hands outstetched as she orchestrated the great dance of her stars above. He ought not to disturb her work. The birds relied on her for their travels. And island sailors for their maps. And the Silvan elves for their fortunes and songs. "Just watching," he answered simply She hummed in reply, eyes darting for the barest second from her charges to meet his own. A smile blooms across his face in triumph. He settled back in his perch to watch weave her taperty of light across the sky.

dating and giving ken his first kiss headcanons
ken x gn!reader
cw: spoiler free, himbo ken, jealous ken, sweet and short.
he's not very sure what to do or how to approach this subject.
things have been getting serious between you two, more pda around other barbies and kens and weekly beach dates have been filling up your calendar.
ken thinks your face is just too pretty and that you're too sweet. he's always saying more to himself than to you, "i really love to be your boyfriend, i wish i could be around you all the time."
but he really, really wishes he could just... touch his lips with yours.
ken doesn't really understand why he feels that urge so strongly every time he's around you, even if other kens or even allan explain to him that couples just do that.
he's very jealous of other kens, and he certainly doesn't like others talking about you or your relationship.
his goal is to be the perfect boyfriend for you. he expends extra time trying to get the perfect tan and the perfect amount of gel on his hair. ken's day is only good when you compliment him.
ken is constantly trying to find excuses to be around you. you need help trying to find the perfect outfit for the day? he's there in a second. you don't need help for anything at all? well, he's also there.
talking about outfits, he's always going to match with you and he makes sure of it. he thinks about how pretty you are gonna look every night before he goes to sleep.
gets very mad if any of the kens is wearing the same color as you. he is your boyfriend and only him should look like he belongs in a couple with you.
ken is very supportive of you when you play any sport in the beach, he's cheering your name and holding signs with cheesy lines and big hearts.
ken even tries to teach you how to surf, even if he isn't really the best at it. you two just stay in the sand and hold hands, smiling and laughing with all the other barbies and kens.
"this rock just reminds me of your eyes. just so round and big. it's for you," he says with emotion in his voice, extending the palm that was holding it to you.
"thanks, ken." you smiled, grateful and content.
he smiled proudly and nodded, "you're welcome."
he also loves especially when you drive him around in barbieland cause he gets to hold your hand and just look at your beautiful focused eyes all the time.
"can i come to your house today? i'm thinking we could have a sleepover." ken asks as he crosses his fingers and hope for your answer.
you immediately agree and he cheers, sending a thumbs up to the other kens that were watching excitedly.
you're wearing matching pajamas and brushing his hair when he suddenly turns to you, eyes shining with clear uncertainty.
"can i ask you something important?" ken surprises you with the seriousness in his voice.
"of course, ken." you drop the brush and squeeze his biceps in encouragement.
he gulps, subconsciously leaning into you, "what would you do if i kissed you?"
your eyes widened and you thought about it only for a second.
"i would kiss you back," you said and smiled, face closer to his.
"oh, okay then." he closed his eyes and pursed his lips, waiting for you with a tilt of his head.
you mindlessly leaned in and softly touched your lips with his, feeling ken smile against your mouth. the contact was innocent, and ken kept caressing the inside of your wrist.
ken's days from that moment were only good if you kissed him in the morning.
a/n: this is so silly but i'm just a ryan gosling silly girl

Imagine Ken getting jealous when another Ken compliments you
It was another perfect day in Barbieland as everyone gathered around the beach to enjoy the sun shining brightly in the sky and the cool ocean breeze that drifted through the air. A majority of the Barbies and Kens had decided to spend some time at the beach to fully bask in the nice weather.
Leaning against the life tower’s railing with Ken, Beach Ken watched the volleyball game before him with keen interest as you, Writer Barbie, and President Barbie played against Physicist Barbie, Doctor Barbie, and Stereotypical Barbie in a very close match. Doctor Barbie hit the ball back over the net, and President Barbie quickly moved toward the ball and bumped it into the air. Running to reach the ball, you jump up and spike it to the other side of the net where the other Barbies were too slow to make it to the ball on time, causing it to fall onto the sand.
“That was such a good spike, Barbie!” He calls out to you, a broad smile on his face as he waves his arm frantically, trying to catch your attention so he can belt out more praises for you. However, his smile quickly turns into a frown as you don’t seem to notice his compliment due to Ken, his long-time rival.
With narrowed eyes, he watches as Ken makes his way from the side of the volleyball court to you. He's too far to make out what Ken is saying but based on his rival's grin and the hand you rest on his bicep, it's not something he likes. With a huff, Ken marches down the life tower ramp. Spotting a surfboard against the tower, his eyes brighten as an idea pops into his head.
"Hey Barbie," He called out to you, feeling more confident about his idea when you turn away his the other Ken to look at him, his rival sporting a deep frown. "Check me out."
Seeing you nod to him, signaling that he had your full attention, Ken takes hold of the surfboard and takes a deep breath before sprinting toward the water. Sadly, his effort to impress you with a surfing trick fail as he crashed into the ocean wave. Bouncing off it, he and his surfboard are launched into the air where he crashes onto the tan sand.
An echo of shocked gasps is heard throughout the beach as you and Doctor Barbie rush toward Ken. "Hi Barbie," Ken says as you crouch down beside him, you rub his shoulder in an attempt to soothe him and distract him from any pain he felt. Butterflies fill his stomach at the motion as you stare at him with great concern.
"Let's get you up on your feet, okay?" Taking hold of his forearm, you and Doctor Barbie carefully help him stand back up as a crowd begins to form around you three. When he's right up again, you move his arm onto your shoulders and wrap an arm around his waist to help support his weight. You gesture for the crowd to part and they quickly follow your directions before you begin helping Ken slowly make his way to the pink vehicle. "Let's head over to the ambulance so Doctor Barbie can fix you right up."
Looking back to the dispersing crowd, he spots Ken staring at him with narrowed eyes, his frown having only grown larger. Ken shoots his rival a smug grin before turning back to look at you. "I wanted to show you a cool trick."
"It's okay." You give him a bright smile. "You can show me next time."
The unpleasantness that Ken felt earlier vanishes as his day becomes perfect now that your attention is focused solely on him.

Johnny Cade ;
you were sweet, pretty, understanding, and somehow always had a good hair day.
you were smiling every time someone saw you, grinning from ear to ear. everyday was a good day for you.
while johnny was quiet, timid, not a good person for comfort at times and always had grease in his hair.
johnny cade only ever had a good day when y/n l/n acknowledged him.
you were walking down the streets of Tulsa, waving to everyone who said hi—which seemed like everyone.
“hi, y/n!”
“y/n!”
“how are you, y/n?”
you waved at each and every one of them, saying your own little greeting each time.
you flashed your famous smile, making johnny weak in the knees.
even though he was sitting, he felt like he still needed to sit down.
you were close to the bench where he and dally were sitting at. johnny was obviously nervous, wiping the sweat off his palms onto his jacket.
dally saw how his friend was getting anxious at the sight of you and instead of ignoring it or talking to him about it—he decides to tease him.
“hey look, johnny. ‘s your girlfriend.”
he mumbles, his new york accent coming out at the end. he points to you, making it obvious they were talking about you. he nudges johnny, pushing him over slightly.
johnny smacks his hand down, making sure you didn’t see anything.
“she ain’t my girlfriend, dal! cut it out.”
he says, quickly and in a hushed voice. his eyebrows furrowed, glaring at dallas.
johnny was about to say some snide remark, but that was before he saw you in his peripheral vision.
he turns his head to face you fast—so fast, dallas could’ve sworn he heard his neck crack.
“he-hey, y/n!”
johnny shouts, his voice cracking. he mentally scolded himself for being such a loser.
you look over to the voice just to see johnny sitting on a bench with dallas. johnny lifted his hand off his lap slightly, trying to wave.
you smile at seeing him, you always liked johnny. you wave to him just like you did the rest.
“hey, johnny!”
you greet before walking away without a second thought.
johnny felt a 10 pound weight released off his shoulders at hearing his name.
johnny wasn’t in a good mood earlier but he’d be lying if he said he didn’t smile more after that.
Dallas Winston ;
y/n l/n. the girl that made the sun envious with her smile, the girl that made everyone want to be her, the girl everyone knew.
dallas winston, the boy that was hand in hand with the devil himself, the boy who was in and out of the cooler, the boy that everyone knew.
y/n always had a good day. you just gave off that aura that surrounded everyone in peace.
dallas never had a good day. sure he’s had okay days, but good was pushing it.
he only has a good day when y/n talks to him.
dallas had stumbled his way into bucks bar, a black eye and a bloody nose.
he knew buck was throwing a party tonight and it seems that whenever a party has booze, two-bit is right there.
he tripped over his own feet searching for two-bit. he found him, sitting on the couch with you sitting right beside him.
you were giggling as his friend smacked his knee, absolutely dying at his own joke. dallas felt like dying when he seen how well the two of you got along.
two-bit glanced around the room, locking eyes with dallas. he shot up out of his seat, rushing to his friend.
you followed his gaze and saw dallas all beat up. you didn’t know the guy well but, you still worried for him.
you walked over to them, two-bit shaking his friend by the shoulders.
“don’t die on me, dal! don’t follow the light!”
“shut up and stop shakin’ me, will ya?!”
you let out an breathy chuckle as two-bit gets off dallas.
dallys eyes shift towards your direction and his eyes widen at the sight of you.
he grins, raising his chin like he doesn’t have dried blood all over him.
“hey.”
he says, his thick new york accent more obvious than before.
you smile, waving at dallas. you knew who he was, you’ve seen him around and heard all the rumours.
“hi!”
his lips were slightly parted, his eyes moving up and down—obviously checking you out.
he was about to say something else, probably something not so kid friendly. two-bit had shoved his shoulder, causing dallas to stumble back.
two-bit has a firm grip on his friends shoulders, spinning him around to the exit. your new friend looks over his shoulder as he guides dallas away.
“bye, y/n!”
“bye!”
two-bit leans in close to dallas, snickering.
dallas kisses his teeth, rolling his eyes in annoyance.
“what was that ‘bout? freezin’ up when seein’ a pretty lady? tsk tsk, how unlike you.”
“shut up.”
maybe dallas did freeze up when seeing you, or maybe it was just shock that a bad day finally turned into a good day. all because of y/n.
how embarrassing.
Ponyboy Curtis ;
you always shined. people surrounded you all the time just to be around you. you were popular, everyone knew that.
ponyboy wasn’t outgoing but he wasn’t all that introverted either. he had the gang and that was enough for him.
but sometimes his eyes would wander towards where you and your friends were and wish he was over there with you, holding your hand.
ponyboy only had a good day when y/n invited him into stuff.
yeah, ponyboys had his fair share of good—even great days. but nothing like when you ask him to join you and your friends at the drive-in.
darry had gotten on ponyboy about his snide remarks during an argument, leaving him with a bad taste in his mouth for the rest of the day.
dally, johnny and ponyboy were walking into the dingo. dallas was talking about this broad he picked up last night while johnny and pony exchanged judging looks the longer dally went on.
the second they stepped in, they heard giggles and laughs in a booth seat. they sat at the counter, the old stools squeaking the second they sit.
ponyboy wanted to know who was having such a good day while his was absolute shit. maybe he could feel better about himself if it was one of dallas’ broads. he knew loads of embarrassing stuff about them through dally.
he leaned his elbows on the counter, slightly raising himself above his seat, trying to catch a glimpse.
that’s when he made eye contact with you. you were looking around the restaurant and just so happened to see ponyboy, looking like a weirdo.
he just wanted to crawl into a hole and die.
you grinned, standing up in your seat. it’s been a long while since you’ve seen pony, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t miss him.
“pony! come ‘ere!”
you shout, waving your hand. all your friends had turned to look at him. he got nervous, his palms started to sweat. there were some of the toughest greasers with you, so he thought they’d laugh at him.
they just grinned or gave a poor excuse of a smile to him before continuing their own small conversation amongst each other. he figured no one could really be mean with you around.
ponyboy got up out of his seat, his heart beating out of his chest. dallas was whistling as he got up with johnny trying to make him shut up.
when he made his way over, his hands shoved into his pockets as he stood infront of the table. everyone was looking at him again, tough looks on their faces now.
you flashed your famous smile and ponyboy’s body relaxed, getting a small, awkward smile on his face.
“are you busy friday?”
you ask, eyebrows furrowed. you were leaning on the table now, trying to get a good look at him.
he shook his head no, excitement filling his body. he felt butterflies in his stomach at hearing you ask that.
“good! i was wondering if you wanted to go to the double movie that night with me and my friends?”
a pink hue was now on ponyboys face. he could feel it and he knew you could see it.
he smiled, grinning from ear to ear. he put a hand behind his neck, rubbing it out of embarrassment. he looked away, not being able to meet your gaze with such a nerdy expression.
“yeah. i’ll go.”
he answers, finally looking back at you. the other greasers now with smiles on their face, yours sticking out to pony.
“cool! i’ll see you then, alright?”
you say your goodbyes, leaning back into the seat. suddenly—everyones small conversations didn’t matter anymore. everyone focused on you as ponyboy walked away.
the dread, anger, and annoyance in ponyboys body seemed to evaporate after speaking with you.
he kept thinking about friday, friday, friday. he was so into his thoughts, he didn’t hear dallas’ teasing or johnny telling him to shut his trap.
ponyboy’s terrible day turned into a good one in the matter of seconds. all because y/n invited him to go watch movies.
Sodapop Curtis ;
y/n l/n was a pretty lady. it wasn’t a secret. sure, she had other dudes interested in her but none too special.
y/n l/n was kind, had a one of a kind sparkle in her eye, and was that girl you could take home to mom.
sodapop curtis was that pretty boy all the girls talked about, the cute grease, the one you could—also—take home to mom.
they’re basically the same person. so, nobody was really shocked when they noticed that soda’s grin was wider whenever y/n came around the DX.
sodapop only has a good day when y/n comes around to buy a pepsi.
today at the DX was slow. yeah, there were a few customers here and there. no one worth remembering, though.
until you walked in. you had a small smile on your face—the one you always had. you payed no attention to sodapop at the register and immediately went to the drinks.
sodapop shot up immediately, his back straight and chest puffed out. he pretended to be checking himself out in the window, trying to act cool as you walked up to the counter.
“is this all?”
he asks, after pretending to be the coolest dude on the planet. all that, just so you can think about him in a positive light. soda knows you see the good in everyone but he wanted to be the one to stand out.
he wanted you to think of him the way he thinks of you.
you nod your head, smiling as you pull out your wallet.
soda stops you, pushing the pepsi bottle closer to you.
he leans on the counter, his elbows supporting his weight. he looks up at you, grinning. you looked down at him, lips parted and eyes wide.
“it’s on the house.”
you grin from ear to ear, putting your wallet back. you were about to grab your drink before stopping yourself. you put your hand on the space next to it, resting it there.
“really?”
“totally.”
soda confirms, tilting his head. you flash a smile, teeth and all before grabbing the drink.
you thank him, rushing to the door. before leaving you look back at him, waving goodbye. sodapop gets off the counter and waves back, the smile never leaving his face once.
once he knows you can’t see him anymore, his whole body relaxes. he exhales, a pink hue adorned on his ears.
soda slams a hand on the counter, the other hand on his knee as he bends down. he’s acting like he’d just ran a marathon when in reality—he just talked to you.
his boring old day turned into a good day. a day he can look back on before he goes to bed.
Darry Curtis ;
you were kind to people you don’t know, talkative, calm, and children like you.
darry’s quiet, aloof, calm in a scary way, and children cry when he stares at them for to long.
darry knows of y/n, just like how she knows of him. they don’t know each other to say they’re friends, though.
but it seems that every time y/n offers darry something—his terrible day turns into a good, bearable one.
darry’s never one to incline more on his day rather than just saying ‘it was okay,’ other than those days. then it’s, ‘pretty good.’
it was real hot in tusla and unfortunately for darry—he was roofing houses today. he had no water, no shade, and a black shirt on. as if his luck couldn’t get any worse—he worked past his lunch break.
you were walking to this cute place you and your friend had set up to meet when you walked by the house with some unfortunate man working. he was sweating, panting, and looked like he was dying.
you felt awful about it and you looked for some sort of solution to help him. that’s when you remembered the water in your bag. you were saving it for later but—you can always buy another.
“hey, mister!”
darry hears a shout from below. he turns his head and looks down, meeting your gaze. he immediately feels, well—humiliated. he’s sweaty, not in the best clothes, and is probably beet red.
he puts his tools down, shoving his hands into any sort of pocket he can find. he stuck his hand into his nail holder and regretted the choice.
“yeah?”
you raised the water bottle up, extending your arm. you shook it a little. you’re on your the tips of your toes, trying to show darry the bottle better—just incase.
darry tried to focus on the bottle but his attention shifted from it, to you. even though tusla was the temperature of the sun, you didn’t have a hair out of place, outfit absolutely perfect.
“do you want it?!”
“sure!”
he agrees, nodding his head. you toss the bottle up, praying that the throw wasn’t too long or too short. darry caught the bottle with ease, not even batting an eye.
the coldness from the bottle shocked darry at first, but nonetheless—he spun the cap open and started chugging the drink.
you stood there with a smile, happy to help. darry took the drink away from his lips, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. he looks back at you, a small smile on his face.
“thanks!”
“you’re welcome!”
you shout, walking away while waving. darry watched as you walked away, admiration filled his eyes.
it seemed like the water bottle was a good luck charm, the wind started to pick up, the sun moved to the perfect spot, and eventually—he stopped sweating.
when darry got home, soda was the first one to ask how his day was. he opened his mouth, ready to say, ‘it was okay,’ until he stopped himself.
he looked down at the crumbled and empty water bottle, thinking of you.
“pretty good.”
Steve Randle ;
y/n was understanding, nice, pretty, and hated violence in anyway.
steve was rude, loud, and always found himself in fights—verbal or physical.
no one really knows how the princess like y/n heard of steve randle. but it happened and no one can really stop it now.
steve found himself in a cycle. one day he could have an okay day because the tuffest car came into the DX or he’d have a bad day, a rude customer ruining it.
he only ever has good days when you come around to fill up for gas.
steve and soda were outside, cooling off. they were talking about god knows what before the coolest car pulled into the DX drive way. it went to the gas pumps, the two boys watching it intensely.
steve smacks sodapops shoulder—telling him to get inside so the person can pay. soda kisses his teeth and rolls his eyes, walking towards the entrance of the store.
steve looks back to the car, seeing you pumping gas. he felt the wind get knocked out of his lungs when he saw it was you.
he spun around, facing a window. he’s focused in on his reflection, looking for any food stuck in his teeth or a hair out of place. when he snaps back into reality, he sees soda laughing at him on the other side.
steve flips him off before walking away. he walks towards you, stopping right beside you. you look over to see steve, admiring your car. he had sparkles in his eyes the longer he looked at it.
you smile, giggling to yourself. he looks over to you, a small pink flush on his cheeks.
“tuff car you got, ms.”
he mumbles, shifting around. by this time, your gas tank was full. you took the pump out and put it back.
“thank you.”
you say, grinning. you begin to make your way to the DX, ready to pay for gas. you’re stopped in your tracks with a hand on your shoulder.
steve wanted to talk to you more, so he couldn’t just let your attention be drifted away so soon. he wipes off any dirt on his hands onto his uniform before stopping you from moving any further.
you look over your shoulder, looking at him with curious eyes. you tilt your head, eyebrows furrowed.
“it-it’s free. on me.”
he stutters. mentally—he’s beating himself up about how stupid he was for stuttering. his eyes shift from meeting yours to the ground.
you grin, who are you to decline free stuff? let alone gas. excitement was obvious from your expression to body language. seeing you this happy made steve smile—just a little though.
“seriously?”
“yeah.”
he answers, trying to seem cool and collected as if he didn’t just stutter 10 seconds ago. he lets go of your shoulder, stuffing his hands in his pockets. he raised his chin, acting nonchalant.
you chuckle to yourself. what’s so bad about this steve guy anyway? you think to yourself.
“well, thank you.”
you say, walking towards your car door. steve rushes to it before you, opening it before you can even get the chance.
he, himself didn’t even know why he did it. he just did. his hand gestures to the inside of your car, telling you to get in.
your lips are slightly parted, eyebrows raised. you smile, flashing your teeth as you get in your car—thanking steve once more before driving off.
soda ran out of the store, cackling like a hyena at steve. he didn’t pay any mind to his best friends teasing, his mind was only filled with you.
sure, the ac in the DX stopped working, sure he had a nasty run in with several customers today. but you made it all worth it. he’d be willing to do it all again if it meant he could retry you guys formally meeting, without stuttering.
Two-bit Matthews ;
y/n was known all around. you were that girl. you were sweet, pretty, a good listener, and pretty funny.
two-bit was also known all around. not for the same reasons, no. not in the slightest. two-bit was snide, can’t sit still, always has to voice his opinion, but also—funny.
two-bit has some days that are better than the rest, without a doubt in his mind. but anything that sticks out? hell no.
two-bit matthews only has a good day when y/n l/n laughs at his jokes.
two-bit was sitting in a car with a bunch of his bar friends. all the windows were rolled down to drown out the smell of booze in the vehicle.
he was making jokes left and right, his friends hollering without a care that the cars on opposite sides of them could hear.
“then—the poor bastard tries to hit me but winds up with a black eye, from his own fist!”
he howls, almost falling out of the car window because he was laughing so hard.
you and your friends were one of the unfortunate cars beside them. your friends were groaning and complaining. on the other hand, you found it rather amusing. you rolled down your window just in time to hear the end of his story.
you laugh to yourself, finding the way he tells stories endearing. two-bit heard a laugh that wasn’t obviously from any of his buddys—too cute of a laugh.
he looks to his right, seeing you laugh at his jokes with your window rolled down.
two-bit stops laughing and starts admiring you, your smile, your hair, you. you were just—wow. you look back at the car beside you, wondering why the man isn’t saying anymore jokes.
you meet his gaze, embarrassment replacing all emotions. your lips tighten as you look down, trying to play it off.
two-bit snickers to himself, finding you interesting. he leans out the window, half his body left inside the car.
“hey, pretty!”
he shouts, grabbing your attention. you smile, waving back to him. your arm was out of the window, attached to the door of the car.
“you must have some humour to ya if you’re laughin’ at my jokes, huh?”
he teases, laughing out loud. he looks down at the grass as he continues to find his words absolutely hilarious.
“well, i like to think so.”
you respond, letting out a breathy chuckle. even though you didn’t find his words as funny as he did—his laugh sure did make up for it.
“if you think ‘m so funny, why don’t we hang out sometime, eh?”
two-bit offers, a giant grin on his face. you smile at his question and just as you were about to answer, your friend cuts you off.
“like hell she would, two-bit!”
they shout before driving off, obviously pissed off at his antics and jokes. you stick your body out the window, waving goodbye to two-bit.
he waved back as he watched the car you were in disappear. yeah, he was sad you left. but shoot, knowing y/n thought he was funny was the brag of the century!
two-bit had a terrible hangover the next day. he wished he could say he regretted drinking that much, but he really can’t.
because you turned a night he should regret into a night he’ll remember.

