Intro Post!

cus I never made one, and I probably should...

Helloooo various peoples! My name is ShroomBloom, but you can call me Shroom (maybe one day I shall reveal my real true name...)! You can also try to give me another nickname if you want, I don't mind!

I'm an AuDHD theater kid with bad anxiety, insomnia, religious trauma, and a tendency to call my friends sluts; I'm currently a junior in high school (you can infer my age from that ig), and have many obsessions, including but not limited to: TADC, Arcane (my favorite show of all time), Stranger Things, FNAF (LOOOOOREEE), and Life is Strange (my favorite video game!).

Right now, I go to an arts high school, and at my school we are able to focus on a type of art to study, so I'm studying acting, with the hope of one day becoming a Voice Actor!

I'm AFAB and am gender non-conforming, so any pronouns are fine! I'm also Pansexual/Panromantic, Ambiamorous, and Demisexual! I'm not currently in a relationship cus my romantic life and luck are REALLY fucked (if you want the full story, ask me!).

There is a small chance that someday I'll write some fan fictions, we'll have to wait and see! This blog will mostly be me just sharing my thoughts and some randomness.

I don't acknowledge the movie), EPIC the Musical, The Last of Us, Genshin Impact, Heathers (the musical, I haven't seen the other stuff), and there are probably more but I can't think of them right now.

Just a lot of Lore Dumps, art, and comics!

I've tried writing little one-shots for practice but I struggle with making them flow nicely enough to where I'm confident in posting them-I can do base dialogue, symbolism, laying out plots, characters personalities/arcs, ect, but describing scenes or a character's thoughts/observations in a way that sounds natural is where I get tripped up when writing-I seem to work better visually in that regard.

I really respect people who can write out big grand fics! Maybe someday I'll tackle that type of project, or post a one-shot or two, but for now this blog is where everything is! (which I need to go through and sort-the story really started getting its footing mid September-ish so a lot of my August stuff is not entirely canon anyone for some things)

remember last post when i said i was gonna drop some kirby doodles but choose to draw other stuff instead, from this one to down, these are those doodles. i scrambled to search for my crayons but i coulnt find my blues and purples, and also my pink, at least i have the others. sometimes i get the need to draw with stuff like that, im thinking about buying pastels, i rlly like the art i see with them, but im afraid i might not like using them that much and end up wasting money, it has happened quite a few times with stuff like acrylics.

welp, already knew abt the story, i just bought deluxe for the epilogue (fun fact, rtdldeluxe released on the 24 of february (if i remember correctly) two days before my birthday, needles to say i ate good that day (and also because the sploon3 dlc would drop two days later too) i also have a exclusive rtdldx poster for the pre-order :3 )

aaand then i procrastinated it and basically took up almost a year to finish the main mode and magoland missions, then beat magolor epilogue in like 4 hours, already kinda talked abt magolor epilogue in another post so basically, loved it, wish there was more stages there or to be abe to even further upgrade abilities.

rn im doing extra mode (a bit reluctant because im only doing it for the 100%) not rlly liking that mode a lot, but its ok, bad thing is that ill have to do the true missions in magoland, its gonna be a pain

first i was gonna make it a gijinka, but i didnt like how it was turning out so i did it with normal kirbs, i think it was suppossed to have some inplied kirfluff, i forgor

the grimm reaper and loaf, felt way too lazy to do fluff too so he's just there with the text, i love epic yarn so much, i have tried emulating it but it either requieres me to have a wii remote or runs like absolute shit. im thinking about someday getting a 3ds, not just for epic yarn, robobot, triple deluxe and also because i always wanted to try flipnote (it seems cool!) but that is if im lucky enough to find them at a good condition and affordable price

Disabled Gardening

-YOGA MAT: Get a yoga mat or something similar that you can throw down on that mud and sit on - I do almost all my gardening from my little mat and it also gives you 1 clear section to work on

