YALL IM NOT NORMAL ABOUT THIS
Got into Epic:The Musical and now All I can think about is a DSMP AU of it
Odysseus-Tommy
Penelope-Tubbo
Athena-Techno
Poseidon-Dream
Polyphemous-George
Circe-Quackity
Zeus-Punz/Sapnap
Ares-Jack Manifold
Aphrodite-Niki
Apollo-Badboyhalo
Sirens-Egg
Hephaestus-Warden Sam
Hera-Drista
Calypso-Revivebur/Dream
Aaeolus - Phil
Telemachus-Michael
Hermes-Slimecicle/Ranboo
Polites-Ghostbur
Lotus Eaters-Schlatt
Tiresias-Eret
Eurylochus-Fundy
Anticlea-Kristin
Ithaca-L'Manberg/Snowchester
Explanation under cut
Ok, 2 things
1) this is based specifically off of the musical, cuz the actual Odyssey doesn't line up as nice and I haven't read it recently enough to adjust my characters
2)fuck cc!Will Gold, I'm stealing his characters for myself
ALRIGHT
Tommy - Odysseus
Doomed Protagonist, everyone likes to beat up that wet cat, made some stupid mistakes and never stops paying for it
-
Tubbo - Penelope
In a platonic way- they are each other's reason to continue living as well as Tommy's loyalty to Tubbo
-
Techno - Athena
a mentor figure that helps, then abandons, then helps again when their mentee is suffering alone - grew attached? When said mentee was young and deemed worthy of their loyalty
-
Dream - Poseidon
Main thing preventing him from going home, for a reason that was due to a decision that meant no harm in the grand scheme of things, unjustly petty bitch
-
Gogy - Polyphemous
his house is equivalent of Polyphemous's eye, something that was meant as an action that meant no harm, that Ody/Tommy can never seem to make up for to the point where the punishment doesn't match the crime
-
Quackity-Circe
the whole Puppeteer motif and protecting others on his little island by any means necessary via Las Nevadas - his nymphs are his employees and the city itself for the most part - also the feeling of doing something right, even through cruelty in the sake of expected justice (butcher army) - also his want to kill pig man
-
Punz/Sapnap-Zeus
I feel Punz would be an ace Zeus - all of ThunderBringer, the final judgement call, swayed based on loyalties at the time and sides with Dream for reasons of "Ody/Tommy needs to be slapped around" - Techno is more powerful but Punz fits the personality more imo
I just realized Sapnap also fits really well and is a bit of a brother figure with Dream, but more willing to compromise with Tommy being around. He also is way better fitting with his anger issues, and is also has more ummm... Zeus-like motivations. I think the pride issue would also fit better, but he isn't nearly as powerful as Punz is at the time of the Exile-Prison arcs that I have this AU taking place in.
-
Jack Manifold-Ares
the pissy nature about Tommy/Ody being a coward who he believes acts for purely selfish reasons when that isn't entirely the case, the need for violent action
-
Niki-Aphrodite
less sexual - more platonic love based
I'm mostly basing this off God Games, and how Aphrodite is
1) paired with Ares, and is the less violent between the 2 but one of the hardest to convince that they should help Ody/Tommy
2) focused on Ody/Tommy betraying mom/friends for what are perceived as selfish reasons
-
Badboyhalo-Apollo
Apollo singing about how the sirens were cut down is the same as Badboyhalo being against Tommy for not obeying the egg
Also by the interpretation that Apollo is apathetic to Odysseus's fate in God Games - Badboyhalo is primarily apathetic towards Tommy except for when he has to do with the Egg
-
The Egg-Sirens
the egg has siren abilities that Tommy is immune to but (as least in fics) goes a long with for "plot" lmao - Tommy also partially lead to the defeat of the Egg through Church Prime - using faith in a god against Siren powers
-
Warden Sam-Hephaestus
Using Prison as a similar setting to Ogygia (trapped with only an abusive partner)
The armory/builder character, part of his song in God Games is about sacrificing Ody's cohort similar to how Tommy sacrificed Ghostbur - both leading to/right after being trapped in prison/Ogygia
The needing to reforge trust but ultimately allowing a rescue under the promise of improvement
-
Drista-Hera
(changing from Puffy to Drista cuz I like the idea from @wlwdwtys better!)
Drista would be a lot more passive towards the hero's fate, similar to God Games Hera. She easily has the powerful backing that Hera does and could likely be persuaded quickly with knowledge of something (Dream abusing Tommy/Ody staying loyal).
Whether or not Drista and Dream are siblings in this AU is up to interpretation, tho because Drista is a minor during the Dream SMP, her Hera wouldn't be engaged with this Zeus(Sapnap) - I think they would be more spiteful besties
-
Revivebur/Dream-Calypso
Revivebur and Tommy don't have the exact same dynamic (brothers? Vs One-sided lover) but the dynamic is similarly abusive and done by someone isolated for numerous years given a chance at companionship from someone who can't really leave - seeing that companionship as more object than person
I think the Prison would be the equivalent of Ogygia since Tommy's entire time in prison it was just him and Dream separated from the rest of the world. So in that case Dream is Calypso, as he also has that "more object than person" view of Tommy
-
Phil-Aeolus
God of the winds, the winions are chat, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer", both helpful and not, apathetic in the lighthearted way
-
Michael/Ranboo-Telemachus
I'm leaning towards Michael for things like Legendary and the mentorship~ish/aunt vibes with Athena thing. I think Michael would have had a lot of stories of what Tommy achieved, especially since when Michael was first properly in the narrative, Tommy was technically dead. Argos is Michael's Chicken.
As for Ody's want to see Telemachus as a motivation for returning home, I think that matches Ranboo more, as Tommy doesn't really know Michael for most of the DSMP
-
Slimecicle/Ranboo-Hermes
I'm going under the belief that this story starts during the initial leaving for Exile.
Hermes is helpful but mostly indifferent to the true fate of Odysseus. Slime fits the chaos vibe that Epic!Hermes brings to the table more, but Ranboo was more of a helpful indifference during exile.
-
Ghostbur-Polites
Fuckin dies /j
But really, it's the positivity of seeking to greet the world with Open Arms - and honestly doing so really successfully because they are really likeable
There is also a connection of the Lotus Fruit to Blue
-
Schlatt-Lotus Eaters
As I am starting the story at the start of the exile arc, Schlatt is already dead. The equivalent of the lotus fruit is booze lmao
-
Eret-Tiresias
First of all, he is kinda tied to the underworld and is a holder of history on the server. She has the look of a prophet with her eyes, and probably enough gossip to predict the fates. I think people also usually went to Eret for advice and wisdom to an extent, though I can't really remember.
Tiresias is a part of the age old "don't shoot the messenger" party that the Greeks liked, which means he has to be a very neutral party. Eret - after the first death of L'Manberg, became one of the very few true neutral parties on the server.
-
Fundy-Euryloclus
Both Fundy and Tommy in canon were similar to brothers (Eury and Ody are brother-in-laws since Eury is married to Ody's sister)
Fundy also committed acts of betrayal (burning the L'Manberg flag & acting as a spy) that Tommy didn't learn about until the end when they were no longer close (if ever)
-
Kristin-Anticlea
Suggestion from @charlybvnny
Kristin would also work even with the "death goddess" esc characterization because she could be waiting to see her son return to the underworld! But for this AU let's say she's just a spirit who died after the first destruction of L'Manberg or something
-
L'Manberg/Snowchester-Ithaca
I was originally imagining L'Manberg as Ithaca because I wasn't sure where else, but I like Ithaca better! (Suggestion from @charlybvnny)
I'ma make it so in this au that Tommy knows about Snowchester prior to his Exile, as the more positive fate of Snowchester is way better than what is left of L'Manberg. It would be a mash between the loyalty Tommy feels to L'Manberg and his active part in building Ithaca, and the setting of Snowchester.
-
Suitors?
Any thoughts on the Suitors? I can't think of any characters that really match them, so I'm open to suggestions!

