HQ boys who notice you have something to say in a group
~a little hq hc i've had for a bit~
Will wait for a small pause to ask: "(y/n) did you have something to say?"
Akaashi, Daichi, Ennoshita, IWAIZUMI, Kindaichi, KITA, sugawara, Reon, Ushijima (this man will literally STOP conversation accidentally)
Will ask you afterwards, more privately, what you wanted to say:
Aran, Asahi, Kageyama, Kenma, Kunimi, Matsukawa, Omimi, Semi, Shirabu, Suna, Tadaashi, Washio
These Mfs are the ones being too loud, but if they noticed would be not as loud:
BOKUTO, Oikawa, Kuroo, Hanamaki, HINATA, Tendo, Goshiki, Miya (Both) Atsumu/ Osamu, YAKU, Koganegawa
Would not care/ notice you were talked over:
FUTAKUCHI, Ginjima, Noya, Tsukishima, Tanaka (unless it was Kiyoko), DAISHOU, Sakusa (would definitely notice, probably wouldn't care)

A thought: Oikawa x fem!reader, childhood friends with Kuroo and Kenma; which goes onto timeskip
Thinking of making a fic about and Oikawa x reader based on "The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?”, “The sunset is beautiful, isn’t it?”, and “The sunrise is beautiful…isn’t it?"
Also inspired by the song Season lyrics by Rival & Cadmium
The first quote would be when Oikawa confess to reader. The second quote would be when Oikawa would go to Argentina and reader would have to give them up because she knew she would want Oikawa to achieve his dream. But while they're apart they keep thinking and missing each other. (Maybe also have reader go study abroad in Brazil while she's in Uni). Then the last quote would be when they're finally see each other for the second time when Oikawa finished the Olympics, satisfied where he is now and Oikawa and the reader are walking along a beach during sunrise.
Lyrics:
"You came into my life Just like Another Season
Not For long, Just a Time Just like Another Season
Maybe this Time Next Year You’ll Reappear for No Reason
But I’ll Cherish Everyday Till You Come My Way This Season"
And
"Don’t want another day without you by my side Another season"
The fic starts off with reader childhood being cousin with Kenma then meeting Kuroo. The reader and Kuroo would be the same age, being one year older than Kenma. She would be introduced to volleyball being interested in being libero. She also decided to be the manager of the volleyball team when she entered Nekoma be friends with Yaku and Kai, current 2nd years in the anime. Then it would skip to the end of their 2nd (1st year for Kenma) where her family would move to Miyagi, and join Aoba Johsai. Maybe being friends with Matsukawa and Hanamaki first, to them asking her to become their manager once learning she was one before. So she decided to join, quickly gaining approval from the coaches as she not one of Oikawa's fangirls and seeing her notes from Nekoma. The rest of the team meets the manager at practice, they get along. The anime plays out. Manager-chan would also help receive spikes during practice to help. Then it'll transition to the end of 3rd year, oikawa goes to Argentina, reader in Uni, then finally goes to the Olympics where they meet again.
😃👍

seijoh 2nd yrs laughter :)
yahaba is constantly doing the “polite laugh” whenever someone makes a joke regardless of if he finds it funny, because he just wants to appease people, but when he DOES find something TRULY funny he laughs like an absolute madman. like the most deranged, high-pitched, piglet-squeal laugh you could ever fathom
kyoutani’s a silent laugher. he’ll be flailing around like a buffoon and hitting any nearby people/objects but will make zero noise (when yahaba saw it for the first time he genuinely thought kyoutani was possessed)
watari’s special to me bc his laugh just IS the default “polite laugh”. he could think something is absolutely hilarious but his laugh would not reflect it at all. whenever someone tells a joke and watari laughs they’re like “was that fake?? was he just laughing to make me feel better?” but NO that’s just how he always laughs!! (when he feels especially comfortable he sometimes snorts, but in a cute little angelic way, not the heinous way yahaba does)

Iwaizumi Hajime: Brothers’ Best Friend
Fandom: Haikyuu!! — [ Masterlist ]
Summary: 2.5k, fluff
• It can be hard when you catch feelings for your brother best friend, but the least you can do is be mature about it and turn it into a game.
Warnings: a few insults
>>>>——————————>
Tumblr media
Iwaizumi Hajime had been 5 things to you over the years, some you'd regretted, many you'd denied, but there's 1 he'd finally accept.
———
He was your ‘brothers’ best friend.
Even from a young age, Iwaizumi Hajime had always captured your interest - most would often sway towards Oikawa but considering he was your older brother figure as your families were quite close, you saw quite enough of him already.
To anyone, your favouritism was evident, including to Oikawas' parents who regularly took you to collect Tōru from his Volleyball club practices.
Gingerly you walked past the child players who varied in height but were all taller than you, some recognising you and side stepping so you could locate your targets faster.
All while Tōrus older sister filmed the humorous ritual. You strolled toward the familiar pair, Oikawa immediely breaking into a blinding smile and picking you up with a prideful greeting. Iwaizumi halted beside his partner whilst he lifted you (there was only 2 years between you but at this age you'd yet to grow).
However, it was not your brother you wanted - no, he held you in his arms only for you pout and kick in his grasp.
Adhering to his childish personality, the cute Setter scoffed whilst mumbling curses as he passed you to his best friend who had his arms open already, used to this familiar favouritism behaviour - a smug look sent to his partner as you settled immediately with a content grin.
Happily you allowed Hajime to manoeuvre you to a piggy back position and carry you over to your amused family.