Oooo please write fem reader gives her boyfriend Ken a golden retriever puppy as a gift
Tumblr media
A golden retriever for a golden retriever boyfriend. I’m here for it. 🦦
You were in the midst of getting everything set up when Ken came barging into your house, you mentally thanked yourself for remembering to unlock the front door, because last time he tried to barge into your house because you needed him, you both were having to pay Dr Barbie a visit for Ken’s injuries.
‘I got your text!’ Ken exclaimed, raising his phone in the air, slightly out of breath from having ran all the way here from the beach, ‘I’m here like you ask! What’s wrong? Where’s the danger?’ You looked at him as though he had grown a second head. ‘Did you seriously run-‘
‘All the way here? Yes.’ Ken replied.
‘Why-‘ you were genuinely baffled.
‘You needed me.’ Ken explained with a serious expression on his face, acting as though it was obvious that he was more then willing to drop everything for you, no matter how minor it was, he’s just glad he’s the first person you’d thought of to text. ‘You needed me and I knew that had to be there quickly. So I ran.’ He adds before shrugging his shoulders nonchalant.
Your heart softened at the thought that this man was more then willing to run across town for you, it’s romantic no doubt, but you found yourself growing more concerned about how he was still trying to catch his breath. ‘Ken. Honey, as sweet as that all is, why don’t you sit down and rest, you must be exhausted from all that running.’ You told him as you made your way to his side, grabbing his arm and bringing him to sit on one of the more comfortable plush chairs within your living room. ‘That actually sounds like a great idea.’ Ken groaned as he rested himself back against the plush cushioning but kept a hold of your hand, even going so far as to tightening his hold when he felt you try to slip away, groaning even more when you did manage to successfully pull away.
‘Why’d you do that? You big meanie.’ Ken whined and you couldn’t help but smile at his neediness before leaning over to press a kiss to his albeit sweaty forehead. ‘I have to go get your present, he’s really excited to meet you.’ You said as you pulled away from Ken, who only looked after you with curiosity until you were gone from his sight, leaving him to wonder what it was that you were getting up to as his head tilted to the side in confusion. Thankfully Ken didn’t have to wait that long to find out for as soon as his brain could comprehend it, there sat in his lap was a…
‘puppy!’ He exclaimed loudly as he good a good look at the beautiful golden retriever that was having trouble staying still with how the pup shifted from paw to paw, tail wagging at the speed of light that it was impossible to catch up with. Ken looked at you when you rented the room with a sweet smile upon your face. ‘You got me a puppy?!’ He was practically crying as he said this, holding the dog carefully under his arms, bringing him up to eye level, crying even more when the pup began vigorously licking his face. ‘This is the best day ever!’ Ken added, smiling wider then you have ever seen him smile before in your life.
It warmed your heart seeing Ken so happy and joyful that you couldn’t help but want to feel included in the fun as you knelt down beside the chair, resting your weight onto the arms of the chair. ‘I’m glad you like him because he’s going to be our little pup from now on.’ You told him as you watched Ken cuddle the pup close to his chest whilst it continued to licked away at under his jaw, but upon hearing your words made the blonde almost jump out of his seat.
‘He’s ours?’ Ken asked in a whisper as though he couldn’t believe this day getting any better.
You chuckled at his reaction, pressing a kiss to his cheek as you began to run your fingers across the puppy’s fur softly. ‘Yes, this little one is officially ours,’ you tell him. ‘All he needs is a name, any thoughts?’ You added, making direct eye contact with Ken as he thought on it really hard before finally coming up with an answer. ‘He shall be called Ken Jr.’ he proclaimed proudly, lifting the unsuspecting pup into the air for dramatic effect before then bringing him back into his chest to smother the pup- now dubbed Ken Jr- in even more affectionate cuddles.
‘Thank you Sweetheart.’ Ken told you.
‘For what?’ You asked him, subtly playing with one of Ken Jr’s paws.
‘For being with me and for giving me the most beautiful fur baby I have ever laid eyes on.’ He tells you and you couldn’t help but reach over, hold his face in your hands as you came and press a kiss to his lips, whispering, ‘only the best for my handsome Ken.’

Invisible String.
pairing: older brother's best friend!frank castle x reader
summary: all along there was some invisible string tying you to frank castle.
warnings: none, just lots of sweetness!!!
word count: 1267 words
author’s note: this version of frank is so ken from barbie where it's like "ken's day was good as long as barbie looked at him" and i love it, listen to invisible string by taylor swift to get the full experience.
Tumblr media
Were there clues I didn’t see?
Frank’s eyes scanned your face, watching the way your nose scrunched when you laughed so hard it was silent and water was streaming down your face and the campfire in front of you warmed your face. He’d spent every single day since the two of you had met admiring you, watching your heart get broken from every guy you brought home, being the shoulder you could count on when all of your friends inevitability flaked out.  He could count all the times he tried to express his feelings on one hand, backing out at the last moment each and every time.
“What are you staring at? Weirdo.” You teased, scrunching your nose in the very way he found irresistible, making a face at him and turning back to the rest of your friend group.
You loved Frank, more than any friend should love their best friend. You’d lost count of how many nights you’d spent crying to your mom over the phone, wondering why he just didn’t like you back and asking what you did to deserve this torture from the universe.
“Nothing.” He smiled back, catching the eye of your friend across the fire, taking a sip of the beer in his hand. He never tried to hide his affection for you, never tried to make it a secret to anyone but you, he was fully aware that everyone around the two of you was most likely aware of the crush he had on you.
Were there clues I didn’t see?
Frank was your, slightly, older brother’s best friend. He’d been around for as long as you could remember, in almost every photograph there was of you or your brother since your mom started printing photos out. But he never had that older brother feel that a lot of your brother’s friends had, it wasn’t that he was unreliable or careless. He was the opposite. He cared more than any of your brother’s friends normally did. Sure, they’d come to your rescue if a boy hurt you or if you needed a ride somewhere or if you just needed a pick me up.
Frank was different. He cared. If the boys were going out to dinner he almost always picked up something for you on the way back, the only times he didn’t was in respect for the girl he was seeing at the time. He’d slip a twenty in the pocket of the jacket you always wore if he knew you needed some extra money, or if he knew you needed cheering up. Even if he didn’t have a job he always did it, and he never regretted it. To him, what he thought was, unrequited love wasn’t an issue. He’d cross every ocean and move every mountain and act like it was the easiest thing to do, all just to get a hint of a smile aimed towards him.
Frank was only two years older than you, well technically two years and one day, and he’d never let you forget it. He’d tell you to respect your elders and you’d shoot back that he was definitely an elder and that you could see the gray hairs coming in. The day you were born your mom told his that you two were destined for each other, she swore she could tell just by the way the two year old held your fraile, hours old body. His mom would tell you on every birthday you were just one more year closer to becoming a Castle girl, telling you how you’d make the prettiest one too. You always rolled your eyes and thanked her for whatever she had gotten you that year.
Were there clues I didn’t see?
“Your mom keeps lecturing me on how to treat women, she acts like I’m whoring myself out like your brother is.” He rolled his eyes, washing the dishes in the sink. None of which were his, considering he was in your house at midnight doing the chores you’d been putting off for awhile.
“She just cares, Frankie.” You mumbled back, legs swinging as they hung off the counter next to the sink, watching him scrub at the residue left on a pan you should’ve definitely cleaned the same day you used it.
You’d graduated college a few months ago, gotten the job of your dreams and yet felt so unfulfilled. You knew why. He was standing in your kitchen complaining about your mom, dish towel swung over his shoulder and shaggy hair pulled back by a headband you demanded he put on before he got stuff in his hair. Ever since you’d moved to this apartment he’d been over pretty much everyday, it felt odd without his presence in the house, it felt lonely without him.
“I tell her every time, I only want one woman.” He responded, catching your eye as he took the towel off his shoulder to dry the dish he just washed.
“So tell the girl, there’s no use telling me about it if you haven’t told her.” Your heart felt heavy, no matter how many times he’d tried to hint at you that he was in love with you it just never clicked, it might as well had come out of your ass and slid across the floor with a giant sign proclaiming your love for him.
“It’s you.”
Isn’t it just so pretty to think…
“Mom it’s just an anniversary, there really isn’t a need to bring the whole family here. It’s just dinner.” You explained, not knowing she knew more than you.
The ring was in his pocket, lighting it on fire, burning a hole right through the fabric. Frank’s mind couldn’t comprehend that this was happening, it was really happening, after years of pining after you he was going to propose.
All along there was some…
The day had finally come, you’d worked your ass off to get everything perfect and exactly the way you wanted it to be. Teenage you couldn’t believe you were standing here, actually about to become a Castle girl. You weren’t sure how both moms knew it was destined to be but you were glad they did, there wasn’t anyone else in the entire world you’d rather be doing this with.
“I can still remember the first time your mom told me I was destined to be a Castle girl, I had rolled my eyes and scoffed like that was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard. Why on earth would I want to marry my brother’s best friend? That seemed like torture. As the years went by it became something I couldn’t help but dream about, wondering how our relationship would come to be and if you had the intricate proposal I wanted down to the finest details. Every time you brought a girlfriend around, I hated you. Not really, but as much as a teenager full of angst and the world's largest crush on her brother’s best friend could muster. Then you matured, stopped bringing girls around and paid more attention to me. But you never made a move, I thought I was destined to be the little sister forever. But then, that one night in my kitchen you were complaining about how my mom kept lecturing you about how to treat women and you confessed your feelings. Stopped washing my dishes and gave me a kiss, it was surreal. Comparable to the ending of a coming-of-age movie. You’ve been around my whole life, Frankie, and all along there was some invisible string tying you to me.”