StoryShift CocoaPowder doesn't work.
Whenever I try to imagine CocoaPowder in StoryShift, I just see Clover and Chara arguing with each other or trying to kill each other. And it's not in the sweet way that the Classic verions bicker with one another. We'll be ignoring that StoryShift has its own version of the Justice Soul for this discussion.
Their doomed relationship ultimately boils down to this; Chara is a traitor who unjustly escaped their fate. Let me explain.
In StoryShift, Chara wasn't the first human. They were the eighth while Frisk was the ninth. Even though the six children that came before were killed, Chara was spared and adopted by the Dreemurrs while also getting a high-ranking job from Sans as the Royal Judge. Even though a human has formed close and friendly relations with a bunch of high-ranking Monsters, the war hasn't ended. The majority of Monsters still want human blood but befriend Chara anyway, oblivious to their true nature. Chara's identity as a human is (rather poorly but very successfully) kept secret and everyone just keeps waiting for the next human to fall and be murdered even though no one in power supports it.
Sans has been against his decision since day one, Papyrus had walked out on Sans when the decision was made and Toriel and Asgore were literally the ones who adopted Chara. Everyone with an ounce of authority is against killing humans but they do NOTHING about it and I doubt Chara would encourage them to.
Yes, Chara and Asriel were sent by Toriel to protect Frisk (in the Reboot at least) but I still find it unlikely for Clover to get along with Clover in a similar situation, especially considering Chara's blatant misanthropy. Heck, in a fan comic, Chara constantly sabotages Frisk to try and get them killed. This isn't very strong evidence for obvious reasons but when has canon ever stopped this fandom? Besides, I think this trait fits them quite well.
Yes, CocoaPowder works best as a slow burn, with the pair helping each other to move past each other's flaws, such as Clover proving to Chara that their hatred of humans is wrong, but there are limits to such things. At least in Undertale, Chara was the first and Monsterkind's opinion on humans remained pretty consistent after they died. Here, Chara is spared and barely any effort is made to save those who come after.
Clover would be furious at the injustice of Chara being protected and loved by every Monster while every human that came before and every human that would come after them is treated like an enemy. Chara would see Clover's constantly evolving mission to find the Fallen Children as just humanity trying to take away Monsters' freedom again. There'd be no middle ground for the two to stand on.
I just can't visualise them working out. Chara would constantly push Clover's buttons with their actions and opinions while Clover's thin patience would add to Chara's conviction that humans are inherently bad.
But, this is my opinion. If you think otherwise or have evidence to argue against or for me, then please share.