-TIME: I started prepping my garden this year at the beginning of winter, one plot at a time. Sometimes it takes hours to weed a tiny spot, sometimes I get a couple of plots done - I cover up what I've cleared with cardboard and come back to it when I have energy. When Spring gets closer, give yourself a couple of seed types a week to get done instead of trying to do them all at once - there's good charts online on what to plant when per zone

-NO TILL: There's other advantages to no till methods (doesn't disturb weed seeds or risk losing topsoil) but being able to lay down cardboard over a section and just leave it to prep itself is great. The grass and weeds should die within 3-6 weeks (see: time) and if you have decent soil you can pull the cardboard, throw amendments in, and plant. If your soil is unworkable have someone help throw dirt and amendments on TOP of the cardboard and plant there

-FREE STUFF: Money is always tight, but watching Craigslist or FB marketplace or similar can net you a good amount of free or very cheap supplies and plants. Local gardening, buy-nothing, gleaning, or agricultural sharing groups will have plants, seeds, supplies, and sometimes food. Seed libraries also exist and can sometimes be found at your local library! If you don't have room to plant you may have a local community garden you can apply for a spot in. Compost, wood chips, and leaves should all be posted for free pretty often

-TOOLS: The right tools can make a big difference, especially with things that depend on grip strength (like loppers or shears). Having ones that aren't rusted or dull make a big difference, and there are construction or art resale stores that may have tool options. Failing that I've found some good stuff at Goodwill over time. Having a cart that can easily cross whatever terrain you're working in can be helpful, pushing a typical wheelbarrow with any amount of weight through mud gets difficult Fast. The best I've seen for this is a design like the (unfortunately pricey ~$100) Gorilla Carts - something with 4 wheels, an easy to turn front, and a dumping option - I hope to have one someday. Also very very useful is a timer for your hoses and a sprinkler so plants get watered even on bad days (or weeks)

-FRIENDS: Asking for help sucks it is the worst thing in the world but alas we should do it anyways. Lots of people like to garden but don't and will have fun coming out and helping prep beds or plant seedlings with you, and in my experience maintaining a garden once that's done is the easy part - things don't need perfect weeding or care to grow and it feels like everything is less heavy than dirt and compost. Also, plant companion flowers that act as insect traps (baits them away from the plants you want) or repellant - nasturtium, marigold, there's a lot and they save you from having to actually deal w the pests most of the time.

You know how making art can tell you about yourself? No? Not quite sure what that means or looks like?

Well, here I can show you:

I am 19 years old, it’s august and I’ve just spent the summer at my parents house after my second year of university. I didn’t really do much that summer, hung out, taught some local kids swimming, but that’s it. I am terrified to fly back, halfway around the world to my tiny apartment where I live alone. The pervious year of university has been the loneliest I have ever been. I’m worried and feel unprepared for the future ahead of me.

On august 30th, I post a story which contains this section:

“Hell,” Nemuri says, sniffling with a big smile on her face as she comes down from the endorphin high. “You’re going to be okay kid. And for Christ’s sake you’re only twenty-years-old. You got a lifetime with your idiot ahead of you.”

On September 3rd I turn 20.

Keep going? Sure.

It’s the next year, still august and I have recently realized that the group of people I wanted to be my good close friends are 1) not interested in knowing me in that way and 2) are not good friends in general. I have no partner, I’ve never dated. I am frustrated that all of the really important people in my life I can only access through a phone and online and that I have to deal with time zones in order to talk to someone who cares about me.

On August 20th I post this:

“I wish we didn’t have to do this,” he says.

She sputters, “What do you mean?”

“I mean, catch up like this. I wish you just knew–” he sighs –“about all of this stuff, and I wouldn’t have to tell you because you’d already know. It’s not the same.”

“No, it isn’t.”

“And it’s not that life’s bad or anything, right?”

“No,” she agrees.

“But— It could be better right?”

“Yeah…” She feels the chill of the night air cling onto her, causing her to shiver.