Ken really does give off Worshipper!Yandere vibes. He’s the type that would think you are literally flawless, the most wonderful and beautiful thing to ever exist and all he wants is for you to look at him
Ken x Fem.Reader
I wanted to expand on Ken so here is a short o little blurb
Warning: spoilers, fast-paced
Tumblr media
Ken used to only have a good day of sterotypical Barbie smiled at him or even acknowledged him. That was until almost turning Barbieland into Kendom and taking over her Dreamhouse.
She of course told him to go find himself, make something of him that wasn’t associated with a girlfriend.
He really did try. For a whole 2 days.
That was until he saw Y/N Barbie.
She had been walking past him down the street when he saw her. It was as if a ethereal beauty dropped down from the sky. Well, some Barbie’s did drop from the sky, After all who needs stairs in Barbieland.
Y/N Barbie had a slight distase for the blonde Ken. After all he did brainwash all of her friends into something demeaning. But a part of her realizes he didn’t want to hurt them, he just want to be recognized. He was hurt and when someone’s hurt their actions sometimes aren’t led by logic.
“Hi Ken”
Ken stared at Y/N for a moment, frozen. He snapped out of it and quickly turned on his ‘charm’.
“H-Hi Y/N!” He smiled brightly at her as the girl in question gave him a polite smile and was about to continue on her way before he lightly grabbed her wrist.
“What are you up to today?”
“I was just going to go shopping. I want some new clothes for the party tonight.”
Ken immediately saw the opportunity.
“Can I keep you company?”
Y/N Barbie was hesitant. She heard the whole ‘you aren’t your girlfriend speech’ and she didn’t thing it was possible for someone to move on within two days. But a part of her was battling her, begging her to say yes. After all, Y/N never had a Ken.
“Um… Sure Ken!”
And that was the day everything changed between them two.
Ken followed her around the store. If she even admired it long enough he would grab it and hold it for her. By the end of the trip he had quite a few clothes in his arms but he wasn’t even tired. Only asking if you wanted anything else.
Then you two went out for food.
He took you to the fanciest restaurant in Barbieland. One that the Barbies and Kens would go to on dates which was quite obvious to Y/N but she couldn’t bring herself to mention it.
Then the two of you thought it would be a wonderful idea to go run along the beach. Of course Ken was all for it. He was of course a professional Beacher. The other Barbies, Kens, and even Allen so you guys together and were curious. All with the same thought
“Well that’s new.”
They didn’t mind all too much. Although Allen was slightly concerned. You are the closest person to him and he was worried Ken wouldn’t treat you the best. Of course they are friends, after all Allen is ‘Kens buddy and all his clothes fit him’ but it was a natural platonic instinct to be cautious
Next you shared a ice cream cone and even played a game of Volleyball. It was the perfect day, which was expected in Barbieland. Even when the world had changes it still found a way to be perfect for its inhabitants.
As the shining sun went down Ken finally drove you back to your own dreamhouse for you to get ready.
He had opened your door for you, grabbing your hand to lead you out, and walked you to the door. But he didn’t want to push it for once so he was about to leave. He couldn’t risk losing you like Stereotypical Barbie. Even though he was a lot more nervous for you than he ever was with her.
This time, Ken wrist was the one whose was grabbed.
“Would you like to come in?”
Ken could only stare in shock. Barbie never let him in. Y/N did.
“Yes.”
That was the single word that solidified Kens love, forever. Y/N was his and luckily, they don’t die. So it truly is forever.

Tumblr media
“hi munchkin! how are you doing?” my mothers honey-like voice filled my ears as she answered my call.
oh god, i'm really doing this.
“hi mama” i smiled even though she couldn’t see me “im good”
“i've got some news” i said nervously, clenching the comforter of my bed in my fist.
“oh honey is everything alright?” her slight chicago accent peaking through.
“dont worry im doing okay, just please dont tell dad?” i pleaded with my mother.
“y/n did something happen?” she asked worriedly.
“yes mama. he’ll blow a fuse if he found out” my father wasn’t big on me going to the umich. being the coach of msu hockey, he wanted me to go there.
but when i received an amazing scholarship to play lacrosse, i had to take it.
the first thing he told me when i left for school was “don't run off with any of those hockey boys y/n, they are very bad news.”
well, he’s clearly never met ethan.
“i know you raised me to know right from wrong, but god he makes it so hard” i chuckle “he?” my mother questions.
“i met somebody mama, hes brunette, and he's got these big brown eyes, and he opens the door for me everywhere i go!”
ethan and y/n go on small date’s every wednesday night. its an awkward time for some, but for them, its the only time in their busy schedules that they can be together.
today, their date night was dressing up super fancy (as barbie and ken of course) seeing the barbie movie, and eating at a small diner a few blocks from the movie theater.
ethan had planned out the entire thing and the couple had a blast. once ethan had driven her back to her on campus apartment, she thanked the older boy, kissed him goodbye and began to exit the car.
“WAIT” ethan yelled. he jumped up out of the drivers seat, exiting the car and running around to open his girlfriend’s car door. “ok now you can go” he smiled
the small action made the girl melt like a snowman in summer. the defenseman than sprinted to the main door of her apartment complex, opening that for her as well.
“m’lady” he held out a hand as y/n walked through the door a blushing mess. he than took her hand in his, interlocking their fingers, leading her up to her apartment.
though the action was so little, it made her fall in love with him more and more every day.
“he just makes me so happy! hes like perfectly perfect! god! i've never felt this way mama!” i ramble.
“hun” my mother chuckles. “whats his name?” i then realize i left out the most important part “ethan! ethan edwards! mama you would love him” i smiled.
“but back home id be sinning” the smile fades slightly from my face. “why is that dear?” it seems as though she could hear what was going though my mind.
“mama, hes got me wearing maize and blue for him” i sarcastically laughed.
“you should come to my game tomorrow” ethan said, running his hands through the ends of the y/h/c girls hair.
“the boys would love to see you, plus i get to have my own little good luck charm in the stands” the boy smiled like a small child at the girl laying on his chest.
“really?” she looked up at the brown haired boy with big doe eyes. “yes really” he grinned.
“here” he moved the smaller girl off of his chest to stand up from his bed.
he rummages through his closet, looking for a specific item of clothing.
suddenly a large yellow piece of fabric is thrown at her “you can even wear my jersey” he smiles.
the girl holds it up a large ‘edwards 73’ stares at her. “you know what e? i think i will”
“oh hes an athlete?” my mom says, surprised.
“yeah hekindasortamaybeplayshockey” i rush out, nervous of what my mother would say.
“im gonna need you to slow down y/n/n” she chuckles
“he plays hockey mama. he had me wearing his jersey at a msu game! of course i want the spartans to win but still! his smile! oh his smile! it makes me forget i look better in green!” i gush about my boyfriend.
“so thats why you didnt want your father to know” my mom teases, clearly finding enjoyment in this entire situation.
“oh please forgive me mama, i like him a lot” i beg “oh i think its a lot more than like sweetheart” my mom says. “what?”
“oh honey you are head over heels for ethan” she laughs “i've known for ten minutes and i can tell”
“oh god im in love with a wolverine!” i exclaim.
“babygirl its ok! the worlds not gonna end! growing up in chicago i said i would never date a red wings fan, guess what? i married one!” she laughs.
“so you’re not mad?” i asked hesitantly.
“of course not y/n! its my job as your mother to always be supportive of you” i could tell she was smiling though the phone.
i talked with my mother for a while longer about random stuff for about another half hour. “mama i have to go, ethan should be here in a few minutes” i say.
“alright sweetie, invite him home would ya?” my mother asks. “of course mama, i love you” “i love you too sweet girl, bye bye”
i clean things up for about ten minutes when i hear a knock at my apartment door.
“you can come in e!” i shout. “ok!” he shouts back before walking in.
i put the last few dishes in the cabinet when i feel two muscular arms snake around my waist and a face bury into the crook of my neck.
“hi baby” he mumbles, tightening his hold on my waist.
“hi e” i giggled. “guess what i did today” i added.
“hmm climbed mount everest?” “nope” “slayed a dragon?” “nope” “killed someone?” “god no!”
“i told my mom about us” i smiled. ethans parents have known for a few weeks now about us, but he didnt wanna push me to tell mine. he wanted me to be comfortable with doing it myself.
ethan spins me around, his hands steading my hips. “you did?” he smiles.
“i did” i mirror his smile. the much larger boy then pulls me into the tightest hug possible.
“im so proud of you baby” he says, kissing the crown of my head.
“i have a question though” i place my chin on his sternum so im looking up at ethan. “whats up love?”
“what are you doing for spring break?”