"This'll be good blackmail in the future y'know, I think for all of you~" Tōrus sister finally pressing stop on the recording, you supposed that at her age she had it out for her 'siblings'.
———
He was a crush.
A phase you'd told yourself, just some ridiculous school girl crush that'd pass eventually because above all else, he was a good friend.
"Hi (Y/n), Iwaizumi is here y'know." Oikawas sister said it with a playful mirth to her silky tone, knowing smirk situated on her face upon seeing you light up.
"Iwa?! Really~"
"That's the guy you talk about, on the high school team with your 'brother' right?"
"Yes! You have to me him -them- c'mon." Eagerly you dragged your friend into the kitchen where the two volleyball players were conversing.
"Hey guys."
"Awh! Chibi-chan, did you miss me? I know I'm amaz—"
Fluently you ducked under his open arms, flying straight into the unsuspecting but easily prepared Iwaizumi who only groaned in reply.
"Tch, not as amazing as Iwa-chan apparently."
"You've grown (Y/n), and who’s your friend?"
"Yeah, that's how life generally works Iwaizumi, oh and this Yuki."
"Nice to meet you. Oi, careful, you sound like Crappykawa and one of those is enough thanks." Iwaizumi chided after introductions, leaving you shaking your head but excited to ask your next question.
"How was the game? God I can't wait to start Aobajohsai next year! I'll finally be able to watch you guys for real."
"We won 2-0. Next year you can come to our practices too. We still need a manager and since Crappykawa is going to be Captain, he might put in a good word."
"Not likely, especially since you'll take Iwas' side in everything." Oikawa sneakily replied, giving you a childish face which you naturally returned.
"That's because he's usually right Tōru."
Once finishing your conversation, you left for your own home like originally planned with Yuki, also glad she’d finally met the two most important people in your life.
“Wow, you’re big brother figure is really good looking~”
“Ew no, did you even meet Iwaizumi? He’s so cool, he’s the arm wrestling champion at Aobajohsai.”
“You know we don’t stand a chance, they’ll be thirds years whilst we’re first years.” She’d awkwardly added, but you remained charismatically confident.
“You’re not thinking ahead, I’ll have a chance one day but until then there’s a bunch of cute guys in our year.”
“Yes, speaking of, I finally got the courage to speak to Tadashi-kun today~”
———
He was a protector.
"Back. Off." Every word was deadly punctuated, standing as a warning all on their own without needed the back up of Iwaizumis dangerous glare.
"Who are you?!" The pestered had glowered, having followed you from your friends’ party that night.
"Take another step and you'll find out."
"Iwaizumi, it's fine— I can handle this." You had every intention to, but Iwaizumi stood protectively in front of you and fingers twitching to punch this scoundrel if he dared make a move to touch you, it was best to leave it.
"Whatever.” Then he was gone, storming off in the other direction much to your joint relief.
“(Y/n) you need to be more careful.”
“I was careful! That’s why I messaged Oikawa the second I noticed him following me.” Hold on, why the hell was Iwaizumi here then?
“Creeps will target students walking alone, especially ones like you.”
“Don’t you think I know that? I’m not and idiot an— what do you mean ‘like me’?”
“What? You’re, y’know— you’re ours!” He seemed stifled by his response but he couldn’t exactly tell you it’s because you were considered attractive.
"You can stop treating me like a baby, I'm 16 Hajime! I can take care of myself, besides..." There was brief hesitation but your emotions were too strong. "I need to get used to you and Tōru not being around, don't I?"
It was a low blow, you knew that, but had every right to be angry at both the world and him, especially with that bubbling feeling of betrayal being so fresh.
"What? So protecting you suddenly means I'm treating you like a child?"
"What else would it be?" You bit back again, knowing by this point you were only being hurtful.
"That I—" A pause.
"That I care about you dumbass, is that so hard to believe? I know you're growing up but that doesn't mean me -or Tōru- are gonna stop looking out for you just because we're on the other side of the world."
"Sure it doesn’t, I'm going home." Despite his words being full of honesty, you turned your back on him and started walking.
"I'll walk you."
"No, I'll walk myself thanks."
"It wasn't a request."
Eventually you arrived at Oikawas’ house, storming in and ditching your shoes in his porch - the pretty brunette heaving a knowing sigh. Oikawa would give you a minute, Iwa having now walked into the house moments after without a word, and that’s when Oikawa followed your path and hesitantly knocked on his own bedroom door for entry.
"Don't be mad at Iwa-chan."
"Yeah yeah 'he's only trying to look out for you' and 'Hajime is protective over people close to him', heard it all before Tōru." Came your muffled reply, face hidden in your arms on the setters bed.
"...Guess you have but uh, this is different."
"Tch."
"It's because he's going to miss you, our Ace won't ever admit that but it's true. Not seeing you and dealing with our chaos all the time will be weird for him. You were near the top of his list to tell once he’d made his decision about California y'know?" Tōru sat tentatively beside you, a reassuring hand patting your back in aid of comforting you.
"Doesn't make it hurt any less, finding out I'm not only losing my big brother but his best friend too."
"You're more upset about me though right?" There was a preganant pause, quite honestly you weren't exactly listening but it was enough for Oikawa to sit abruptly from the bed. "Right?!"
"Tōru!"
"Fine fine, I'm taking that as a yes, but anyway, Iwa-chan just wants to make sure you're gonna be okay in life before he leaves (Y/n)."
There was another silence, a quiet sob escaping you that you’d desperately tried to cover up.
