I know we all love Ryan and Blake, but I stumbled on this 2017 interview in Variety and now I REALLY get why they're friends and why the Kelce's are all a perfect extended family.

Read the whole thing if you can, but they are all the same kind of people. The ones who take the talents they know they have and work their asses off to just be a part of the conversation and end up being brilliant at that AND so much more without ever losing who they are and their appreciation for what they have in the process.

And they don't lie about working to be broadly appealing and enjoying the trappings of celebrity, while somehow retaining their openness and innate kindness - even as people accuse them of being the opposite.

Hollywood has been nervous about introducing same-sex couplings in superhero movies, out of fear that gargantuan tentpoles could alienate audiences in countries less tolerant of gay rights. “That’s not really a problem for us, because we were banned in China,” Reynolds notes. “We were rated ‘F–k you!’ in China.” But judging by the illegal downloads, “Deadpool” was just as popular there asanywhere else. “We might have been the first billion-dollar R-rated movie,” Reynolds muses.

In that spirit, Reynolds has big plans for Deadpool’s next act, which will shoot in 2017 for a 2018 release. (The first movie’s director, Tim Miller, left the sequel over creative differences and will be replaced by David Leitch.) “The budget is not going to be phenomenally bigger,” Reynolds says, but then takes it back. “Who knows? Maybe the budget will be bigger — anything can happen.”

He’s not worried about being typecast as a comic-book hero. “I would love to play Deadpool for as long as they would let me play Deadpool,” he says. “We have outlines and stories for a number of different films.” He envisions a standalone movie with Deadpool and Wolverine — although that’s news to Jackman.

“I’m hesitating,” says Jackman, who plans on retiring the Wolverine character this year, “because I could totally see how that’s the perfect fit. But the timing may be wrong.”

Reynolds isn’t giving up. “I have no idea if I can change his mind,” he says. “It’s the audience: I would exclusively exploit that relationship to get Hugh back for another one.”

Reynolds doesn’t act like a mega movie star. He arrives early for his photo shoot and shakes hands with members of the crew. He’s not shy about eye contact with strangers. When I start to feel carsick on the ride back to his hotel, he channels a Lamaze coach, saying, “You’re doing great.”

His compassion makes sense: He grew up in Vancouver suffering from anxiety. “I have three older brothers,” he says. “Our father was tough. He wasn’t easy on anyone. And he wasn’t easy on himself. I think the anxiety might have started there, trying to find ways to control others by trying to control myself. At the time, I never recognized that. I was just a twitchy kid.”

*screams very quietly* Something oh so very tender soft about Fadel drinking himself tipsy-drunk in episode 5 to enable himself to let go of his control and lay himself on his back for Style to make him come undone vs Style drinking himself tipsy-drunk in episode 1 to gather the audacity to pull Fadel flush against him and lay himself back against the bench for Fadel to callously fuck his frustrations out on him.

It's the way Fadel is drinking to let himself go for Style but Style was drinking to force Fadel into frustrated action.

It's the way neither of them were interested in opening up to the other person in episode 1, the way they are purely concerned with their own very separate goals, and the way episode 5 was a coming together of a mutual desire for a deeper and more honest connection.

It's the way Style was utterly selfish in episode 1 and how careful and tender and achingly selfless he is in episode 5.

It's the way their actions may look the same on the surface, but the motivations and the context and the way they now know some of the most intimate and tender spaces of each other's hearts now, that makes their growth and journey so very evident.

Listen I can't think of anything more mortifying than eulogizing a 200 year old dead guy who you're pretty sure cursed you, with only your boyfriend as witness to your gooey, mushy insides all on display (the emotions, not the boils) - BUT THIS IS WHY I ADORE BUCK SO MUCH. He's really just out there, chaotically researching outlaws while his boyfriend sleeps on the couch to be close to him. He's unapologetically adamant that he has been cursed and he will stop at nothing to end the curse. He's in his best suit telling a dead outlaw how important love and companionship and support are and he's flirting with his boyfriend while he does it.

You couldn't PAY ME to behave as unhinged as Buck was this episode but that's what makes us all love Buck so fucking much.

Well one of my favourite techniques is by allowing the target plausible deniability for dressing up

Maybe do a bet and the loser has to wear this dress Or maybe make it real ambiguous and reveal the dress part later

Or maybe make a bigger social event where everyone dresses so cutely so you might as well join in

Be kind, be accepting and patient, love every single step “he” takes and be very vocal about your encouragements

Truly love bomb “him”, make “him” associate feminity with happiness (if that association isn’t there already), make every step made “wonderful and lovely and you’re doing so great and I’m so so proud of you and I just want to gobble you up and and and” don’t give “him” any time to doubt

“He” is adorable and you’re so so so glad “he” is letting you do “his” nails, you know this color would fit so so well, and regardless of how well painted the nails are, they do add so much and make “him” look so good, and we should really try purple next!

That’s another crucial step, once you make progress don’t let it go

You paint his nails? Wonderful! If they get chipped and “he” asks how to remove it als to it for “him and instantly apply a new color

“He” let you do some basic makeup? Make “him” feels so so pretty and set a time next week when we can try the different mascara! And maybe even dress up a little to match the make up!

“He” puts on a skirt for you? Well it’s gorgeous it fits so so well it’s really “his” color! And maybe just take it with you? And if not let’s go clothes shopping next week! I know this lovely second hand store where we can get you so many beautiful clothes for cheap! It’d be a shame if you didn’t own at least one skirt yourself!

And, I kind of forgot what I was saying there! Just get “him” to agree to one minor point, make “him” feel so so loved for it, and always set up the next point, which can be either more of the same or an escalation, but never give her time to doubt, herself always pin down a “next-time” for her to look forward to, and always make her feel so so loved for showing up every time!

People aren’t nearly vocal enough about how they feel towards those closest to them! Be the exception!