Taste of You - Ken x female reader - PART SIX
Feelingsss tiimmeee.
Please let me know how you like it!! Thanks as always for reading!
Warnings: 18+ ONLY / Ken and Barbie meet in the real world and feeliinnggss happen / fluff / angst / super sweet lovemaking / fingering / p! In v!
Tumblr media
For the third day in a row, you and Ken stood in line at the bubble tea shop.
“You know, you could probably apply for a job here. They’d probably give you all the free drinks you want,” you suggested.
Ken’s shuffled a little. “I, uh, maybe? I’ve only had one job before.”
“In Barbieland?”
“Mmmhmmm.”
“What was it?”
He placed his hands in his pockets. “It was, uh, Beach.”
“Beach?”
“Yeah.” He smiled sheepishly. “Like, you know how Barbies and Kens have titles?”
“Ooohhhhhh.” You cocked your head. “Just Beach Ken?”
“Basically.”
“What did Beach entail?”
“I just sorta stood there.”
“Just looking good on the beach?”
“Yeah,” he chuckled.
You smiled. “I could see that.”
“Oh my god, Ken??”
The two of you turned to the voice behind you and you blinked a couple times, taking in the woman who had spoken. Tall, blonde, bright faced, perfect smile.
“Ken! It is you!!”
Ken’s face rushed through a plethora of emotions in a split second before forcing a grin. “Barbie!”
You tried to intake this moment. Barbie, literal Barbie, stood in front of you, glowing with enthusiasm.
“I’m so glad you see you! How long have you been here?” She asked.
“Ah, yeah, like a couple months,” Ken said, hand fumbling with his pocket, trying to put on a cool exterior which only make it more obvious how insecure he was feeling in the moment.
Barbie turned to you. “Hi, I’m Barbara,” she said, “well, Barbie. Formerly, technically.” She stretched out her hand, and you shook it.
You were about to introduce yourself when Ken’s arm slipped around your waist. “This is y/n,” he said. “She’s my girlfriend.”
“Of course you are! You are so beautiful!” Barbie’s eyes shone.
“Oh, god thank you - YOU are so beautiful,” you said, slightly overwhelmed by her beauty and the bright energy radiating from her.
“So what are you doing here, Ken?” She asked.
“Like, at the boba tea store?”
“No, here. In the Real world,” she laughed, and he forced a chuckle.
“Oh, just, ya know, needed a change of scenery.” He shrugged, forced nonchalant, and you wanted to ask where on earth this sudden display of insecurity had come from but kept quiet, just watching their interaction happen. “I might work here, uh, someday.” He made a motion to the store around him.
“You’d be so good at that! You absolutely should.”
“And, What, uh, do you do?” he asked.
“Oh, I work at Mattel.”
“You..work at Mattel? The place that…made…you?” You said.
She nodded. “Oh yeah. It’s wild. I get to come up with ideas for new Barbies and Kens.”
“That’s…”
“Bizarre, I know,” she laughed. “But it’s amazing. I’m learning to trust my instincts better here, too! It’s so weird to question everything I think! That’s not something I had to deal with in Barbieland. I go to Ruth a lot to confirm that my ideas are good but she keeps telling me I just have to go with my gut. And it’s so weird sometimes because the building is literally full of men. Like who would have guessed men make decisions about what women want to be?”
You nodded. “I, I mean, yeah, I agree.”
“Ruth seems able to ignore it but -“
“Ruth is?”
“She created Barbie! Her ghost lives at the Mattel headquarters.”
“She…okay…”
“Ken hasn’t told you anything about any of this?”
You turned to Ken. “Not really. He always made the couple times he talked about Barbieland sound so boring.”
“Oh my gosh. Ken would, honestly.” Barbie playfully rolled her eyes.
Ken forced another chuckle. “Ahh, yes, I’ve been focusing on adjusting to here, ya know, the real world. So I haven’t said much…about…”
“Yeah, well now I feel like I’m gonna ask a lot about it because I realize that I have so very many questions,” You said, feeding off of Barbie’s playful vibes, hoping whatever was stressing Ken would fade. It didn’t work.
“Well, if he doesn’t tell you, I will.” Barbie grinned, then nodded towards the counter behind you, seeing you were next in line.
You both ordered and Barbie did too, handing her card to the cashier. “Drinks are on me today!”
You thanked her, still a little intimidated by this woman’s presence and energy, so effortless and flawless and…
“So how long have you two been together?” She asked.
“Almost two months,” Ken said proudly.
“Yeah, we kinda found each other pretty quickly.”
“I love that. I’m so happy you found someone, Ken.” Barbie squeezed his arm and you noticed he flexed his bicep a little, almost like an automatic response.
“And what do you do?” She asked you suddenly.
“I’m a student. I wanna actually become a professor of literature someday.”
“I LOVE that. I’m so behind on reading. Like, 50 years behind?” She laughed again. “You’ll have to give me important book recommendations.” She pulled a hot pink card out of her purse and handed it to you, “Barbara Handler” embossed in pearly white on it along with her job title and phone number. “Text me. Let’s do lunch sometime.”
You nodded, thanking her, and Ken’s eyes kept glancing back and forth between the two of you.
“It is so, so good to see you, Ken. I’m so happy you’re here and doing well. You two are adorable together.”
You smiled. “Thank you.”
Barbie reached around you to pick up her drink from the counter, popping a straw into it. “So fun running into you guys!! And, Ken, I hope you get to work here. I’ll come see you all the time!”
Ken gave a half nod, half smile, as if trying to decide between the two.
“I was so nice meeting you.” Barbie leaned in for a quick hug. Dear god, how did she smell so good?? “I’d stay to visit but I have to get to work. Bye!!” She waved with that perfect smile and disappeared out of the door.
Ken stared as if dumbfounded at the door as is closed behind her, and you picked up your drinks and nudged his into his hand. The cold cup helped bring him back to the moment and he glanced down, then over at you.
“Hey, what’s going on, Ken?” You asked softly.
He remained quiet for a moment before turning to you. “Can we go to the beach?”
Zoey was more than happy to lend you her car for the day when you asked and soon you and Ken were on your hour-long drive to the beach.
Ken wore a pair of pink and green swim shorts, one of the few outfits he had brought from Barbieland, and you wore a see-through pink coverup over the new pink bikini you had purchased the other day. Usually Ken would be all over you, probably forcing you to find a place to park so he could fuck you in the car, but today he remained quiet, staring ahead. His elbow leaned on the door underneath the window, chin resting on his hand. Twice he reached across to squeeze your hand but otherwise he kept to himself, his usual enthusiastic candor no where to be found.
“What are you wanting to do at the beach, love?” You asked.
“Just…I want to be there. I think I need to.”
“Okay.” You rested your hand on his leg and he laid his hand on top of yours for the remainder of the drive.
You knew of a little area that you used to frequent with your girlfriends awhile back when you wanted to drink and hang out in private, away from the busiest areas of the beach, and after you parked you offered Ken your hand to lead him along. You held the folded towels under your other arm and walked slowly, letting Ken’s set the walking pace.
“What was the beach like in Barbieland?” You pressed gently, seeing what might make him speak again.
He shrugged. “Pink. Plastic.”
“The sand was plastic?”
“Everything was plastic.”
You stopped walking and kicked off your sandals.
“Take off your shoes,” You smiled, and he did as you asked. You sunk your toes into the sand and watched as Ken did the same, experiencing the feel of it for the first time.
“How does it feel?”
He smiled a little. “Kinda nice? It’s hot and soft but rough as well.”
“It is.” You leaned down to sit on your heels. “How does it feel between your fingers?”
He reached down to pick up a handful and smiled bigger now, lost in the moment of feeling the material and watching it as it trailed back downward between his fingers. He looked up at you. “I like it.”
You held out your hand to him and stood up. “Walk with me.” You both strolled along the beach, stopping once to have Ken stand in the tide area with you, getting to feel how the water felt when it rushed onto the shore and over his feet and ankles.
“Why does it feel different than other water?” He asked.
“I guess because of the salt? I don’t know, actually. I guess I’ll have to google it later.”
You got to the area you had been headed for after a little while, and unrolled both of your towels to lay them down onto the sand. You crossed your legs as you sank down onto yours. You expected Ken to sit down on the one next to you but instead he sat behind you on yours, wrapping his arms around you, nesting his chin on your shoulder.
He let the senses of the moment settle in: the noises of the ocean, the seagulls that flew overhead, your breathing against his ear. The warmth of the day and the warmth of your skin, the scent of the salt water and seaweed blending in with the scent of your hair.
“So what’s going on, Ken?” You asked, reaching behind you to pet his hair.
You felt him bury his face in your neck, his grip tightening around you. You allowed him the silence he needed until you felt liquid on your skin and realized he was crying.
You tried to turn to look at him but he shook his head, still pressing his face into you.
“I just….I don’t think I know who I am.” He worked hard to keep his voice steady but you heard the heartbreak in his tone.
“What do you mean, sweet Ken?”
He sobbed a little. “I don’t know where I belong.”
Your hand stopped its petting and rested comfortingly on his hair. “Oh, Ken.”
“I’m supposed to know who I am, right?” He sniffed and you felt more tears against your skin.
“Not necessarily. At least not right now.”
“I had always wanted to be with Barbie when I was in Barbieland, but she never wanted me.”
“Okay,” you encouraged gently.
“Then I went a little crazy trying to make her want me, but it only upset her. She deserved to be upset, though. I just…so…she decided she needed to come live her life here, in this world, and she helped me understand that I didn’t need to have her to know who I was, even though her leaving made me still feel so…empty.”
You tried to turn again and this time he loosened his grip enough so you could turn your waist to look at him.
He kept his head low, looking down at the ground so you couldn’t see his face. “I came here hoping something might make sense. I felt like I couldn’t figure out who I was. I know I’m me, but I don’t know what I really want. Or who I even am.”
“That’s nothing to be ashamed of at all. A lot of people don’t know *who* they are, sometimes not for awhile. And often having a permanent understanding of that isn’t always the case, either. It’s not abnormal. People grow and change.”
He shook his head. “I’m afraid if Barbie knew that she’d be disappointed in me.”
“Why would she be?”
He shrugged. “I don’t know.”
“Is it that maybe you’re disappointed in yourself, Ken?”
He raised his head a little now, looking up at you through wet lashes. “Maybe?” His voice cracked fully and he began sobbing, holding his face in his hands.
You placed your hands on either side of his face. “Ken, my love, can I see your face?”
He kept his face hidden, his shoulders shaking a little.
“Why are you feeling disappointed in yourself? You ever had a lot happen in a short amount of time. I’m not sure how quickly time works in Barbieland, but here, things can take a long time. A really long time, sometimes. And that’s normal.”
He pulled his hands away a little and you took the opportunity to pull them away from his face, his blue eyes oceans of emotion.
“Hey there, handsome. Now I can see you,” You cooed, and you got the tiniest glint of a smile from him.
He sniffed again. “I’m just worried.”
“About?”
“I’m so scared to lose you.” His voice cracked again. “I feel like I’ll stop breathing or something. And I feel like somehow that’s…wrong? Like I feel as though Barbie would say it is wrong.”
“Would Barbie say that? And even if she did, why would that matter, my sweet?”
Ken pondered this for a moment. “I’ve tried so hard to move on, and I have moved on, and it’s because you make me feel…insane things, y/n.” He exhaled those last words out as if doing so would nail them into you, that you’d understand without him having to explain further.
You nodded, cradling his face in your hands, and he automatically kissed your palm before nuzzling his face into it like always.
“You make me feel like I am someone,” he whispered, gulping before finishing his thought, “you make me feel whole.”
You leaned your forehead into his, and he lowered his eyes again, embracing the feeling of you close to him, watching as his tears dripped off his face and onto his lap.
“You are someone, Ken. And even if you don’t know exactly who that is yet, that’s okay. You’re someone to me.”
Ken sobbed and buried his face in your neck again, and you wrapped your arms around his neck, tracing little shapes into his back, something you had recently learned made him feel relaxed.
His breathed shuddered as he tried to regain control over his tears. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorr-“
“No, Ken, you don’t get to be sorry. You have nothing to be sorry for.”
“I don’t know where I belong without you.”
“You don’t have to,” You soothed. “I’m here, and I like feeling like I belong to you.”
He pulled back now, your eyes gazing into his as he searched you for any sign of dishonesty.
“You feel like you belong to me?” He breathed.
“I feel like we belong to each other.” You pushed some hair that had fallen into his face.
“Yeah?” A light breeze danced around the two of you, and you brushed away a fresh set of Ken’s tears that appeared when you nodded.
His crying felt less from a source of pain and more as a form of relief now, and you held him close to you and pressed kisses onto his hair as he experienced his release.
“I’ve felt so stressed for so long,” he revealed.
“About us?”
“Yes. That you’ll get tired of me, and I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
He sat up a little straighter and you leaned forward to kiss him, and he noticed right away and closed the distance himself as he crashed his lips into yours. The saltiness from his tears mixed with the taste of him, and you kissed him harder, wanting him to feel how much you felt for him.
“I love you, Ken,” You told him earnestly. “I want to be with you, and I want you to want to be with me.”
“I want nothing more than to be with you,” he replied, his lips still pressing into yours with sweet kisses.
“You’ll figure out everything that you’re wanting to, I promise. It takes time. And I’ll be with you every step of the way.”
Ken held you and sighed into your mouth, hand resting on the back of your head to keep your mouth against his, kissing you passionately.
“How can I make sure you feel loved?” You breathed in-between his kisses.
“Anything you do makes me feel loved.”
You leaned your full bodyweight into him, encouraging him to lay back on the towel. The sun had begun to set, and the sea breeze tickled your skin a little as it began to cool down outside.
You straddled Ken’s torso and leaned over to look into his eyes. He breathed deeply and rested his hands on yours that had placed themselves on his strong chest. You began kissing him down his neck and collarbone, then down his sternum and abs, taking your time once you neared his lower torso area and his muscles clenched at your touch as he let out a soft moan.
You tugged his shorts down enough to pull his member free and began slowly began pumping him as he hadn’t fully hardened yet, and one of his long arms reached to grip onto your wrist as it worked him up and down to hold onto you, his eyes closing.
“What would you like, Ken?”
“I just want to love on you.” He hardened fully then and began to sit up, but your hand pressed onto his chest and instead he propped himself up on his forearms.
“Why don’t I make love to you?” You asked, moving around so you could peel off your bikini bottoms and toss them aside.
Ken smiled, eyes red from crying but shining with love for you, and pulled you closer to him. “I would love that.” He reached for your cover-up that you hadn’t taken off all day and pulled it over your head.
You smiled and positioned yourself over his cock but he reached his hand underneath to rub between your folds. “Let me get you ready first.” He sat up more now so you could hold onto his shoulders as he pressed two fingers into you and you shuddered, Ken pressing his other hand into your lower back to help you balance. “Ride my fingers, y/n,” he whispered, his eyes not leaving yours as you slowly began moving around on them, moaning.
“That’s so good,” he praised as your hips moved around and his digits sunk in deeper. “Fuck my fingers, my beautiful girl.” He curled his knuckles a little when he was deep enough to hit your g-spot and you fell into him a little, Ken’s breathing picking up with yours as you whimpered against his gentle pleasuring of you.
“My beautiful girl,” he breathed, and your arms wrapped around his neck to hold him closer to you.
“Ken,” you moaned, “I wanna pleasure you.”
He kissed down your neck. “Soon.”
“Now, please,” you almost whined. “Please, Ken.”
“Mmmmm,” he moaned against your pulse point and relented, pulling his fingers from you, and you reached down to position his cock underneath you, slowly lowering yourself on him.
Ken choked out a loud moan and shuddered, gripping your waist.
“Lay down, my good boy,” you cooed. “Let me pleasure you.”
Ken almost collapsed back onto the towel, holding your hand in his as he watched you circle your hips slowly with him inside you, both of you moaning loudly at the sensation.
“Y/n,” he begged, “please, please move.”
“I’m getting to it,” you smiled, setting your free hand on his abs to steady yourself as you began bucking your hips. Ken’s head fell back and his body tensed as you slowly fucked him, wanting him to feel everything in soft, smooth motions.
His hands flew to grip your hips when you began fucking him up and down, and his hips flew up to meet yours a couple of times, making you cry out.
“Let me hold you,” Ken said, and you nodded as he sat up and wrapped your legs around his waist then held you as he fucked up into you.
You both held each other and moaned almost incoherently to each other, and your body felt like it was exploding in fireworks, every touch from Ken electric. Ken’s heart sang every time you made a noise when he thrust into you, when you gripped him, when you called his name, your touch like a healing potion.
You came unexpectedly, your climax hitting you hard and you stiffened, shivering as Ken held you tight and fucked you through it, then stared deeply into your eyes before kissing you while he rode out his own.
You sat intertwined, gasping into each other, the only other sound being the waves crashing behind you, the sun having set during your love-making.
You saw the reflection of the moon in Ken’s eyes as he brushed hair out of your face, and smiled. He smiled back.
“Whatever we go through, we’ll get through it together, okay?” You said, and Ken confirmed his response by pulling your lips into his one more time.