“And that’s why, I wanted to ask..." She hears him take in a breath. "When this whole thing is over, do you want to do this together?”

“Do what together?”

“The life thing.”

She blinks. “What does that mean?”

“I’m not sure, but I know that it just doesn’t feel right without you being here.”

I kind of knew I was writing to myself here, but hey! It also fits the characters so it can include a bit of me in there, as a treat.

Then, right now, 2:46am, my big problem is that I am facing down my last semester of university, and then the great big cliff’s edge of the unknown in terms of what I am going to do with my life afterwards.

And in my fucking drafts, in a brain-dumping document, I see two lines I have written down, two alternate pieces of dialogue which I am reading over as I go to bed:

S: “It’s not about who you are, it’s about who you’ll become, but you need to give yourself some space for that.”

S: “You can’t make it happen overnight, but someday you realise you’ve always been on your way there. You just have to be open and let it happen.”

not so Study Sunday (26-1-25)

So a little bit of n3mesi5 related activity report.

A little refresher: Study Sundays is more of my obligation to myself and to my passion to create stories by documenting the stuff that I have learned so others and myself can learn from what I make.

if I didn't make a study sunday or make a post explaining why, I'm probably dealing with something serious in my life.

But anyways, Study Sundays is POSTPONED for today. Even though I find them to be not educational as I expect them to be, writing them still takes a lot of time and energy. I really want to make something that people will find entertaining to read or not really boring as a school textbook, which I'm yet to perfect.

1. Organizing and resting (again)

As of now, I spent my day to organize my materials and take a good rest from my little internet ventures, since I want to have a healthy relationship with my little internet career.

2. I joined a indie studio

Good news, I joined an indie studio. Bad news, I'm not getting paid. But that doesn't mean this opportunity is bad for me. I've been working as an advisor for the team, maintaining a sort of a distant relationship since I don't know if they're taking it seriously or it's gonna be a childish gimmick that burns out quick. This sunday, our second meeting began and I finally see the commitment I'm looking for. The lead dev is watching his crew very closely and even doing a good "team checkup" by asking questions for each member personally and privately to discover problems, ideas and even ways to improve his studio. I made it sound basic but he's going above and beyond and my words cannot express it. But still, He is doing an amazing job, beyond my expectations. So I decided to commit as well, so I'll be drawing AND writing for them.

3. Mandatory Art dump

Sometimes I'm not comfortable sharing some of my works even though they look amazing, so they'd be part of Study Sundays to show some of my less proud work to people that will appreciate them more than I have.

4. Preparing essentials

I finally finished setting up my paypal and making a Ko-Fi account. Someday I'll be confident to do commissions but I need to see if I can draw a variety of characters and have a consistent technique.

5. Thank you for reading

Pride Month Weekly Update!

Queue! As you may have noticed, I've been lagging a bit. But because things have panned out a bit better for my financial situation, I should have the mental bandwidth to get my queue properly filled over the next few days. The Patreon has less missing days, simply because I had more stuff in my document to keep consistent there.

Personal Life! Got a full ride to the college I'm transferring too! This is really exciting because it means I have slightly less financial burdens to stress about. I also managed to get my HRT covered! So two financial stressors off my plate! I am very relieved and proud of myself for all the work that went into getting both of those wins. And it means more mental bandwidth to put towards writing and hobbies, which I desperately needed.

And if anyone is curious about the Persona/OC pictured:

His name is Yenezgelle, or Yene. He is among a collection of OCs that are the closest I will ever get to a persona/self-insert-ish character.

Yene is an "immortaling" (a hybrid between the immortal elf-like species, called elphish, and the mortal human-like species of their world, called mortalings - someday I will do a worldbuilding dump either here or on a dedicated personal writing blog) and runs a circus but hates being around people. This is because of a genetic magic illness that is kinda like leprosy of the soul and that when untreated leads to zombie-like violent behavior. Unfortunately the treatment is eating spirits or other people's souls. Because of this illness, whenever he's in crowds, he feels weak and nauseous and during performances hides in his tent. His only skill is reading tarot and he is affectionately dubbed 'The Most Useless Man'. He makes his own tarot cards and is very good at mimicking art styles but has no definitive style of his own.

