I just pictured Otto awakening from a somewhat spicy dream about Bruce, realizing “oh shit…this may be a problem” and deciding that the only way to fix this is by getting Bruce to snap at him.

However, it is VERY difficult to make Bruce angry to the point of trading insults (unless it’s John Dory lol) because he’s just that smooth. Plus having 13 children has honed his patience to be the level of a fucking saint.

I got news for you, sometimes when hot people are mad at you .... They are still hot. Sometimes it makes them hotter

Nate Bastian on sitting between Jack Hughes & Timo Meier:

"I talk a lot," he laughed, "I like to think that's not a bad thing. I sit between Jack and Timo, but I try on game days, maybe to talk a little less, because you know they've got their own stuff. But we have a pretty active corner, I know that Johnny (Marino) is always trying to migrate over and hang with us. And we have to send him back to his area."

He's never officially been told to stop talking by either Hughes or Meier, but then again, he hasn't quite tested the limits he said with a huge smirk.

"I haven't really tested the waters," he joked, "I kind of stay in my lane. Like Jack and I have never had a problem sitting beside each other but I'm sure I could find a way to piss him off if I really wanted to. He's got a lot of stuff going on."

Neither Hughes nor Meier, Bastian said, have any weird quirks that force him to be extra aware of when it comes to their space. But what he does have to stay mindful of is the type of day it is. Is it practice? Is it a morning skate? Is it before warmups? Depending on the situation, Bastian might have to self-regulate and keep control of his talkative nature.

"If you see Jack on gameday and on a practice day, it's like two different people. Sitting beside Jack (on a practice day) versus 10 minutes before warmup is like night and day.

"Literally, I can talk to (Jack) about whatever I want to talk about, it could be about anything," Bastian said of a practice day. "And then like before a game, I just sometimes have to catch myself and be like maybe it's not the right time."

There’s something unique about the pain of someone you love following in a trail you blazed through suffering, turning themself into a mirror of just how self-destructive you once were. There’s a wretched irony in how they teach you firsthand the pain your friends and family felt as you burned yourself up.

Now you know what it’s like to watch a lamb immolate itself. You can only watch as it dismisses your concerns with lies of how well it is— how completely, utterly, and perfectly fine everything is. You can only watch. You can only remember that you were a lamb just years before, and you taught this one exactly how to martyr itself by your example.

"Our budget is abysmal already don't you dare drop anything" -Band director

"Are Julia and Nick kissing in the hallway again? Someone go pour water on them"- Choir teacher

"Caitlyn, can you please tell me why all the salt and pepper has disappeared?"- Band Director, in the most threatening voice I've ever heard from him

"You should have never given me a microphooooooooo" (then holds note for almost a full minute) -Choir teacher

Here’s a fun activity you can do. You can find live shows of semi obscure bands you like uploaded by people who bring camcorders to lots of music shows in their area. Already this is really fun bless those people a million times for their service. And then you can find other bands both on that channel generally and from whatever tour/day at that venue that band was at. You can find stuff that’s super obscure you can find whole shows that literally only have like 20 views. It’s really beautiful. Chances are the channel will end up going to a lot of stuff similar in vibes to the band you already like and also often bands that are similar will tour together, and bands that are friends will tour together. It’s a very fun way to find really obscure stuff and get into that as well as see stuff featuring the band you already like! I found a band I had never heard of today and for one of their songs they had the trumpet player from the band I already know come on for one of the songs. It was really fun ^_^