Shine A Light Into The Wreckage
Chapter Five - The Hard Deck
Bob Floyd was many things. He was an instructor at Top Gun, a lover of Tolkien books and a huge fan of coffee. But Bob was also clumsy. That was how he bumped into the table, knocking her drink onto her notebook. He felt bad about it. Bad enough to come back time and time again, in the hopes that she would be there. And, every time, she is. Each time looking a little worse for wear. It doesn't take Bob long to realise he has to save her.

Warnings: Abusive relationship! Abusive hair pulling! Abusive choking! Forceful sex! Domestic abuse! Seriously don't read if you're affect by stuff like this! Talks of stalking (but in a non serious manner), talks of non consensual groping

"Are you guys going to The Hard Deck tonight?"
Bob turned at the voice behind him. He'd scanned the room for her when he first walked into the café, but she wasn't there.
He couldn't hide the surprise on his face as he turned around. There she was, in a black pencil skirt and a navy blue blouse. She wasn't in her usual sweater and Bob couldn't help but miss it. "You wanna come with?" He offered.
Her smile was tight, barely a smile at all as she looked at him. She wasn't going to ask this soon, was gonna wait until she needed an escape.
But the need for an escape came sooner than she expected. "I'd like that," she said, adjusting her grip on her bag. "What time should I meet you there?"
"Seven, at the earliest," Bob answered as he payed for his coffee and took it from Mariana.
Her smile grew. "I'll be there at seven thirty." She ordered her drink, silently waiting for it. As desperate as Bob was for conversation, she didn't initiate it, staying quiet as Mariana passed her the hazelnut oat latte and rushing off.
Not staying for her work break, like Bob was used to seeing. He followed her out of the café and climbed into the truck, watching from his mirrors as she walked down the street.
He headed back to Top Gun, three coffees on the seat beside him and reader to force Natasha and Jake out to the Hard Deck.
But he couldn't help but wonder, why not stay in the café for lunch? Why break her usual pattern of behaviour? Bob had been on the coffee runs for the two previous days, and each time she was there for her lunch break, sitting as she wrote. Each time Bob spent at least five minutes with her before he had to get back to Top Gun.
Bob didn't know that she didn't get a lunch break that day, not when she had been over half an hour late for work. She didn't mean to be over half an hour late, but Ken had woken up in a mood and using makeup to cover up bruises took time.
There was only so much her long sleeves could hide, and she couldn't wear a scarf all day.
It was the first time Ken had utterly lost control like that, the first time she was forced to use makeup to cover a bruise. She had do doubt that she hadn’t done a good job this first time around, that some of the bruising around her neck was still visible. Just as long as it didn't raise suspicion.
It was the slowest work day of her life. Yet, the end of the work day came much sooner than she would have liked. She packed up everything slowly and was the last one out of the office. Her walk down the street to her apartment was slow, her feet refusing to take her any faster.
She pushed her way into the apartment. The moment she opened the door to the apartment, the smell hit her. Cheap beer, cigarette smoke and piss. Fuck, it was poker night.
Several voices filled the room at once. "Hey Barbie," said several of Ken's friends. She looked towards the table full of Ken's friends and offered a weak smile. A shiver ran through her body when one of them whistled.
She walked past the poker game, walking straight into the bedroom. Ken had left the door open, and the smell of smoke had ruined her sheets. She let out a breath as she shut the door and dropped her bag onto her bed.
It wasn't the first time that Ken had hosted poker night and not warned her. Actually, it was a regular occurrence. She sat on her bed and pulled off her shoes. Even with the door shut, she could hear their shouts and their laughter. It only served as further motivation to get to The Hard Deck.
As she unzipped her skirt, her bedroom door flew open. She let out a small gasp, keeping her skirt tightly held to her body. "Ken, what the hell?" She cried as he stared at her. The way he was staring at her, like he was a starving wolf.
"You should come and say hello to everyone, Barbie," he said as he pushed the door shut. He strode over to her drawers and dug through them, pulling out a too short, baby blue and white skirt. He threw it onto the bed and pulled out a tank top.
'Come and say hello' wasn’t literal when it came to Ken's friends. It was an excuse for them to cop a feel and eye her up. "I'm not doing this," she said and threw the skirt towards him.
"Barbie-"
"No!" She insisted as she grabbed her favourite pair of jeans. "I'll go and get you some more beer but I don't want the guys touching me, okay?"
Ken let out something of a laugh. She'd put her foot down with him only once before and he had pushed her against the counter top and threatened worse. She hadn't dared since. But, if he was getting beer out of it, he'd let her get away with it. "C'mere," he said as he strode over to the door.
She tried not to come across as reluctant as she walked over to him. His touch was gentle as he stroked her cheek and pressed his lips against her own, his tongue down her throat.
He left her to it and she quickly got dressed. She pulled on her jeans and the tank top that Ken had thrown her (Ken was an asshole, sure, but the tank top was cute). She pulled on her jacket, grabbed her keys and headed out.
She couldn't stop herself from shivering as she walked to The Hard Deck. The sun was setting as she made her way. This was a bad idea. This was a bad idea. This was a bad idea. But, as The Hard Deck came into view, she realised it was too late to turn back.
She sucked in a breath, steadying her nerves, and walked in.
***
"Come on, Bob," Jake Seresin muttered as he chalked yo the pool cue. "When if your little friend getting here?"
Bob surveyed the faces of everyone that walked into The Hard Deck. His eyes moved across everyone, but none of them were her. "She'll be here," he said as Natasha went to get another beer. "I know it."
Maybe five minutes later she walked into The Hard Deck. For a moment she stood by the door, trying to look for Bob. Sweet Bob. Bob who would never ask for her to let his friends have a grope fest. She pulled her jacket tighter and walked further in.
Bob spotted her before she spotted him. "Hey!" He called as he walked around people trying desperately to get to her. Hey eyes lit up when she saw him, and Bob moved somebody he recognised from the class he caught at Top Gun out of his way. "You made it."
"I made it," she responded, releasing a breath. Her eyes moved to the Styrofoam cup in his hands. "What're you drinking?"
"Just water," he replied and finished what was in his cup. "Let's get you a drink."
Bob didn't expect her to grab his hand. But she did. As he led her over to the bar she kept a hold of her hand. "Penny!" He called over the noise. As soon as she recognised him, the woman behind the bar brought over another cup full of water. "What would you like?"
She told Bob her order and he put it on his tab. With their drinks in the hands, Bob led her over to the pool table, over to the pool table. There were eyes on her as Bob brought her to two of his fellow aviators. Well, everybody in this bar looked like an aviator.
"These are my friends," Bob said as he gestured to the two playing pool. "Natasha and Jake."
She gave them a wave and introduced herself as she sat in the stool that Bob had been occupying. Not that she knew. Bob didn't say anything, either. He just wore a blushy smile as he watched her shake Natasha's hand.
But then it was Jakes turn. He held the pool cue as he sauntered up to her, that usual flirty smile on his face. "Hey there," he said, grin almost sly. "I'm Jake."
She took a moment to sip a drink, took a moment to answer him. But the she placed her drink on the table behind her (Bob was sure to keep an eye on it) and turned her attention to Jake.
"We've met," she said , trying to paint a flirty smile that matched Jakes onto her face. "Good to see you again, Hangman." She held her hand towards him. "Try not to get me kicked out this time."
Jake laughed as he shook her hand. "Very sorry about that, miss. But you're here with Baby On Board, now. You're not going to get kicked out."
Bob's smile dropped from his face at that. His fists were clenched at his sides as Jake laughed. She turned to him, her eyebrows furrowed. "Baby On Board?" She asked and picked up her drink.
"It's not Baby On Board," he muttered beneath his breath.
The way Jake was looking at him, it was like they were back in Top Gun together. "What is it then, Baby On Board?" He challenged as he stepped towards him.
Bob wasn't a fighter. Natasha knew it, Jake knew it, and she knew it. He picked up his water from beside her own drink and finished it one. Bob wasn't going to challenge, but he wasn't going to let his head fall in defeat.
Suddenly she was on her feet, getting between herself and Jake. "If he says it's not Baby On Board, then it's not Baby On Board," she said, levelling him with a glare.
Holding his hands up, Jake backed off. Things fell normal for a little while. She spoke to Natasha and Jake as she drank (Bob happily got her another drink when she ran out), the three of them learning about each other.
When Natasha beat Jake, she gave her pool cue to Bob while Jake offered his to hers. But she shook her head and Jake went to play again (but Natasha took it off of him to play against Bob instead).
"So," Jake began as she began her third drink. "Baby Bob tells us you've got a boyfriend."
"Don't call him that, dude," she said as she held her beer between her fingers.
Jake raised his eyebrows at her. "Don't call him your boyfriend or don't call him Baby Bob?"
She glared.
"Anyway, Bob said you've got a boyfriend."
By the time she replied to him, she had nearly finished her drink. "So what?"  She spat. She was trying to be nice, but any mention of Ken immediately changed her mood.
"So, if you've got a boyfriend, What're you doing here with him?"
Jake was an asshole. That much was clear to her. "Excuse me," she said and hopped off of the stool.
Bob watched, completely missing his turn as she walked out of The Hard Deck. He thrust the pool cue into Jakes arms and ran after her. "Wait!" He called, moving around people to get to her. "Wait!"
When Bob made it outside, he found her sitting on the sand. In the doorway, Bob watched her for only a moment. There was a slight breeze, but she had left her jacket inside. But she stayed sitting there, keeping her arms wrapped around herself.
Slowly, Bob approached.
"Hey," he called and she ever so slightly turned her head towards him. Bob sat on the sand beside her, his long legs stretched out in front of him. "Are you okay?”
She sniffed and nodded her head. "You told Hangman about my boyfriend."
He breathed in and nodded. There were several excuses he could have come up with, but he didn’t want to. He didn't want to lie to her.
And he didn't have to.
"I asked you to come here tonight because I needed to get away." Her fingers dug into the sand. "When we started dating, everything was perfect. For the first few years, everything was perfect. And then we moved here together and everything changed."
She never would have admitted this sober, but she kept going. "We've lived her for a year. It's been a year of him..." she couldn't finish the sentence.
Bob could guess. When she pulled her hair back, revealing her neck, he noticed. The lights from The Hard Deck that illuminated the beach were so bright, it was impossible to miss. Slowly, Bob lifted his hand, gently touching the skin on her neck. "Did... did he do that?"
She didn't answer, couldn't answer. Her hands frantically patted her pockets. "I left my phone inside," she mumbled and stood up.
Bob stood with her. His gentle touch stopped her from running back into The Hard Deck. "Please," he whispered. "Talk to me."
She shook her head and wrapped her arms around him, burying her face against his shoulder. "Another time, Bobby. Maybe."
She pulled away, but she didn't move away. She couldn't, not with the way he was staring down at her. Bob was still as her hands travelled to his shoulders. She didn't placed them on his neck, didn't play with his hair, it would have been too intimate.
She pressed her lips to his, kissed him. Why the fuck did she kiss him? But, even as the doubt went through her mind, she didn't pull away. And Bob didn't push her away.
He didn't want to.
But he didn't move. As much as he wanted to hold her waist, he couldn't. She still had a boyfriend, even if she was the one kissing him.
She pulled away and released a breath. "I'm sorry," she said, forehead pressed against his chest. "I just..."
She moved away from Bob, practically running back to The Hard Deck. She pushed her way inside and ran around the other patrons, getting back to Phoenix and Hangman.
"Hey," Natasha said as she moved last them. "Everything okay?"
She swiped her phone from the table and shoved it into her pockets.
As she turned to leave, as she moved away from the pool table, she smacked straight into someone. "Fuck," she said as familiar arms wrapped around her.
She looked up at the person holding her. Her heart sank. "Sneaking off?"
"Ken."
She could feel Natasha and Hangman watching as he squeezed her. The smile on his face was supposed to be sweet, not sinister. But it really was sinister. Ken kept wearing that smile as he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "Get your ass outside. Now."
She couldn't even turn around to say goodbye to Natasha and Jake as Ken moved her along. Embarrassment filled her as she walked past the other pilots, as Ken walked her outside, feeling like a prisoner and their prison guard. Because, really, what else was she?
The moment she stepped outside, her eyes met blue ones. The way Bob was looking at her, she couldn't stand to keep looking at him. But he kept watching, watching as Ken marched her towards the parking lot with his hand on her shoulder, grip bruising.
It fucking terrified Bob.
Scared him to the point where he had to follow. He couldn't leave her at this man's mercy, not with what he had seen.

