They may have their own reasonings about why characters do what they do, how they feel internally etc. But they're just their own thoughts. You can ignore them. You don't need to take them as gospel. The only thing that really matters is what's presented on-screen, and you're free to interpret it yourself and come to your own conclusions. You don't need to take someone else's opinion as gospel.