(There are more OCs from the same collection, two are also persona/self-insert-ish OCs, but that's all I have the energy to write up right now.)

anyway for my actual answer: in terms of direct inspiration, it doesn't really happen much? the last two times i did art directly based on someone else's work is probably this one from this fic, and also that time i drew art of someone else's judgment au. oh! and there's that moriohpsycho art based on this comic! (filthyguts' work is so very. hgngngghh. very good.) nothing else really comes to mind, and when i think of the other things i've been into recently there hasn't been as much opportunity for that to happen...

flex and herds = strong fixation but lmao. almost nobody else made stuff about them. nobody is surprised umineko = surprisingly i don't read much umineko fanfiction? and in terms of illustration, i certainly picked up imagery and indirect inspiration but nothing concrete enough for me to give an example... now that i think about it, i did once draw andromalius from redaction/sunny, but that was years ago, and also mostly because i was acquainted with the writer. ...i don't have that artwork on hand right now death note = didn't really get involved with the fandom + i enjoyed my own ideas well enough! ...i can't recall if i drew long-hair-L art before or after seeing other artists do it. and as for everything else the same kind of reasoning applies. didn't really get involved with the fandom or wasn't really compelled to make art in response to stuff i saw, or i just don't remember anymore.

buuuuuuut if we're opening this up to just... pulling ideas from other people? then yeah, all the time, though that kind of goes without saying when you have a creative hobby. ...it's probably going to be hard to come up with examples of this since it's more ambiguous.

I didn't want to post this on my main page, but I also want to dump some of my feelings into the void...

So, I'm not sure where to even start, other than saying I miss you.

You were always there when I needed to vent, or when I wanted to gush about my stupid hyperfixations. You were always encouraging and supportive. You were happy to bounce ideas around and make silly OC ships with me.

You were the reason I started playing FFXIV. You would go with me through dungeons because I was too scared of random players dunking on my crappy skills. You even made an alt with me, so we could go through the entire game from start to finish together. I'm sorry we never got to the end.

You bought me PKMN SH, and restarted your own SW game so we could play through it together. I was suppose to catch you a Galarian Ponyta, but I only made it as far as the water gym. I'm sorry I didn't find your pokemon.

You started playing Crystal Chronicles with me, because I'd told you it was my favorite FF game. I know you weren't that into it, but I still had fun. I'm sorry we never beat it.

You got me a friendship bracelet with a cat on it, because you knew I liked cats, even though you were more of a dog person. So I bought us some matching sun and moon necklaces and rings to go with them. I'm sorry I never mailed them to you. I was waiting for your birthday, but you left too soon.

You had wanted to do another art collab, but I never got around to drawing the sketch for us. Whenever we had an idea for some new ship-art, I'd add it to my personal to-do list for later. When I talked about drawing comics, you always encouraged me and offered our OCs. But I never found the time to start. It was always set aside for "someday" in the future.

I'm sorry I sat on RPs for years without replying. Yet you were still happy to plot and expand their worlds with me. We had so many ideas and so many plans.

I know it's too little, too late now, but I still want to create all that stuff. I still want to make those OC standees. I want to make those drawings. You had the rest of 2022's commissions planned already, and I want to draw them all. I want to make those comics for you.

It hurts a lot to think about doing it without you, and I don't know how long it'll take me, but I promise I will.

I just hope you know that you are loved.

Lindholm Family Headcanon Dump!

I know Michael Chu retracted the statement that Torbjorn has a bunch of kids, but Chu just quit so I make the rules now. It’s a LONG post under the cut because I got carried away. Mostly starring Torbjorn, but featuring Ingrid, Reinhardt, and Brigitte (plus a bunch of other kiddos that exist but I don’t have headcanon names for yet oops.) There won’t be any Bastion in this one because that’s an entire other post’s worth of content.