"…Where were you? I needed you Tōru and you weren’t there…"
You felt him cease up, the pain laced your voice and he knew it was partly because it’ll be this way for the foreseeable future, but this time wasn’t his fault.
“Iwa-chan was here when I got your message, he was out the house before I could even put my shoes on. So I waited here for when you came back.” They really were the best team. “Anyway, I’ll prepare my sisters old room for you to stay tonight.”
Awkwardly you shuffled into the kitchen, finding the Ace situated at the table, already changed into a t-shirt and joggers he had here and tiredly brooding over some freshly made tea.
"Hey..." The quietened whisper from your lips surprised even you, let alone Hajime who looked up from his cup with a softening frown.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah, I um, I wanted to apologise. You were only trying to help and you even walked me home after I was a crappy friend so..."
"Anytime." There was a hanging silence again, hugging yourself a bit before the brunette awkwardly cleared his throat. "I uh, I understand you were upset, and butting in on the situation probably wasn't necessary so I'm sorry too. It just pissed me off."
"We're good then?"
"Yeah, we're good."
Pausing at the entrance, you sighed quietly - bare feet quickly tapping on the floor and before Hajime could check the origin you'd engulfed him from behind, arms wrapped around his chest and nose buried in the nape of his neck.
"I'll miss you too Hajime."
You heard his breath hitch, muscles tensing under your touch and tentative fingers gracing your own with a gently sigh.
Then you pulled away slightly, the same moment he'd looked back to you, gazes meeting for only a few sacred seconds like sharing a thousand words. Softly you smiled, both of you laughing as your fingers slipped from his figure and you'd walked back to the guest room. Only to find Oikawa sat expectantly on the bed waiting for you.
"You tell him?"
"Not quite. But I said enough."
———
He was a traitor.
Not a phase. It must be a familiarity thing then, Hajime had always been present in your life since you could remember. There wasn't a prolonged period of time when he hadn't been involved - at school, at home, with Oikawa, even on vacations, or via social media.
Maybe once he'd left, once he was no longer around, the constant familiarity wouldn't influence your feelings anymore.
For now though, when you were gifted a moment alone with him that’d likely be your last, you decided it couldn’t hurt to express your feelings. Calmly and nonchalantly.
"I like you Hajime."
"I like you too (Y/n)." He paused, soft and sentimental smile gracing his lips briefly as if resenting his next words. "But you know there's the age thing."
"I know, but I'm in it for the long game."
You could tell your confident statement caught him off guard, yes Iwaizumi knew the topic of conversation was to be handled with care but that didn’t mean he wasn’t perplexed by you.
"I don't want you to wait for me or anything, considering I'm heading to California."
"I had no intention of waiting, our paths will cross again. It's nice knowing you're out there, I'm out there, and we both know. That's enough." You shrugged, leaning back far too casually for the situation.
"Knowing we're both out in the world, I can play along with that."
"Besides, I'll win in the end Hajime."
"Oh yeah? What makes you so sure."
There was a playful smirk on your lips as you sat up a little straighter, hands clasped and head tilted in curiosity. "Well, date me now?"
"No way."
"Okay, then date me later?"
"..." Despite his snapping reply earlier, he now furrowed his brows in thought. "You don't even know what we'll being doing in the future."
"You're not saying no."
"..." A flicker of realisation when meeting your competitive gaze.
"See." You smirked. "That's what makes so sure."
"The long game huh?" Iwaizumi smiled "Count me in."
Oikawa joined you both then, stepping out onto the field and standing before your sitting figures.
"I'm still going to hate you though." A playful punch hitting Iwaizumis’ shoulder as you rose to your feet. "For leaving. I can't hide those feelings very well."
"I know, and it's okay. Hate me for as long as you need to."
“You two done? Let’s go~”
However it was the text later that night which left you more confused than ever.
[ Iwa: Finally. ]
[ (Y/n): Huh? ]
[ Iwa: I didn't give you an answer earlier, so that's it. ]
[ Iwa: Date you finally. ]
[ (Y/n): What does that mean? Eventually??? Later??? Iwaaaaa!!!! 😭 ]
[ Iwa: You're playing the long game remember?  So you'll just have to wait I guess. Anyways tell Shittykawa he better be up early tomorrow, night (Y/n) x ]
[ (Y/n): Tōrus' right, you are mean! 💀 ]
———
He was a friend.
"Someone grew up good." Iwaizumi nodded to you in greeting when you’d shown up to Oikawas’ family home, yourself gladly embracing the former traitor.
"Iwa-chan! That's my little chibi-chan!" Oikawa was quick to chastise, even at your expense.
"Tōru I'm not so little anymore, I'm a grown assed human with a job and rent for crying out loud!"
"With a petty attitude to boot." Oikawa mocked, sticking his tongue at you like you were children again.
"Wonder who they got that from Crappykawa?"
"How dare you compare me to him Iwaizumi?! That's it, we're enemies now - prepare to lose."
"I just got back from California, can't we do things normally for once? Like unpack, then celebrate my graduation by going out for dinner together like old times?"
Yourself and Oikawa looked at each other with offended expressions, mirroring smirks etching onto your lips once you'd set your attention back on an irritated Iwa.
"Nope!" You devilishly grinned, Oikawa already holding up Mario Kart controllers as he finished off.
"We're going to my place to have a tournament, loser buys dinner!"
"Idiots."
“Woah, us ‘idiots’ threw you a graduation party. We’re the best friends ever, you should be thanking rather than insulting us y’know.” Oikawa pointedly corrected referring to the destination later tonight.
