the thing about Jason. Is that even if he’d survived Ethiopia. Even if he’d never even gone to Ethiopia. He would’ve stayed himself - in the sense that the disagreement between Batman and Red Hood began long before Ethiopia. I think the thing about Jason is that the death, the revival, none of it mattered much; that he was a sweet kid, that he was an angry kid, all of that didn’t matter because something in Jason directly opposes something else in Bruce. It’s easy to pin point Jason’s death as the cause of why “everything went wrong” between them, but that’s not really the truth.

Introducing the Erased AU!!! or as I like to call it: The Mysterious Disappearance of Normally Oak

Hehehehe I actually came up w/ this back in May (with the help of @kaseyskat <3) but it's been modified to be more canon compliant since some recent things got the brain gears turning :]c

The premise is essentially Norm and Dood do some. very silly goofs. aka w/out telling anyone Normal decides to go back to the Doodler's home dimension w/ Dood to keep them company and through some magic shenanigans everyone now has no recollection of Normal or the Doodler apocalypse- everything is a picturesque happy ending... or is it?

Sparrow is the first to realize something's up due to her new art studio being where Normal's bedroom used to be, but the others aren't very far behind. They all have to put the clues they discover together in order to figure out what happened and bring Normal back. Speaking of, I dunno how long a human can last in an eldritch dimension after all...

Living as a system can suck, it sucks to share and headaches are bad, dissociation causes you to get lost in your own body. But you're still here, pushing forward—That's amazing. You're amazing. Side note I usually don’t do sign offs (mainly because I’m scared of fake claiming- or appearing cringe to non systems) but I could start doing it. it’s just easier for me to look at my posts a know who said what or who drew what because idk I like to keep track of it. Can’t enforce it with others because they aren’t all too comfortable with being open or even admitting we are a system but as the new host I’m more comfortable being out.

DID as a disorder has more criteria besides having two or more distinct personality states. you cannot say “DID is more than alter disorder” and then turn around and say endogenic systems are claiming to have DID on the basis of having alters, that isnt how it works.

you either recognize all of the symptoms as being important to the diagnostic criteria, or you give major over-importance to one part of it (and make yourself look like a hypocrite)

Legends Arceus is such a good game if you try to play it from a character's POV. I personally do it with most pokemon games because it's just a thing I've done since I was like seven I think BUT it just adds FLAVOR. Blorboify your experience.

Like. OK. Say you play as Akari but HC her as Dawn being isekai'd, partial memory wipe maybe if that's your jam. Does she choose Oshawott because it reminds her of Piplup at home, wherever home may be? Does she hear about Almighty Sinnoh and vaguely recall something about adventures with friends, something so close that she just can't quite grasp onto? Does she feel this... unease around Cyllene, even though she knows Cyllene has done nothing but be helpful and stand up for her so far?

Currently in my playthrough, Playing as Drew and having this immense adverse gut reaction to Melli? Frowning at Akari, knowing she seems familiar from... somewhere, assuming Drew and Dawn have crossed paths coordinating. Or him seeing Irida's red headbandy thing and short bobbed hair, and feeling this jolt of familiarity that he feels like he should know like the back of his hand? Picking wildflowers in Cobalt Coastlands, trying to grasp onto fleeting memories of flowers and conversations on far-off beaches?

A funnier option: Playing as Ash, being surrounded by people you vaguely swear you know one way or another but having to deal with the fact that to them you're just some guy that fell out of the sky?

Possibly the funniest: Playing as Iris/Cilan/whoever in Unova and seeing Ingo like HEY WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE
