These are 4 of my precious babies.

They are 4 of the 5/7 main cast of my original story Animafia. TW for Mafia story stuff

Animafia is a dark drama story that takes place in a modern society, but in the future. Humans have gone extinct due to wars and pollution, but left the chance to new life form, in the form of embryo's mixed with animal DNA. This way, Animans were born. They have been evolving for centuries but in a series of unfortunate events they've grown to fall into humanities vices, including crime, drugs, violence and more.

The story revolves around the cat Animan named Metsume Holiver, who is the only daughter of a wealthy and kind man named Isak Holiver. Metsume grew up in a rich environment, and was sheltered from her dad's work, only interacting with those that lived with her (which to be fair were a lot of people). One day, she receives a phone call during her university history class, and is found with the news that her Father was publicly executed, and found dead on the town square. Metsume finds herself inheriting her father's business, the second biggest criminal organization in New Zoolia, named Animafia.

The story follows her learning how to deal with her new role and also seeking vengeance for her father, all awhile learning the truth behind the people she grew up close to but never knew what they did.

The fact that tonight this movie won 4 awards, one of them being Best Picture – Non-English Language, just shows exactly that it doesn't matter that this movie was racist and offensive, as long as it covers what they believe it's inclusive, they won't care.

Emilia Pérez is the most problematic piece of work I've ever seen in my life. A complete disgrace. It's no surprise that Europeans see us Mexicans this way, but the recognition it's receiving leaves me perplexed. It's an ignorant and insensitive film regarding what millions of Mexicans suffer due to drug trafficking and the fact that the director didn't even bother to investigate the country is disrespectful.

AITA for yelling at my friend on call for complaining about her grades? OK so, I (Ftm, 16) have a friend I'll call karla (F 16) shes very kind and she's also very talented. She does a lot of art stuff and shes won multiple awards. She's in honors and she has nearly all A's.

on the last day of school we where sitting at the lunch table and we where talking about grades and I was quiet cus I didn't get any like "good" grades. The thing is though, I hang out with a lot of smart kids. Everyone at my lunch table doesn't have anything lower than a C except one other person who only has one D+.

now i know grades arent a compitition but Karla was talking about how her grades where "so bad" and how she was so upset that she got- heaven forbid- a B- in math!! How horrible!!

and she kept going on and on about this B-, saying she was a failure and all that that I just got pissed.

i told her to shut up, that besides that B-, her grades where PERFECT. That her academic and creative life was PERFECT. That she doesn't get to call herself a failure cus what does that make EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON AT THAT TABLE?

now i'll admit i do think im kinda jealous of her. And I'm like 95% sure I'm the asshole cus she just left the table afterward. BUt Im just so bitter and tired of hearing of these gifted perfect kids sucking their own dick in front of other people.

There are people out there who put my thoughts about AI in much better words than I ever could and if I would sound like a broken record or a parrot if I gonna repeat what people like Steven Zapata, Karla Ortiz, Sinix or all these other amazing artists already said about it. But I have a message for those who currently think about giving up on Art because of the AIs and the Layoffs that are surrounding it. You know, we humans have something that machines do not have. It's a soul. A wide range of complex emotions. A whole lot of experiences. We Humans are unique in our own way and unique in a sense that we have our own voices. Even if you are young and haven't found your yet, I am sure that you will discover it and that you will be able to make the most beautiful artwork that mankind ever has seen. All you need to do is to believe in yourself, in your skills and in your creativity. Because after all, a artwork is so much more than it being pretty or cool. Even if you draw the most mundane stuff, there is your soul into it. All your emotions. All your experiences. And if that isn't reason enough to stay creative, I don't know what else to tell you! So please, keep creating.

I could ramble so much more about this topic but that would make this post unnessarily long. Instead, let me tell you a little synopsis about this image: Originally I plan to be much softer topicvise with this image. A "Support Human artists" in the background, wholesome and warm colors. Midway through the image I then thought "Nah screw this, I gonna make this image cool. And so this image was done. I think I'm very proud of it because all the practice that I currently put into getting better really shows in my artwork and it makes me truely happy! Hopefully I will get better in drawing elbows better in the future though.

Sugar crops weren’t grown in Kirk’s Wood - it was far too cold for sugarcane, and sugarbeets haven’t been transported into the region - but various flavorful herbs and other plants could be readily found in the nearby woods. During his travels, he encountered a drink made with rice (genmaicha) and greatly enjoyed it. Can't find it most places but if it's on the menu he's ordering it.

Otherwise, the stronger the better - unflavored black tea is what he'll order if boba and genmaicha aren't available; he was advised to try mate but has yet to locate a vendor. Nutty tasting tea is reserved as a comfort drink.

Funny how things work, once you have all these thoughts inside your head, consuming you on a daily basis, not knowing what to do with all these emotions that go unexpressed. And then, like a classic middle-aged woman in therapy, your shrink suggests you "write" to let it all out.

All? It's too much, I could never find a place to start and how to entangle everything that's happening inside my head and put it into words. But figured I had a lot going on, and my words are not too simple or vane, they're mine and therefore are important (to probably no one else but me). So, I dusted the only platform I could think of to do it anonymously and ta-da! Here we are.

I figured everyone who writes stories or thoughts, good, bad, sad, pretty, well-thought or not call themselves "poets" and it felt beautiful to me. Am I good? Hell no. Did I study literature for this? Composition? Again, no. Am I a lousy poet? You bet. But I don't do this for anyone's entertainment or enjoyment. I do this, as Karla would say "to let it all out".

Ideally no one would read this but myself, but if you stumble across this platform and think "yeah dude, sure. Another aspiring writer..." just dismiss me. Particularly with this, I want to exist in the shadows, just let my thoughts out and live my life without this burdening my everyday activities. "Dumpling", you'd call it. That's the word. I come here to "dump" my thoughts and then go on about my day.

But I rambled too much, I tend to do that.
