i just know msby v adlers games r absolutely fucking insane. like not only two karasuno (incapable of being normal) alumni but also the “freak duo” competing against each other??? the two of them were always doing something completely batshit while playing together in highschool, as pro athletes i KNOWWW they r being ridiculous homoerotic rivals. the worst part about them is neither one is surprised. atsumus losing his shit at kageyama, hoshiumi is pissed watching hinata, the two of them arent even phased. bokuto is pissing himself afraid, the crowd are shaking, theyre making gay eye contact across the net. sakusa is about to hit something that definitely isnt a volleyball. ushijima is just there. every karasuno alumni watching isnt even phased by the ridiculous bullshit kagehina is pulling. oikawa is going to burst a blood vessel watching in a disguise from the crowd.

karasuno embodies the Air Nation due to their versatility in playing their games. agility stands out as one of their main strengths, which aligns perfectly with the characteristics of the Air Nation. i believe Hinata shares similarities with Aang, as both use quick attacks and serve as symbols of hope for their respective teams.

Oikawa and Katara share similarities in their unwavering determination to not give up hope for their teams, demonstrating strong leadership skills.

Wait, what does PDA stand for?

Kageyhina and Bokuaka are on different sides of the PDA spectrum. Bokuaka is public displays of affection and Kageyhina is public displays of aggression. Both of their teams have created rules to prevent the couples in question from getting everyone else kicked out of establishments.

coffee or tea??

tsukishima and yamaguchi are coffee drinkers, but tsukki puts more milk and sugar in it than is probably advisable (he carries a toothbrush with him that he thinks probably wards away cavities effectively enough). whereas yams takes his black normally. he picked up the habit in university for long nights studying, but has been trying to cut down and only have a few cups in the morning. their mug collection is starting to take over the kitchen because yamaguchi started unintentionally collecting them. he tends to cycle thru mainly the pokémon themed ones, but tsukki uses the same mug and washes it by hand every day so he can use it again (it’s big enough to hold all the milk sugar and coffee but still sits comfortable in his hand)

yachi and kageyama are tea drinkers. yachi mainly drinks herbal tea - lord knows she doesn’t need caffeine making her anxious - and she really likes rosehip tea and other sorts of nice floral teas. she has a really nice matching tea set for guests but she usually drinks out of the cartoon crow mug the boys got for her as a graduation present. kageyama is no where near as particular about his tea, he just has two types of generic tea bags, one green and one black, but he does drink a fair bit of it, and he leaves half drunk cups of tea all around the flat because he can’t stand when it gets cold. (ik about the boy’s milk obsession but i think that’s an out-and-about drink. at home he has tea.)

hinata doesn’t drink coffee or tea, he’ll have protein shakes for workouts, but otherwise he really only drinks water. winter mornings, he might heat it up and add lemon to it, but most of the time he’s more than happy to just have water. some people think it’s for the health benefits, and that’s a small part of it, but really he just… doesn’t really like coffee or tea.

Karasuno First Year’s Theatre Headcannons

In my area, the first haikyuu!! show is at like 8pm, so I’m imagining them posting up at the movies at night!! I was thinking of this while writing the other oneshot, so enjoy!!

Hinata Shoyo is weirdly still in his school uniform, but doesn’t care.

Chewing food the entire movie, no doubt.

Claps, cheers and chants a lot, which is sometimes annoying to the other watchers.

Spilt so much popcorn over himself, and in a mess by the end.

Kageyama Tobio is also wearing his school uniform, but carrying his school-bag and wearing a jacket.

Misread the situation, and brought dinner as movie food, so around him smells like steaming meat buns.

Everyone raids his food though, so he’s subconsciously snacking on Hinata’s popcorn,

Doesn’t talk, but is very expressive through his reaction.

Tsukishima and yamaguchi pulled up early and in pajamas, and managed to sneak an unholy amount of snacks through security.

Sitting at the back, far away from everyone so that they can commentate the movie freely

Both clapped at the end, yamaguchi crying

Laughed over everything

Stayed for the end credits, while complaining about the movie.