- Torb has a big family. He and Ingrid had a couple children of their own while he had a stable position in Overwatch, but they found out that they loved having little children around the house, so after all of their biological children moved out, they chose to volunteer in the foster system! This lead to them adopting at least four more kids. - Which means they drive a huge van everywhere.  - Both Ingrid and Torbjorn are masters at driving as a result. - They’re exactly equivalent in skill with one exception: Ingrid can parallel park the van, a skill he has yet to figure.

- Their house is pretty big (the Overwatch paycheck paid well, that, along with Ingrid’s income,) so there’s plenty of room for all of them. - There’s three levels: upstairs (for the bedrooms and playrooms,) downstairs (for entertaining spaces/the kitchen and stuff,) and finally, the basement, which is Torbjorn’s personal workshop. - Most third world countries would kill to have a workshop as good as his. - It’s all because Ingrid spoils him so much. He gets just as excited for Christmas as his kiddos do. - “The latest arc welder? Aww, honey, you shouldn’t have!” - Ingrid doesn’t work in his field, but she listens to his special interests dumps, and puts in enough research of her own, that she knows just what to get him every year. - Ingrid doesn’t like getting gifts as much as he does, so for Christmas, he always makes sure to spend quality time with her. He jokes that he ‘sucks at planning dates’ but he really doesn’t! For her, it’s nothing but the top restaurants and most exciting experiences. She loves going ice skating in particular, something that he hates but will always do with her. - Torbjorn and Ingrid split the cooking equally. They’re a bit traditionally gendered with what they like to cook, with Torb leaning more towards grilling and Ingrid preferring baking, but it suits them just fine. - Their grill, along with every other cooking contraption in the house, has been upgraded in some way. In fact, Torb’s the one who grills only because Ingrid still can’t figure out how to use the damn thing since he upgraded it. - Their house is covered in contraptions of all sorts. Other than the grill, Ingrid utilizes every single one of them. Meals get served and sent around via chutes. The floors sweep and mop themselves automatically when they’re dirty. The dishwasher loads, washes, and unloads itself in record time. - You know the zany contraptions in the Addam’s family house? Think that, but more brightly colored. - However, Ingrid’s taste in interior decorating is the opposite of gothic or minimalist- she loves quirky, unique features and bright colors. - She loves thrifting.  - The huge chair they got for Reinhardt in the living room was a thrift store find that she’s still very proud of. - She also has an old-fashioned “live laugh love” wall with all of the family portraits. She knows it’s cheesy, but it’s nostalgic for her.  - She doesn’t just bring furniture home. She also brings home cats. - That’s right. Brigitte got her cat love from Ingrid. - It’s a long-standing tradition, with the first cat she brought home was over thirty years ago when they were a new couple. - Torbjorn swore that it would be her cat and that he wouldn’t take care of it. - He was wrong. - Very wrong. - He now loves his cats and calls them cutesy nicknames in whatever language he feels like in the moment. - He built them automated feeders, automated litter boxes, and even some automated toys. He spoils them rotten. - Every time Ingrid brings home a new cat it’s the same routine. He swears that this will be the last one and that he’s not taking care of this one! But that’s wrong and he knows it. - But, because Ingrid’s always bringing things home, she’s a little more tolerant when Torbjorn brings. . . a specific Omnic. . . home.

- But that’s a whole other fanfic that I would need to write, so instead, back to the parenting! - Ingrid is 100% a feral soccer mom. Torbjorn is just as bad. - They’re the ones screaming their lungs out at sports games.  - They have a house rule where their kids have to participate in one extracurricular sport. It can be school teams, club teams, or even just working out on their own, but fitness is something that both Ingrid and Torb consider important. - Torbjorn, of course, built his own gym in the basement. He trained with Brigitte, and now he trains with another one of his daughters who’s taken an interest in weight-lifting. - But this all doesn’t mean that the Lindholms discourage more creative talents! - Torbjorn crafted a giant steel board where any arts and crafts get hung with magnets. One of his little boys is an artist and he couldn’t be more proud.  - Brigitte experimented with metal art when she was a teenager, and many of her pieces are now permanent fixtures in the Lindholm home. - She crafted a particularly beautiful string of lights that hangs above the dining room table.

