A headcanon i really like is that Odin started despising Loki more and more because he displayed a lot of the qualities he wished Thor would have had. Thor was supposed to be the wise king while Loki was supposed to be the naive puppet sitting on another realms throne, but Loki's intelligence was too great to let himself be controlled like that, thus destroying Odins plan without even knowing it.

Was thinking about who in the twst cast would be a sobbing mess at their wedding
Riddle. No. He'd be fluctuating between super happy and trying to maintain some decorum, and end up red faced half the time, but I dont think he'd cry.
Trey. Pretty emotionally stable guy. He'd probably get misty eyed if he felt it but otherwise no.
Cater. Yeah. Not like, super ugly crying (he needs to look good in his wedding photos) but I think he'd shed a few tears.
Ace. Yes. He'd be all cocky about it right up until the vows, then he'd start balling.
Deuce. Yes. I think he'd be fine until either his mum or his spouse started crying, then he'd break.
Leona. No, he'd just be a smug bastard the whole day. Not saying he wouldn't love his spouse, he'd just be insufferable about how great they are.
Ruggie. I think he could swing either way. Like he's had a hard life so he'd know how to not show venerability, but if it was a smaller more intimate ceremony where he'd feel safe to cry I think he would.
Jack. No. But his tail would be a blur the entire day.
Azul. Absolutely. Man craves affection. Getting married? He'd be a MESS.
Jade. No. Mr playing at being a butler would be the perfect gentlemen the entire time.
Floyd. No. He would be bouncing off the walls though.
Kalim. Absolutely. He has no qualms about showing his emotions he would let loose on the day.
Jamil. Yes. He'd hate that he's crying in front of people, but someone choosing HIM?? He would not be able to hold it in.
Vil. As fun as it is to imagine getting married is what breaks Vil's mask, no. He's a professional, he's not going to ruin his makeup.
Rook. Yes. One look at his spouse in their wedding attire and he'd be on one knee spouting poetry about their beauty, tears running down his face.
Epel. Yup. He'd probably not be happy about it, but he does cry a lot in the main story. Sorry Epel XD
Idia. Yes, but probably more from being just kind of generally overwhelmed by the whole thing. Like his anxiety gets the better of him once or twice.
Ortho. No? I would assume once he's lived some more life and gotten adult body upgrades he'd probably want to find romance. Maybe he'd make and install a crying unit just so he can experience it?
Malleus. No. But I think it would hit him AFTER the wedding. Like he's at home with his new spouse, looks over at them and it just kind of hits him. Starts ugly crying.
Silver. Hmmmm no. He's a pretty serious guy, and I think he'd get misty eyed, maybe a tear or two, but I don't think he'd be the sort to really cry that hard.
Sebek. Yes lol. He'd try so hard to be the serious mature husband but man cannot control his emotions. He'd have tears running like a faucet all day (and denying it all the time).
Lilia. No, he'd be all big beaming smiles. His sons' weddings however... he'd be a waterfall of tears the entire day. An absolute wreck of a man he'd be so proud.
Feel free to add any thoughts. There's a few characters I'm not super knowledgeable on, happy to read any counterarguments/extra thoughts people have :D

Ive seen some people say they felt like Jon and Martin's relationship happened too quickly and sort of out of nowhere and I get where that is coming from but I think its important to remember what the tapes are. They are a sort of extension off the fears, part of a web spun be the Spider and, arguably, part of the eye. They turn on whenever something important to the fears, to Jon's spiral into the Watcher's Crown's lynchpin, happens. They don't care about love. It might've seemed unimportant in the beginning, and by the time it became clear how powerful their love was it was too late to stop it from happening. And that's when the tapes started turning on for those kinds of moments as well. That's what I think.

I know that there are crk x reader fics where the reader is human but gets transformed into a cookie and transported the crk universe, but I wonder…what about a reader who can do both? Like due to some sort of power or item they somehow got (maybe through the game), they can transport in and out of the crk universe willingly. And since, when in the crk universe, they turn into an ordinary cookie, no one really suspects anything. …at first, that is.
idk just something to contemplate