Hello, I'm new to the blog and may I make a few requests? It's okay if you don't want to do all of them or even none of them. I just hope they comply with the request rules.
My first suggestion is a Twisted Wonderland x LP! Athanasia! Reader. The reader is EXTREMELY beautiful since she takes after her mother, Diana, and has her father's beautiful, ethereal, otherworldly jewel eyes. However, she was executed unjustly by said father due to being framed for poisoning her "lovely" older sister Jeanette whom she was always in the shadow of.
My second suggestion is a Twisted Wonderland x WMMAP! Athanasia! Reader. Again, the reader is gorgeous and has jeweled eyes, but this time, she is adored by all, including her father, who is SUPER protective of her.
My third suggestion in a Yandere! Diasomnia x Reader who wears iron to avoid them. The reader knows they're a psycho yandere and wears iron to protect themselves.
Again, it's okay if you don't want to do all or any of them, I just hope I've complied with the rules, I've followed good requesting etiquette, and that I haven't been a bother. Have a great day!
You haven't been a bother at all! I appreciate your effort into looking at the rules and everything! ^^
I saw the first idea and IMMEDIATELY thought of the reader being a mysterious ghost that haunts NRC, so I took it and ran with it, I'm sorry if that's not what you were looking for! But the Yandere Diasomnia is something that I'm definitely gonna have to write once I finish their book, eheheh~
Tws// Mentions of death (murder, specifically), spooky ghosts, too oooh
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
There were tales of ghosts and ghouls, all being passed down to the freshmen late at night in their dorms. Tales that they eventually grew out of, but for their first year, it was terrifying.
There were evidence of ghosts all around school, of course. Some of the staff were deceased, and there were even ghosts infesting the old Ramshackle of a building just on campus. But those ghosts were all good and well, and didn't bother anybody who didn't bother them. These tales were more...horrifying ones. Ghosts that would stick around for centuries after their death for revenge. And once they got revenge on their killer, they'd still lash out in rage at anybody who happened to pass by...ghosts with no eyes, ghosts who could only scream...ghosts that could and would kill.
But the story that everyone collectively feared and loved the most was that of the Jeweled Lady.
Born to a wealthy family, Jeweled Lady (often called "Jewel" by those telling the story) was exceptionally beautiful. Her mother's heavenly looks, and her father's ethereal eyes combining to create a woman who had been receiving offers of marriage from a young age. As kind as she was lovely, Jewel was beloved by the entire kingdom she lived in...but one day her sister, Jeanette, died.
Jeanette was no one of note. She was average-looking, had nothing of interest to say, and did nothing to make people view her in the same lovely light that they did her younger sister. Yet despite all of this, Jeanette was her father's favorite daughter. So once she died, the father claimed that Jewel had poisoned her, and forced a court to execute her.
It was a terrible thing, and soon after her execution, the kingdom fell into a deep, dark depression without her light. Her father and most mysteriously vanished one day, either running away to a new land, or murdered by vengeful folks.
As the story goes, Jewel haunts NRC because the students remind her of better times, times when she had so much to look forward to in life. The students give her hope, it was said, and she hoped that one day she might receive justice for her terrible demise. It was said that one could stumble upon Jewel's ghost early into the morning, just before the sun rose. She liked to hang around the courtyard the most, under blooming trees. But, of course, one could also find her in the halls or the library, longingly looking at all of the stories she couldn't read.
It wasn't uncommon for students to go out and hunt for her, especially the freshmen (despite claiming they didn't believe in fairy-tales, a good many of them fell in love with the mere idea of her). Those who claimed to see her remarked on how lovely her eyes truly were....like jewels sparkling in the moonlight. Which is why, most likely, she was nicknamed "Jewel". Her true name might never be known, lost to the passage of time....
The Beloved Ghost of NRC

Okay, I can’t post any theories right now, but I’m seeing so many posts talking about the new information and images that have been released recently and what people are thinking will happen in season 7 based off them. And how specifically all these ideas and possibilities pertain to Rayla and Aaravos. And I just want to talk about some of my thoughts really quickly, because I am genuinely so curious about the idea of Aaravos and Rayla interacting with and impacting each other more this season.
I mean, I have a lot of complaints about how they handled Viren’s arc and the amount of potential they built up for him that ultimately didn’t culminate to anything. (You’re allowed to disagree with me, I’m still not ready to vocalize my exact thoughts on his writing this past season and, regardless, this post isn’t really about Viren anyways.) And one of the reasons for my overarching disappointment with the handling of his character was the fact that they hinted multiple times from the Through the Moon graphic novel to season 5 at a possible Rayla and Viren interaction or confrontation in the future, or at least more parallels/foils that we’d get to see between the two of them, that led nowhere.
But, now seeing everyone speculating about what’s been put out so far about this upcoming season finale… Seeing that there’s a chance we might see Aaravos and Rayla play more of an important role in each other’s lives this season, I can’t help but to anticipate what’s going to happen next between these two.
There’s just, so much potential.
Like, with the Rayla and Leola trials and themes of receiving judgement parallels, how Rayla and Claudia act as foils/parallels to each other, how Runaan and Aaravos act as parallels/foils to each other as parents, the whole theme of life and death that plays a big part in Aaravos and Rayla’s stories and in Moonshadow culture.
And, of course. The Rayla and Aaravos paralleled themes with “ripples” and what does justice mean and when is killing justified and can you take life without compromising your own moral character and at what point are you going too far to try to obtain justice that you are just repeating the cycles of the past and what’s the proper way to grieve someone who was unjustly taken away from you, etc., etc. (I honestly could write a whole essay between the numerous ways Rayla, Callum, Aaravos, and Viren all sort of parallel each other.)
Like, I’m legitimately so stoked to see what they decide to do with these two, if anything. And from the looks of it, there seems to be a lot more concrete evidence now to indicate that they will, unlike they ended up doing with Viren and Rayla.
Originally, I would have said the relationship dynamics I was most interested in seeing play out this upcoming season would be Aaravos and Terry and Aaravos and Janai. But now seeing that there might be a chance that Aaravos and Rayla’s arcs will intertwine, I might have to move them up to the top of my list.

Lan-Furen's Case and Lan Zhan
A couple of days ago I came across an excellent meta on Lan Xichen over how by not "wanting to know" who is in the right and who is in the wrong, he is able to maintain a schrodinger's cat syndrome and assume the best of everyone. I thought more about what that then meant for Lan Wangji who visited his mother publicly every month.
Lan Wangji is an extremely righteous character. He has a temper against those that he deems as unrighteous. He can absolutely not take it if someone is using their privilege to oppress others; or if, someone is killing innocents for baseless, useless reasons.
Someone like Lan Wangji would not continue loving a person even if they act for their own gains, petty revenge or selfishly. Simply stating, he can't continue loving a person who has left the road of righteousness.
In his mother's case, it doesn't seem as if bigger forces (such as sect politics) were involved; but it was something personal. We do not know what that something was, thus we cannot judge. Thus, he cannot judge.
I believe his coming over to the Gentian House every month shows perhaps the most important characteristic of his:
Lan WangJi slowly shook his head, “One should not comment without understanding the whole picture.”
I find Lan Wangji and Nie Mingjue's insistence upon their sense of justice similar. Even in dire situations, where it seems stupid to act upon your sense of justice, when everyone around you is acting unjustly, they will insist - Lan Wangji stuck in a cave, injured, protecting someone who is being harassed by those who hold power, hunted down by enemies who are much higher on the social ladder, own much more money, and are many in numbers, despite knowing, inevitably it may cause his own demise and fall. Yet, he doesn't care about that. This happens twice. That's his sense of righteousness and justice. Similarly, Nie Mingjue is ready to kill himself as punishment for killing someone who saved him, yet he must kill Guangyao for killing his clansmen and stuff (so much killing with this guy.)
But Lan Wangji is better, as his justice is embedded with empathy, patience and true efforts to understand the entire story before placing his judgement. He's not free from making false judgements, and societal judgement does affect him.
But, he's not holding to any particular judgement to the ends of his life. He is willing to accept new facts and reform his opinion, reframe his thoughts. He's like that guy on twitter who tweeted something tone-deaf in 2012, but is completely against that in 2023, as now he has new information.
So, Lan Wangji doesn't incriminate people. He doesn't hold personal grudges. He is prone to hatred, jealousy and the stuff - that is what makes him human. But he rarely acts upon it, preferring to remove himself from the situation.
He is such a person.
So, it cannot be known whether the glass was filled and then emptied, or whether it was empty and then it was filled; what I mean is we can't judge from just a half-full/half-empty glass of what the context was; similarly, we can't judge from just the other's actions and situations alone of what the intention, purpose, reasoning, etc was. We can't judge evil or bad that easily, and with all those who were involved in Madam Lan's case - all their souls dispersed, and Lan Qiren being Lan Qiren, Lan Wangji can only judge on what he knows.
What he knows is that his mother was a lovely woman and he was happy to see her; so he visits her still. He is not accepting her actions, or incriminating them, as she is not there to defend herself or to accuse others. He doesn't know if the clan was wrong or if his mother was. I believe, with Lan Wangji's character, that he's strong enough to face the actions of those who he loves.
It’d be inconvenient for him to be more specific, such as Lan XiChen or Lan QiRen.
Lan WangJi answered assuredly, “No.”
Wei WuXian was quite confident in Lan WangJi’s answer. To him, Lan WangJi wasn’t the kind of person who’d hide or run away from the truth. If he denied it, that meant it must have been wrong. He didn’t like to lie, either. In Wei WuXian’s opinion, if someone asked Lan WangJi to lie, he’d rather silence himself and not talk at all. Thus, Wei WuXian immediately excluded the possibility of the gravedigger being these two.
So, this. If Lan Wangji felt any of Wei Wuxian's actions were uncalled for, or unrighteous and cruel, he wouldn't have loved him. But, even by the logic of Great Grudges, Wei Wuxian had every right to kill the Wens (the SSC ones).
But that's beyond the point. The point is that Lan Wangji is stuck in a situation where he can't cast judgment, but still, his actions reflect what he knows and has gathered first-hand; what his actions show is pure love, patience, a strong, but sensitive heart waiting for another chance to understand the truth, yet knowing and accepting that it will never come, and being at peace with that.

Mao (´ ω `♡)
Tumblr media
Disclamer: Mentions of alcohol and, in general, bad attitudes towards one's own body. None of this is to be taken seriously, only in a joking way. the author is such a clown that he makes jokes even in dis. Enjoy reading at your own risk, and thank you for being you. Stay safe (*¯ ³¯*)♡
A categorical welcome (and sympathy) to all who have chosen to read this blog now. I felt it was time to share with you the major crash of our universe.
As you can tell by the hairstyle defying the laws of physics andwith a large cocktail straw it's MK, but it's not as simple as it seems.
For starters, we decided to give him a name (but made sillier than the creators of the cartoon did) and now, within our universe, his full name is Mao Kwan.
At the moment he is one of the most powerful people in the world of this universe, everyone loves him and is a little bit afraid of him. How did this happen?
//disclaimer: the events of this universe have no relation to our world and events, and some similarities are coincidental//
brief background: The personification of all that is evil and vile, in a coincidence of some circumstances, was a monkey, namely Sun Wukong. For 5 thousand years it tormented the whole world, and so tormented that the industrial revolution occurred and full-fledged states also began to form relatively recently. He was hunted by Gods, Half-Gods, Humans, and Demons, but he cared too little for these endeavors (and they often ended badly for everyone but him). In addition to the monkey, there were crowds of cannibal demons that appeared with each new human victim, unjustly killed. It was easier to fight them (which was done mostly by half-gods), but they took quantity. And people have gotten used to the constant attacks, when suddenly, news arrives that the monkey has been killed. And, even more shocking to everyone, it wasn't a God/Half-God or Demon that killed, it was a Man.
As you understand, this man was Mao. After this news, the world began a celebration that does not end to this day, because, can say, that Good has triumphed over Evil (although there are still a lot of problems within that world, but I will talk about that a little later).
At the same moment, in the state in which Mao and dwelt, there is a change of government and the new ruler takes him under his control as a symbol of Peace and Justice. Under him the main team is organized to fight the undead and the remnants of the evil of the past years.
The victory over Sun Wukong marked the beginning of progress and everyone was grateful to Mao directly, making him the symbol of the best. However, he was not so simple
Interesting facts without serious spoilers (dis: things said below are not to be taken seriously or personally. All noses are beautiful. It's just his own vision of himself):
He's a raging alcoholic and he's just as delusional as the author, only the author is sober and he's drunk
Nose complexes (looks like a bent leg)
Has problems with aggression (and with the doctor). Drinks pills with alcohol because it tastes better that way
Failed a major exam, but still became super rich and famous
Wanted to be a confectionery-doctor, but became a multi-billionaire and heir to the bigweld industries corporation
His parents told him to shove your money up your ass and he did, but not to himself…..
He's been isolated from society, but society loves him
Became a national meme and hero because he killed a monkey
He has a basement he doesn't know about, two dogs he doesn't know about either, he has friends and a partner he ALSO doesn't know about. He only sees problems or his nose
First you see the nose, and then you see Mao
Squidward kinnie
When he's sad, he admires the stick… And his victims
His dad kins Gregor Zamza of "reincarnations"
Tumblr media
Thank you for reading through to the end of the post! The clown author tried very hard, as English is not his first language (well, the artwork is considered labor too) and it's very important to him. Thanks again for your attention! If anyone is interested, please write in anonymous messages to whom to dedicate the next post or tell more about Maochka. Take care σ(≧ε≦σ) ♡

Hey, sorry, if you had any thoughts about the story of yanxi palace I would love to read them! I am watching the kdrama and I am loving it! I love all these awful women ( I also love that there are like three men with horrible hairstyle)
Hey!
Omg where to start on Yanxi. It's one of my favorite cdramas, and I watched it during my Minglan-Yanxi-Ruyi era, which was super dominated by shows that were primarily about women, whether that was like, in the harem or just regular courtyard drama, and it was part of those three shows that like, really informed how I like to write about historical women in my own fic and original fiction.
Yanxi is a really awesome drama in a way because the drama lets Wei Yingluo be just as cruel and vicious and petty and vindictive and eye for an eye as she can be, and it doesn't judge her for having these urges and her anger and all her cruelty. It doesn't judge her for choosing violence or wanting to choose violence! Or doing what it takes to survive! It's not about being classy or about being good.
But at the same time, Wei Yingluo cares about other women. She forms really strong and deep attachments to other women (and the other women in this drama ARE ALSO motivated by the other women in their lives, whether they're good or evil, this is a world where women are friends and enemies and have tension and just! they interact! they exist in a world together! it's a shitty world for all of them from top to bottom, but that doesn't mean they stop caring about each other!) and Yingluo is allowed to love and love deeply.
Like, centrally, this is illuminated by Yingluo's love for her older sister, Wei Yingning, and her desire to seek justice for Yingning's death. I remember looking all that she's doing, especially that reveal at the very end of the drama and just, bawling because Yingluo loves her sister so much. She was a little girl with no power, no connections, no real ability except her own determination, and she looked at the injustice of her older sister's death, and went "fuck that, I want whoever to did this to bleed, I want him to choke on it," and then for the next twenty-four years of her life, never forgot it. She electrocuted his mother who ordered her sister killed! She repeatedly humiliated Hongzhou, and when she realized that Qianlong wouldn't kill his half brother without like, some REALLY grave crime, Yingluo settled in for the long haul to make sure that Hongzhou would be pushed into a position where he felt like he had to revolt and force Qianlong to kill him.
Like, for everyone else in this show, Yingning was no one important. She was just a servant. Yes, one who died unjustly, but by the standards of the day, Hongzhou being "willing" to take her as a concubine after death would've been enough. It legally and socially wipes away the wrongdoing he did. Everyone else considered that whole thing finished! But for Yingluo, her sister was her world, and she was willing to go so far and do so much because her sister was taken from her.
idk! I think about this so much! Unhinged Wei Yingluo thoughts central at this blog!
:D thanks for the ask!

Question, how comes everyone forgets all the good Bi-Han has done as soon as his death is mentioned? Hanzo has killed people, repeatedly over and over again, due to his vengeance but nobody outright calls him evil.
Bi-Han’s backstory is incredibly tragic once you think about it, but its not nearly as focused on when referring to his character. Hanzo’s tragedy is his character while Bi-Han’s tragedy is more of a “fun fact” category.
I just don’t understand why people think Bi-Han is so evil and irredeemable. Even in the intros for MK1, yes he was being arrogant and rude but that doesnt mean he’s irredeemable? Asshole ≠ Evil. But if you check the comments everyones like “theres the evilness, cant wait for noob saibot”, as if Bi-Han has 0 positive traits.
And also, how come people ignore what Scorpion did because Bi-Han was a “evil” person. He was hardly evil and he was on the path to redemption, just like Scorpion not too long ago. Scorpion killed Bi-Han brutally over a crime he did not commit, thats wrong no matter how much you try and break your back to excuse. Yes he promised to protect Kuai Liang as payment, but barely anybody addresses it in the games.
Even this quote from the intro dialogues
Noob: I was killed unjustly
Raiden: and for that, Raiden lost my trust
Noob: that is not justice.
You can TELL that Noob is still pissed at his death and at everyone for suddenly having amnesia over it.
All of this! ALL OF THIS!! No one ever talks about Scorpion being a cold blooded assassin too but like spoilers the Shirai Ryu are not the good guys. They’re assassins just like the Lin Kuei. Just because Hanzo had a wife and child does not mean he was a good man just like being a dick doesn’t man Bi-Han a bad man. He’s had an unimaginable life full of pain, suffering, gore and death from a very, very young age how can you not expect him to be a bit of a prick? It’s most likely his defense mechanism for dealing with all the horror he’s seen in his life. They’re two sides of the same coin. I don’t know people who think Bi-Han is evil rub me the wrong way tbh and I assume the majority of them have never played or watched a play through of MKM: SZ, which I really encourage everyone to do at some point. Is he kind of dumb and easy to manipulate? Yes. Is he evil? No. If he was evil he wouldn’t have gone after the amulet to stop Shinnok, he also wouldn’t have been worried about his soul when Raiden mentions it corrupted. Bi-Han literally saves Earthrealm from Shinnok and some how he’s the bad guy?? Whereas Scorpion never saves anyone and he’s a good guy?? Make it make sense. Please note I’m not trying to shit on Hanzo I’m just pointing out that he has done really bad shit too but he’s not held accountable for it.
Another thing I think we need to point out is Scorpion’s inability to control his rage always leads to a bad situation. Quan Chi manipulates him, he kills Bi-Han, boom now he has Noob hunting down his ass. Gets revenge on Quan Chi, now everyone who was a revenant has no chance to become human again, he dooms so many kharacters to live as mindless servants, but please tell me about him being your precious sunflower who’s never done anything wrong. ….I’m sorry that was kind of mean.
All I’m trying to get at is that it’s not fair that Bi-Han is labeled as evil just because he’s an arrogant douche. Scorpion has done just as bad of shit if not worse things than Bi-Han has so if you’re going to insist Bi-Han is evil then you have to admit Scorpion is too.
Again please don’t take this as me hating on or dragging Scorpion, that’s not my intention, it’s just to show that no matter how kind they seem an assassin is still an assassin and does horrible things.
Also Noob being salty is totally justified and I’d be salty AF too.

Demonizing people for praying in their desperation is fucking cruel and evil
For so many years I as a nonbeliever had to listen to ppl talk about how "there are no atheists in foxholes" and that hardships makes everyone religious (not always true), but now when a bunch of desperate people is, in fact, turning to religion to stay strong (like they told me again & again "everybody" does), they are demonized for it.
Somehow doing what "everybody does" is suddenly wrong when it's not a religion they approve of.
That's what's so evil about this propaganda & islamophobia, because otherwise seeing people praying and calling out to god would probably humanize them, especially to their fellow abrahamic monotheists in america. But with the idea planted in their head that "islam = 9/11", it does the opposite.
Especially giving ppl shit for referring to the war dead as 'martyrs' & reading evil intentions into that, or other sayings about finding strength through faith in god. Oh golly gee, why would people who are constantly suffering injustice find comfort and strength in a religion that says unjust deaths are compensated with special honor in the hereafter? Why could a grieving parent possibly like the idea that their unjustly killed child is now getting a hero's welcome in paradise?
I read an article about an arab college student getting in trouble simply for having Quran Quotes on their facebook.
Would you assume someone is a white supremacist because they post bible quotes? Would you assume a grieving parent doesn't really mind the death of their child because they are saying that their dead child is "with Jesus and the angels?"
Probably not. Heck, if you're religious yourself, you might even see it as a sign of being a good person!
Rightly or not, believers all of the world associate their religion with goodness, justice, community & family. So, why not assume that when muslims speak about their faith, they probably mean the same?
And don't come at me with some bullshit about "they would kill you", as if the worst muslims were representative of all. If we judged Christians by the worst Christians, they wouldn't come away any better. (case in point: The Christians funding the war.)
Suffering ppl don't have to make their grief & their coping with that grief palatable to foreign onlookers.

Sidney Blumenthal on the iconography of the Trump-era GOP. It's weird, but it really seems to work on the white Evangelicals who are the wellspring for MAGAdom. "All told, so far, Trump faces 91 criminal counts in four jurisdictions. Three other elaborate trials will follow his January 6 case, if it is scheduled any time in January or February. His trial date in New York is tentatively on the calendar for 25 March 2024. In that case, he is charged by the Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg “for falsifying New York business records in order to conceal damaging information and unlawful activity from American voters before and after the 2016 election. During the election, Trump and others employed a ‘catch and kill scheme to identify, purchase, and bury negative information about him and boost his electoral prospects. Trump then went to great lengths to hide this conduct, causing dozens of false entries in business records to conceal criminal activity, including attempts to violate state and federal election laws.” But Bragg has suggested he would postpone this trial to allow the January 6 federal case to be first.
Trump’s trial in the Mar-a-Lago presidential records case is on the calendar in Florida for 20 May 2024, where he is charged with the illegal and willful theft of national security documents and obstruction of justice. Even more than during the gripping performance of his various indictments, the theatre of his trials will subsume politics. There will not be another campaign, some semblance of a normal campaign of the past, a fantasy campaign, separate from Trump’s trials. The scenes from courtroom to courtroom will overlap with the primaries – the final ones taking place on 4 June 2024 – only intensifying the zeal of his base. And then Trump’s battle with the law will engulf the general election. The trials are a continuous spectacle, featuring an all-star cast in far-flung locations. Political reporters are barely heard from, while legal analysts fill the airwaves. Every twist and turn, every motion, every argument is the breathless lead story. Everyone, from prosecutors to co-conspirators, named and unnamed, indicted and unindicted, are characters in Trump’s new reality show – part violent action movie (the insurrection), part sleazy porn flick (Stormy Daniels), part conspiracy thriller (Mar-a-Lago), and part mafia drama (the fake elector racket).
But the Trump trials are more than his means; they are his ends. The trials are not the sideshow, but the heart and soul of Trump’s campaign. They have become his essential fundraising tool to finance his defense, his platform for whipping up his followers into a constant state of excitement, and his instrument for dominating the media to make himself the center of attention and blot out coverage of anyone else. The trials are the message. They are the drama around which Trump plays his role as the unjustly accused victim, whose rights are trampled and who is the martyr for his oppressed “deplorables”. He is taking the slings and arrows for them. The narcissist is the self-sacrificing saint. The criminal is the angel. The liar is the truth-teller. If any Republican lapses in faithfulness, they are more than a mere doubter or skeptic, but a betrayer and traitor. Trump’s trials are the rigorous trial of his followers’ faith. Rejection of temptation in an encounter with an impertinent fact that might raise a qualm shows purity of heart. Seduction by fact must be resisted. The siren song of critical thinking must be cast out as sin. Trump’s convictions are the supreme test of his followers’ strength of conviction."

I managed to get enough storage on my phone to play through the rest of travel memories so here's what I though of them
Ocean Sovereign: WHY IS IT SO LONG? Sorry, it was just surprising it went on for 20 stages when usually the events are just 12 stages. That, and there was so much stuff going on. We had Genevieve and Smokey's entire feud, Fleur and his gift, and Beryl's whole deal, it just felt like they were shoving everything into one story. But I guess I shouldn't be too hard since it was the third event ever. Beryl and Raphael's friendship carried it in the beginning, and then around stage 15 everything really started picking up steam. The entire Heat Wave section was actually really good and got me reinvested in the story. Which leads us to...
Endgame: A surprising improvement! Despite having no battles, the story was concise and gave everyone their own time to shine. Plus the "Vice wanted to be a Navigator" part hits different with Keen Sight around. Rating: Beach Episode/10
Dunefire Strike: Now I get why everyone praises this event, because it was that good. The best way I can describe it is like watching an action movie. It's just a fight for survival, and you can FEEL that so well. Everyone coming together to take down Hylinger gave me goosebump man. 10/10 Putting the rest under cut because I wrote too much lol.
Letters From The Skies: As someone who read Paloma's file before playing this event, learning just HOW they died fucked me up. Literally had to put down my phone and walk around. Pittman is okay, but he is naive to the fact true justice can't be achieved in the state Lumopolis is in. Those two aside, the courier sideplot was really cute, and the part were the letters fell from the skies gave me chills. Also, I have huge respect for Lin Guild now. Rating: I'm crying/10
Gloom of the night: It was alright, but im asking this right now. Why does everyone seem sympathetic to Rein? When I first heard of him I though he was just a guy who got hit with the ire of Lumopolis but,, He literally gave out enhancers that mutated people into Eclipsites, tried to assassinate Istavn to take over Umbraton, and almost destroyed the dam protecting the city from flooding. Is it because he's considered attractive??? IS THAT IT- Rating: TRUE ORDER CAMEO/10 Aurora Aeterna: Wow, I don't think I've ever hated a character as much in this game as Hedy. First off the pros: Cordy wasn't that bad as I thought, she's just got the short end of the stick considering her artwork. Paloma appeared so that's a plus. Pittman's learning but you can't undo a lifetime of conditioning in a few weeks so he still slips up. Shoutout to Carleen trying to get justice (even if it is vetoed). Now the cons: Hedy fucking sucks man. I already didn't like her when she first appeared (she was giving me off vibes), but then when she was telling Pittman he should stay in his place, AND THEN the entire veiled death threat to Paloma, WHEN HEDY LITERALLY READ HER FILE AND THUS KNOWNS HER FAMILY WERE UNJUSTLY KILLED.... She's so lucky she's a video game character. Sure she "improves" by the end, but unless some major character development occurs, Hedy is bottom of the tier list. But Hedy ain't the only one who's earned my goddamn Ire. Let's talk about Schwartz shall we? For being the so called ruler of Lumopolis, he sure is a fucking puppet head for the nobles. Maintain order at all cost, he says. But what happens when that order causes another injustice to occur? That lets another innocent girl like Paloma to lose her family? That lets another child like Beryl to be experimented on? Or that lets another scummy noble get away with their crime? Reinhardt gets a pass because she definitely was putting up an act about how she truly feels surrounding Illumina's experiments, and Bethlehem was trying to keep everyone in the room calm. Rating: Upper Lumopolis burns at dawn/10