- Now it’s time for Uncle Reinhardt!!! - Okay, so maybe he’s called just ‘Reinhardt’ by the older kiddos, but everyone knows he’s essentially an uncle in all but blood. - He’s been invited to every holiday celebration for about. . . actually, he’s just always been there.  - He’s a true multi-generational staple. Brigitte can’t remember a holiday without him, and now the younger kiddos are getting doted on by him every Christmas.  - Rein loves telling stories for the children. He spends the entire car ride there planning his multi-hour epics. - Now that she’s older, Brigitte sometimes helps with the storytelling, contributing sound effects and such. - Something which just causes Torbjorn to laugh and shake his head. - Reinhardt also loves nothing more than being a walking jungle gym. As soon as he walks in the door, he’ll grab the nearest kiddo and put them on his shoulders. He’s often seen walking around with a kid in each arm and usually an extra hanging off his back. - Sometimes he gives Ingrid a heart attack when he starts throwing kids around, but hey, she’s known him long enough at this point that she (mostly) trusts him. - Everyone gets sad when Reinhardt has to leave, but he insists that there is justice that needs to be done. He soothes the kiddos by promising an even better story when he gets back.

- Now it’s time to get sad. . . here’s my Brigitte headcanons. . . - Brigitte was REALLY close with her father growing up. She spent so much of her time in his workshop learning from him, as one of the only Lindholm children to take a liking to machinery and engineering. - However, when she moved out. . . she found it difficult to escape his legacy. Everyone, many of the older industry professionals and the like, expected her to be just like her father. They tried to cajole her into finishing old weapons designs that Torbjorn had abandoned. - It was then that she learned the full extent of Torbjorn’s involvement in the Omnic Crisis. - She had a lot of trouble reconciling this news with her love for him. It’s still something she had great difficulty with.  - This shock played a big part in her decision to give up on finding a job in the industry and instead accompany Reinhardt on his travels. - It wasn’t a decision that Torbjorn endorsed, which hurt their relationship even further. - But it’s not like he doesn’t try to keep in touch. They call every other weekend or so to catch up, but there’s always a tension between them that neither one is ready to address.  - They will talk about it someday. They’ll figure things out. They care about each other too much for either one to give up.  - In the meantime, though, Brigitte has gotten a lot closer with her mother. She calls her much more often.  - They talk about all of the things that Brigitte wasn’t all that interested in when she was younger. Stuff like fashion, makeup, and more traditional advice, such as how to get a date or what it feels like to fall in love.  - Ingrid also makes sure to show her how the cats are doing over the online call.

- To be truthful, Ingrid isn’t too worried about Brigitte’s decision to live the rough-and-tumble lifestyle. It reminds her a lot of her own young adulthood, where she decided to pick up everything and move to the big city to get away from her parents. - She’s quick to remind Torbjorn that her own little rebellion is how they came to meet whenever he gets worried about Brigitte’s decision. - (They met at Ironclad. The only job Ingrid could find after her big move was working secretary. She fell head-over-heels for him immediately, while it took him a while to warm up.) - (Their first date was just walking around the city, with Torbjorn talking almost the entire time about random things he saw. He’d see the newest cars on the street and dive into what he knew about that industry. They’d pass by a construction sight and he’d point out what tool designs were similar to the ones he was working on.) - (When he realized that she was actually listening to him and taking him seriously, he agreed to a second date and never looked back.) - They aren’t a perfect couple- they’ve had their fair share of arguments, especially because they’re both deeply stubborn, but they’re always able to work it out in a way that makes them both happy. That skill is why they’ve lasted so long. - One thing they’ve never argued about, though, is Torbjorn’s commitment to duty. When they started dating he made it clear that his work was very important to him. Ingrid made it clear that she was willing to be patient. - It got hard when he was away for months at a time with Overwatch during the Crisis and its aftermath, but through constant online calls they managed. - The biggest surprise of Ingrid’s life was when he told her he wanted to have kids when the Crisis ended. - Turns out, having a major life crisis about how your career impacted the world makes someone want to find another purpose in life besides their career. - And thus, they dove into parenthood together. - Now they both couldn’t be happier :)