“Yeah, when Tōru got back from the airport, we even tried making you a cake!”
“Guys… thanks so much…”
“Iwa-chan, congratulations on your graduation.” Tōru proudly cemented, next you gladly followed. “And welcome home.”
———
He was the love of your life.
It was a beautiful summers night in Tokyo, and you'd come to congratulate Iwaizumi on his recent job offer as the Japanese Olympic Volleyball Teams fitness trainer.
You didn't think you'd be sitting beside him staring up at the stars though, a blissful warm breeze allowing you to truly feel the moment.
It seemed Iwaizumi was the same, content smile upon his face.
"It's nice to see you (Y/n), I'm glad you made it."
"Well it's easier when you don't have to catch a flight from the other side of the world." It was evident to whom you’d referred, his absence always being felt in some way.
"Heh, yeah I got to speak to him over video chat though."
"Ugh that means he didn't get the slaps he deserves." Was your witty reply, Iwaizumi laughing alongside you.
"Nah, but don't worry I managed to scold him for anything ridiculous he came out with."
"Like beating everyone?"
"Exactly. With the team I'm gonna train, I'll kick his ass." It amazed you, that even as best friends their rivalry continued into adulthood.
"I hope you both do well Hajime."
"Hm, I hope Japan and Argentina get to face one another most of all."
"You miss him."
"Yeah." A sentimental smile and Iwa turned to you. "And I miss you too."
The atmosphere once again settled into that of comfortable tranquility. You supposed there was only one last thing to say then.
"Well Iwaizumi Hajime, I have one last question for you tonight."
"I know, you've been waiting. So go ahead." It was a challenge, the brunette facing you with an expectant smirk that matched your own.
"Date me now?"
"Don't you remember? I said date you, finally."
"Finally?" You mimicked again, still not knowing what he’d meant by that phrase.
"Guess the long game is over now huh?" Iwaizumi shrugged nonchalantly, despite his mocking tone which only left you sarcastically retorting.
"Shut up asshole."
"It meant, I may not have been your first love (Y/n), but I have every intention of being your last." His sentiment surprised you, especially if this is the thought he had when typing that text all those years ago. "If that's okay with you obviously."
"It is Hajime, then it's your call."
"(Y/n), will you finally go on a date with me?"
"No." You'd said it proudly, Hajime only knowingly smirking. "You don't get to take the victory lap now. This is my game, and I asked you first. You owe me an answer."
"Ah man, it was worth a shot but the only true loss here is missing the chance to be with you so yeah."
"Don't get all sappy on me Hajime! It doesn't suit you."
"Hey! I said I'd date you (Y/n), aren't I supposed to be a little sentimental with that." Though he seemed confident, Iwaizumi hadn’t hidden his blush very well.
"You might want to make another call to Oikawa, I'm sure dating his 'Chibi-chan' will have him back here in no time. Don't you need his permission huh?"
"Already got it." Iwaizumi seemed smug about it, no doubt probably asking prior to this encounter since he already knew what you wanted to ask - but you had your own surprises.
"Funny, I did too."
"You asked his permission to date me?!"
"Duh, you're his best friend. I got permission before you even left for California~"Not explicitly, but you assumed Oikawa had always known how you felt.
"You really had me from the start didn't you?"
"Yeah, but you had me too Iwa.”
Iwaizumi Hajime was (and had been) your everything. But you were always his everything too.

ICHI | YANDERE!TOORU OIKAWA x READER | HAIKYUU!!
~ WRITING COMMISSIONS ~ ~ PATREON ~ ~ KO-FI ~
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. I do not own anything except my own writing. All properties belong to their respective creators.
Tumblr media
Girls loved him for his looks. Boys loved him for his volleyball skills. Sometimes the two were interchangeable, but one thing was definitely certain. Tooru Oikawa was one of the most popular students to ever attend Aobajohsai High, if not the most popular.
That was why he was considered #1. Ironic, considering he wore #13 on his bib.
The brunette, handsome faced boy seemed to have everything. There was just one problem.   He didn't.
If he could have everything, then you would most definitely be a part of it. You were the person that kept him up at night, drove him nuts tossing and turning, holding onto himself and imagining you there with him. The thrill that came from playing a good game could not compare to just imagining how amazing you might be. He'd give it up in a split second if it meant he could have you.
Often he would see you sitting at the side and watching his games, cheering him on with that beautiful smile and those gorgeous [E/C] eyes glistening with enthusiasm. You didn't play yourself, but he could tell that you were passionate about the sport, and more importantly, he could tell that you enjoyed watching him play it.
So he made his best efforts to look as attractive as possible for you. You weren't someone who only valued looks, but aesthetics were always important. If he ever got any sweat on his brow he would tug up the bottom of his shirt, pulling the fabric and exposing his midriff while he wiped it. He'd deliberately jog close to where you were sitting, and make sure he was showing off his athletic figure. He even wondered if you'd enjoy hearing his slightly weary panting after he had played hard.
Anything. Anything at all, he'd make sure your eyes were always on him. But he never worried about it. It seemed to already be guaranteed after all. Of course you'd say yes to him when he finally asked you. Why would you ever say no? There was nobody better that you could find.
That was what he thought at least. That was how he viewed things, but from your perspective things were significantly different. You had no idea what went on inside Tooru's head, and so you didn't know of the romanticized thoughts he was having about you. All you knew was that you enjoyed watching him play.
