The Karlof vs. Kai scene in e1 is so deeply unserious when you consider it's cus this man who's likely Way Too Large wanted to ask Skylor for her coat, but we don't even see her With a coat it's just a hood. Like okay props to you sister Skylor? But why is Karlof so determined to wear a hood? Over his massive metal helmet? Sir if u didn't wanna get cold why wear the armor.

Character notes: A strong and small man, Karlof is skilled in every area of construction. He earned a degree in aerospace engineering, specializing in aeronautical engineering. He works well with others and values the work he does.

Elemental notes: the element of metal comes comes from the combination of earth and fire, which happened long ago. Not much can phase these elementals, as they're tough and have great heads on their shoulders. They like to stay within large groups of people. There's a long linage of metal masters within an area of Ninjago that's referred to as Metalonia.

Theory time. Do you think Korgran looked/looks up to Karlof, and that's why he speaks in the third person? Because like, in the flashbacks from Korgran's life that we see in MotM his father doesn't speak in third person and doesn't like that Korgran does, so we know not everyone from Metalonia speaks in third person, and it's probably not looked upon favorably based on that interaction (or it could just be Korgran's father's opinion, idk). But Karlof speaks in the third person, and he's probably some sort of hero in Metalonia because of him being an EM, so I think that Korgran started speaking in third person and becoming all barbaric because of Karlof. What do you think?

Named such because it is a shortened version of the word “monochrome”, and the name applies here due to both characters sharing a muted color scheme mostly of gray, black, and white shades.
