In my mxtx phase, I loved the crossover aus between all the works. the demonic trio was a favorite because of how funny their dynamic was, that I eventually began to think about other ghosts and demons that could be included. Thus, this transmigrator!au for xuan ji was born. xuan ji, after dying in the modern world, returns to the cultivation world, but this time as the demon emperor's (luo bingge, to be specific) adopted sister. Here, she gets dropped right in the middle of peace negotations between the demon world and the heavens.

I'm still wavering between having her take over a completely au!xuan ji who only just met and became obsessed with pei ming and pushing for a betrothal with him or a post-ghost-groom!xuan ji who was taken in by luo bingge and is still seeking her revenge through marriage in a post-canon au. The first is funny because of the whiplash of xuan ji going from being obsessed with pei ming to avoiding him at every turn, while the second is funny because after everything the gang went through, including overthrowing the heavenly emperor, they're back at square one facing off their first villain.

i thought a post-pidw bingge would be more appropriate over bingmei, specifically modeled after the bingge in echo_reboot's fic smile for me. give it a read if you have the time!