He was such a talent. Even with his injury, he played on like a pro. Maybe he was a little bit arrogant, but nobody was perfect. He had his flaws like everyone else, and you liked him all the same. But...'loved' him? Unfortunately for Tooru, that wasn't how you felt.
This bitter truth came to light the very day he ushered you aside after a game and took you into a quiet part of the boys' locker room. You initially fretted about being in there, not wanting to seem like some kind of desperate pervert, but Tooru insisted there was no need to worry, as nobody else was in there. He'd made sure to check. He'd made quite sure you would be alone for when he finally asked you:
“[Y/N], will you go out with me?”
At first, those words made you a little shocked. Then...you started to feel that creeping, dreadful sensation. The impending rejection on your own part. Why did you have to ask me this?
Like a storm cloud, it finally caught up with you and you couldn't escape from it. Holding your other arm, you sighed out softly, immediately shattering the illusion he'd been having this whole time as you spoke in glum but honest return: “I can't, Tooru. I'm sorry.”
It took him a moment to come to terms with what you had just said. His eyes blinked, and stared at you. He could feel the sweat still lingering on the back of his neck from all that exertion now mingling with a new kind. It was ice cold, like a creeping finger on his back. He could practically hear himself being mocked... Idiot! You think you're all that, but if you really were then she wouldn't reject you!
No...no! Logically this made no sense! Angered now, he suddenly looked at you with demanding eyes.
“Well you must have a really great reason, right? Because there are so many girls who would kill to be in your position right now, don't you know that??”
Now this was a side of Tooru that you hadn't expected to ever see. His brow had furrowed slightly, hazel brown eyes zeroed in on you like missiles about to strike land.   “You're kidding, right?”
“...No...I wouldn't lie to you like that. I don't think it's fair to lead anyone on...” you replied, so bewildered by this sudden attitude shift that you almost couldn't think of anything to say at all. “I'm just being honest. My only reason is that I just don't feel that way about you.”
Tooru had been hoping you would tell him that you just had too many commitments, that there was some tragedy in your life that had happened recently, even that you had a boyfriend already (which he figured would be easy to get rid of), any kind of valid excuse not to date him besides...not being attracted to him.
But no. It seemed that you really didn't feel that way about him after all, and he simply couldn't wrap his head around that. He would have given up learning the biggest secret in volleyball if it had meant he could understand why you were telling him this. Why it was the case at all.
Why you didn't love him, despite the fact that he was perfect boyfriend material. Tall, attractive, athletic, smart, well spoken, a high achiever all round. What was anyone else when compared with that?
What smarted too was feeling like he had wasted all that time trying to seduce you while playing games, even if subtly so, and now it was like you were throwing it all back in his face.
His stomach turned. This was literally sickening to him. You were looking at him so innocently, as if you truly had no clue how much of his precious world you had just torn down with your cruel hands.
“...Cruel...yeah. It's cruel...” “Cruel?” you asked, confused by his silence followed by this sudden saying. “Yeah...” Tooru nodded slowly, head low and shadowed all of a sudden. “It's cruel how you can so easily knock down everything a person has ever worked for...”
“What? What are you talking about?” you were baffled, literally spluttering before you actually responded: “I rejected becoming your girlfriend, but I'm just one of millions of girls out there- billions even! And if your fanbase here in school is anything to go by, you won't have a hard time finding someone else.”
You were working on your own logic, just as he was working on his, and both of you were clashing.   “Look, I don't want an argument...so I think I should just go...” you turned away from him.
To Tooru, the fact that you could even suggest that he would pick anyone else was only one thing. Insulting.
And how dare you?  How dare you insult someone as perfect as himself?
His hands shot out all of a sudden and grabbed you by the shoulders. You squeaked with shock but he ignored your cry as he simply held you fast and slammed you back against the locker, making the metal rattle, and causing your body to hiccup. “To--!”  His free hand clamped over your mouth before you could say anything else, squeezing your cheeks as something of a warning.
This was the first time that Tooru had ever really touched you. There was nothing romantic about him literally pinning you to a boy's locker, stifling any cries with his hand. You only flushed when you felt his knee slip up between your legs, propping your comparatively smaller body up in-front of his own.
Tooru stood there for a moment, watching you as you quivered in his hold. Your eyes were wide with alarm, and no wonder. That had happened so out of the blue he was almost startled by it himself.
“...You talk like you know everything, and yet you seem to know nothing about me. Not really.”  Tooru's brow softened in a condescending expression, his lips pouting slightly while he spoke and rubbed his thumb against your cheek. “Because you should know that I'm number one, in every regard. That makes me better than any other boy you might like.”  He dug his nail into the plush skin he was caressing, and smiled as you closed one eye, wincing. “And I bet you like other boys, don't you [Y/N]?”
Just like that, his slightly clammy hand slipped away and you panted, breathing properly through your mouth again. But he didn't let you go though. Instead, that same hand soon returned, only this time so it could gently slip around your neck and grip it with a little firmness. This made you cower all the more, but Tooru only looked at you expectantly with one dark eyebrow raised.
When you didn't answer, he gave your gullet a little squeeze. Then you talked. “I-I do! I can't help that!” “Hmph.” he smirked and loosened up again, watching as you breathed in some air shakily, treating it like precious alcohol. He loved having so much leverage that he could literally control every minutiae of a certain situation. Dating was so much easier when you were completely in charge.
“Maybe not. But that doesn't matter anymore.” Tooru's head tilted, and he smiled sweetly, but it was undoubtedly sinister, “Because you're mine now. And that means no more thinking about other boys okay~?”