(I am only talking about the movie not the live show)
I had to think about how Brad was really into the Frankenstein place when he saw that it frightened Janet. The second she started to enjoy herself he began to hate it and tried to keep her in her place.
One of the more fascinating moments is obviously how he tries his macho bs with Frank but it doesn’t work.
Frank literally lets him yell and then pokes fun of Brads display of toxic masculinity by playing into his sexual insecurities. Which is really at the heart of a lot of Brads behaviour (IMO). He is incredibly insecure (implied gay) and completely unable to break out of the system he finds himself in.
Frank picks up on those insecurities and forces Brad to confront them throughout the entire movie.
And it’s interesting how Brads behaviour changes after having sex for the first time. He isn’t as aggressive anymore he even displays submissive behaviour/tendencies especially towards Frank.
Which is something continued even when he tries to be more aggressive again during Planet Janet he gets turned into a statue.
His floorshow number is literally about the conflict he feels between the way he is supposed to be (sexuality, gender) and how he actually wants to express himself something Frank is forcing out of him.
He in the end is the one who says "what’s his crime?" And that obviously can be read in a very different context when you consider that Brad is gay/bi. Literally having to watch the person who changed him into his true self get murdered in front of him. It could be interpreted as his first experience with homophobia now that the story is over. And all that is left is darkness (superheroes).
Because don’t forget Brad is the one who judged people who were different from him very harshly in the beginning (The motorcyclists). And both him and Janet are implied Republicans so now he has to deal with the fact that he has become "the other" who will be judged the way he judged others.
There is obviously some more subtext that can be read into it that I want to write down in the future about Frank being a creator/god/jesus metaphor. These are just some thoughts I had after watching this movie again

What if Agatha didn't know Rio was death?
We've seen, thanks to everyone else, that it's not obvious to them that Rio is death.
It was obvious to us the audience, because we could piece together all the little things that went into the reveal of Rio being death.
But what if it's not obvious right away?
What if Agatha fell in love with Rio, they raised Nicholas together, then he died.
He died and Rio had to show her true face, had to do her job.
Not only would Agatha have just lost a son, but also lost the woman she loves, because how could she trust Rio now?
Rio, who wouldn't break the rules just once to save Nicholas. Rio, who never said anything to Agatha about her job, until it was needed.
Imagine that being how Agatha learns that Rio is Death, and it breaks her heart for an entirely different reason than loosing her son.

if you know me, you know that i love sailor moon. i love it more than a normal person, i know almost everything there is to know about it. it has been with me at every stage of my life so far, been a part of who i have become each step of the way. as the final sailor moon movie comes out, covering the stars arc, i’ve been thinking about its overall message. if you know the overall story, it is a space opera, of cyclical war between light and dark, creation and chaos. and in the final arc, a very far future version of sailor moon herself comes back into the past to try and convince her past self to end it all before the cycle gets worse. she idolizes her past self, eternal sailor moon, her powerful yet still teenage self. and young sailor moon still refuses to destroy it all, the whole cycle, because life is worthwhile, even with darkness and sadness. she convinces her future self not to regret her past choices, and inspires her to keep going.
reading that as a teen was impactful, but rereading it now, and viewing it whenever i can see the new movies, i understood, maybe, where naoko takeuchi was coming from. to write a whole series rejoicing in the difficulties, the joys, and the power of being a teenage girl, and to end it with that girl comforting and inspiring her future adult self, being reminded not to regret who she was and what she valued.
there are so many times that i wish i could go back and change certain things i did that would’ve changed my whole life trajectory and saved me from some hardships i feel like now i cannot escape. i want to go back and talk to younger me and guide her and protect her. but when i read sailor moon, i think that maybe she would remind me i was enough. i made the right choices with what i had at the time. i was powerful then and i am powerful now. i was enough then and i am enough now. i didn’t lose her potential, and her talent. she got me where i am today, she is here with me, just like eternal sailor moon is to sailor cosmos. and i think that’s a message a lot of people need sometimes as we grow up and compare ourselves to our younger selves.