Ryan!Ken with a princess!Barbie reader maybe? Please?
Oh this is such a cute idea <3
......
In Barbieland, princesses were usually seen as figures of fiction in movies and books.
But you're a very real doll who lived on the outskirts of town, in a beautiful castle with a few Ken Knights (Kenights?) at your service and talking animals you befriended.
You enjoyed their company, although you do love seeing the faces of the other Barbies and Kens.
In fact, you hoped to see them more often.
So one day, you announced a ball at your palace, having invitations delivered to every dreamhouse.
You weren't sure if anybody would show up. You did live far, far away, after all...
And yet, so many Barbies came in droves, wearing their best dresses and tiaras, accompanied by their Kens who wore dashing outfits fitting for the fantasy setting you provided.
Soon the royal ball was in full swing, and everyone was having a grand time.
Well, everyone except....for a certain blond Ken.
You noticed this one in particular was following his Barbie around like a lost puppy.
Of all the Kens, he looked the most handsome in your eyes. His hair, outfit, and features were flawless in every way.
Why, you would've easily mistaken him for a prince!
Yet he was behaving more like a pauper at this rate, as he kept trying dance with her, only to be brushed off as she was pulled out of his reach by one of her friends.
Obviously, you believed in Barbies valuing friendships over relationships, although this was rather...difficult to watch.
Eventually he gave up, standing alone in the corner with an empty plastic glass in-hand, looking forlorn as everyone else danced to the gentle music.
You frowned at this display, not wanting anybody to feel lonely in your palace.
So you decided to go over to him.
"You look lonesome, dear Ken...what's wrong?"
At first, he doesn't realize you're actually talking to him...but when he does, he blushes and fumbles as he tries to respectfully greet you.
"O-Oh I'm...I'm good, your Highness. Wonderful ball, you're hosting, by the way." He kisses your hand, although when he looks up, the sadness in his eyes is even more apparent up-close.
"Now..you know better than to lie to a princess." You lightly tease. "Where's your date? Isn't that her over there?"
Seeing you gesture to Stereotypical Barbie, his confident front falters, but the second you look back at him, he pretends to be surprised.
"Oh there she is!! I was worried I lost her." He waves, hoping she'd look over at him just once.
Yet she didn't even spare him a glance, and he puts his hand down, becoming very upset as he notices Simu!Ken asking her for a dance.
Even though he was turned down, too, it still stung like a b-
"Would you care for a dance, Ken?"
The question turns his whole mood around, as he gawks at you, unable to believe his own ears. "Y-You're asking...me?"
"Well..it should be the man who asks the lady, traditionally speaking." You chuckle. "But since you only know Beach, I'll give you another chance."
"....o-oh right. Yes. Okay-" He clears his throat, setting aside his cup before he offers his hand to you, gazing into your eyes with renewed confidence. "May I have this dance, Princess Barbie?"
You pretend to swoon, smiling. "I thought you'd never ask."

I JUSTTT got done watching the barbie movie and omgg pleasee do one where lyla was just being a lil shit and made barbie-esque miguel and y/n dolls and basically selling them around the hq like sum sorta merch so like one day peter was playing with them and making the dolls kiss 🥹 (reader definitely loves it hehe and you already know how miguel is gonna react smhh 🙄🙄)
hi i haven’t watched barbie at all so i held off from doing this but since it is just barbie dolls here ya go:
lyla turning you and miguel into barbie/ken dolls
lyla paraded around the headquarters, proudly displaying the barbie-esque dolls she had created in the likeness of miguel and yourself. with exaggerated features and flashy outfits, the dolls became an unexpected sensation, catching the attention of many.
peter couldn't resist joining in on the playful chaos. so, he found himself with the miniature versions of you and miguel, making the dolls kiss as a mischievous grin spread across his face.
miguel, being the stoic and serious individual he was, found himself growing annoyed by the spectacle. he crossed his arms, a slight scowl forming on his face, as he watched peter’s antics.
"peter, could you please stop that?" miguel’s voice carried a note of irritation, his tone firm.
peter’s eyes widened as he looked up at miguel, realizing the effect his actions were having on him. he quickly pulled the dolls apart, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "sorry, migs. i didn't mean to bother you."
meanwhile, you couldn't help but find the situation amusing. the sight of peter playing around with the dolls and making them kiss brought a mischievous glimmer to your eyes. you stifled a laugh, finding their interactions endearing.
“miguel, it's all in good fun," you chimed in, trying to ease his tension. "i think it's adorable. plus, it's just a silly doll, it doesn't mean anything."
miguel let out a sigh, his annoyance slowly fading as he realized the lighthearted nature of the situation. he glanced at you, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "i suppose you're right. it’s just... unexpected."
you reached out, gently squeezing his arm. "i know it's not your style, miguel, but seeing peter playing around with those dolls, it just brings some levity to our lives. sometimes we all need a silly moment to lighten the mood."
miguel’s resistance melted away as he looked into your eyes, sensing your genuine enjoyment. "alright, i’ll try to embrace the silliness. but only because it brings you joy."
with that, peter couldn't help but let out a cheer, the tension in the room dissipating. the three of you found yourselves caught up in laughter, the unexpected turn of events making for a lighthearted and memorable moment at the headquarters.
although miguel may have initially been annoyed, the love and happiness that radiated from you made it all worth it. and in the end, the playful scene with the mini miguel and you dolls served as a reminder to appreciate the lighter side of life, even in the midst of chaos and responsibility.