You only kept looking up at him in that cutely frightened manner. Tooru couldn't resist it. He pressed his knee firmer against you, watching you go even more scarlet and look down shyly. His hand only tilted your chin up deftly, lips meeting yours in a seductive kiss.
He was stronger than you. He was faster than you. He was smarter than you. You were outmatched. Completely.
His tongue consumed your mouth, hands ravishing your sides while he kept you pinned taut between the lockers and his tall body. His 6 foot figure dominated you entirely, casting you in a heavy shadow which already spelled so many levels of doom. And when he parted from that kiss, wiping his mouth and giving you that famous one-eyed gesture, he then let that cheerful, aroused little smile of his fade into something more sinister and serious again.
Alone in the locker rooms, without a single other soul there to hear either of you, the only thing you could focus on was the sight of him running his tongue across his bottom lip, eyes never leaving you in that hooded manner. “Face it. Nobody is better for you than I am. Don't insult me by pretending I'm not the best that there is.”
His hand reached out then, warm as it cupped your cheek, but cold and callous in intention. The words he spoke were practically oozing with that arrogant, venomous attitude you'd never known he had, only faintly cloaked by a sweetness that seemed all too false.
“We both know I'm the perfect man...”

— [Reader]-chaaan! — A loud, sweet voice came from the end of the corridor. — Here you are.
— Good morning, Oikawa-senpai.
The girl was honestly surprised. The king of the school was usually surrounded by his fan club. This time, he came alone. Moreover, they didn't know each other very well. Third graders rarely had any contact with the lower grades outside of club activities.
— You have to come to our match — he blurted out.
This made her even more surprised. She didn't know how to get out of the situation. In theory, senpais were not to be refused. However, she had heard about the flirt's exploits and had no desire to get involved with his fans. Every suspicion meant jealous glances. It could also lead to later unpleasantness.
— But I don't like volleyball — she cleared her throat nervously.
— You've already been to our... AAAAAH — Oikawa howled.
[Reader] recognized the person who hit him in the head. It was his teammate, Iwaizumi.
— Are you bothering kouhais again, Shittykawa? — He pulled him by the ear.
— It's not like that, Iwa-chan — he sobbed as if on cue.
The girl wondered how tears could be summoned so quickly. She had no doubt that Aobajohsai Captain was a master in this matter.
— I just wanted Kyōken-chan to play well...— he sobbed.
— I apologize for him. — Hajime bowed, forcing his friend to do the same.
— Apology accepted — she replied.
She felt awkward. After all, it wasn't every day that two older senpais apologized to her at the same time.
— We'd appreciate it if you came to training anyway.
— Where is this invitation coming from? — She started playing with her fingers nervously.
The students were already heading to their classes. She couldn't be late for calligraphy. Yamahama-sensei took her work very seriously and did not tolerate any kind of deviation.
— I'll be honest with you — Iwaizumi started, dismissing Oikawa towards their classroom. — Kyōtani-kouhai seems calmer when you're in the stands. With his explosive personality, we may have serious problems in the next match. Help us. — He bowed again. — You can take someone with you if you want, just please come.
It was strange for [Reader] to accept that the boy could be short-tempered. They were in different classes but when they met, he always seemed rather calm to her.
— All right. — She nodded. — If it's to help him... I mean, help you win, then fine.
— Thanks a lot. We start at four p.m. in the hall! — The boy disappeared around the corner.
Tumblr media
A stack of boxes filled with books covered [Reader] the entire school corridor. It was inevitable that they would collide with someone sooner or later.
— Be careful how you walk…— Kyōtani stopped mid-sentence.
The boy would normally yelled at anyone who bumped into him. It didn't matter whether it was a third-year or a teacher (though in the latter case he usually ended up cleaning the classroom as punishment).
This time, however, the situation required restraint. [Reader] was lying on the floor, among a pile of textbooks. They were in different classes but Kentarō had been watching her for some time. So far, there has been no opportunity to talk to her. He was stopped from taking the first step by information he accidentally heard during a breakfast break — apparently the girl liked calm and polite students. He had no way of knowing if it was true but he decided he didn't want to ruin anything. Especially since he was aware of his rather difficult character.
Without a word, he held out his hand. It was received with gratitude, accompanied by apologies and bows.
— Don't worry about it. — He scratched the back of his neck.
He introduced himself and then offered to help carry the boxes.
— Kyōtani-kun, you don't have to carry everything. I can take some from you.
— How much can such a frail girl like you carry?
He knew that sooner or later he wouldn't be able to stop himself. His character always came out in the end. He felt like punching himself in the face for forgetting.
To his surprise, [Reader] laughed.
— Not much probably. You're right. I heard you play volleyball. With muscles like that, you might as well carry it all.
He felt heat rising to his cheeks and covered himself with the cardboard. He hoped nothing was visible.
— Do you like volleyball?
— No. To be honest, I don't really like sports but my friend is a fan of the school team. She goes to every match where Oikawa-senpai plays.
— You can come to our training sometime. We usually play after three o'clock.
— Seriously? It'd be great.
— We're here — he said, wishing the classroom was at the other end of the school.
— Thanks for the help! And see you tomorrow.
Tumblr media
— I'll be late... come on...— The girl pressed the buttons of the machine to no avail.
It had already swallowed a lot of yen and the metal springs didn't move.
The second grader didn't want to stay hungry. She had a difficult test ahead of her. Her growling stomach wouldn't help her at all.
— Stand back — she heard behind her.
Kentarō swung and kicked the machine with all his might. The equivalent of all the money that [Reader] put in was gone.
