Princess Toadstool

So I was thinking of an in lore reason for why Toadstool's name was changed to Peach. Peach was a nickname that people close to her would use but when she became the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom plenty of toads started calling her Peach, which she was fine with, and since the whole kingdom calls her "Peach" other kingdoms started calling her "Peach" so now everyone knows her as Princess Peach and no one knows her as Princess Toadstool.