Some thoughts on Edo-Tensei Itachi!
Hello! I'm alive!! 😄
I know it's been a while. I'm really terrible when it comes to any sort of social media, so I'm sorry for the silence. And I know myself well enough to say it will definitely happen again 😅😅😅 However, I just had a bit of a view-shift on Itachi and I wanted to share it with you guys to see what you think!!
So much of Itachi’s characterization comes from when he was under Edo-Tensei, since it's when we see him finally drop his mask and his lies. And from these scenes, Itachi is seen to be extremely loyal to Konoha—so much so, that it actually calls into question whether Sasuke is actually more important to Itachi than the village, like Obito claimed, since he seems to prioritize the village over Sasuke over and over again. He shows a blind loyalty to Konoha in his last scenes, refusing to see any of the massacre as Konoha's fault. He outright ignores his distraught brother, who is chasing after him, refusing to even talk to him at first, because stopping the Edo Tensei is more important to him.
But it suddenly occurred to me—Itachi was under Kotoamatsukami's control the ENTIRE TIME during these scenes.
And what was the command Kotoamatsukami placed him under? Protect Konoha.
Itachi breaking out of Kabuto's control when under the Edo Tensei is treated like him freeing himself from control completely. Like he's free to act completely on his own free will now. But he isn’t. He's under the command to protect Konoha—a command that feels exactly like his own, since Kotoamatsukami is meant to be an incredibly powerful genjutsu, one that works so subtly that the one under it's spell doesn't even realize their beliefs have been altered in any way.
I still believe, even without the Kotoamatsukami, Itachi does possess a loyalty to Konoha that is a bit blind and brainwashed. We were shown this about him from an early age, and it makes sense for his character with how he grew up. But I have to wonder how much of his beliefs and actions during his reunion with Sasuke — him completely ignoring Sasuke and refusing to stop to talk, him still proudly declaring himself "Itachi Uchiha of the Leaf" at the end — were influenced by him being under Kotoamatsukami's command?
Maybe, if he hadn't been under the compulsion to protect Konoha, he would have been much more warmer toward Sasuke in those scenes. More willing to stop and speak with him. Maybe, he might’ve even showed some understanding about Sasuke’s anger toward Konoha.
Maybe the opinions Itachi gave on Konoha in those final scenes with Sasuke... weren't fully his genuine opinions. Maybe he did harbor some doubts, some resentments, toward the village for their actions.

Voldemort craves. He craves pain. Craves flesh and blood. He craves power. He craves to be big. Great. Dangerous. Feared. Remembered. For his name to be burned in the minds of all whom ever cross his path. He hungers. There is a hollow in his chest. The matron at the orphanage where he grew up told him once. Told him he would never ever love or be loved, told him he was heartless. Tom didn’t think she knew how right she was. Voldemort hungers. He hungers for what he could not have. So he hunts. He hunts death, Hunts blood and hunts fear. He hunts power. And he craves. Craves to fill the void in his chest. His very soul. Fill it with blood and death and fear. Fill it with power. Reasoning it would appease the hunger. It did not. Lord Voldemort hungers. He craves love to fill the void in his chest, love that he did not know, could not feel, would never have. He hungers for Harry, who would fit perfectly in the abyss in his soul. Harry who could love the man that told him to die for a world that only ever brought him pain. Harry that could not love him.
He craves. He hungers. He hunts.

Alright, I'm playing catch up! Jinx and the temple of Janna.
I finally had time to sort all the thoughts I had seeing the trailer and especially the part in the ‘temple’.
(Disclaimer: I studied art history/contemporary art and stylists. I have a mind that likes to look for meaning and symbols. As a result, I may dig too deep.)
First thing, this is a ruined temple, a once holy place, a house of a god. And it is Jinx's paintings covering the wall, specifically her life and the events that made her.
It's her life story that made her something else, something more, perhaps even something to believe in. In a way, you could place her as the ‘daughter of Janna’ in this location. (The children of gods are often raised by mortals.)
There's already some talk of her being seen as some sort of spirit or symbol of Zaun, so we see the creation of jinx (but not necessarily the death of Powder) the creation of an idol. Another thing that adds weight: She's already been resurrected once.
There's also the death of the mentor/father figure. Something that often must happen to open and find the child's own path - not the way but of the one who held your hand, but your own way.
It is a lovely, tranquil, creepy setup that heralds her as a beacon, a symbol, a rebel - the (vengeful)spirit of Zaun.
I hope part of her mission becomes - all your attention on me - so you miss those moving to build, to live to thrive away from you who hold us down.
A different take or a simultaneous take is that this is a shrine and an acknowledgement of what she has been through, her memories. Even Powder gets shown here. She's not hidden or muffled away for a change.
And it's an interesting parallel with Ekko, who has the mural to remember. It's a place of remembrance, and I imagine catharsis and succour.
Is this her finding a place to safeguard and process her memories?
Maybe it will be a way to connect. It was and is a language they both know (art), I think that was part of the reason they understood each other so well as children.
Ekko is not present in the images, which are mostly Silco, Vi and Vander. But in this being a reflection of an act he's done, I'd say it may well be a setup for the next chapter.
It’s interesting that, now left to her own devices, she seems to have given her past a literal place. A place that is one both of becoming and ruin.
Anyway, in short, she's on her ‘own’ no one for her to follow or shape her and possibly let go of the weight of her memories - What choices will she make? And what freedom has she gained or lost?