The boy turned around, waiting for a reaction. He was horrified by the sight of the girl standing there with her eyes wide open. He was afraid that she would scold him for destroying the machine. However, nothing of the sort happened.
— Wow! Just like in the movies. — Delighted, she took out candy bars and carbonated drinks. — Take the can as a thank you.
— Thanks but it's nothing. — He cleared his throat. — It always gets stuck. If you ever have a problem again, hit  really hard. Or... you can stop by my classroom and I'll come help you.
— I'll remember... Kyōtani-kun, aren't you going the wrong way? — She raised an eyebrow.
Only after asking did he realize that his legs were carrying him away from the room he was heading towards.
— It just so happens that I'm heading in that direction too...
Tumblr media
— Why are you so calm today? — Yahaba asked, practicing his receive.
— Because [Reader]-san is in the stands — someone from the team replied.
— I'm always calm! — Kentarō hit the ball with such force that a loud slap against the hand could be heard.
He felt pain burning in his hand. He got used to venting his anger on the pitch. Volleyball was perfect for this purpose.
— Yes, yes... But you better get over this anger because your girlfriend is watching — the setter laughed.
— She's not my girlfriend! — He served towards Shigeru.
He was going to wipe the smirk off his face. At the last moment, however, he remembered to behave himself and eased the pressure.
He gritted his teeth.
The start of the match has come. He didn't feel good about being limited. The whistle blew, signaling that it was time for him to serve.
To the boy's surprise, between the screams of the fans he heard a loud:
— Kyōtani-kun, knock'em!
It was [Reader] who was screaming very loudly, waving at him.
He smiled.
— That's my intention! — he replied, jumping high into the air.
— Ace for Aobajōsai!
Tumblr media
— Did you come up with the idea that [Reader] likes — Hajime drew quotation marks in the air — nice boys?
— Iwa-chan, I'm the captain of this team. I told you we would win this game, no matter what. — Oikawa winked at his friend and then went back to warming up.
— Sometimes I wonder if you're that brilliant or that stupid...

The loving theory- Kageyama Tobio
Heey :), I'm new to the whole writing thing but i decided to give it a chance with some fic ideas i had. I plan on making this one a multiple chapter story depending on how it goes. I will also say beforehand that this story will eventually contain smut. Some will be explicit and some won't. Also, this contains manga spoilers regarding kageyamas family and stuff so if you mind spoilers please don't read this :)
Kageyama enemies to lovers (supposedly)
Content warning: angst, mention of a family members death (that's probably it for now, aside from my very watpad plot and probably my bad english)

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
The start of the school year meant fresh starts for most, yet for you, it marked the daunting prospect of navigating a new environment where familiarity was limited. Coming from Kitagawa Daiichi, the likelihood of encountering any former classmates at Karasuno seemed slim as it was located on the outside of the city. Although many of your peers enrolled at Aobajohsai, your heart remained steadfast in the desire to follow in your late father's footsteps by attending Karasuno. Thus, on the very first day of high school first year, you found herself seated in solitude during lunchtime, surrounded by your classmates engrossed in their own groups.
Looking down at your cold food you decided to go for a walk and explore the grounds you´d have to go through for the next 3 years. you weren´t that brave to go to the second- and third-years floor so you mostly walked around the school’s first and ground floor. Once outside, you started to hear people talking and a ball hitting something, and being the noisy person you were, you got closer until you reached a passageway leading to a gymnasium. That's when you saw a boy with orange hair and another with silver hair playing with a volleyball. Making sure they couldn’t see you, you watched them toss the ball around practicing bumps. It was obvious the orange haired one was a newbie since all the balls he hit where going anywhere except in the direction of the silver haired one. Unexpectedly one specific toss ended going your way making both boys aware of your presence.
“Hey, can you pass that?” said the orange haired boy.
“Hinata be more respectful” scolded the other one “Sorry, don’t mind him. Could you please pass us the ball?” he said looking at you.
“Sure, are you guys from the volleyball team?” you asked passing the ball to Hinata.
“Yes” he answered loudly “Well, not yet but I will be”
“I hope you aren’t the libero then” you tried to crack a joke.
“Oh, you know how to play?” said silver hair
“I just know the basics, I used to be a manager in my old school” answered the girl smiling awkwardly
“Really!?” screamed the boy “What school did you go to?”
“Hm.. Kitagawa daiichi” you said in a low tone watching the boy’s face drop a little.
“The king’s school? But I didn’t see you at the match the last tournament” you cringed a little over the nickname and the mood dropped visibly.
“Yeah, by that time I already quit managing for the team” you responded quietly
“Shoyo, I think it’s time for you to go back to class or you’ll be late. I’m Sugawara koushi by the way, nice to meet you” he said grabbing the younger boys shoulders, and you thanked him mentally for changing the subject.
“Oh sorry, I’m (Y/N) nice to meet you senpai” you said noticing the boys shoe color.
“I’m Hinata Shoyo, please be our manager” he introduced himself while being dragged by the older boy.
“I’ll think about it” you almost to herself since the boys already left.
Then you started thinking about how you didn’t expect to hear that nickname ever again. You obviously knew who Hinata was referring to since you still talked to most of theteammates you had back at Kitagawa daiichi and knew what happened back in the tournament Hinata talked about. You hurried and took out your phone and messaged Kunimi to ask him about your new acquaintance.
-Hey Aki, do you happen to know a short guy with orange hair? You played against him last year probably-
After hitting send you quickly went back to class, not without the feeling that something was off.