The entirety of the GOF aftermath in OOTP pisses me off so much. A student was killed, and yet there is absolutely jack done to discover what happened. The tournament was supposed to be safe, but it clearly wasn’t. If they didn’t believe Harry’s story about Voldemort returning, then they don’t believe his story of how Cedric died, but it does appear that Harry himself is involved in Cedric’s death since like, they clearly can’t believe the portkey story (since the literal basis of this was that it was an attempt to resurrect Voldemort which the Ministry rejected) so how are they thinking Cedric died and Harry returned with his body? A student is possibly involved in another student’s death, yet the Ministry is totally chill with sending Harry off to Hogwarts because why be worried about the possibility another student dies; I’m not surprised, since Hagrid was suspected of committing a homicide while at school and everyone seemingly went “Yeah, it’s not safe to other students for him to remain in classes, so let’s just put him on the exact same grounds and give him a job,” but what on Earth is going on in the adults’ brains in regard to student safety?! This is nowhere close to the only time they’ve failed the students, COS comes to mind, but like, how is everyone going “Sucks for Cedric and all, but who really cares about how he died?” Is nobody pointing out that Cedric deserved justice or at least an investigation? Am I just really weird for thinking that if one of my classmates was murdered, I’d want their killer caught?
So, I went and actually looked into the Ministry's response to Cedric because I'd forgotten how they tried to explain it and wow, they really tried to pretend it was just a freak accident? That he just died in the tournament? How? Why? That's truly bonkers. They know an escaped convict was on the grounds of Hogwarts all year and he's conveniently not around for further questioning or testimony, so the ministry could have easily pointed the finger at BCJ and called it a day. How was everyone at Hogwarts who didn't believe Harry content to just shrug their shoulders and say, "yeah, guess something in that maze must have killed him. What exactly killed him isn't important. Might have been Harry, but oh well, I guess we'll never know." What?!
The Hagrid situation is wild too. Everyone but Dumbledore is convinced that Hagrid opened the CoS and killed Myrtle. And I don't think anyone imagined that little Hagrid was a cold blooded killer and a bigot, they just thought he was a kid with an unnatural predilection for dangerous beasts, but still. You'd think they'd take precautions. But they were all content with having him look after the Forbidden Forest full of dangerous beasts, including a nest of Acromentulas who supposedly killed Myrtle.
Also once his name was cleared he should have been able to own a wand, right? He was expelled unjustly, had his wand snapped unjustly, and then was thrown into Azkaban unjustly, and when the truth came out the Ministry was just like "lol whoops" with no kind of restitution. Justice for Hagrid.
The wizarding world is so wack.

THE UNRIGHTEOUS JUDGE!
THE UNRIGHTEOUS JUDGE
2 Samuel 12:1-9

We know how easy it is to judge or to be judged, unfairly. Unfortunately, we judge people daily based on what we see and hear, not considering their actions according to our idea. Funnily, we do not even consider that, we may very well be casting the first stone when we are more guilty of what we’re judging others for.
The Parable of the Persistent Widow in Luke 18:1-8 and the story of Nathan rebuking David both highlight themes of justice and accountability, though in different contexts.
In our text, the prophet Nathan tells King David a parable about a rich man who unjustly takes a poor man’s only lamb. This story is meant to convict David of his sin with Bathsheba and Uriah. When David reacts with anger towards the rich man in the parable, Nathan reveals that David himself is the guilty party
David, unwittingly, passed sentence on himself when he stood as the unrighteous judge in the text. It was in David's hand, what his letters were in the hands of the brave but unfortunate Uriah, whom he had killed because of his wife, Bathsheba.
God wants and expects us to rebuke or correct others but in love and compassion, not in judgment as David did. When we correct in spirit-led approach, we will accomplish much more than when we do so in self-righteous judgment.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:1 categorically not to judge! But, as weak humans, we can’t help ourselves. We judge with impunity!
The parable of an unrighteous judge who didn’t give special treatment in Luke 18, nor considered anybody, great or small but was effectively worn down by persistent prayer.
We are so quick to jump to conclusions on hearing something that we don’t consider the other side of the coin, we take one person’s story, taking sides to decide who should be castigated and condemned.
David didn’t for a moment think of his sin against God and humanity and was quick to jump to condemning and passing sentence by decreeing “The man—shall surely die” telling us that David saw him as a very bad man, who deserves to die. But the law did not sentence a sheep-stealer to death, let us hear it: instead, Exodus 22:1 says if a man steals an ox or a sheep, he shall restore Five Oxen for an ox, and Four Sheep for a sheep.
Ironically, David passed the severest punishment to what he perceived as a sin, without considering what he had done as one.
We have a habit of explicitly judging the characters of others and their action but Nathan’s parable, presented as a legal case, was aimed at getting David to pass the verdict on himself unwittingly.
The Bible’s command that we do not judge others does not mean we cannot show discernment. Immediately after Jesus says, “Do not judge,” He says, “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs” in Matthew 7:6.
Watch how we criticize and condemn the people we come across. We judge people based on their clothing, speech, looks and behaviour without compassionately considering why they are like that.
David passed judgment confidently until Nathan declared “you are the man, what awful words that pierced David’s heart, aroused his conscience, and brought him to his knees in repentance. The sincerity and depth of his penitent sorrow are evinced by the Psalms he composed in Psalm 32:1-11 and he was forgiven.
David may have never thought of the consequences of his actions with Beersheba, hence his high character for piety, but his deplorable fall was calculated to do great injury.
David was not condemned, according to his view of what justice demanded but David was truly concerned about justice, when not blinded by his passion seen in 2 Samuel 12:5. don’t be the unrighteous judge.
PRAYER: Righteous judge and father, help me to judiciously, and fairly treat everyone as you would have me do with humility and grace in Jesus’ name, amen.
Shalom

BIG GOVT, BIG PHARMA & MEDICAL MAFIA Conspire To Execute Innocent Man In Texas For Murder Via The Patently Fake Shaken Baby Syndrome
Posted on October 16, 2024 by State of the Nation
Everyone, please, we need to save this innocent Texas man from execution tomorrow by the tyrannical Big Govt, Big Pharma and Medical Mafia!
Tumblr media
SPECIAL NOTE: The following recent posts were just published by SOTN today in view of the great likelihood that a falsely accused man in Texas will be executed tomorrow after his contrived murder conviction for supposedly inflicting Shaken Baby Syndrome on his two-year-old daughter in 2002.
Recent Posts

SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME: Another Cover-up By Big Pharma For Medical Infanticide Via Fatal Vaccines
Texas man to be unjustly executed for the utterly debunked Shaken Baby Syndrome when…..
What’s the crucial point here?
One man’s great sacrifice, unless we can save him from capital punishment in one day, has the potential to blow this ongoing horrendous medical scam wide open, in either case.
Why?
Because his flagrant murder by the state of Texas represents such a miscarriage of justice that folks everywhere will see the grotesque legal travesty for what it truly is, THAT’S WHY!
And, then, perhaps people in all 50 states will understand that they, too, can be falsely charged with such an absurd concocted crime and be incarcerated for life after their baby dies from being jabbed 5 times with different vaccines that killed the newborn.
Please, sent this exposé out everywhere—POST-HASTE!!!  Thank You.

GODLY CHARACTER: A PRODUCT OF PASSION AND DESIRE FOR GOD 1
12 ABISHAI SON OF ZERUIAH DESTROYED 18,000 EDOMITES IN THE VALLEY OF SALT.
13 He placed army garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became David’s subjects. In fact, the Lord made David victorious wherever he went.
14 So David reigned over all Israel and DID WHAT WAS JUST AND RIGHT FOR ALL HIS PEOPLE."
1 Chronicles 18:12-14 (NLT)
• In this piece, we want to look at one or two things that could be learnt and emulated in the life of David—the King of Israel.
- A leader should passionately have a quest to raise others. Every believer is primarily expected to bring others to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:18,19). You are saved to serve!
- And beyond leading others to Christ Jesus, you are to disciple or mentor them, prepare or groom them to be useable vessels in God's hand.
- Some people are looking up to you, your life is an example for others to follow, or to pattern their lives after.
- If you compromised your faith in Christ Jesus, you had let God down. Thus, wherever you may find yourself, you are God's representative.
- One thing out of other good things that was found in David's life is, he had the ability to train or raise others, to do whatever he himself had done.
- Our text says, Abishai son of Zeruiah destroyed eighteen thousand Edomites in the valley of salt (1 Chronicles 18:12).
- One of the signs of good leadership is the ability to discover the strength, the hidden or latent potentialities, of the people under your leadership. And being able to help them in developing the potentials and be able to do or more of whatever you do.
• The people under David's leadership, who were said to be Men of valour, were discontented people when they came to him (1 Samuel 22:2), who seemed not to have a future; but their relationships with David brought a change to their lives and destiny. They became mighty and great men—people of great exploits.
- The same thing happened in the earthly Ministry of Jesus Christ. The Disciples who turned the then known world upside down were nobodies, mere fishermen. But their relationship or union with Christ Jesus brought a change to everything about them and their lives.
- It was attested by the Jewish leaders that they, the Apostles, were unlearned men, but what they heard them speak baffled them, then they, the religious leaders, concluded that the association or relationship of the Disciples with Christ Jesus made them who they are (Acts 4:13).
• Another good attribute of leadership found in the Bible passage of our text is that David was fair to everyone (1 Chronicles 18:14 NLT).
- Fairness and justice should be the hallmark of a good leader. David would not want anyone to be treated unjustly. And would not want to expedite what he even knows God wanted him to have.
- A young Amalekite man who attributed the killing of Saul to himself was commanded to be slained by David, despite the fact that Saul was after David's life when he was alive. He could have rejoiced and rewarded the young man for executing his archenemy, who did not want him to be enthroned (2 Samuel 1:1-16; 2 Samuel 4:10).
- Some persons went to killed Saul's son who succeeded his father and brought his head to David, thinking they would be commended, but he, David, instructed that they should be killed (2 Samuel 4:5-12).
- Also, when David and his Men defeated those who invaded their Base in Ziklag, and they pursued and recovered all that belong to them, and with other spoils or booties (1 Samuel 30:18-20).
- Some of his men suggested that those who were fagged out that could not go with them should not be given part of the booties or spoils (1 Samuel 30:21,22).
- But David disagreed:
23 BUT DAVID SAID, "My brethren, YOU SHALL NOT DO SO WITH WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN US, who has preserved us and delivered into our hand the troop that came against us. 24 "For who will heed you in this matter? BUT AS HIS PART IS WHO GOES DOWN TO THE BATTLE, SO SHALL HIS PART BE WHO STAYS BY THE SUPPLIES; THEY SHALL SHARE ALIKE" (1 Samuel 30:23,24 NKJV).
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- If you are sick in your body as you read this piece, I declare your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- Whatever is not planted in your body, that is working against your health, is cursed and completely uprooted, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Peace!
TO BE CONTINUED
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