authors note: here’s part 3! so so sorry for the long wait i’ve been super busy lately but i hope yall like it 🙏 also those who sent in requests I DO SEE THEM and i will get to them as soon as i can. which may be awhile but i will get to them pinky swear 🤙
Tumblr media
It was once again another normal day in Barbieland. It had been a few weeks now since that party at the beach, and you and Ken had been getting closer ever since.
Maybe a bit too close..
Whatever. It wasn’t like you had planned to develop a not-so-little crush on him. Besides, you two were friends! That was enough.
Or maybe not..
You shake your head in protest, trying to silence the thoughts inside. Today was going to be fun, and your stupid newfound feelings for him weren’t going to get in the way of that.
You walk over to your pink vanity, smoothing out your hair and slipping on a cute sundress.
You knew you’d never actually admit your feelings towards Ken. However affectionate he was towards you, you knew he would only ever see you as a friend. After all - though it hadn’t been reciprocated - the only Barbie he ever had eyes for was Blondie.
But she was gone now..
You snap out of your thoughts once more, feeling a sort of guilt.
You can’t think these things! Today is supposed to be fun. Innocent. Just having a good time. With your friend.
Today you and Ken had planned to get ice cream together, and then head back to the dreamhouse for a fun movie night. You had been anxiously awaiting it since the last time you had seen Ken.
Which was yesterday.
But hey, could anyone blame you?
You’re pacing around the room excitedly when you hear a voice from down below.
“Hey Barbie!”
You turn your head to find Ken looking up at you from down on the street, and the thumping of your heart intensifies even more.
“Hi Ken!”
Gracefully, you float down to the ground, maintaining your perfect appearance.
“You ready?” he asks excitedly, and you nod.
“Mhm! We’ll take the car.”
“Really?!”
“Mhm.”
Ken opens the car door for you like the gentleman he is, then walks around and gets in the passenger’s side. You pull out of the driveway, and on the way to the ice cream shop, you turn to notice Ken staring at you.
“What is it?” You laugh.
“Oh, nothing,” he replies, smiling to himself.
You believed him, but the attention made your stomach churn. He couldn’t have been staring at you because - no! That was impossible. Which means he must have been staring at you for some other reason - possibly not a good one. You frantically look into the rearview mirror, checking for any imperfections. Was there something stuck in your teeth? Was your hair out of place? Why had he been staring like that? It must’ve been something. It was then when you heard Ken yell.
“Barbie, look out!”
In your haze of insecurity you had taken your eyes off the road for too long, swerving off the street and into a nearby fire hydrant.
“Ohh..” you groan, covering your face with your hands. You’re so embarrassed, you want to cry.
“Hey, Barbie, it’s okay..” Ken tries to console you.
“Mmm..” you cry into your hands, while fireman and mechanic Barbie arrive on the scene trying to clean up your mess.
“Aww, Barbie, don’t cry!” Mechanic Barbie says. “It’s really no biggie!”
“Yeah!” Fireman Barbie adds.
“See?” Ken smiles sympathetically. “It’s okay.”
“Are either of you hurt? Should I call for Doctor Barbie?” Fireman Barbie asks.
“No, we’re alright, thanks,” Ken replies, while you wipe tears from your eyes.
“Okay, good. Do you guys need a ride?” Says Mechanic Barbie, and Ken looks at you waiting for your answer.
“Uh .. that’s ok, we’ll walk, if that’s alright with you, Ken,” you sniffle.
“Sure is,” he smiles, before abruptly getting out of the car and walking around to the driver’s side, and holding out his hand to you.
You look up at him with nervous eyes, taking his hand and opening the car door. You step out, and he hugs you.
“I’m sorry,” you sob. “Today was supposed to be fun, and I ruined it!”
“You haven’t ruined anything, Barbie. C’mon, let’s get to that ice cream shop,” Ken comforts.
“Don’t worry Barbie, we’ll have the car fixed up and back at your dreamhouse by the end of the day,” Mechanic Barbie says reassuringly.
“Thanks,” you sniffle, your face bearing a small smile.
Ken gently motions for the two of you to get going, and you follow, walking down the Barbieland boardwalk. You arrive at the ice cream shop and order. Ken gets Cotton Candy flavored, and you pick out your favorite flavor.
You’re sitting at a picnic table outside the shop, peacefully enjoying your ice cream when you look up to see Ken giving you that stare again. You’re about to say something about it when suddenly you hear a voice from behind you.
“Lookin good, Barbie!”
You turn around to see enemy Ken, sitting a few tables away, looking at you with a smirk that was far from polite and a gaze that made you shiver with anxiety. Jesus Christ, could this day get any worse? You roll your eyes, ignoring him, and turning back around to face your Ken, you find him glaring at the other.
“I said, looking good, Bar-“
You hold your breath, and Ken stands up.
“Back off, Ken! Or I’ll beach you off!”
You look up at him in both shock and admiration, and the other Ken goes quiet.
“Come on, Barbie,” Ken says gruffly, and you follow. Walking back to your dreamhouse, neither of you say a word. Ken maintained an angry frown the entire walk, and you looked down at your feet sadly, fearing you had done something to cause Ken’s demeanor. Had you done something wrong? Was he mad you didn’t just deal with Ken yourself? Was it the car? It felt like you had been messing up everything today. It’d be no wonder if he was angry with you.
You arrive at home and he regains a little bit of his happy energy, or Kenergy, as he had lately been calling it. But, he still seemed off, and sitting down on your couch, there is still a bit of an uncomfortable tension between you two.
Before your movie, Ken asked if you wanted to make some popcorn, and with your approval got up to do so. When he returned, you couldn’t help but ask.
“Ken?”
“Yes?”
“Did I do something wrong?” you ask somberly. You watch as his eyes fill with sadness and care.
“What? No, Barbie, why would you think that?” He softly asks.
“You just seemed pretty angry after what happened with Ken, and I mean, I get it, I already screwed up crashing the car, and you shouldn’t have to fight my battles for me-“
“Barbie. You did nothing wrong. I’m sorry I made you think so. You’re right, I was angry. I am angry, but not at you. Never at you.”
You blush at his sweetness, and he continues.
“Listen, I was never mad about the car or anything else you did. When Ken did what he did, it just .. it really.. it pissed me off!”
“Ken!” You giggle.
“Sorry,” he smiles softly, before regaining his frown. “Listen Barbie, you don’t.. you don’t deserve to be treated like that. And I know, who am I to talk, I’m no better-“
“Ken. You are. You are better.”
“Thanks, Barbie.”
The two of you sit there quietly for a minute, before you hear a mumble of something come from him.
“You know, it doesn’t help that I..”
He instantly regretted even letting that small bit of info come out of his mouth, praying you hadn’t heard him, but you must have.
“You.. you what, Ken?” you almost whisper.
“N-nothing,” he says, turning away from you.
“No, tell me!”
“Never mind, it doesn’t matter.”
“Yes it does.”
He puts his face in his hands and lets out a sigh.
“Barbie..” he says nervously.
“What is it. Please, you’re freaking me out!”
“Barbie.. I don’t, I don’t know how to say this.”
“Just try your best,” you say, your face genuine.
Another sigh.
“Barbie.. you know about how I used to be with Barbie, right?”
“Of course,” you swallow, trying to hide your bitterness. “Everyone knows that.” You knew what he was about to say, that he missed her, that he had simply been using you as a substitute after she left, that he-
“When I was with her.. I always felt like..”
“Like what, Ken?” your voice shakes.
“Like.. I was with her, just because I had to be. Like I just.. needed her. But not.. wanted? I don’t know. It doesn’t make sense. Whenever I was with her.. I was just kind of there. I don’t know. I felt like I was there just to make her happy, and not really myself. I’m not sure I ever really needed her, I just needed her to.. need me. Does that make more sense? I don’t know..” he shakes his head.
“I think so,” you say quietly.
“With you.. it’s.. it’s..”
You look up at him, confused.
“It’s different.”
“What do you mean, different?”
“It’s just,” he continues. “With you I don’t feel like I need to do anything. I can just enjoy being with you. I’m not just doing it to do it. I do it, because it makes me happy. And.. I just hope.. it makes you happy too?”
“Of course it does,” you laugh sweetly.
“Good,” he laughs. “I guess what I’m trying to say is..”
“What, Ken?”
His voice goes quiet, he’s mumbling and you can barely make out what he’s saying. “I think.. I think I..”
“You think you what, Ken?”
“I think I..”
“I think I like you.”
It’s so quiet you can barely make it out, but you do.
“You like me?”
“Mhm,” he nods.
“Like.. as more than friends?” you ask, bewildered.
“Yeah.”
You process his words and suddenly everything clicks into place. The kind words, the lingering stares and angry protectiveness.
“Look, I totally get if you don’t feel the same way, especially after everything I did-“
“Ken.”
“Yeah?”
“I like you too.”
“You.. you do?”
“Mhm.” You cup his face in your hands and give him a quick peck on the lips, and he blushes furiously.
For a moment the two of you sit there, smiling and content, before he asks,
“Soo.. does this make us boyfriend and girlfriend now?”
“I think it does,” you smile.
“Cool.”

Ken walks into the large bright Barbie dream house, only to find you and Barbie laughing and talking. His heart stank when he saw you laugh at Barbie’s jokes, the way your eyes sparkled when looking at her, he felt jealousy, envy for the very first time
He never thought you would look at anyone else that way, he thought he was the only one who made you laugh like that, made you giggle and smile that bright and loud, it made him question your guys relationship and was it really like how he thought it was?
He tried to brush off his feelings, reminding himself that you are free to be friends with anyone you chose to be with. But as the days passed, Ken found himself struggling to hide his emotions. Every time he saw you and barbie together, it felt like a punch to his heart slowly feeling replaced day by day.
Sitting alone in the dimly lit room, Ken pondered over his feelings. He realized that his jealousy stemmed from his fear of losing you to someone else. He had always believed that he was the one who made you smile the most, and now he wondered if he was genuinely being replaced by barbie.
Unable to bear the weight of his emotions any longer, Ken decided to confront you. He found you in your bedroom, arranging your collection of accessories. Taking a deep breath, he mustered the courage to speak.
"Y/n, can we talk?" Ken's voice wavered slightly, betraying his inner turmoil.
You turned around, your eyes filled with concern. "Of course, Ken. What's on your mind?"
The way you said his name made him all fuzzy inside, he always felt at peace, at warmth with you and he was realizing that the more you talk to Barbie, the more he is getting replaced which meant he wouldn’t be able to speak to you again, he wouldn’t be able to hear you talk to him and he didn’t want that
So deep in thought ken hesitated for a moment before pouring out his feelings. He admitted his jealousy and insecurity, explaining how it hurt to see you with barbie. He confessed that he feared being replaced in your heart. you listened attentively, your expression softening with each word. When Ken finished, there was a moment of silence before you spoke.
"Ken, I understand why you feel this way, but I want you to know that you're irreplaceable to me. You've always been there for me, and our connection is special. Barbie is a friend, and nothing more. You hold a special place in my heart, and that will never change."
Ken felt a weight lifted off his shoulders as he absorbed Your words. He realized that his fears had been unfounded, and he had let jealousy cloud his judgment. He apologized for doubting your bond and thanked you dearly for understanding.
From that day forward, Ken vowed to trust your guys relationship. He learned to appreciate the friendships you formed with others and understood that it didn't diminish what you guys shared. Together you guys continued to embark on adventures, your love and bond stronger than ever before.
BarbieLand became a place of love, laughter, and understanding, where jealousy was conquered by trust, and hearts grew even closer.