Not long after the initial encounter with the two boys, you found yourself repeatedly bumping into them in the hallways and even at the exact spot where youfirst met. You often joined them during their practice sessions, and it became somewhat of a routine for the week.
"I never asked, but why are you practicing during your free period? Don't you have official club hours at the gymnasium?" you inquired, sipping from a carton of milk you had purchased from the vending machine.
"Well, technically, I'm not in the club," Hinata responded. "Didn't you hear about the incident with the subdirector?"
"Oh my god, that was you?" youexclaimed, laughing. "I heard about it from some girls in my class. But that still doesn't explain why you're practicing out here."
"It's sort of like a penalty. Tomorrow, they have to play against the other two first-years who joined the club. If they win, they get to stay in," Suga explained.
"Wait, they? Who else has to play?"
“Another first year that was involved on the incident”
"The king, Kageyama. Do you know him? He also went to your school" Hinata interjected with a sour expression.
At the mention of that name, you paused for a moment, your breath catching in your throat. Your expression must have shifted noticeably, as the senpai's next words were, "Hey, are you alright? You look like you've seen a ghost."
"Yes, sorry, I have to go now," the girl hurriedly responded, quickly making her exit, leaving the two boys behind.
It couldn't be, you thought. He shouldn't be at this school. Why would he? After treating you the way he did, how could he choose the high school you had told him so many times you would attend?
Lost in your thoughts, you collided with a solid figure, nearly stumbling backward. Thankfully, you were caught just in time by the person you bumped into. Looking up, you was about to apologize until you recognized the boy standing in front of you.
"You."
Kageyama hadn't anticipated having to confront her so soon. Well, truth be told, he didn't often think things through. But in that moment, he wished he had at least considered what he might say if they ran into each other.
“Hi” he said like he was out of breath “I-”
"Keep it," spat the girl before he could say anything else. She turned around sharply, her footsteps echoing as she strode away, leaving Kageyama standing there, speechless, with a weighty silence enveloping the space between them.
He couldn’t do much except return to class and contemplate what to say in case he happened to see you again. However, he didn’t expect to be questioned by Hinata about you.
"How do you know her?" he scowled.
"Suga senpai and I met her the first day while practicing. She's been coming to keep us company ever since. She's super nice and knows how to play volleyball. It's too bad she doesn’t want to be part of the club," responded Hinata. "Do you know her?"
"Of course I know her, dumbass. We went to the same school, and she managed our club," he retorted.
"Weren't you friends? Why are you making such an ugly face? You’re gonna end up like that permanently if you don’t stop," said the boy, completely serious.
"Shut up, you idiot. How come you’ve been practicing all week and you are shittier than before?" countered the raven-haired boy
"You shut up. This is all your fault. Why did you even come to this school?" he said defensively.
"It's none of your business. If you’re not going to shut up, you can practice alone. Not like you’re going to get any better," said the raven-haired boy before storming off.
Kageyama never envisioned himself attending Karasuno in the first place. His initial preference was clearly Shiratorizawa, but without the recommendation letter and failing all the entrance exams by a wide margin, it remained an unattainable dream. Aoba Johsai was also out of the question; he couldn’t fathom playing alongside his former teammates after the fallout from their last match in elementary school, not to mention the potential blow to his ego from encountering his old senpais. However, upon hearing of Coach Ukai's return, he concluded that Karasuno was his best option, even if it meant potentially seeing her every day.
Truth be told, he caught sight of her on the very first day of the opening ceremony. Amidst the sea of unfamiliar faces, he couldn’t help but seek her out. She appeared paler and thinner than the last time he saw her, back when he uttered those regrettable words, instructing you to stay away from him. Following that incident, she left the club, and he didn’t get a hold on her even at graduation. He regretted those words the moment they left his lips, but it was too late; she departed while tears streamed down her face.
He was too ashamed to talk to (Y/N), so during the first week, he did everything in his power to avoid her. Choosing longer routes to ensure they wouldn't cross paths, delaying his departure from home until he was certain she hadn't left hers – all because they were neighbors. He couldn't fathom how the two of them never crossed paths during the holidays before the start of school. At one point, he even wondered if her family had moved after her father's passing. Throughout the summer, his sister scolded him for not reaching out to her, but he honestly didn't know what to say. Although he attended the funeral with his family, he left before she could spot him, convinced he didn't deserve her forgiveness.
He couldn't bring himself to approach her and ask for forgiveness. After losing his grandfather, he felt lost, and truth be told, he still did. Yet, amidst his constant mood changes, she remained by his side, a fact he was too blind to acknowledge. All the efforts (Y/N) made to distract him from his loss, and he lacked the courage to express how sorry he was for her own. He only knew of her because she kept in contact with his sister, and he was somewhat relieved knowing she had someone like his sister to provide comfort.
Why did everything have to be this difficult? He couldn’t help but think.

Sportsmanship by Avvkward
Words: 2,083
Chapters: 1/1
Pairings: None
Description: "After the devastating loss for the Aobajohsai Boys' Volleyball team, Oikawa notices a little something about Karasuno's Number-Ten spiker. Lost amongst the celebration of their ticket to Nationals, it seems the ginger-haired boy is hiding something from his teammates? Of course Oikawa would be curious-- and he's not helping the younger.
Could Oikawa possibly just have a soft spot for the tiny spiker with big ambitions? Of course not."
Personal Comments: This was the first Haikyuu fanfiction I ever read and I really loved it. Hinata hurts his ankle and Oikawa helps him out. Just a cute fluffy one-shot.