I’m glad I finally got an ask like this because I’ve been needing an excuse to dump my original vision for the blog since I don’t think I will continue anytime soon

So, here’s an unplanned stream of consciousness explanation for Karumaitsu:

Before I go off and forget the question entirely, the basic of the blog is that during a review (the sandwich one) Karamatsu unwillingly becomes a witness to a crime (I was thinking a murder of some kind) and the culprit starts to stalk Kara and generally harasses and threatens him. Though he tries to deal with it quietly and by himself, Osomatsu gets involved and the two find a way to deal with the stalking permanently. The person in the first post is actually Osomatsu, and although I never really worked out the kinks, I was planning on the ending to be Kara and Oso luring the stalker to a secluded area to fatally confront him.

The reviews, asks, and little events all take place in the past. In my head all of the reviews and ask responses (save for some of the story related posts) are like video uploads on a YouTube channel, and my first post, the forest at night, is the latest upload. I wanted to try and give the effect of someone seeing that, wondering what the hell happened, and then going through the entire channel’s uploads to see what led up to that point.

My basic premise was to take a gag that I felt was a good enough hook to turn some heads and separate myself from other blogs. I went with food reviews because I had a lot of art/joke au(?) versions of the boys surrounding food, and also I find the absurdity of Karamatsu (my favorite) making food reviews in some broke ass car on the side of the road somewhere (Plus, Karumaitsu just sounds nice to me). I wanted to add a overarching story and horror/thriller twist to the premise, which could be a way to make the blog a little more interesting for anyone who might come across it, and keep me from getting bored and having it go the way of my previous ask blogs (which ultimately didn’t work out lmao)

If I’m honest, I think a combination of graduating high school and my waning interest in Tumblr/Osomatsu-San really killed my desire to continue with the blog. I also have a nasty habit of waiting a long ass time to start a project I’m unsure of, and I think if I had jumped on the project sooner, I would have finished it. I had it all planned out and I only had about 5-6 reviews left before concluding the story altogether. I also get impatient, so I feel my execution was off. If I were to go back, I would remake the sandwich review make it more easy to understand what happened (not too easy, but more than what I had). You’re not dumb for not getting it Anon, I just didn’t feel like I stuck the landing.

I’ve wanted to revive the blog multiple times over the years but it never seemed like a good time, and a lot of the work I do now is focused less on fan art but my own oc story Hexcode (which this blog has helped me work out the kinks in, so I’m greatful) but Tumblr is really bad when it comes to oc work which is why I’ve essentially abandoned it. I do have an idea for another horror/murder mystery au with a Flowershop!Kara, I have some doodles and it’s some of the few Oso-related art I want to make these days. However I know myself well enough to know that a blog, especially on Tumblr will prolly be short lived, especially since the fandom just isn’t what it used to be, and I’m certainly not the super fan I was back then.

I’ve rambled far too long already but I do really want to thank everyone who supported this blog while it was active, this was by far my biggest and fastest growing blog which I’m still shocked about. Specific shoutout to @taramatsu-san for not only contributing art but overall just being a really neat and supportive person. We don’t talk too much anymore but if you see this you’re valid!! If anyone is still interested in the stuff I’m working on now, I’m most active on Instagram and like I said earlier most of my work is just oc stuff now, so if you’re not interested it’s no worry. Maybe I’ll come back to this concept someday, but for now I feel it’s best to leave it as is.