The biopic epidemic is bad for a number of reasons (awful Pacing, misinfo, general boringness) but the worst thing about them, is how empty they feel.
I love Llewyn Davis and Tick Tick Boom. Before those movies I didn't care about the early 60s folk scene, or a failed musical from the 80s. But those movies made me care.
Those movies were full of passion. Made by people who were obsessed with the topics they were making a movie about. And it showed!
But all these new age biopics (Especially music biopics) are supposedly about artists who were extremely passionate about their craft - but you feel none of it. None of them made me care.
The Biopic Epidemic has turned into a machine - put in a person's life, a barely serviceable movie comes out.
They can't lean too hard into comedy, because then the Oscars won't pay attention. They can't be about anything "frivolous" from the subjects lives, because the Oscars only give awards to movies about Important Topics.
How do serious drama movies adapt to a market full of IP, superheroes and franchises? You make a serious drama movie about something recongnisable.. like a brand. Doesn't matter if that brand is Elvis or Pop Tarts - it just has to be something people recognise.
So these movies can't be "too serious" or go too deep into any one topic, because they have to be scientifically precise brand of milquetoast to appeal to Awards and the general public.
So all the movies end up feeling the same.
No central conflict, no emotional core, no defining info beyond what you'd find on a Wikipedia article.
The bohemian rhapsody and Whitney Houston biopic might as well be the same movie with different actors. They didn't make me care about either of them.
I don't understand why I'm supposed to be excited for a Bob Dylan or Beatles biopic that will feel exactly the same as every other biopic I've watched.
These are unique people, with endlessly fascinating lives and characters. But no matter what, the movie won't feel any different from the last music biopic.

Zack going from sacrificing everything to save the world to sacrificing the world for those he cares about.
Cloud was always a sacrifice the world for those he cares about and now even more so than ever.
Tifa probably always will be a sacrifice everything to save the world but she’d be a bit more reluctant to do so later down the track.
Aerith is and always will be a sacrifice everything to save the world but she’ll fucking beat herself up over it and come to borderline hate doing it. Like the only thing stopping her is the whole Ancient thing she’s got going.

Watched Avatar the way of water again yesterday (at least partly) as one does and noticed something. There's this scene where Kiri is lying face down in the water just minding her own business watching something in the sand. But then Aonung comes with his 3 friends and starts bullying her, calling her a freak and stuff just because she is not a “real” Na'vi. It just kinda reminded me of the marauders attacking Sev in SWM despite him minding his own business, because he is different. But Kiri actually got “lucky” compared to Sev. Because her 2 brothers come to defend her. And by defending I mean first they try settling it with words (like Lily). But because Aonung and his friends don't stop (and also talk bad about Neteyam+Lo'ak and the rest of their family), they start punching them. And while I obviously don't like physical fights and I also don't want to say that Lily should have punched James (actually she should but not because it would have been the right thing to do but because I would have loved seeing it) but I do think Sev needed a friend like this. Also, what Aonung and his friends did wasn't as bad as what the marauders did (I still am angry at him for what he did but because it was less bad, and he grew more in this one movie than James did in 10 years I at least tolerate him). Like they didn't get physical with Kiri (only her brothers but after Lo'ak punshed Aonung first) or even tried to undress her (considering the Na'vi barely wear any clothing it would have been easy to do so, but I don'tknow how much they actuallycare about covering up).
This scene plus the fact I do think Kiri gives huge Luna and some young Sev vibes, it's actually no surprise she is one of my favourite Avatar characters.

A bit on st expedite🕊
St expedite is obviously known for liking poundcake and appreciating offerings of cake/sweets(my first time praying to him I gave him donuts lol) but I just want to emphasize the importance of simple prayer and a candle, or even less. It’s okay to go to saints when you need help and don’t immediately have something to offer in exchange or in thanks, or at all. Just go to them and ask for help and see what happens, we do not automatically owe something all the time. It’s okay to be helped and need help without having something to give. Saints are here to help. If you do promise something, or noting here one of the traditional st expedite prayers ending in telling him you’ll spread his name and about his intercession, make sure that you show up. This can simply be a post, as I’ve been making posts on Wednesday’s regarding st Expedite bc I promised him that, or telling your witchy friends about working with him. Promise things that you would be able to regularly afford financially or energy wise to keep up! Today I happened to have extra Rice Krispie treats and had promised him a Wednesday sweets offering, so I gave him some and am making this post about him. But just keep in mind that a saint offering can be simply praying to them with a novena candle, and still be just as impactful and powerful.
